Main account stolen
No access , probably mail changed
With new security update , pin is going to be broken to.
Support tickets are being deleted on my new account , all of sudden can't chat anymore .

New security update with phone number doesn't help apparently
Hack
Tickets got deleted
Muted on chat
IRC channel changed with register after I told what happened there
Pin broken
Finally hacker got what he want

All these "random" events

My SCC account it only worth about 50 cents, thats likely the reason why I can still login and I can see my kh on the dashboard. A lot of scam sites will kill the accounts with much more BTC in them. The accounts with a tiny amount of BTC are left intact in hopes that the user deposits more BTC.

Not always true.
I have about 12btc in there and can login fine and see my khs and remaining btc balance.

I am able to login too and my balance and khs are as they were when the sitr got hacked. But i am only a small investor there too. I have about 6 dollars there.

Sweet. That poor guy above you, man he's fucked. Wink

Can we make bets on withdrawls?

How many would you say would be able to withdraw all their BTC if more than 10 BTC?

I call BS on the whole thing, tick tick tick, we will soon see.

Soon....

Inspirational Quotes from Steve Jobs :
Quote
"That’s been one of my mantras — focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”

Colossuscoin.org and Colossuscointalk.org websites are online since October 14, 2013
Our Lead Dev {Crestington} is permanently working on AWESOME new features and updates

We should add permanent seed nodes to the ColossusCoin2.0 network. Permanent nodes are run on the network in order to ensure that connectivity is easy and does not take much scanning for nodes.
Hard Coded "Seed" Addresses would probably be the best solution-The client contains hard coded IP addresses that represent Colossuscoin2 nodes. These addresses are only used as a last resort, if no other method has produced any addresses at all. When the loop in the connection handling thread ThreadOpenConnections2() sees an empty address map, it uses the "seed" IP addresses as backup. There is code is move away from seed nodes when possible. The presumption is that this is to avoid overloading those nodes. Once the local node has enough addresses (presumably learned from the seed nodes), the connection thread will close seed node connections.

The only way I would leave the project is if I were physically unable to work on it. Sudo and I have been a part of the project for a long time now and heave learnt so much, I spent some time and money during the 2014 year learning about different stuff, paid some developers for help from my own pocket. The costs for CV2 have been very little and still trying to bring down costs by learning and doing the work myself instead of paying others to do it from sale of Coins because it's better to let the market work for itself.

I only have two projects, ColossusCoin2 and PayCon both of which share the same base code (although with different inflation, Block times) so working on one means I am working on both. If you would like to see what I mean by this, you can take the sourcecode of either and lay it over top of the other.

A little about simplicity - I always believe in simplicity and the solution to any problem should be as simple as possible because when you try to complicate things there is more chance for error so that is what I try to achieve.

The last week or so I have been working on a windows build kit, it has been quite frustrating but worth it to learn about it.

Thanks vegasguy for sharing this, it's much appreciated.

I wish it were free software though :S
884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I created altcoin, how can I keep mining in order to get wallet sync on: June 29, 2015, 03:56:06 AM
thanks。actually x11 is only pow period, after all the pow coins mined, only pos coins left, during this pos period, I cannot use x11 miner any more, it has to be something else to generate new blocks, how to mine in pure pos?

Mining would rely on the number of Blocks and number of Coins in each Block.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 28, 2015, 11:14:06 PM
So how would it be possible for Scrypt.cc to be able to negotiate lower energy prices when Brazil has approximately triple the energy costs as USA with the recent hikes in energy prices? http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-business/electricity-bills-to-increase-by-70-percent-in-rio-and-sao-paulo/#

You may also combine this with the anonymous newbie account, no pictures of any mining equipment, and the recent "hack" which would make it pretty much impossible for them to repay all customers. The name Marcelo Santos doesn't really mean anything, might as well be Jesus as there is nothing to check it against.

Completely agree, just pointing out that Curitiba is not in the states discussed on the news you've posted (Rio and São Paulo); Curitiba is in Paraná (the state where I live and where the situation is even worse since not only the federal government raised the power bill nationwide, the state government has raised it a little more in Paraná).

At least one thing on this website has a high probability of being real: the admin is indeed brazilian. Some people have claimed that he is american / indian because of IP tracking results, but today he answered a message on S.CC's "trollbox" (chat) in perfect portuguese, even using a slang.

