881  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 19, 2023, 08:43:37 PM
When you're starting out, everything is not smooth but believe us when someone experienced how HODLING really is. They'll say that it's one of the best, effortless and profitable strategy that one can do. He can even acclaim that he's a real investor with that strategy.
I do understand why it's not smooth even if many experienced says that it is. And that is because when you're holding, there's a lot of temptation and it depends on you on how you're going to overcome the FUD that will push you to panic sell and lose your grip on it. But if you listen to the real ones who held for a very long time, you won't get affected by such anymore.
882  Economy / Economics / Re: When Was the Last Time you Came Across a Positive Economic News? on: November 19, 2023, 10:08:38 AM
I find myself pretty bothered by everything going on in the world. Have you ever noticed how it's so hard to come across positive news about the economy, whether it's in our own country or globally? It's genuinely disheartening. Every time we read, watch, or discuss something related to the economy, it's all about inflation, recession, debt, bankruptcy, companies downsizing, laying off hundreds of workers, shareholders firing CEOs, and the company's stock taking a nosedive. Can't we just catch a break and have some good economic news for once?
Don't forget about wars and territory disputes. You're right that we need to take a break from these negative incidents in the world but I think that if there are even good news, we don't notice them for how little they are. That's why I have noticed like a month ago when I always get to watch replays of news globally and checking on what's happening with the news and current events but just as how you are disappointed with them, it's actually what it is and they were not lovely to watch and hear. But with what I know just as how this market works, if we're at the bottom this time then by tomorrow we might be at the top and the same goes with the economic news, it may be down for the most countries but there will be a time that it shall recover.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Timely Halving Event and Bitcoin ETF a Positive Bombshell on: November 18, 2023, 11:23:03 PM
However, Bitcoin halving events have a weakening effect with each cycle, so Bitcoin ETFs have a larger impact on BTC than "halving" events when accounting for inflows and outflows.
I beg to differ but it's always halving that has the huge impact for Bitcoin's price increase. The contribution of miners and the effects of the rewards that's been halved on them are just few of the many factors that can make the price and demand higher. I think with that weak effect that you're saying is based on the price reaction of Bitcoin. Like what we have on 2016-2017 and then 2018-2021. The difference are greatly far from each other but let's just take that the effect was there and no doubt that halving has always been impactful regardless whether there's another hype or contributor from factors like ETF and from the financial institutions.
884  Economy / Exchanges / Re: "Wmiran Exchange | No AML-KYC Limits" on: November 18, 2023, 09:45:10 PM
-Newly created orders will be available for payment for a duration of 24 hours. If an incoming transaction is not detected within this timeframe, the order will be automatically removed.
What if someone tries to use your website and then because of the fee, the transaction stuck for so long and never got confirmed within the timeframe. But then, after a few days it has got confirmed, will the transaction rejected and will be refunded to the sender?
And regarding your question, before a user creates an order, we have a field called 'Wallet for Refund,' where we explain that if a transaction is confirmed after 72 hours, the system will initiate a refund to the wallet provided by the user.

https://i.ibb.co/PFv3xBf/Screenshot-2023-11-18-at-18-54-55.png

We will try to fix all the issues and be back shortly.
With the high fees that we've got right now, refunding that will require you to send it back to the user, right? That means that you're going to cover the fee with that or you're going to slash the fee in the principal amount of what the user has sent it lately. I think with most of the fast swaps that I have used, as long as the transaction has been sent by user to the swap(exchage) and is still unconfirmed, the swap is just totally fine waiting for it to get confirmed. But if that's your policy of returning or refunding it to the user, you're the one that shall be followed since it's your platforms.
885  Economy / Exchanges / Re: "Wmiran Exchange | AML-Free " on: November 18, 2023, 01:25:19 PM
Are you a one-man team? The website itself is lacking of a lot of things based on the design that you've got.

The error mentioned has been resolved. Thank you for your attention.

Currently, our website defaults to English, with Russian as the second language.

I thought the same last night as I checked it before going to sleep however, I'm afraid the error has shown up again, same with RU being the default language. I added a gif.

It has changed now to English and their header to "Electronic currencies exchanger".

