901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If Luck Was Measured In Percentage, Rate Your Luck In 2022 From 0-100 on: January 06, 2023, 11:52:39 PM

I experienced being lucky and unfortunate last year. Lots of winnings I made so far in 2022.

Since the topic can't be literally responded to with an accurate answer, I measure my luck from over 80%. The same goes for my winnings but I will increase it from 85% because not all the time do I purely rely on my luck.

Plan for 2023? I don't need any plan and that's not me. I will just go with the flow on my usual.
902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is The Gambling Industry Part Of The Domino Effect That Happens In The Market on: January 06, 2023, 11:49:25 PM
Everything that is centralized, be it casinos or exchanges, have their own risk so we should as much as possible avoid them at all cost. Besides, saving in gambling sites will only end up stealing your coins and leave you empty. So never trust all of them, but trust your own self-custodial wallet as it’s more safe and secured.

Everything that is centralized should be avoided at all costs. Can you really keep up with that? I doubt. Smiley

Using their service is no doubt beneficial and does have advantages. Obviously, just use their service and not make them as a wallet-saving use.

And who the hell will save money on gambling sites? Those high amounts that you might see are part of the gambling profits and it's just that the user is not yet withdrawing because they will still continue their goal of increasing their gambling profits.
903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 05, 2023, 04:08:31 AM
We can also say that there is much talent right now with the players that's why they can put up these many points. Players got evolved and they are into "Offense wins games" mindset where they will be focusing more on offense.

Adding to that, some players today can really score that much even with good defense and well-contested, either on the perimeter, beyond the arc, or inside the paint. That's why I mentioned that it's not just about the question of where's the defense now in today's generation but rather players really evolved that's why offense becomes efficient.

Even big men in today's NBA can even nail a shot beyond the arc compared to before the era. These big guys even have a much higher 3-point FG percentage compared to some SG and SF role players. That's how big the changes is since then.
904  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin banking is more preferable than normal bank. on: January 05, 2023, 03:17:38 AM
Bitcoin banking is more secure than normal banking, because you are the only one that has access to your personal wallet but in normal banking customer cares can login into your bank account without you're notice and use your money for any kind of businesses.bitcoin banking is more reliable than normal banking because money that is in your normal banking can be deducted or withdrawal without you're notice but that can not happen in Bitcoin banking everything happens with your authorization.

You are missing some of the key points here. Both have pros and cons. There's no perfect between them even though I prefer the use of crypto over banks.

In terms of security, you are the one who is responsible for that referring to holding your bitcoin. Money in the bank might not be safe for you, but their clients are all insured in terms of sh*t even in bankruptcy (which doesn't happen overnight).

Aside from that, digital banking nowadays is way more convenient and quicker if you asked me. For now, bitcoin is more used for investment purposes.
905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The mistake I made some years ago on: January 05, 2023, 02:33:45 AM

I'm sure the majority of us here do have the worst experience before as a newbie. Honestly, even experienced ones still fall on sh*t.

Isn't it good that we experienced those as that became our fundamentals and foundation in building a good crypto experience?

The feeling of being regrettable and disappointed is just usual but we have to move on. Cheer up!
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 05, 2023, 02:23:23 AM

Unfortunately, we can't apply that argument of being concerned for animals when we talk about how big the market is for that kind of gambling.

Not sure about dog racing but I think that's just for fun and not much available market for it. But in horse racing and cockfighting, it's been ages already since it was accepted as part of the gambling industry. Obviously, we can't see their respective betting options on casinos or usual sports bookies as in most cases, it has a standalone platform for betting.

Nothing we can do about it especially against at those. Take it or leave it or just continue to ignore those as that kind of gambling will stay "forever".

Are you telling me there are betting markets on cockfighting? That is absolutely disgusting. Any betting platform who has markets for this should lose their license immediately.

Who has the authority to revoke the license of those if, in the first place, the said gambling is legal in a country? Only those illegal operations are being shut down by the authorities, the same goes for other illegal gambling activities.

