8761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Smoke Exchange - PRESALE IS NOW LIVE - 50% BONUS - LIMITED AMOUNT on: October 06, 2017, 08:26:31 AM

A quarter of a million jobs by 2020? So few? Even the coconut industry has millions haha. But to be serious, everything is rosy for legal marijuana. I think the big boom will come when Google ads finally starts accepting cannabis related keywords. Unfortunately, until now, the only time and place I have ever seen advertising on cannabis is on pirated stream sites (actually I do not why, would be interesting to find out).

Good updates, thank you for sharing.
8762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] VIBEHub | Crypto Based Virtual Reality Marketplaces & Hubs on: October 06, 2017, 07:54:42 AM
woah its dropping fast. Too many impatient people selling right now. Now is the time to buy for all who wants to invest in a long term.
I think also this the right time to buy Vibehub and for sure after few months of holding this you can earn more profit. But it depends to the people if they buy vibehub . This coin is for longterm and if you hold it for few months and few years and for sure you will more profit.

I actually missed selling it when price reaches .0003 ETH (7x ICO price). Should have made a profit there and buy again on dips like right now. But hey, Investing in a long term is not bad after all as long as you believe on the project's potential.

I am glad to see this type of market actually, since it gives people like me the opportunity to buy into tokens at good prices. You cannot help how the token behaves on the market after they get listed. You can expect all the impatient sellers who want to see immediate profit to dump on exchanges. Great strategy I guess!

This one will drop a little bit more and then flat before meeting old high.
8763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] AirToken | Mobile Data Accessibility | Token Creation Oct 5 on: October 06, 2017, 07:15:31 AM

I have to say, for something so small and under the radar, 92% of the $15 million cap is an amazing feat, especially with all the mistrust in ICOs lately. Saw that you shut down Slack, good move. But to be honest the scammers are also coming to Telegram. This forum is still a good place for important updates so do not abandon it!

2,000 plus contributors for average of $6. Very rich people!
8764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO ANN] DFScoin, The Offical Coin of Fantasy Sports Now On CoinExchange.io on: October 06, 2017, 06:40:49 AM
Amazing effort to get listed on coinexchange so quickly, and it looks like the time for cryptopia as well as Tradesatoshi is also coming near. Any chance for a last airdrop for those of us who came late to the party? Also, just one curious question for my understanding. This is going to be the official fantasy sports crypto currency. Are there are of the big teams already supporting DFSCoin? Might be something to try for the future.
8765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: October 06, 2017, 06:19:19 AM
So i've been reading about the DAF's whitepaper and i'm glad you guys are not only incorporating digital assets, but also real world assets to allow for a big diversity of DAF's with ranging risk/reward.
Yes, it's always good to have a mix of both, digital, and physical assets, in order to provided assurance, and alternative means of investmet. This is something they claim is new, and is sure to disrupt the asset management market for sure! The white paper is solid. The other papers are very detailed as well!

That is always a good strategy now it seems especially when it comes to investment, which has always been the real of real world and traditional. While the real world is coming to embrace crypto, crypto must also look to embrace more of the real world. Adoption must happen both ways for it to succeed. This is the basic principle of investment also. To diversify and spread out risk.
8766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]💫ExtensiveCoin🚀 Rare/scarce High rewarding cryptocurrency💰 platform on: October 06, 2017, 05:55:12 AM
Can anyone share details of how much the first ICO brought in and what the token price was (per EXTN). Also, what are the details of the second and further ICOs? Want to add this to my calendar so I do not forget about it when it comes out. The announcement does not make clear any dates so would appreciate if someone from the community could shed some light on this for me. Thank you in advance!
8767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: October 05, 2017, 07:48:02 PM
Also, does anyone know why the circulating supply in CoinMarketCap doubled from yesterday to today?

They are trying to make it right. Supply is higher.

Two things possible here.

Either coinmarketcap forgot to remove the original token before the swapping, therefore the doubling, but this is not likely since it is automated.

Two, the developers accidentally created a duplicate entry into the listing, and we're seeing the double.

