If the guys with the $40 million in ICO cash put a 100 BTC bounty on an opensource cryptonote light node I bet it happens in less than two weeks. Alternatively the devs who can't seem to code their way our of a paper bag could push a full node mobile wallet while they find a light node solution. Stringing the "investors" along like this will lead to shit like the XPY thread in the service discussion section.
You are confused. They are not working on the blockchain So all the "investors" get is a clone if the XMR GUI wallet? The guys who are sitting on ICO coins are going to get massively cheesed off, you know that right? Also there's already an ETN GUI wallet based on SUMO made by miners, this is seriously ripe. There is port of Monero GUI wallet too...

Can I join signature bounty even I've already done it for pre-ICO?
|
|
|
that is, this branch from the Monero, but perhaps not so profitable?
It is on a better position than monero from time to time ... let's just say Sumo has a better chance for a x100 at this point @Matthev: you are right, as usual I'm always right, sometimes it gets really boring Well, ok at least 51% of time I'm right! My post on ETN thread got deleted because I've put there link on Monerujo https://monerujo.io/ (Will see if it's problem in here too ) I've said there a lot of things, but I would never thought that this link would be problem I've said that the only way they could have lightweight ETN mobile wallet is porting Monerujo. I also said that their dev team isn't very good when it took so long (Yeah, I used these kind words) and their CLI wallet is just port of Monero CLI, so why they not do it with GUI too, since some folks already port Monero and also SUMO wallet for ETN... Contraband threatened me with ban if I will not stop with this. But somehow, my ETN mining guide has more reads than the official thread I know it's not belong in here, I'm sorry for that, but I like this coin much more and I have to write it somewhere where are good folks.

Is anyone tried to mining with Simple Miner?
Is anyone tried not to spam my threads? It's just useless GUI for XMRig nothing more...

Is anyone tried to mining with Simple Miner?
Nope, they violate GNU licensing. It's based on XMRig so if you want the same use just XMRig, the GUI is useless there nothing important.
|
|
|
Only pre built option? I tend to like to build my own executables. Any reason why you would take this route? Are you trying to hide something? There is nothing to hide the miner use xmrig for the hardwork. Then i suggest you share the code. Crypto-space is dangerous. And most ppl here wont just click a link before doing alot of research. If you want your miner to take of, share the code. Most used miner Claymore is closed source too... But you are using XMRrig which is based on XMR-STAK improved Wolf0 kernel and all of it is under GNU license. So you HAVE TO give source codes too!

why whattomine say me 322 coin/day but i did half with 4250 h/s?
Half is strange. It's not that accurate. Same here, it's displaying 180 coins when I get 130. Price of ETN is skyrocketing, it's @0.048$ now and still going up. Mining is very profitable. I hope that the price will going down again in the 0.02 range to buy more. Again and again... You know it only applies to that exact monent, there is no prediction... Whattomine doesn't have always current values, so if you don't correct them you can't have good results. Also it depends on the pool how many blocks it will find, pool luck and bad shares...

yeah I know, Mattthev. for regular use it's a good PC but not for this kind of job. combined rate of machines is near 800H/s now tho. and ETN almost doubled on 1 day altho this would mean a total of $0.80 or so which is peanuts at the moment we need a moonlander like stick for cryptonite to improve speeds. I wanted to invest minimal to improve things (moonlander 2 for litecoins) but like most people I grabbed next to it as it is sold out again in minutes. Kind of frustrating for beginners actually. That's nice USB miner, but it won't mine much LTC anyway. And this kind of stuff is not useful for Cryptonote since it is ASIC resistant.

So I've been fiddling around with settings for my 6x Sapphire RX470 4GB Mining Edition (Samsung) rig.
Result: 870 h/s per card.
SGminer 5.5.5 gm
Rawintensity: 520 Worksize: 8 Gpu-threads: 2
Bios flash: Ubermix Afterburner OC: Core: 1400 MHz, Memory: 1930 MHz
I see recommendations for higher memory clocks, but anything over 1930 MHz is causing crashes / sick gpus. I don't know if that's the max these gpus can do or have I messed something up in settings.
Power draw for the 6x gpu rig at the wall: 950 W. I know it's a bit high. I tried undervolting in OverdriveNTool and failed. When I decreased the mV values by 10 or 20 mV, nothing happened, when I tried 40 mV, system crashed. Tried decreasing dynamic core mV-s in Polaris bios editor by 1 or 2 and setting memory voltage to 950 mV, also no effect on wattage whatsoever. Undervolting bar in Afterburner is grayed out (doesn't help if I enable it in settings). I'm out of ideas. One way to decrease wattage is to lower core clock, but that hurts the hashrate too much IMO, for example when I clock core to 1320 MHz, hashrate per gpu drops by 20 h/s and power draw per rig drops by 30 W.
Any ideas about memory clocking and undervolting welcome.
This is some hard OC there 1400MHz on core only if you have free electricity... good for games only You can OC the memory above 2000MHz but you need better timings.

It is a really cool idea to test the security of your platform by professional hackers before launch!
Yes, but they've already launch it They should do it much sooner.

13H/s but that box is on 24/7 anyway.
another desktop does 110+ and a server that does 420H/s
not much but since they're on anyway I can better make use of it to mine aswell.
You know, that even my smartphone that I only use for GPS navigation with MTK6592 (4 year old) can do almost 10H/s? With like 1W power consumption.

I couldn't get their tool to work as minerd or whatever it was didn't work if you don't have AES on your CPU.
I'm using xmrig now.
so I still need their tools later?
What is your hashrate and CPU? Without AES you pay probably more for electricity than you mine...

It also depends on amount on each address... Are you sure about that? I have been looking for smaller wallets to see what happens. Kawaii should know in a week or 2 what happens. I have in one wallet about 150 DNR the others like 10 or 5 DNR, the one with 150 DNR stake more often, didn't count the exact stake amount for each wallet so I might be worng.

So now i have time to edit my sapphire rx 570 nitro+ OC 4GB with Elpida Memory bios :-) I will save my bios and edit it with SRB Polaris editor V3, but what for a strap must i copy to the higher one? or i copy this elpida strap from the webside ( http://indeedminers.czechian.net/timings.html)?Strap: 777000000000000022AA1C00315A5436A0550F15B68C1506004082007C041420CA8980A9020004C 01712262B612B3715 What is the best way? Best regards Willi That's the Eliovp strap. Copy it to 1750 and 2000, you might not be able to run it on more than 2000MHz.

Guys, always pick pools from here: http://www.etnheartbeat.com/Some of them don't have working API to show stats, but look at the location, pool hashrate and when last block was found.

|

I tried that and it doesn't mine. Do you have a bat. file for an example plz. thx There are example configs included... but no need to use them, just run the XMR-STAK and create your own, it will guide you.

I have a couple MSI RX480 & 580 4GB I wanted to use on XMR , my 8gb work great with the UberBios , but I cant get the proper straps to bring the 4gb up to speed, anyone have advice or a bios I could try on the 4gb models?
Thx
Maybe Uber-mix 3.2?

how is the speed with video cards? same like monero? 1060 does 500?
Monero GPU hashrate x2 = AEON GPU hashrate I should probably make the bold font even bigger -_-
