881  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 20, 2021, 08:35:01 PM
Crypto currency round the world has come to stay, to foster growth in business and build trust among its users but most world leaders are head bent on tackling bitcoin by making difficult policies to affect its stability, but little do they know that this policies of theirs make bitcoin to become more influential among other crypto ,making it scarce and the most sought after crypto currency thereby making the few people that have it to hod and inflate the price to which ever amount they wish to sale on peer to peer bases...what do you think
I do get what you’re trying to say here, that when government bans bitcoin that a lot of people who owns then starts selling to for a higher price. Well, I won’t really say that applies much to what the market price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are going to be. Whether the government is doing what they are doing or not, the cryptocurrency market will always be growing as it has been doing for a very long time.

So, I don’t think the actions that the government is taking is going to be affecting the market that much. It’s even going to make people to be a lot wiser in how they’re trading their cryptocurrency.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never go below $50,000 again on: April 20, 2021, 08:19:58 PM
We're at the beginning of a years-long super cycle that is gonna shoot Bitcoin from $10k up to well into the the hundreds of thousands over the next few years, with no crypto winters during that growth. Retail is calmer less FOMOy, institutions are coming in and by definition are more wary and less FOMOy, and with Covid + money printing the narrative around Bitcoin has finally evolved from speculative get rich scheme to store of value gold 2.0.

For these reasons, Bitcoin will never go below $50k again, even if we get a decent crash at some point like most people expect based on past market cycles (and yes I've been in crypto during the two big crypto winters), the bottom still won't go under $50k. Do you agree? Hit the poll!
Even with such a big crash, we stayed above 50k, that should make at least some people happy right? I mean I am very happy about it, it is definitely something I really wanted for a long time. I can't say if that is the end of it, I can't say if we will ever go under 50k or not, maybe we will, maybe we won't, I wouldn't know it, nobody can "know" it, we just guess. However we could at least say that we are doing better right now and that is a very good thing.

This is why I think there is a chance that we do end up with something decent after this crash, we will probably go up, it looks quite good and it will be something valuable once again. I don't know if 64k+ will happen again very soon, but I think if we have a recovery, it will definitely happen eventually and when we go over and break the all time high price, it is going to be a bull run followed after that.
883  Economy / Economics / Re: Charlie Munger: "Bitcoin is an artificial substitute for Gold" on: April 20, 2021, 06:55:03 PM
I have to say this is both not a bad thing, and also I understand why they did not care for bitcoin as well. Remember these are 90 year old people, they are too old and they buy stocks like gilette, coca cola, apple, like very known and widely used stuff, those are stocks we all know that will continue forever, there is a very slight chance they could bankrupt, it is obvious that 99.99% chance they will just keep growing bigger and bigger.

They never really took a risk, they just keep working and working and working just to find something that is globally used and a huge corporation, that is not really a big smart decision to make a profit, and his return rates are not big enough to actually deserve him the recognition but since he did that for nearly 70 years he gets recognition. Long story short it would be contrary to anything they have ever done if they invested into bitcoin.
884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: UNREALIZED PROFIT IS NOT YET YOUR OWN on: April 20, 2021, 03:50:10 PM
trading and investing are sweet especially when its bringing a positive result where your portfolio is green and rising. the ecstacy of this events drives people crazy and they begin to build hope for maximum profit. human will never be satisfied especially in terms of making money because everyone always want more. however the purpose of profit taking is to have reserves to buy when market is down and to settle your offline and personal needs. taking profits cant be overemphazised. dont sell all your tokens at once, sell in batches and buy back some if there is need to. but dont procastinate profit taking else you might be forced to sell in loss when dips and urgent needs arise like some people did yesterday.
Lol some people are going to tell you that you lack patience and that’s why you’re not able to hold all your assets while price is still going up, and they will be convincing you that the price still have a long way to go.

