Sri Lanka position is very good now after 3rd days stumps, they just require to get 250 more runs to get 200 runs lead. Playing 5th day is very hard in any test, so it won't be easy to Zim to save this test until someone will stay in crease long time. Considering the way in which both team played, the pitch will be difficult to play on the 5th day and it depends upon how much can Sri Lanka put on the score board in quick time in the 4th day and put Zimbabwe under pressure to go for the win or draw the match and if Sri Lanka can do that tomorrow then we might see a result, if not it will end up in a draw. I would like to remind you that Sri Lanka is still trailing by 63 runs and they have already lost 4 of their most important wickets. Dhananjaya de Silva and Angelo Mathews have batted brilliantly till now, but in case they lose one or two quick wickets, then the situation can really change. To have a chance of win, Sri Lanka needs a total of around 500. Any total below that, the match will end up as a draw. Matthews is leadings from the front and batting at 92 runs . SL will take a lead in first innings as they just trail now by 63 runs and 6 wickets in hand . Zimbabwe bowling is not that effective and I doubt they would be able to bat again the same like first innings . |

Their is a Under 19 world cup going on and today their was a match of India vs Japan. Japan batting first was all out for just 41 runs and they batted for 22.5 overs. In reply to this score India won the match by 10 wickets and completed it in just 4.5 overs. Japan is a new team and long way to go before they can compete to the likes of such top teams.

SL started their innings and are now 42/1 . SL would like to take some lead in the first innings to put pressure on Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe played really well to get to 358 runs, they were taking a lot of time to score these runs and it is a good approach and if they are able to pick wickets then it will be interesting to see how the Sri Lankan players will cope to the pressure and who will be rising and perform better, if they are able to bat till the third day then Zimbabwe can look for a draw, i know this is just the second day and it all depends upon how the Sri Lankan players are going to approach the game. I am sure that Zimbabwe is looking for a draw at the moment, nothing more. They took their sweet time while batting and managed to putup 350+ runs on board. And while bowling, they avoided bowling few overs by not opting spin. Currently SL are batting well at 113/2. The only chance for SL to get a result is to post a big lead something around 250+ for ZIM and try to wrap them up within a days play which will be a tough task considering how they batted in the first innings. Mendis & Matthews partnership has helped SL to reach 184 runs with loss of 3 wicket. Mendis would be disappointed as he was really building his innings so well and got out at 80. Zimbabwe would now require to pick up 2 quick wickets so that they would be back in the hunt and try to make them all out quickly and take some first innings lead. |

Money is the only thing which never satisfy a human no matter how much they have got,even after they got money which can't be spend in their entire life time won't stop them from making money.
So having a money limit to stop gambling won't work.
A time will come when they have to stop not by their choice but due to compulsion and it would be the time when they keep making money and suddenly when they lose big money or keep losing money and still do not stop. Know what? There is a limit up to which the weather can help. A huge amount of time was lost to rain interruption. And still the Brits won the match comfortably. I missed the last day of action, as I was in office. When I reached home, it was all over and I was surprised to see that Keshav Maharaj was the top-scorer for the South Africans with his 71. Well.. that sums up everything I guess. It was just a sarcastic hope for the South African i mentioned  . If South Africa is able to find batsman like Keshav Maharaj then they can have some hope in the future other than that their entire batting line up is a failure for a very long time and there are news coming out that Faf du Plessis will be retiring from Test cricket pretty soon. De-villers presence in the team and his battings skills used to change lot of things for SA and now once he is not their in the team they are definitely missing some one of his likes which is impacting them and can be clearly seen. Poor South Africa, they should change their team nickname "Protea Fire" to "Dud BumB". this suits more to them as they are in very poor form for quite some time now. Be it away tour or home, even in the limited over cricket.
If Top order can't play Joe Root then you really need some serious soul searching.
One good thing for SA in this test match was that losing quick 6 wickets their lower order batsman in 2nd innings showed some fighting spirit and helped SA reach past their score of first innings which at one point was not looking possible. Rest England really played well and deserved to win this match . Ollie was named Man of the match. |

