The price has already fallen 67% in 1 day, there is no block explorer to see the pos rewards or the block sizes, what a disaster.
I'm not too worried, I have like $2 of free btc in this lol. Nothing wrong with having a little fun

It is deff 1 coin that is needed to stake. It is like that with pretty much every POS coin. And yes this is pretty much the highest interest rate ever offered on any coin it should be very bad very quick.
This is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not on this thread to make a profit, I'm here for the crazy PoS lulz that are about to ensue.

Hmm... starting to think this may not be worth it. Price should crash drastically as soon as PoS earnings fly through the roof. Anyone with a sitting buy order will be wiped away by the first guy to get his coins to the exchange. The yobit wallet will be gigantic unless it is not staking and actually moving coins up from cold storage for each handout.
Maybe it is best to wait for the first guy to sell off his pile of PoS earnings and buy in then?

You got some one trying really hard to give the impression off mass dumping on poloniex for the last two days.. really blatant
I'd guess whales putting sell orders up to have us sell into their buys before the next green rocket. Just an idea I saw a 78 BTC sell wall flash briefly about a minute before the big dump, I think we can guess who is responsible Someone with big fins and weighing over 200 tons? haha it is a small price to pay for their wealth! On a more serious note, I am still shocked that trade volume a few days ago reach 5x the marketcap. It doesn't even really make sense.

What's the worry even if he did make 1btc and take off? The developer doesn't own the currency. Isn't that the beauty of crypto?
Holy words mate, i'm not the owner i'm just the starter of this. The wonderful revolution of the cryptocurrencies is that the coin is of the communit itself and not just of one group of people You NEED and "MUST" participate in the growth of BTCU actively if you really want to see this project spread around, not only sit in the background and wait until some pump happen to dump your bag and make easy money. That is not why crypto was created, that has been a consequence of things as many times happened with many currencies, but this won't mean BTCU will be like it. BTCU need me as dev as needs you as contributors! All together we can detrmine wher BTCU is heading to, how is going and how long it will. So people i love to see that after my absence you all keep strong and united in favour of BTCU (apart of some curious trolls ). The market price i see now is very stable from few time so i think is not premature to say it will increase soon....and steady. I agree with you, I did not mean this as an insult. It was simply a counter arguement to the people claiming you ran away. I'm here to contribute in ny way I can. Unfortunately that capacity is somewhat limited. Glad to see you are back!

So.. has anyone figured out what the minimum input is for these suckers to stake? I'm sitting .046 but it's still not enough..
|
|
|
So you can get 0.01 free on yobit, after withdrawal it is 0.008... is it even worth staking such a tiny amount, I mean will it even stake properly?

Seems like I'm getting more PoS blocks than I was a day or two ago.. I'm not complaining

All this fudders say they are out of btcu, and dev dumped premined coins, and yet all my buy orders stay untuched. Now one coin was dumped
I haven't said a word that is fud. I just said that it was clearly stated by the community for the dev, to don't split the premine in different accounts. Now what he made? Actually, the poll was whether or not to allow the premine to be staked. If he split it up and they're not staking, then there is nothing wrong. This. +1 Good spot. If he split it for now, isn't staking, and isn't dumping, well... Who really cares? My wallet is warm and cozy staking away here

What is up with the crazy price manipulation? When 24 hr volume is several times the size of the marketcap, well... that just isn't natural.
Lots of theories on that. I can share what I know. Several traders have said they really love Expanse and might be big players, they could have been involved. (they were tweeting, so certainly they were trading) It is entirely possible some interest or traders out of China were behind it.(Little things like making the mining count a lucky number for China, 8, could influence them... who knows?) ETH whales, maybe. We do have some information coming out soon, and maybe some people got excited, but certainly it was big money. What I am 100% certain of, the team was shocked by it all, happy, but shocked. My best estimate was that it was just a perfect storm of some large investors, interest, and small investors all hitting at once. Thanks for the reply on this. Didn't this happen a month or two ago as well? I remember seeing price skyrocket and volume was several times the cap.

Anyone know of a good place to rent rigs to mine some decred? Wouldn't mind expanding on my airdrop

IF the dev is truly a scammer waiting to dump, why wouldn't he have deleted fud from weeks ago? This is a self-moderated topic and not one post has been removed, negative or positive. Also, again, if he dumps it all out, who cares? He isn't going to make much at this price. It will just put those coins back in circulation. The positives the coin itself has at the moment that myself and kbroadfoot stated before should be enough to overcome that.
You can't kill the coin, it's not as if the dev "owns" it.

It doesn't look to me like the premined coins were dumped... just moved to different addresses. Which is something the dev explained several pages ago. Like kbroadfoot said, what does it matter at this point?
-No Fork -Low total supply -Reasonably distributed, coin spread is not bad
Even if the dev vanished in to thin air, it could be picked up and continued by the community.
Not looking good. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1361705.0So what if he makes coins for other people.. now he has made his own. This just tells me he has some level of experience with the code. Also, that topic doesn't have anything but "..." after the areas of supposed proof, and the topic is locked?

Looks like this thread could use a little bit of updating..
On another note, I am not pulling in nearly as many PoS blocks as I thought I would. Oh well, they are still coming in!

Of my old GPU farm I have one 7950 left, and it likes to commit seppuku when mining DCR, so I'll have to work with what I received from the airdrop. Think the main chip in it is getting ready for retirement.
Seppuku? Explain. I'm in the process of getting a couple 7950's up and running again, just waiting on risers. Hopefully, I'm not wasting my time. Seppuku https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SeppukuI was only joking about that. The whole computer freezes. It has nothing to do with it being a 7950, it's just a very old card that has done several life cycles of work for me already. This same card was mining litecoin and bitcoin back in 2013 I highly doubt you'll have any issues with yours, assuming they are in good shape.