886  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much safe Electrum 2FA is? on: November 18, 2023, 10:28:19 AM
Is electrum is safe for long term storing?
Yes, it is one of the ideal desktop wallets that's focused in Bitcoin if you don't have other means of storing your Bitcoin through a hardware wallet or any of a kind. There's no problem if you do that and you can basically treat it as your air gap wallet if you ever had a device like a laptop that you're not going to use and just simply disconnect it entirely from the internet.

Can I get hacked ?
Everyone has the risk of being hacked if we're not careful to how we browse on the web. Remember that, depends on the wallet you use. If you downloaded the wrong wallet and it's owned by the hackers that copied an official wallet then you're likely to get hack and your funds will be gone. But if you have downloaded the official wallet, the fate of yours being hacked depend on your browsing activity.
887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount of bitcoin or satoshi should hold for poor? on: November 18, 2023, 08:49:05 AM
What is the minimum amount of bitcoins a poor person should have? and the minimum time it should be Hold/retained?
It depends on your lifestyle. There's really no required minimum amount a poor person should have but it's on how they are going to determine what they need for the rest of their lives. Usually with these calculations, we're thinking on how much we can afford to live on a daily basis and how much we need for our eternity. But if you're going to be with reality, start with 1 bitcoin if you can but if not then reduce it to decimals that you can afford to. Like, 0.1, 0.01, 0.001 BTC and so on as you start. I'm talking about your start because not everyone can avail to buy an entire Bitcoin as they think. So it should be safe to say around 0.01 - 0.1BTC as the minimum.
888  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to verified My Binance Account? on: November 18, 2023, 04:54:04 AM
It's on your account and the procedure is there if you truly want to proceed with their KYC. There's no need for that much tutorial or whatnot because the instructions and steps are already there, you just need to follow what's being directed to your account for you to send those details of yours.

I wonder why OP did not lock this topic, it seems there are enough answers for the question.
It will be soon locked as there are some members that have probably reported the thread already.
889  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Fake transaction accelerator that requires typing your seed phrase!!! on: November 17, 2023, 10:33:02 PM
Nice find.
With all of the high transaction fees that we've got. These scammers will always find a way to pay a visit to their potential victims in every sector on the crypto community. While for us, we can figure this out easily but the newbies are at utmost risk with these scammers that are making it look like they're a legit service and can accelerate transactions through seed phrases.
890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How high can the transaction fees become? on: November 17, 2023, 07:49:45 PM
I haven't done that but if you can do that and that's going to save you some fees with your important transaction, you might just have a test and see how it'd go. Currently, no one knows how high that the fees will spike up. It can be as high as $20 per transaction or more than that depending on how the mempool is clogged and trafficked with transactions. The spam can't be stopped but it will eventually be emptied soon that shall make the fees go down and hopefully goes back to 1 sat/vB.
My prediction is about two weeks and probably it may end sooner than that.

As for now, there is a gradual decrease in the fee used in the last 24 hours.

https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#BTC%20(default%20mempool),24h,weight
Yeah, I've seen the double reduction that it has got when the last time I've checked it just this morning. Two weeks is actually quick but it's possible that it gets quicker because the last time that we've seen some pump on these fees, we saw it coming and it ended so fast.

For two possible reasons, one is we are approaching weekends when the fee is lower in general than on weekdays or the liquidity/price of ordinals is losing.
I'm not sure with weekends related to the fees but once we see it drop more. Then, we are seeing that the signs are happening already however that this is going to be a roller coaster ride as well just as Bitcoin that we see up and down same goes with the fees.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for bringing the domain name < unijoin.pro > to our attention.

Following an internal investigation, we have suspended this domain name.
--------------------------------
This e-mail is from Gandi.net.
Well done, mate!
This is nice to see that they were responsive and able to manage to suspend the domain and now that's one but still more to go. With your efforts directly going to them, they're just a few emails and contact away.

I've already sent an email about Unijoin.fun, but it is hosted in the US and the company is known to protect their customers very much...

Keep you informed here, if I have any answer from their team  Smiley
Hopefully this does the same response and action so that website will also be taken down or suspended by them. Keep it up iwantmyhomepaidwithbtc2. Smiley
893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you track bulk Bitcoin transactions being carried out by whales? on: November 16, 2023, 01:26:11 PM
I don't do that, let those accounts or profiles in Twitter(X) do that for us. It doesn't make sense that you follow them and then your decisions will based on them. That just gives you anxiety and can lead you to misleading information that shall affect your decisions.