Curitiba itself wasn't really the point as the general vicinity gives an idea of power costs. Would power costs between neighboring countries be radically different? No it would not because it's affected by environmental factors such as weather and if you are mining, that generates a great deal of heat in one of the hottest countries in the world. You could not achieve less power costs than US, Canada, or even Russia because the national average in Brazil is twice that of those countries and in order to keep all the rigs from literally melting in the heat, the cooling alone would make it uncompetitive.

I mean send coins automaticly to other account.

With Windows or Linux?

Are there these both possibilities? Could you explain shortly both please?
Thank you very much.

For Linux it's pretty easy in that you can create a bash script using your terminal/daemon

***You can navigate to your ColossusCoin2 directory

cd ColossusCoin2/src

***Then you can create your script as whatever name you want, in this case we can call it send.sh

nano send.sh

***It will then open up a blank file and you can copy in your script, in this case we can have it execute 30 times, send 5000 Coins every 600 seconds

#!/bin/bash

for n in {1..30}
do
./ColossusCoin2d sendtoaddress ChgfiA4ijs5aXt9iEpFnKwMSzMVLyMTk5e 5000
sleep 600
done

***Then press ctrl+o to save the file

***Then we want to create it as an executable file

chmod +x send.sh

***Then we can run the script in the background using nohup

nohup ./send.sh &

***You can also layer the addresses to send to and even send random amounts within a range like so, in this case it would execute sending to the three addresses 30 times (90 times in total), with a minimum of 1000 plus a random amount between 1 and 2000.

#!/bin/bash

for n in {1..30}
do
./ColossusCoin2d sendtoaddress CtW2iA4ijs5aXt9iEpFnKwMSzMVLyMTk5e $[ ( $RANDOM % 2000 ) + 1000 ]
sleep $[ ( $RANDOM % 27 ) + 60 ]s
./ColossusCoin2d sendtoaddress CCbm3Ez7QQfrErkkwo2duZCq82NJepDvUG $[ ( $RANDOM % 2000 ) + 1000 ]
sleep $[ ( $RANDOM % 45 ) + 72 ]s
./ColossusCoin2d sendtoaddress CMZgRztjFPquEsAGk2rAHSqRhzvZB4TX5S $[ ( $RANDOM % 2000 ) + 1000 ]
sleep $[ ( $RANDOM % 56 ) + 63 ]s
done

For Windows you can use an Auto Transfer program I've had for ages

https://mega.co.nz/#!IlFFxCxB!oKh8nlNcScZJ-UZf5t3u_LhE0iOHfoajs-pS9Gh_ImA

With this you would make sure you have rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 in your config file and in the fields you would put in the rpc username and password you have set in your config file, the rpc port number and 127.0.0.1 as your IP (localhost)

Hope this helps

Think he was referring to Luckycoin.

I believe it was nodecoin. I got stuck with the windows build on a 64 bit system so ended up installing a 32 bit on my other system to build today so will see if that does the trick.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 28, 2015, 11:52:06 AM
Ok, class, anyone feeling a little unwell can excuse themselves and go see your therapist about learning to accept loss. While you're there, ask him to teach you some critical thinking skills.

For the rest of you, this is gonna be FUN!!!!

850GH/s of Scrypt
-12GH/s - 'Unknown' on LTC
-28GH/s - The entire network hashrate of the top 8 Scrypt coins
---------
810GH/s

We now look further down the list of Scrypt coins, to those that aren't necessarily more profitable to mine than LTC but, because so many of you little darlings want to pretend that your beloved, 'Admin' has some super-clever way to mine less profitable coins on the sly and then sell them during tiny market-value increases that *might* lift them above LTC, we'll indulge you:

So we're going to allow for PLENTY of wiggle-room here and go pretty far down this list. Digibyte shows a global Scrypt hash of 260Mh/s according to their own stats.

When we add up ALL the above network hashrates (omitting LTC obv.) we get: 14.52GH/s

Ouchie.

But, hang on, maybe something magical happens when you do the sums? Let's see:

850GH/s of Scrypt
-12GH/s - 'Unknown' on LTC
-28GH/s - The entire network hashrate of the top 8 Scrypt coins
-15GH/s - The entire network hashrate of the remaining top 20 Scrypt coins
---------
795GH/s

OH NOES!!!!