Yes, there is a betting market on it and it's wild. Actually here in our country, cockfighting is legal. But since the pandemic hits the country, a new version of betting was born and was called online cockfighting and it becomes trendy here since for just barely $1 to $2, anyone can start betting without the hassle of going into a real cockfighting arena and understand how betting there works. Although currently, online cockfighting was suspended until further notice.

One of the popular online cockfighting operators here, Pitmasters, claimed that they were generating around $13.4 billion annually in wagers. That's how big the industry here is and one of the best sources of revenue for the government.

Disgusting as it is for others but again, take it or leave it.
907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 05, 2023, 02:12:28 AM
Having their own opinion is fine but I think people are letting their hate for PBC/Al Haymon cloud their judgement of Spence.
Crawford Spence is a 50/50 fight in my eyes. I give Thurman and Ennis almost no chance though.

If you were able to read the before Spence vs Crawford thread, I'm sure you might end up being crazy for the amount of criticism that Spence received there lol. Just friendly advice that don't take those seriously and just try to keep up with the discussion.

The most reason is, Spence seemed to avoid Crawford at all times which I don't believe honestly. In terms of strength, I even pick Spence over Crawford for about a 60% chance of winning. However, boxing fans end up disappointed as the supposed clash between them is almost close to reality last year but still got failed.

Moving forward after that failed negotiation, Crawford was able to secure a TKO win against David Avanesyan last month. On the other hand, Spence got involved again in a car accident, although not that serious, and expected to return to the ring either in April or May but his opponent is still unknown.
908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 05, 2023, 01:42:41 AM
I wouldn't consider horse and dog racing or cock fighting sport, nor a casino game of any kind, I would simply consider all of these to be animal slavery and a sickening thing at that.  They shouldn't be included in sports or casino games as the only one hurting themselves in those games are people whom make the cognitive decision to play the games, not force innocent animals to do disgusting things for others.

Unfortunately, we can't apply that argument of being concerned for animals when we talk about how big the market is for that kind of gambling.

909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 05, 2023, 01:36:56 AM
I agree that women in casinos are a contributing factor to addiction.

I don't think so. Doesn't make sense to consider that.

If those people you are referring to will try or make an attempt to date that woman then definitely, the focus will be shifted to that woman and not to gambling anymore. I doubt gamblers will just go to a casino just to see those women since why there if there's a much better place to visit for that purpose? Smiley

That was just a side entertainment but not a big reason to consider why gamblers are lurking in casinos.
910  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 05, 2023, 01:27:18 AM
1. Minimum deposit: just from the tittle we, we should all know what this about, as a new casino, it is generally advised that you always make your deposit very minimal possibly upto $1 and also make the deposit very easy.

In that case, it's necessary and mandatory for them to add cryptocurrencies that have low network fees.

I know that others won't bother to deposit only $1 but since we are talking about the lowest possible minimum deposit, users will consider using cryptos with low fees instead of using coins that might end up paying more fees compared to their deposits.

Besides, with the strong competition between gambling sites these days, having more options for deposits is one of the big factors that users are looking for.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 05, 2023, 12:25:36 AM
Yet the governing bodies and committees are turning to a blind eye because even them have also participated these stunts as they are also getting some benefits about these things.

That was a big allegation from you, mate. I doubt that was always the case.

Boxing associations especially the 4 four recognized as major boxing bodies won't just do some sh*t.

Maybe there are controversial results but that is something we can't directly accuse the boxing association are joining that kind of crap.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 05, 2023, 12:13:26 AM

Speaking of career-highs, several players were able to establish it this season.

To name some:

Luka Doncic - 60 points
Anthony Davis - 55 points
Joel Embiid - 59 points
Donovan Mitchell - 71 points
Giannis Antetokounmpo - 55 points

Now leads again to the argument that NBA today has no defense at all.

Personally, I would say that today's NBA can't be compared to the past where hard defense is really a big thing. But is that really a defense or is it just that players today just evolved and got improved where the offense is way more efficient? Thoughts?
913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 04, 2023, 11:59:36 PM

Truly an intense game at the last minute and a thrilling performance done by the Kings during the 79-79 score.