I tell people that whenever they think the profit is enough for them, it’s best that they sell it instead of continuing holding till they end up losing everything. It’s best that you have gotten something, instead of not getting anything at all. This is why it is important that we have other things that we are doing, so that way when your money is leaving here it is going to another investment that will grow your wealth.
885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 20, 2021, 03:28:23 PM
FOMO is one of the big enemy that needs to be conquered if you want to succeed in trading and investing. alot of people usually neglect investing at the early stage but only wake up to join the train when its halfway or near the destination. the oppression from friends and mates is also one of the things that make people fomo. thats why its always important to keep your emotions under control. dont be oppressed by anyones profit, you will make your own if you do the right thing.
No matter what you’re not going to be able to stop FOMO, it’s something that is always going to happen all the time, but as an individual when you discover how bad it is to FOMO, it is then up to you to try and avoid it so that you don’t be losing your money on the trade due to it. Although there are times you will fomo and still make money out of it, it could be just by luck. Then it’s always good that we study the market and make sure that every investment we are making are being made at the right time, that way we will be HODL till when it’s right for us to sell our assets.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: Splitting the Baby, and other Operations of Fate: the Fate and Economics Thread on: April 19, 2021, 04:46:39 PM
Meehn this is a really long article, it would have been better if you kind of summarized everything that this post is all about at the top for those wouldn’t be able to read this two paged post lol. I was even confused at some point because I can’t really get how king Solomon ordering his guard to cut a baby into half  related to what you were saying here.

But anyway, as you said, things are all about fate, I get that that’s what you’re trying to say, and sure I do believe that a lot of things that are happening are happening because that’s how they are meant to be, though I still believe that it is mainly up to us to decide, but anyway, you’re still right.
887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Million BNB Burnt today on: April 19, 2021, 12:37:29 PM
All that burning and price didn't actually improve, though! I mean, of course now markets are recovering and alts aren't far behind in improving from their weekend standing.

But BNB has always been burning supply regularly. Not sure if the effect will always be evident with every new burn.
BNB is trading near 0.0092 BTC right now and I guess that has become possible because of continuous burning process. They already got real life usage for BNB coin and they are regularly emphasizing about holding BNB coins for VIP status for the traders whoa re active in binance exchange and when they are doing multiple methods to get more value for BNB then I guess it will someday beat ethereum at least in BTC values (currently ethereum is trading near 0.04BTC which is 4x more than BNB) if you are calculating marketcap is something completely different one.
888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: April 19, 2021, 07:47:47 AM
Yap this coin is so crazy and what can i say congratulation to all of you who getting profit from this coin. If the doge price can hit $1, he will take 2nd place from eth.
Yeah, reaching the second place in coinmarketcap would be definitely a very big achievement for this "memecoin". But we are talking about more than 1000x growth in two years of time span that must be really a crazy thing but I am not saying that would be impossible. When there are billionaires behind the scenes to keep pumping then anything would be possible.

Right now dogecoin is trading around 630 satoshi and I guess this time as well it is going to set new ATH regardless of where bitcoin prices are trading because, yesterday all altcoins and bitcoin was trading in red but only dogecoin showed green.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 18, 2021, 07:04:44 PM
Trading is trading is one of the and the surest ways to taking profit especially by

1. buying ipo/ico
2. buying coins and token before token burning
I agree these days burning process has become a prominent one in this crypto world; I guess binance platform is consistently doing that to keep attracting investors. In some sense, it is somehow equivalent to halving but not in future supply but for circulating supply.

When there is negative growth in supply that definitely will lead to price appreciation then this could be one of the easiest way to make profits in short term.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have $150,000 US dollars and my target is a 10x gain. Stop me going all in now on: April 18, 2021, 06:57:58 AM
I have a few specific questions and I know it's just your opinions.

1.  Starting today on April 10, 2021 if I invested 150k in bitcoin, how much do the gurus expect me to have in 1, 2, 5, and 10 years?  Like would any idiot who just invested today and didn't sell expect a 5x increase within the next 10 years?
2.  I would use dollar cost averaging, but over what time horizon?  Invest 150k over the next six months?  Or just invest it all today since we all know it's going up?
3.  I could withdraw the old retirement fund and get the initial investment up to 300k.  Would you go all in using that?  I would not have much of a backup plan for retirement if this is the case, but like I said I have a high risk profile.  I do believe this is once in a lifetime.
4. If I want to pursue some alt coins, and again, I have a high risk profile, what % mix would you recommend?  33% alt-coins and 66% bitcoin, or 50-50, etc?
1. If you're ready to hold for up to 10 years, then I believe you can easily get 10x returns for your capital. Unfortunately most people are entering with that much plan but when they are seeing 2x or 4x growth, they book profits and exit by not believing in to the actual potential of bitcoins.