Because the current value of all your holdings depend on those bulk transactions.
Nope. It's based on demand but those transactions are part of the demand but that doesn't mean that all the demand runs on those bulk transactions. They're not the only demand and transactions that you should be wary of, honestly there's nothing be worried with. Just treat it as typical day when you see one.
894  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Scam/Phishing Curve Website on: November 16, 2023, 10:45:00 AM
I tried to do some google search if it's going to appear but then it seems that there's no result. That's actually good if they are not showing if someone search the real curve fi. I'd advise to include the report link from google for your convenience OP with your other scam accusations for ease and everyone's help.

Gazeta and everyone here is doing a good job, thanks for your efforts and concern for the real and one and only, unijion.io.

Speaking of Unijoin.pro, I noticed that the site is hosted by Gandi. It's a French company I know a bit about, and I've contacted them to find out whether or not they can legally shut down the site. I'll let you know what their answer is, although I'm not very optimistic at the moment.  Roll Eyes
Good luck and keep us updated if they know something about that so that it can be gone and totally removed. Although there's that vibe of not being optimistic with your approach to them whether they'll reply or not, but let's have faith.

It is suggested that unjoin purchase all available domains that have unijoin start and redirect to the primary domain while encouraging more people to download public-key which you can find here https://[banned mixer]/en/download-public-key keeping and using it will reduce the possibility of you being exposed to phishing links.
Nice suggestion and I also suggest that they should give a warning on their landing page for everyone to see that there have been bunch of fake unijoin's copying them but with a different domain.
896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any alternative Bitcoin transaction accelerators to viaBTC? on: November 16, 2023, 05:27:27 AM
They're right, it's only viabtc that's working.
This was my problem before and I've stumbled upon this thread made by Zepher: FREE BTC Tx Accelerators. Stop paying for something that is free!
But sadly, most of them are gone already and the one that's real working is viabtc and the rest, yes just rebroadcasters. With most of the research that I've done, none of them really are going to work except viabtc.
If you want a real accelerator, the real ones are requiring fee just like with Binance transaction accelerator.
897  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Biggest Exchange: M2 Exchange based on Abu Dhabi (UAE) on: November 15, 2023, 11:54:00 PM
I became interested reading the title about telling that there's gonna be an unpopular exchange in Dubai that's going to be the biggest. It's always a bluff these days when we see such website or someone tells that with what they've found whether they're associated/affiliated with it or not. It's look like they're highlighting the earn/interest feature that they have. And the design, why it seems so very familiar and it looks like we've seen it somewhere like nexo, right?
898  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would you tell your younger self to learn this space efficiently? on: November 15, 2023, 10:51:33 PM
Very simple, to always chill and calm on this market because it's always the ones who can't take the heat gets the worst and get out of this market. Another tip is to never get tired of holding. It requires patience and I'll actually develop a lot of things when I'll just be patient at all times. Last one, is to never panic. Whatever happens to this world and on this space, never panic because it's not always at the bottom and the same goes at the top. Nothing beats someone who's informed that has got a plan while holding all of your crypto assets mainly Bitcoin.
899  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Uniswap launches android wallet app on: November 15, 2023, 09:48:56 PM
Yeah, this should have done long time ago but I guess it's a timely launched for them because we're just about to enter the bull run. The timing is perfect for this release but it's a different story if this has been done before.

Support swap across 8 chains.
Nice, they really have to because of the high fees that we might get for specific chains like ETH. For sure that there's a need for some alternative.
900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 15, 2023, 08:45:24 PM
The market isn't interested in him neither and that's why let him say what he want to say and let his opinion be voiced out about Bitcoin. It's true that there are a lot of holders that can move the market as what we call whales. But it's not what he's thinking of letting the market down through them. Aren't we used already to the moves of the market based on the news that we're seeing whenever there are good or bad news that's being released by the media? It's okay if your friend doesn't need Bitcoin, the known and rich people in several industries that are investing on it. Nothing personal, someone might like or not Bitcoin and your friend is on the latter.
