Funds transferred from R3/R4 wallet for Thomas for his R2 upgrade shares at $43 ea.

Awaiting address confirmation fr. Thomas re: balance of refund.

1 R4 PP share floating still incoming on my end & that should be it as far as my inputs to the R3/R4 wallet. [FWIW: Myself, Thomas, and even bobsag3, are all committed paying extra to get extra A/C and UPS/battery power for R2-R5 as the extra ability to Overclock could be a big difference maker. I'm also paying extra for R1 to an R1 co-op member for UPS/Battery backup.]
882  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]R2:HashFast + Host, Dbl. HashRate Upgrade Fundraising (PM Plz) on: October 01, 2013, 02:30:42 AM
Confirmed: 13 shares paid out of 40. https://blockchain.info/address/17a29H9BhUnaPZgZSdFifPndGxxWQXayuH

2 upgrade shares for R2 confirmed PAID by/for thomas_s.

[Semi-OT: 2 R1 shares paid by -Redacted-, may be merged w/ R2]
883  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Additional voting and major decisions for DZ Miner Cooperative, Round 1 gents on: October 01, 2013, 02:21:32 AM
Paid for my 2 shares worth of R1 upgrades.  Be more than happy to pay for some others, too.  Double your hashrate, double your fun !!

-Redacted- is the first confirmed payment for R1. Thanks!

https://blockchain.info/address/1LD49ExSFQrfG4RF9uSQWnejZtMPVH9fKH

Seeing 2 shares paid for in R1 so far. We'll make sure to get any R1 upgrade share owners into R2, if R1 lags for whatever reason.

FWIW: This is an awesome deal at the moment: $43 for 10-12.5GH/s for a November 1 HF miner with the upgrade scheduled to arrive about a month later.

If  no one posted this video

So apparently its over 500gh/s and they started shipping today. =)

I think someone beat you to the punch but that's ok. Alright, Thomas is back on the case for a little while. Please send PMs and reservations to Thomas WRT to R5 until he signs off.

Also, please don't forget to take advantage of our awesome new resource Thomas set up to lock in your reservation without any doubt about priority as far as the last few shares!

Just an update: all R3/R4 shares are now accounted for. Yay!

Nice to have that out of the way. Also, no update from HF yet re: our 2 Sierras but I expect to hear from them shortly and did hear back from them yesterday regarding the co-op's shipping destination & ownership transfer for R2, so I know that they're hard at work, even on weekends.

Also R5, Version 2.0 features a 400-600GH/s KnC miner that should be shipping from Sweden in the next day or two...
886  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [CLOSED]R2:HashFast + Host, Dbl. HashRate Upgrade Fundraising (PM Plz) on: October 01, 2013, 01:33:41 AM
I know we went with Hashfast, but congratz to KNC today, announcing that the Juipiter will run 550+ Gh/s. 28nm ASIC is real now and here to stay (for the next couple months at least  Wink)

So DZ, if you aren't too busy, how many shares are in for the Hashfast Upgrade so far?  Huh

11 confirmed, transferring 2 more from thomas_s. tonight so that will make it 13 out of 40 paid.

If there's R1 payments we may consolidate w/ R2 in order to make sure at least *1* of the R1/R2 Baby Jets get the upgrade chip. We'll move share ownerships around as best as possible between R1/R2. Gimpy w 1 arm at the moment but slowly getting thru PMs, ownership changes, upgrade payments & pushing R5 along.

Someone even discussed with me buying out all or R1 (while still allowing access to orig. buyers if they their change mind before shipping of 2nd chip) so that's an option too.

Thank you Thomas for all your hard work and for pointing that out. The share price will be adjusted accordingly by $3 because you *do NOT* want to run electronics without UPS/Battery protection. Yes, these GBs can sell out quickly when a magical winning combo happens.  Grin

As far as speed: This round may take 2nd place speed-wise to our R3 GB.  Wink

I'll update the OP to reflect the price change to $78 to include what's likely to be an APC UPS w/ battery bank meant for the co-op's miners.

10 shares reserved.  I get to pick the color once you start taking payments, right?

Let me know if you might be interested in doing an R6 group buy for one of my Day-1 KNC Jupiters - I've got a number of them that will be headed down to MO for hosting when they are shipped.  These will be going out the door From KNCMiner in the next few days and should be hashing late next week or very early the week after.

These don't have an MPP, but they are minimum of 400 Gh/s and supposedly much more - possibly 500 Gh/s from the sounds of things - and will be here well before the HF boxes.  And, of course, I'd turn them over to the co-op at cost...

Damn, now I don't know whether I want to wait for a Day 1 Jupiter to potentially come in, or pony up for the HashFast. What a good problem to have!  Grin

Wow! Are you a psychic?! floatyfish, you sorta predicted this yesterday. Bow down everyone! Must've been you using the Force to nudge R5 to a Day 1 Jupiter.

Must be kismet or fate. Hahah!