Kohli claimed they were trying something new in the 1st ODI and their plan failed. And with two consecutive wins, it seems he was telling the truth as Australia still seems to be a easy competitor for India in home. Though India suffers playing world cup in other countries, they are once again playing in home the next one. It's really difficult for other teams to play against India in India.
Yes the Indian team has made some experiments 1st odi match that gone for wrong to team India because we know the king kohli has comas to bat at no 4 and it when wrong but after the first lose india did necessary changes in the team and India overcome from first lose now won the series against australia really great show from Indian team. Changes when done on right time lead to the desired results and this is an excellent example of it. They made changes and wanted to experiment some which they did in 1st and when they saw the result quickly they changed it and got the results in their favour too. |

de Kock is perhaps the best batsmen in the South African squad right now. But now he is gone (he was the 5th wicket to fall), I don't think that South Africa is going to survive for much longer. My guess is that England will wrap up this match within 30-40 minutes today. Philander can be a thorn in the flash for England, but he needs someone who could give him support. Unfortunately for him, the remaining players (including Maharaj) are not that known for their batting skills. SA has lost quick 6 wickets for a score of 102 runs and still trail by 188 runs. So most likely match would be over soon and England will win it by innings and some runs. SA will have to look back what went wrong with their batting line up as they are not able to score runs. |

India won the match in style and the series, Kohli missed out on a century but he proved again he is the king of run chases even though he was not able to stay till the end. The only player that will stay in the end in any chase is Dhoni and i really miss his performances. The reason i like the present team is that they always perform when the series is on the line.
Next India will be traveling to New Zealand and hopefully we will see a good contest.
Revenge done after losing the first match of the series.Next series will be the real test for team India because of changes in pitch from subcontinent and overseas will differ a lot so batsmen and bowlers will get struggle but they are good balanced team so yes it is going to be a good contest. Fabulous innings by Rohit and Kohli helped India to win the match easily . Kohli would be little disappointed due to missing of his century by 11 runs .Kohli was named man of the series and Rohit was man of the match . Still, 286 is a good total for a decider match. I am surprised by watching Rahul and Rohit came out for opening the innings rather than the left-right combination. I can't remember Dawan playing down the order.
A good opening partnership of 69 runs has put India in a good balanced position as now Rohit is batting on 80 and India are now 129/1 and still require 152 runs in 24 overs . If Rohit bats for another 10 overs match will drift away from OZ. |

This is still anyone game. Australia have made a good start but have lost 2 wickets. On the other hand, India will be hoping to get few more wickets quickly and restrict Australia to 270. This is where it become a game of nerves and the team who can control their nerves will be the winner in the end. Correct the game is very parallelly balanced, it can be anybody's game. If these two batsmen continue to bat till 30 over then the match will become very interesting. When you place your bets on a draw, you should believe both the teams will outperform each other or atleast give a tough fight. So when ENG has already put up 499 runs on board, SA eventually has to fight back by scoring at atleast 300 runs and avoid a follow. Moreover, I have some belief in the SA lower-order batsmen  Remember Philander and Maharaj knock against India during the last series? Today Nortje did a fantastic job, Philander is also doing great. 91 runs still needed to avoid a follow on, with 5 of the most important batsmen and Nortje back in the pavillion. Quinton de Kock is the last recognized batsmen and I don't think that Vernon Philander is going to survive for much longer. Dom Bess has taken 5 wickets so far, and he will finish the job today with his spin bowling. Also, for this match South Africa had selected Dane Paterson instead of Dwaine Pretorius to conform with the racial quotas. And this is going to further weaken their batting abilities (Pretorius is an all rounder, while Paterson is a bowler). Stokes and Popes partnership is the turning point for England to make that 499 runs and also England bowlers have started well and picked up 2 wickets quickly for a score of 60. SA trail now by 439 runs. If England can take a lead of 150+ in first innings they will fancy their chance to win it.
They already lost two important wickets for just 60 runs. I don't expect them to make a total exceeding 200-220. England will ask them to follow on, and the chances are that the match will be over by tomorrow. England needs to win this series, after the mixed results they had in New Zealand. They are the world champions (in ODI) and therefore the fans expect them to win. What a spell by Bess who have taken all the five wickets of SA innings and SA are now 113/5 and trailing by 386 runs. If England can wrap them under 299 runs then they might give them follow on as well. In the meanwhile rain has interrupted the match and see what changes does SA plan to ensure they do not get all out very quickly from this stage. |