Either way, this should be fixed in a couple of days (seen this mistake happen many times when new tokens are issued).
8768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO 🚀 FREE Airdrops 🚀 12 of 40 Rounds on: October 05, 2017, 07:38:36 PM
I have some commitments at the moment for the next 6 weeks at least, but that means I will still be in time for more than half of the DeepOnion airdrop rounds, and hopefully my new level will mean a much more efficient stake rewards. Everyone here seems to be enjoying your time and that is good news. Good luck to this team and do not go off to the moon so quickly!
8769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's future on: October 04, 2017, 07:47:35 PM
Not to mention that with more and more regulations coming, ICOs will have to do a lot of homework and background preparation before they can even think to announce an ICO. No more insta-ICO pages and rogue crypto devs looking for a quick buck. Well,,, OK not no more since HYIPs still exist everywhere but they will probably have to work harder and bait total newbies.

I hope I do not speak too soon,,,
8770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Authorship ATS on: October 04, 2017, 06:09:35 PM
Their tokens has 10 times lower price than they promissed. So they spent our nerves and in the end didn't even compansate it by the token price Sad.

I knew the price was always going to be FAR lower than their estimate. Anyone could see that this was an impossible price. Think about it, giving away $15 for a sign up plus referral bonus? Based on their price, the bounty hunters would be gathering thousands of dollars before the ICO even took place.

Anyway, I think they just shot themselves. The worry now is for their investors who are surely going to suffer for this mistake.
8771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy Centra(CTR) on: October 04, 2017, 04:22:30 PM
All ICOs token prices dropping after ICO but i don't understand why the people sell their token low price than ICO price?

One big affliction to the ICO industry is bounties. A lot of ICOs offer ridiculous bounties and bonuses to early participants. For example, if you chose to do Twitter, Facebook and BCT sig campaign, you could get 3 bounties. Then if you went in on the first day of ICO or pre-ICO and took some of the bonuses like I have seen even 60 and 80% bonus... and some even have "volume bonus" like extra 15% for 1000 ETH...

Then you get this scenario: normal investor = normal rate
Bounty+bonus hunter = normal rate + 100% more.

So when tokens sell even 10 or even 20 percent below price. You can dump everything and still make profit.

See the problem?
8772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: October 04, 2017, 12:49:07 PM
Massive call indeed, for Monero to take even 1% of BTC share, let alone 3.5%! But stranger things have happened in the world of crypto. We saw Monero take centrestage in 2016. It did not prevent Alphabay and Hansa from getting caught since they still loved Bitcoin, and we have seen Monero spike in 2017. I believe if it can fend off competition from Zcash we will see another ATH for Monero in 2018. I do not have much, but enough to make me a happy camper if it gets to $200!
8773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Siacoin future ? on: October 04, 2017, 10:12:13 AM
Check out this article written roughly a month ago

https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2017/08/investors-poured-millions-into-a-storage-network-that-doesnt-exist/

The coin is now under half a cent. Any thoughts as to whether or not this coin will reach $0.02 by mid-2018?

Their creators probably always knew that their coin was going to be at this low, low price for a very long time. Whatever we witnessed on Sia's rise previously were all the actions of whales and profit takers. I do not usually like how projects launch ICOs for products that do not exist, but I guess it is not Sia's fault in this case that millions were invested in this project and that has partially piled on the pressure.

In fact I am amazed that the price has held so well with all the ETH miners dumping it daily. 2 cents in 2018 = modest estimate!
8774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy again? on: October 04, 2017, 08:33:07 AM
TODAY is the best time to buy, not tomorrow !
Well that is true in most cases, especially if your a hodler .
But really you can buy now and take the profit in a few weeks , months... as things go now, bitcoin should pass the 5000 mark in about 1 week or 2.

Its the best time to buy of bitcoin as the price is not yet reach to $5000. I think we will reach bitcoin price to $5k before this year end. Yes you can take profit for the upcoming weeks or hodling is also the best to earn.

Yeah, I looked at some of the "bigger" volume altcoins yesterday and took a few positions on coins who have lost about 50% of their value these few weeks since August and September. Yes, I know I am risking a lot, but I am a long term holder that will only check back next year January at the most early. I believe Bitcoin will pass $5000, and take along many alts for the ride. As soon as I can sell for double price, I will sell half my holdings in all coins, and wait for the rest to go even higher.
8775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EMC2 token burn 6th OCT on: October 03, 2017, 01:41:16 PM
Ah, no wonder there was all that volume on exchanges today, even top 5 almost for some. Price will of course increase because of this news, but believe me, when all your 999 confirmations make it through, your sells are going to burn it all down. The days of burning tokens to improve price are not gone yet, but nearly over. No one was going to buy such artificial pumpings for very long.
8776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ELIXIR (Timereum 2.0) Speculation on: October 03, 2017, 11:13:00 AM
This coin is very undervalued,  I think it's going to be sky high soon.