It's a shame the Force can't put more BTC into my account for more shares  Grin

I stole this video from WaldoHoover's GB (which I'm also a part of also), and the (theoretical) limit of these miners is 576 GH/s!!!  Shocked

Link to official KnC video where they announce this rate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFOcI8nK2xI

Nice! Thank you!

So: the theoretical known limit seems to be in the range of our hosting ability/capacity thanks to bobsag3, which would alter one's share to 5.76GH/s per share, assuming that's a sustainable rate that doesn't destroy the miner while under this type of 24/7 load. Keep in mind, you don't want to destroy a miner by getting too ambitious/greedy vis-a-vis HashRate; the whole "1 bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush" analogy holds true.

Also 5 more shares reserved via PM!

40 shares available!

ok, 3 shares for me, please

Nice! Thanks!

I actually only have -Redacted- down for 5 shares (even though he paid Thomas BTC for 10 shares when we were attempting to buy one of cypherdoc's Baby Jets), so if he really does keep 10 shares (or 10%) instead of 5 shares:

48 shares minus 3 shares for clintar minus 5 possible additional option shares for -Redacted-, means we may actually have as little as 40 shares left but for now, we'll list it as

45 shares available!
891  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN!, 48/100 avail.]R5: KnC Jupiter, BELOW-COST + Hosting! Auto reserve! on: September 30, 2013, 11:34:15 PM
PM reserved to pass on to Thomas and -Redacted-.

15 more shares reserved via PM. Thank you and Welcome Aboard!

48 discounted shares available for Round 5.

DZ  I went to your site and made an account and placed an order but I can not send payment to the address that it gave me. the address shows highlighted in red in my wallet send to address field.  ami doing something wrong here or...

Please let me know how many shares you'd like to reserve and I'll update the numbers and the co-op.

Good to have manual backup for when automated aspects fail or don't work quite right yet. Thanks!

Sorry Thomas will adjust that when he gets off work and can check in. He's handling BTC payments for this GB unless you want to do PP payment (-Redacted-) or Escrowed BTC Group Buy Share purchases at BTCrow at 2% extra with $500 per transaction insurance, in which case: you would contact me for payment after CCing thomas_s and -Redacted- .

BTW, it's not my site, it truly is the co-op's site as Thomas set that up for our co-op as one of his many contributions to the group's success.

Count me in for 1 share please.

Noted. Thank you! Please feel free to follow up w/ an online reservation as the share price will be adjusted shortly.

63 discounted shares available! Comes with a new October 15 delivery date guarantee or your money back!

This had better arrive before November 1st as stated on the OP - I'm actually expecting it to be be mining next week.  KNC started their order numbering at 300 when they opened things up for pre-orders.  This Jupiter should be the 53rd order out the door...

If it isn't mining by October 15th at the latest, I hereby volunteer to refund everyone, 100%.  How's that for a performance guarantee?

Here's the launch video, and the official KNC hahrate declaration for the Jupiter...

Wow! Uh, that's pretty dang generous! I'll add this to the top post. I think shares will fly off the virtual shelves much like R3, for some reason.  Wink

Hi clintar. Yes! Thanks to -Redacted-, Round 5 is open again (with some slight changes)! They're $75 ea & we've been using bitstamp's rate, so whatever that equivalent is when you make your BTC payment.

I'm transferring the HF R5 orders to an estimated even earlier delivery (mid. Oct.) KnC Jupiter rated at 400-600 GH/s for similar performance at discounted rates. Some people may decline the Mfg. switch due to circumstances but it be what it be, and some people may decline to proceed and their shares made available to others. But for now...

64 shares available!

If you state your soft reservations here (and/or the online site set up for the co-op by Thomas), I'll update the reservation numbers until Thomas or -Redacted- can help carry the torch.

EDIT: Online share price at our co-op site will be adjusted once Thomas can get back online. With these new slightly higher prices (with an earlier delivery), Please feel free to adjust your reservation numbers if you had a prior reservation.

I've made 4 KNC Day1/Day2 Jupiter orders available to the co-op, at slightly below my cost - should they decide to switch this over to a KNC group buy.

Thanks -Redacted-! At the moment, to keep things simple, we're only selling one miner and selling the others if/when we cross that bridge.

We're back in business for Round 5, with an even better discount and delivery window IMO.  Funny how that works out. Grin

92 below cost shares available!

Please see the #1 post on this thread for updated details and responsibilities for this true co-operative Round 5 for discounted KnC Jupiter miners which should be shipping very, very shortly if the updates out of Sweden are correct.

That's great to know! I'm even getting an offer to buy out the whole R1 GB so that the B1 R1 upgrade can be secured as a certainty.

We'd work out a deal with the orig. share owners that they could still buy back their share at-cost all the way up until the upgrade ships (sometime in Dec.) so that:

1) The co-op isn't kept from being able to take advantage of the limited quantity B1 upgrade promotion.

2) Yet the original buyer retains the option to pay for the $43 per Upgrade Share up until the upgrade ships.

==

I think it's fair, promotes speed in us being able to take advantage of the promo, and it still protects the original share buyer's rights.

Thoughts?
