Yesterday I invested 3.35 BTC. Right now I have 3.32925858 BTC and declining really fast. Be careful. Never again.

That looks like a less than 1% loss. The site risks up to 1% of your investment on every dice roll. You realise that, right? The house edge is 1%, so lots of variance is to be expected. It's possible you'll make a quick profit, or a quick loss. The edge means that the longer you stay in, the more likely you are to make a profit. I hope it's clear that we are using your investment to back bets that players make, and that sometimes we will lose... No that loss is 1,79%. Right now is more then 6%. All that in less than 24 hours! Great job. I choose to invest not to gamble, but obviously I was wrong. Investors stay away from these site. Maybe learn some math. Hint: Standard deviation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_deviationVariance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VarianceExpected value: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expected_valueRight now players won a little bit over expected value, site is unlucky but luck don't exist over a large sample.

I use mainly cash. I don't like the fact that you can track all my habits by looking to my bank statement. Since Canada removed penny from circulation most store round the change to the customer advantage. I'm also enjoying to fill a pot with my daily change.

Think to which audience you cater. Most Bitcoin users are still mainly geek.
I bought computer parts, ASIC, precious metal, VPS, domain name, coding and graphical work.
I've sold mining rig, GPU, ASIC and 300 PCI-E riser cables.
Bought over $20K of bitcoins for friends with a small margin.
Did only legal transaction.

Anyone with decent amount of money can make a pump. And benefit from it and from its announcement. Why do you suppose the guy that proposed this is a hacker?
Because of what he removed from the original post: PM me with the following data: - btc-e username - the amount of BTC and/or USD you are able to invest (and is already sitting in your btc-e account) - preferred days and times in UTC (p.e. Mon-Fri from 09:00 to 11:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00)

I´m not sure if I got trapped by a pre-order seller. Does this look like a "genuine order page"?
Does order completed mean that it has been shipped or that everything is okay with payment etc. and this status will change as soon as they ship?
And by the way: is store-avalon-asics.com the same as store.avalon-asics.com? Can anyone check if you can login with your verifying credentials at both sites?
I'm pretty sure all the official orders says 1500 BTC since they initially listed the price as 1500$ but converted to BTC for the whole system. I hope you can track down your preorder seller! Yeah don't know why I didn't see it first. Price is wrong (should show 1500 BTC) and DHL price is included.

Was this : Your investment may also be used to fund promotions, or anything else the site owner considers to be beneficial to the overall growth of the site's bankroll. Given the anonymous nature of investing, it is impossible to gain consent of all investors before making decisions about how to use invested funds, so I am claiming the right to do whatever I consider best for the site with them. originally present in the description ? I would like to restrict the usage of my money to funding the pool. So you want the benefit gained by publicity and promotion but without having to pay for it?

I would like to be able to post update/comment even if bidding already started. Also a watchlist with opt-in email notification when an auction is about to end is a must.
Thanks!
you can edit it. I think it was possible before but now I get: You can not edit this item because because there are already bids
eBays only allows you to *add* to the original text after the first bid. Forbidding full editing is the way to go, otherwise you could screw the buyers. This is why I said that I want to be able to post update/comment in the first post. I didn't said I want to edit the listing. Sorry for broken english.

It's so hard to figure out what a practical price for this hardware is. Using the last five difficulty increases as a measure for upcoming difficulty (which, in my opinion, is VERY conservative), it appears that this unit will generate 128 BTC in the next 12 months. That's assuming free power.
In addition, if difficulty continues increasing at a rate similar to what it has been recently (~10% per week), difficulty will be 2.4 billion by the end of the 12 month period, making this device practically worthless at that time.
Granted, no one really knows what difficulty will look like (again, I personally believe the above estimates are conservative), but it appears that if buyers use logic when determining what to bid on this auction, they should bid no more than 128 BTC ... much less if they don't have free power!
EDIT: well I see the auction is now well beyond 128 BTC so apparently logic does not apply! (or some people disagree that difficulty will continue to rise ~10% per week for the next 52 weeks)
yep, people are failing at the basic math. the risk involved for the margins is so thin, I can't believe people at willing to drop so much for a used unit. I still can't believe someone bid 185 for ONE 3module avalon on another thread. that fella will never see a return. it's the asic USB miner mentality, only with a lot more money. lol Yet some people called GPU mining to be dying during fall of 2012. I lost a huge amount of potential profit listening to them when I sold my mining rig expecting the market to get flooded by used GPU and canceled a 300GPU farm project. There is much factor involved that attempting to estimate potential profit is speculation imo. This unit is mining since friday so it's like new. Call-it a burnin test that will pay for free express shipping. Less than 22H left.