2. We are the mid of one strong bull run. You may go all-in at once or DCA in next 2 or 3 months. But, entering slowly up to 6 months may lead you to lose most opportunities.

3. Honestly I will not do that. I believe $150k must be already a big money for anyone to risk.

4. Personally I like to suggest you not to go for altcoins. Investing with all 100% of your capital will not disappoint you. If you still hesitate and too conscious about the diversification then go for 90% in bitcoins and 10% in altcoins.
891  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's next after Coinbase IPO? on: April 16, 2021, 03:46:35 PM
Oh, goodness! I feel so regret to hesitate to buy Coinbase stock after it launches. Could it be further increased?

https://www.coindesk.com/btig-initiates-coinbase-coverage-500-price-target

After the successful IPO of Coinbase, do you think crypto exchanges like Binance, Kraken, Houbi or wallets like Trustwallet, Ledger, Electrum or Snapbots will do the same? If that's a real trend, I'll be ready for the next money hunt!
I am sure that if they get to a level where they can do it, they are sure going to go for it. And as for Binance I believe that they have reached the level to be able to do that, but it is up to them as to whether they want to go public or not. Then another thing I think we should understand; he’s Coinbase did it, and that’s good and we are happy about it, it’s some kind of big news for the cryptocurrency community, but that Coinbase did it doesn’t mean that other cryptocurrency platforms are going to be doing the same thing, they can all decide to be doing something different, and making their own impacts in different ways.
892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs Investing (The major differences) on: April 15, 2021, 10:39:42 PM
The thing with investments is that their returns are not as huge and as for trading, the returns can be more than what you’re going to be getting from investments by the time you finish your trading for the year, but there are risks.
The level of return must be depending on multiple factors and it is really unfair to call all the investment returns are small. For example, returns from bitcoin holding will be huge compared to any altcoins but there will be differences when the time period of holding changes; it means altcoins may bring big returns when you're holding for long periods and bitcoin returns will be small if you are trading or from short-term holding.

If you want risk free returns then you should go for the only investments because trading cannot be coming up with no risks but investments are.
893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto trading signal work or not? on: April 15, 2021, 10:26:46 PM
Some trading signal works and some are not beacuse all trading signal provider not experienced person.
It’s depend on you if you join good trading signal group then you get good profitable call if your admin experienced.

Now time too many scam signal group so find genuine group and at first use free signal then you will know how much work their paid group.
Even we are buying signals from experienced traders, there will be no guarantee those signals will be working all the time. Because, sometimes providers will be sending signal in delay which will be not making any profit for us as we will be missing out perfect entry. So, timing must be very important in trading and in making use of signals as well.

But, signal providers are not considering the importance of timely signal which is really annoying and even after paying subscription fee we are facing such problem in most cases.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin Price Prediction on: April 15, 2021, 10:05:49 PM
Dogecoin can still go up as it is somewhat similar to all this gamestop stuff. DOGE is a real community effort and that seems to have value as people want to be part of the herd when it gets moving. So once it gets moving up it is like self fulfilling prophecy as everybody jumps in and wants to participate in the ride thereby driving the price up.
Right now, dogecoins are into another heavy round of pumping which makes it value more than 18 cents. In BTC values, doecoins are current trading around 280 satoshi from todays levels of 210 satoshi; I guess dogecoins are slowly moving forward to the level of $1 as well, who knows?

