881  Other / Beginners & Help / Would there be any interest in investing BTC for good return? on: December 08, 2013, 09:07:41 AM
I, along with a few business partners, are currently in the process of setting up a service offering high interest for clients wishing to invest BTC with us.

It will work like this:

You invest from 0.5 - 5 BTC and we guarantee a return of 5% a month paid monthly with the option of cashing out your original investment with only 5 working days notice.

Our website is nearly complete and we will offer a very personal service (to invest with us you have to call us by phone and you would have a personal account manager you can call 24/7 etc).

Some of the main drawbacks we're envisaging at the moment are actually making people understand that this is a legitimate business. We would have a maximum fund at any one time and would go all out to show potential clients that they could invest their BTC without any concern.

Firstly, would anyone be interested in this?

Secondly, would you automatically think 'hang on they're just going to run away with my BTC'? - To put to this we will obviously not be an anonymous entity, we have nothing to hide.

Thirdly, would you feel comfortable calling someone on the telephone to invest BTC and developing a professional business relationship with them or do you use BTC to avoid this?

Any opinions would be most appreciated.

882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Perfect time for Anoncoin! on: December 07, 2013, 09:27:24 AM
I believe that in light of the current news now is a perfect time for a more widespread adoption of Anoncoin. In my opinion ANC is priced way below its true value at the moment and now is a perfect time to buy in with your downtrodden BTC.

I can see Anoncoin doubling in value or more by years end so would make a solid investment.

Cryptsy is the best exchange to get ANC - definitely study the charts and you'll see that an up trend is more than likely on the cards!

Just view the Anoncoin site:

https://anoncoin.net//

Say's what the devs are trying to do to keep the coin truly anonymous.

885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Problem of Withdrawal from BTCE on: December 06, 2013, 03:26:59 PM
I managed to withdraw BTC two days ago however it was only a small amount. Won't be going back to BTC-e which is a real shame as if they did as they should it would be a fantastic platform.
886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $1000 to invest. Bit, Lite, or Peer? on: December 06, 2013, 01:22:30 PM
I'd suggest Anoncoin. 4.2 million total means they will be less around so if they do become popular they could rise in value substantially.

As already advised, spread your investment over a few coins to avoid a disaster!
887  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the best coins to hold for future on: December 05, 2013, 01:42:31 PM
I'd say Anoncoin looks like a good bet - I like the idea that there won't be as many so in theory it could increase.

Just my 0.00002 BTC!
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mining Anoncoin on: December 04, 2013, 07:42:32 PM
I've being looking around at some alternative currencies and quite fancy the idea of Anoncoin, coupled with the fact there are not going to be many it seems like a good bet going forward.

My question is; does anyone know how to go about mining Anoncoin and the best GPU to use. Also does the rest of the PC need to be 'good' or could I get a cheap PC and just put in the best GPU?

Cheers
889  Other / Beginners & Help / Opinions on alt currencies? on: December 03, 2013, 06:16:50 PM
With all the new currencies there are what will be the effect on Bitcoin?

If we had 1000 different crypto currencies all vying for attention would this dilute the value of Bitcoin are would they likely die away after time?

Any opinions?

For small amounts you can use: www.virwox.com using PayPal or card, change for SSL or SLL (can't remember name) then in to BTC, you can withdraw BTC to your wallet although it can take 48 hours for new users. The limits increase with time.

The fees are high but it would get you started.
891  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How safe is BTCe for trading, depositing etc...? on: December 03, 2013, 05:37:39 PM
I was in the same boat, deposited a small amount in BTC did and trade an withdrew in BTC and all went OK, would not feel comfortable with putting more in after reading what I've read in the past few days! It's a shame as looks the best option!

Like many I hold some BTC and day trade when I have any free time. The issue I have found is actually getting money in and out?

If I make say $30 worth of BTC in one day and want to convert and get the money in a safe way I may be looking at receiving only $15 after fees to convert and withdrawal costs. There must be a better way?

Of course , cash every 30 days:).

True - I just don't feel confident leaving any amount of money worth having in the guard of the exchanges......

So you have "some" BTC there but you don't trust the exchange to hold an additional 500-1000 usd.
Isn't that funny?

Funny? I wouldn't say so. I hold about 0.15 BTC in an exchange and switch between LTC making on average 5% a time, a few times would give $30, again on average. If I loose $150, well never mind. $500 + starts to hurt especially when you've done a lot of trading to earn it.

896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Here , Am i too late for bitcoin ? on: December 03, 2013, 08:39:44 AM
I wouldn't say it's too late - I'd advise day trading if you know what you're doing......

Wondering if anyone has any BTC that they're looking to sell?
899  Other / Beginners & Help / Cryptsy - Any Good?? on: November 30, 2013, 10:08:55 AM
Wondering if there are any long time users of Cryptsy that have any pointers to trading with them?

I think, because they don't get involved with USD, they may be a lot more trustworthy than other exchanges, what does anyone think?

900  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Want to Buy LTC? on: November 29, 2013, 04:54:00 PM
Thanks for the suggestions but I'm looking for someone who wants to sell LTC - I don't want to use an exchange.....