I agree!! It's only been a little bit over a week since I posted this and it has went nearly 10x so far. It's still very undervalued and not to late to get into. Everybody is comparing this project to the SALT projext and that is currently trading at $5.

I don't follow the SALT development but I will say this, Elixir has the hardest working devs that I have ever seen. They are working around the clock and consistently making progress while taking the time to answer questions and keep the community well informed.

The project is gaining more and more attention everyday and it won't be long until it really takes off. Buy now while it is cheap. If it nears the value of Salt project, you're looking at another 10x easily.

I was just going to say that this was not the first lending token and then you came out and said it! Anyway, I highly doubt that this dev team can take it all the way to $5, no matter how hard they work. It is always tough to beat the first mover, even if you have superior tech. Your biggest obstacle is always adoption. Look at Bitcoin! People laugh at how clunky it is but it is still king. Elixir is just going to have to work their butts off to prove themselves. I am not in this one,,, too expensive!
8777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: To bounty or not to bounty? on: October 03, 2017, 09:04:02 AM
Ok, guys: one question does not leave me peace. Actually there are 3 questions

-  is a bounty manager such an important "thing" for an ICO?
-  What are bonty managers actually do, what the founder and the project team can not reach? Do they have "magical" contacts with money, do they type advertisings faster than anybofy else, have they created the "right" community and what is on their communities so different to all numerios forums in internet?
-  And in case a bounty manager really makes sense, how to distinguish the "good" one from the "ivel"?

-Yes it is. But you should do it on your own instead of outsourcing it, unless it is just short term or you do not have expertise. You also want an experienced one, not an amateur. Badly run campaign means bad reputation.
-Bounty managers just take care of tedious tasks like ensuring people post/tweet/like the way they're supposed to and have good quality posts. You as a dev should focus on building your coin not on counting posts.
-Feedback. Check out their past work. See profile> post history. See feedback on trust.
8778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign, that pays doge, eth or similar on: October 03, 2017, 07:54:32 AM
Look very hard in the Service section and you might find some campaigns that pay out in ETH. There is one service (Nexchange) that offered to pay $5 to beta testers for trying out their platform, and they paid it out in the currency that you used to exchange (which is currently in Dogecoins, Ethereum or Litecoins).

But why not just earn in bitcoin and exchange it out to your preferred alt?
8779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Possible and Profitable to Mine Ethereum with Desktop? on: October 03, 2017, 07:21:05 AM
Judging from some of the beginner guides that you can find out there and even a few on this forum itself, the short answer is yes, it is still possible and profitable to mine ethereum with a desktop. However, if you have an existing desktop and want to use it to mine ETH, you probably will not make any money (you might get some ETH but your bills will crash your profit).

According to this post from Ethereum forum, you can easily set up a desktop computer using these specs and make profit: https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/8886/quick-start-guide-to-mine-ethereum
8780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sub $1mil market cap coins/projects with reasons to x10 - x100 or more? on: October 03, 2017, 06:41:57 AM
My favorites below 1M market cap are

1. Sumokoin - fork of Monero. recent roadmap release on the BCT thread,  https://www.sumokoin.org
2. Prototanium - testnet of Unobtanium, low supply coin
3. Noblecoin - PoS coin, has integration with a gift card business which is unique for a coin with this low a market cap, https://www.noblemovement.com/index
4. Triangles - 33% staking returns, low supply, encrypted messaging, active development with new website released recently, https://www.triangles.network

My favorite of the four is Triangles due to the consistent staking performance

Not sure about Sumokoin but Prototanium is one of those rare alts that goes right back to SHA256 POW. OK, so it is extremely rare but has this really been a good thing for low supply coins? And in this case, it is the exact same copy of Unobtanium (they share testnet, I believe not that it is the testnet for Unobtanium). It was premined even years ago so I do not see any value in taking this on (at least not in terms of mining).
