I don't know what's happenning with KRAKEN... It's the third time (that I have NOTICED) that I had limit orders placed from days before that ARE NOT EXECUTED when the price cross and pass my limit price. [snip] Anyone else on the same boat? Same thing happened to me this last spike. I only noticed because you brought it up. Going to investigate. I am still waiting for a reply about a limit buy at $124X that I still have on my order book and should have executed in one dump that hapenned and cross it. I am requesting they honor my order at their cosst (which is increasing every day that the prices raises higher) yet I haven't received ANY reply. I don't even know how much money I have lost with this behaviour because it could have hapenned more than this THREE times I have noticed. Yeah, I know, I should not be using Kraken anymore... but there are not so many "reliable" (?) exchanges and I prefer to have my trading funds distributed. The ONLY exchange I have never had a single problem is Bitstamp. Back in 2013 I was waiting for a correction too when price went from 10$ to like 50$ and than above 100$. Still not happend...  I'm still waiting for the double digits I was promised in 2014. |

The website has been running very slow today. I also get gateway timeouts from time to time. Charts are practically impossible to use. On the other hand the status page ( https://status.kraken.io ) shows like everything is running fine. |

I guess so. But isn't it a crime to get paid on torrents. I mean the governments are ignoring the seeders on the piracy issue because they are not monetarily benefited. If they are benefited, Each seeder is committing a crime of piracy for personal gains. And more will be encouraged to do so.

Yes. This functionality is at the core of his cryptocurrency. Instead of POW, POS, etc... it will be utilizing POB eg. Proof Of Bandwith. It will be integrated into Torrent clients so the actual data transmitted will not be a total waste. Obviously you'll need a FTTH connection or you can just forget about it.

Hey I have a question precisely on this topic: Does Kraken have a way to suggest a new cryptocurrency like the New Coin Request at Poloniex? I would be really interested but could not find anything about it on Kraken. Basically they operate like this (sorry Dargo, but it' totally true): 1. You make a recommendation with solid arguments. 2. They say no. 3. You ask why. 4. They give you a seriously weak counter argument. Examples: "We a focusing on other things right now", "We don't feel it's necessary right now", etc... 5. Some time goes by... 6. Then one of two things happen: a: nothing b: they add the feature you requested bragging about how they came up with it on their own. Examples (that I personally suggested a long time ago (2014) and was promptly dismissed): - flipping the BTC/LTC pair to LTC/BTC (like every other exchange had, and now Kraken also) - maker/taker fee structure Recently Dash. People were requesting it like crazy, but Kraken said no. Then out of the blue they add it saying on their blog: "You know what, we just decided to add Dash. We think it's a cool thing. The developers are really happy about it. Here's what they have to say....". |

I've never seen the price just sort of wait around after so much rallying before.
Leads me to conclude that we are indeed just consolidating. Doesn't seem likely that you'd run all the way up to these new heights just to kind of stay there. Either we lose a bunch of it or we keep going.

It states: Market Cap $24,284,744 15,138 BTC Volume (24h) $340,643 212.34 BTC Circulating Supply 94,703,580 ARK Total Supply 125,953,580 ARK  ?? Somebody has a clue? Yeah, that's the total supply of Ark tokens. It's all known. 125 mil were created in the genesis block. They sold just under 94mil in the ICO. |