What does that mean? ARGH!!! The sky is actually fucking falling!

So, kiddlies, even if we pretend *real* fuckin' hard that scrypt.cc is mining ALL of the ENTIRE top 20 Scrypt coin networks, we're still left with 795GH/s of mining that . . .well. . .huh?

B. . .Bu. . .But. . .Marcelo!

Class is excused.

So how would it be possible for Scrypt.cc to be able to negotiate lower energy prices when Brazil has approximately triple the energy costs as USA with the recent hikes in energy prices? http://riotimesonline.com/brazil-news/rio-business/electricity-bills-to-increase-by-70-percent-in-rio-and-sao-paulo/#

I was just sarcastic you guys already make drama tjeezzz..

and by the way where did you get that much time and energy to write each page something pfff.. can't deal with your guys
have better things to do.

Good Bitcoin investments don't take a lot of babysitting and leave one with some free time. See how many people are questioning if Hashnest is really mining, or if they're really in China, etc. If you invest in legit mining or Bitcoin funds, you don't have to constantly worry and watch to make sure you're coming out ahead. Kind of nice, actually.

Normally I would garden or something but it's been crap weather, and Netflix gets old, so why not have fun here?

I like pookie, he says the cutest things.

I found this, maybe is can help? This is supposed to be their business or possibly related.

http://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=pt&u=http://www.adaobraga.com.br/brasil-tecnologia-da-informacao-ltda-o-golpe-do-boleto-facultativo/&prev=search

No actual listing of "MKT information technology" anywhere, and if it's located in Curitiba Brazil I can't imagine how it could compete effectively anyways since Brazil is one of the hottest countries in the world.

...You still can't withdraw your BTC. Might be a bit early to call this one a win. And I don't care about your money. It's fucking entertaining beyond belief to watch people motivated entirely by greed ignore facts of their existence. Carry on sir.

I fail to see the entertainment beyond belief.
Like stated, no children here.
Thanks for worrying so much about our cash.

That's what makes it so damn funny.

No, You're the one that fails to see the bigger picture.
Like stated; there are no children here.
In your mind you're a badass ponzi robocop.
But in reality you're just making an idiot of yourself.
Throw a bit of envy in there, you get ThePhwner and his crew.

Then please explain the bigger picture.

Oh, random question, how much did you get paid from Scrypt.CC today? Or yesterday? Or past 3 days? I'm curious...

I don't paint pictures, I respect that everyone has their own opinions and choices.
You work more then my accountant, I'm thinking of putting you on my payroll.
The last payment I received from SCC was on the 17th.
The withdraw I made on the 20th did not make it to the blockchain.

Hey I thought I'd do some research on this Marcelo Santos and Scrypt.cc

I could find something about a domain in Brazil and Cloud hosting in California, there was no contact email or phone number, name is likely fake.

Seems as if people were losing money around April to some "phishing attack" and also found a how to video explaining Scrypt.cc but it seemed dumb, the guy was saying you need to mine Coins in order to get Bitcoin to give it to Scrypt.cc in order to make ROI in 6-7 months? The April hack caused a scare and price dropped but it was supposed to be twice as profitable starting in June?

Scrypt mining 850 GHS on a 1000 GHS network? doesn't make sense.

So the site's back up and the Scryptards claim victory because they can login and see their holdings.

Fun fact, people have been able to log in to LTCGear and see their share holdings for months now. How many of them, have gotten paid?

Payments will resume in a few days.
Start thinking of a new catch line.
Also tomorrow's faucet payout, get on it.

Funny you keep referring to faucets... don't recall ever using them. As another poster pointed out, if you're not constantly investing in idiotic scams like this, you're not ever in a position of trying to recover and having the reek of desperation for Bitcoins you exude. Maybe payments will resume in a few days. Not really my concern since legit investments like owning your own hardware and Bitmain's Hashnest don't tend to suffer inexplicable outages with huge losses of coin. But go ahead keep reassuring yourself that all is well and that me being broke and jealous is your real issue. That's fine with me. I know where all my holdings are right this second and could easily liquidate any of them with no fear. Can you say the same? With certainty and fact. No, no you cannot. So good luck with that.