I am not seeing Elon musk is twitting or releasing any statements on dogecoins still it is getting pumped like most other altcoins which is really surprising me. I wish I would have held all my dogecoins till today but I cashed them out some 2 years back itself.
895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there such thing as a “safe strategy”? on: April 15, 2021, 09:38:34 PM
There is nothing that can ever be guaranteed in crypto trading. If you look at trends then the safest strategy would be to buy bitcoin or some top altcoins and wait for the price to go up. Buying when the price of a coin is at an all time high is not the wises move because we could have a market crash and you will have to wait a few years to make a profit.
Always the safe strategy could be buying at low and then selling at high; but many people are simply ignoring this because this sounds like very basic and normal as per our regular life incident. But, it is all about holding because buying at cheaper be possible when you will be ready for continuous watching to spot out the possible low price level and this will be true for catching possible ATH as well. So, then we are sticking with basics of trading then that will definitely lead to safe trading.
896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ultimately long time holders are enjoying the real BEAUTY! on: April 15, 2021, 09:22:46 PM
If you hold the right coins, then yes. So many people are holders and hold some worthless bag of some shitcoin they were excited about in the past. There have been quite sophisticated scams in the past regrettably. Of some coins you better get rid right away, but the big ones will prevail. Excited to see where ETH might go next.
Yes, holding shitcoins for long-term does not have any sense. So, when we are investing we must need to do due diligence so that they could find the right coins easily which will definitely prevent later regrets. I am seeing lots of people are investing into random coins and then losing all their capital.

Definitely holding bitcoin and few other altcoins like ethe/bnb will be getting us huge profit over the long period of holding. But people due to lack of patience they are selling them quickly for small profits and then trying to re-enter but mostly they are not getting cheaper prices than they have sold.
897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Going to buy 5000$ of tokens at their pre-sale on: April 15, 2021, 08:59:05 PM
I'm not a financial advisor but if I consider current market, I will suggest you to buy popular coin to generate from your investment. You can participate on STC token sale and here is a great opportunity to get big profit. I hope you won't miss this opportunity to buy more STC before the token sale end.
I agree. If we are really caring about not losing our capital than we should go for buying popular coins rather than getting into something which is completely unknown and it is still in pre-sale.

I am not honestly getting this type of people like OP. They are voluntarily taking more risk and then will come again here to share about their sad story. If we really want to care about our capital then we should go for popular coins so that generating good profits will be easier.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Low volume coins good for investment now? on: April 15, 2021, 08:19:03 PM
buying coins with low volume is too risky and maybe between 100 coins only 1 coin will suddenly experience a pump, so it's better to stay in a safe position, I mean keep investing in coins that have large volumes to avoid losing a lot of money
Note: many coins with low volume suddenly is dead
Not just 100 coins; only out of 1000 coins, there would be a possibility to find 1 good coin with low volume.
Low volume must be the significant indicator to avoid that coin. Because, any potential coin will be having good volume so that it means many investors and traders are interested on that coin and hence it is getting decent volume. Personally I will never touch any low volume coins because in my opinion investing into such coin is completely suicidal.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what way to take profit ? on: April 15, 2021, 05:47:06 PM
What methods are there for take profit ?

in my opinion this method is good :

1. buy ipo/ico
2. buy coins and token before token burning
3. buy top volume coins
4. buy bitcoin befor halving
That’s depending on what you think you can do. You know very well that if you’re going to be waiting for the next halving, it’s not going to be anytime soon. But there is the possibility that the price of bitcoin will continue going up and will reach another ATH of $70,000 before this year ends, and when that happens your investment now is going to be getting you more, that will be more than ten percent.

If you’re going to be buying ICOs at this time you have got to be careful and know the ICO you’re investing is the right one for sure. If you’re not careful with ICOs you’re going to be losing your money.
900  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigeria will overtake India in P2P on: April 15, 2021, 07:07:12 AM
It is no secret that India is currently leading P2P among emerging markets or countries traded bitcoin in a restricted environment. Countries as India, Ghana, the Philippines, Argentina, Mexico and Egypt are all relying majorly on peer-to-peer, my thought therefore is that with the ban from open dealings and transactions from bitcoin in Nigerian banks , Nigeria may overtake the India record of leading the P2P emerging market in a year or two.

One reason to point to this is the Nigerian crypto population which showed in Nigeria position as number two in bitcoin market.
I think the data varies from one p2p platform to another, but if we’re going to base this on a particular, let’s say Paxful which became the largest p2p platform in the world, then Nigeria is already the number two largest p2p bitcoin market in the world, while the US stays as the number one.

So India is not the second largest market, and moreover I don’t think I have heard about India being the second largest, I have always thought another country was the second largest market there is.But we can’t be hundred percent certain about these stats until we have gotten stats from lots of p2p exchanges and then combine the results to verify it.