High-flying Scottie Thompson's follow-up basket against Nicholson is really superb. The Dragon's import was left surprised that someone behind him was unexpectedly just come out of nowhere. After Thompson's follow-up basket, Malonzo's 3-points behind the arc turned the crowd crazy and that's it.

Able to bet on live betting and nailed this bet.

914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 11:58:04 PM

The story doesn't make sense to me. Isn't it common to witness those at casinos?

If on the other hand that those things like nearby ATMs, free drinks, and so on are not present, surely those guests will complain and will find another casino instead with such convenient treatment to their customers.

The factors that contribute to addictive gambling are not those casino features but rather our inner self and the purpose for why we gamble.

As a gambler then you would be finding up these things to be convenient which would be adding up on good overall user experience.
Some actions or outcomes is basing up on your own decisions which it isnt right to make some blaming on the casino.

In other words, the convenient stuff that gamblers are experiencing in that casino isn't really a factor that contributes to their addictive gambling.

The gambler itself is the one who is building their interest to gamble more, not because of those mentioned stuff but rather self-interest.

Maybe on the way, they have won big that's why they keep on playing and risking their money to experience that feeling again and again.
915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone making a living from Crypto Sports betting? on: January 04, 2023, 11:54:21 PM
I can 100% give you guarantee that nobody in the world could make a living out of betting on sports forever. Sure you could have a stretch, a few weeks maybe, a few months if you are lucky, if you are a professional maybe even over a year.

I have to disagree with you.

Maybe not that much but I'm sure there are professional gamblers out there that now make a living because of gambling. These professionals are obviously able to make various sources of income by now out of their gambling activity that's why there is no pressure for them at all to always keep winning in gambling just to support their daily lives.

Of course, that thinking of yours is because you have seen no one does that and as far as the community here is concerned, no such person like that is present here and actively lurking on some threads so we won't see them around.
916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Coin_trader slot experiment to determine my luck on: January 04, 2023, 11:50:44 PM
Does inactivity of the account would really make out some significant effect on having those high chances of winning on a  slot game? I dont think so and would rather believe that it would really be just pure
coincidence but well good luck OP for this experiment and hope that you wont be spending more that $30 per day when you do play slots  Cheesy

Technically, it was really a coincidence and no such thing as luck percentage was based on the account's inactivity.

However, there's really a time when inactive accounts (not dormant), sometimes hit huge wins once return to action. That was the purpose of this OP's experiment but others shouldn't be misled and really considered that account activity has something to do with winning chances.

Also happened to me but not that often.

What I have noticed in my activity when in terms of determining the chances of winning, is the "time" of my session which requires another discussion.
917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2023, 11:59:10 PM
As long as there is time, try and win the game, don't settle just because the calculated time says so. The Cavs played defense quite impressive and then take the foul if they cannot steal it until they reach a tie for overtime.

Agree. If I'm not mistaken Cavaliers are down as much as 20+ points in that game but the patience to make a rally applies.

In today's NBA, a certain team is really not considered safe or on the verge of winning a game even up with huge points.

22/34 FG is an impressive stat. We can't just say that his 71 points is made in a force attempt but rather pure skills.

919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 03, 2023, 11:46:27 PM

There is a thing called group betting in which a group of bettors will decide where to bet on and the funds at stake will come from each of them. A combined amount in order to have a decent bet. On the other hand, a lone bettor is a usual thing that we see here, doing bets on their own.

That's my definition of the subject and not how they placed their respective bets or referred to someone.

I also think that the team betting groups based on OP's description were most likely a paid service group by a tipster.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 02, 2023, 11:28:03 PM
So the top 3 r ight now are not assured that they can go to the finals, those are inexperience teams and yeah, come playoff time, who knows, with a healthy Curry and Wiggins, it might be a different Warrior team, upping up their level.

Looks like others are really referring to the current standing in predicting who will be on the Finals or so.

The final seeding is not that necessary as sure experienced teams will unleash their best once playoffs come.

Standings are only for bracketing. When playoffs come, all teams will have a 0-0 standing. Pointing to Warriors, they are build different when playoffs come.