Thanks for worrying so much about my money.
I didn't know it was that important to you, but don't worry.
I got it covered, bro.
PS: PS3's do go pretty quick on Ebay and paypal handles fear pretty well.

How does that make any sense?

So who owns Scrypt.cc?

You still haven't answered my question and you should probably know this so you can file for damages.
892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 28, 2015, 01:29:36 AM
What's funny about thing is that most of the people defending this are newbie accounts, who have most of their post in this thread,
which makes them either a part of it, in denial due to their money slipping away, or they're afraid there will be no more people investing after accusations like these,
which will make the pyramid tumble down.

cheers

It makes me wonder if most are just sock puppet accounts, or some are sock puppet accounts created by the scrypt.cc people and would post "Hey I got all my money, things are safe, buy buy buy"

Real question, who runs Scrypt.cc?

Just goes to show how little you know about the site and the current issue going on.
You're looking like a sock puppet yourself.

Well I don't have any money in it, just came across the thread today since I just assumed it was probably a scam.

You have money in it, who owns it? That should be a question YOU should know.

895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: June 27, 2015, 07:58:09 PM
If Scrypt.cc was hacked then you guys are all screwed anyways regardless of whether or not they are allowing people to login or not, whether or not it is a scam or not because it would need to make that much in profit in order to be able to pay customers back.

So you invest $1000 into Scrypt.cc for them to mine for you, they hold on to your money and promise ROI in X amount of days and give you some numbers of how much Scrypt you are mining. The problem with this is they can just provide you with any numbers they want and they are holding your money so at any point in time they can just withdraw the Coins and tell people "opps we were hacked" and you can't do anything about it. Once "hacked" then you could allow a few people to login, pay out a small amount of people so they will tell others and make the price much cheaper than before so you have people "reinvesting" in order to make up their losses. Is the amount of Scrypt mining they are doing provable? not in the slightest and by the math people with real knowledge are providing it cannot work.

Don't be a fool, listen to the Trolls and use your head. I think your money is gone but invest in it if you want, it's your money...

Hello Crestington!,
Please, could you upload anyplace to give us a compiled Colossus2d.exe?
It would be very good!
Thank you very much.

I have been working out my own build kit so I don't have to rely on others but currently stuck on the qrencode :S

Last few days I've been working a new job, still plugging away at it and asking for help, googling as much information as I can.

Exchange prizes inside the wallet?

Nice gimmik but not sure if needed the links to the exchanges are already there.

Just clicked the cex logo , nice spread @c-cex and maybe good time get some cheap con Wink

For cheap #3 whale

I think at the moment I am focusing on cleaning up minor bugs such as figuring out where that Bluish-White display bug is and also the memory issue I have been seeing (using more memory than it should) along with reducing orphans, after that I want to move on to some more complex stuff. Once I get the Windows build out of the way as well I may see about trying to compile on Mac as well and see how that goes. I used to have an iPhone if that helps but I think android is waaaayy better than iPhone.

I remember seeing a Coin that did a POS type lottery recently, so that may be something really good to add or focus more on how to parse addresses so that later on down the track we can reset the Blockchain with all the same balances in a CLAMS type of distribution.

When will wallet version 1 0 7 will be officially released and out of beta? Smiley
And downloadable not from dropbox.. Tongue

I have been working on building in Windows the last few days. I was caught a little off-guard in the sense that a few weeks ago I moved cities and then the restaurant I was working was/is opening a new restaurant here, the head chef and a few of the sous chefs asked me if I wanted to apply before I left so after a few weeks I did but started the very next day (3 days ago). The last few days we've been doing dry-runs, opening day is Tuesday so has kept me rather busy, next couple days I have off and as far as I can tell the only part I still need for my Windows build kit is the qrencode. I want to build for Windows myself so I can work out these minor issues, Linux is easy to build for but I don't want to have to rely on others to build for me.

I am wondering what gets a developper of benefits maintaining and programming new features to a coin?

I mean if there was no premine and the dev could grab some coins at the start ok, but in the long run the
Value depends on the dev implementing new features keeping the folks interested in the coin.
(Website hosting, Marketing,Programming)
Its like a real business with expenses which need to be coverd. And dont forget the Dev need a income for a living too. Huh

I mean its just easier to invest in existing coins
So what are their motives?
