I just noticed that Royse updated the OP with multibet thread. sorry dude i missed it too like others . if that makes you feel better then i was the first user, who subscribed to your Telegram channel..... akhjob must be dreaming of winning the pot but hold your horses guys, we have 2 days left and everything is possible in cricket. Yeah bro, it's almost 5x Haven't won a 5x ever in a bet, my max win was 3x something. But, I trust England to bat for a day and a half and ensure that this match ends in a draw BTW, it's been a productive week for me. I started the week with 77 merits, earned 23 merits in 3 days and became a Full Member on my Birthday and my yesterday's average posts in the art contest fetched 50+ merits. I also closed a good deal IRL So I think, I am in a streak of luck and going to make the most out of it @Little Mouse & @Sashi, NZ has been performing well in the series, it's just bad luck that they lost the T20 series. I was also execting NZ to win the series considering their good form and the home advantage, but I also didn't underestimate ENG that's why I opted for a draw. Right now I have the highest chance, but who knows, as JSRAW pointed out everything is possible Edit: I too subscribed to your telegram channel, Royse @JSRAW, I would have loved to see your 3D art in the contest. You are a 3D artist right

At the rate at which they are scoring, I am expecting a 400+ target just like you. If New Zealand manages to score well, this one could end in a draw and Akhjob(I think) could win this pool.
Was busy last 2 days irl and because of the bitcointalk art contest. Just watched the highlights of the test match. And I am happy to see how Newzealand bowled and batted. Since 3 days have already been over and NZ still batting with 4 wickets in hand, I am expecting to win the pool alone Unless ENG somehow fails to play for 90+ overs. @Royse, looks like the Multibet didn't attract much interest, maybe not everyone discussing in the Cricket discussions is an active gambler (including me). Maybe you'll have to open up for the Football lovers

I just came to know about it from another crypto blog and literally I am surprised! Indians can now withdraw from Binance to their bank account and Wazirx will facilitate the transfer! While it's a good development for India's crypto scene, but I am still skeptical about using a known crypto exchange for transferring money to my bank account. This way my account will be tagged as a crypto user and looking at the situation, I don't think it is safe yet!
Anyone planning to use it?
It will still work on P2P model. I don't see how things will turn different or unsafe. I reread the blog post once again, actually the details given in the Binance blog is bit vague. Starting November 25, you can buy and sell crypto with Indian rupees (INR) on the Binance Fiat Gateway.
In Q1 of 2020, WazirX’s unique auto-matching engine will be integrated into the Binance Fiat Gateway platform itself, bringing easy cryptocurrency access to over a billion people. If you take look at it, it states that we can buy/sell crypto for INR from Nov 25 through its gateway. Maybe something new will be added to current payment gateways of Binance. Maybe they'll use the approach of Giottus, by having selected big players with current accounts as fixed peers for making deposits and withdrawals from the site or maybe they got something new on Nov 25. But they also claim that only in Q1 of 2020 they are integrating Wazirx to their Fiat Gateway and claim it to be existing P2P model of buying Tether and trading with it. So there is nothing new -snip-
I still don't see something big apart from the fact that we can save some transaction fees for moving crypto between exchanges. There is nothing new here other than a big exchange entering Indian market. I don't see an impact like what Amazon did for India. Yeah I do agree that Binance is very influential, may be that's good, only time will tell. Edit: My first post as a Full Member. Thanks everyone

Starting Nov 25, Indians can buy and sell crypto from Binance with fiat (INR). As of now it's limited to purchasing Tether as in Indian exchanges. Source: https://twitter.com/binance/status/1197356466463629312?s=19What are your thoughts?
I see nothing big here apart from the fact that Binance suddenly jumped into Indian Market. I think most Indian exchanges will suffer because of this entry.

Yeah it akhjob and imagine if this match turns out to be a draw then he will win all the money single handily :-D
Yeah, I'll be getting almost 5x if it's a draw. And if both teams perform well with the bat, a draw is inevitable. So let's hope for the batsmen to perform well

If India bans crypto, then dealing cryptos in India will be illegal even if you hold an Estonian e-residency card. But you can cash out your crypto in Estonia, I guess (but I am not sure about it). Maybe 100bitcoin can throw some light on his suggestion. Isn't it true that whichever country's citizenship is held by you doesn't matter in crypto even if it gets illegalized and banned here in our country or anywhere? People still need people who are interested in buying it and give you its worth and if you have them, that's it. You can simply sell your Bitcoins to someone sitting in Spain and ask him to send you the money through any freelancing websites via posting a project there and hiring you. That'll be the best way for anybody (except for those who trade higher amounts like 10-100 BTC and even 500 BTC on a daily basis). But those who trade such big amounts of BTC have already spread their business to a level that they've kept their safe side even if crypto gets banned here. Yeah, same is the case of drugs. Drugs are illegal, but there is reasonable demand for it. And if you have the right contacts, you can deal them until you get caught Please note that I'm not comparing Drugs with Crypto, but if anything is banned by the Govt, whether it has huge demand or not, dealing with them is illegal as per law and will be punished accordingly, if caught (punishment can be evaded in India ). If you are asking whether I'll be quitting crypto just because of a ban, no I am not.
Sorry OP for being offtopic.

Thanks for clearing up the things. But it will be legal to trade crypto currency when we are an citizen of India if India completely bans cryptos even if we got the eresidency like mentioned before? If India bans crypto, then dealing cryptos in India will be illegal even if you hold an Estonian e-residency card. But you can cash out your crypto in Estonia, I guess (but I am not sure about it). Maybe 100bitcoin can throw some light on his suggestion.
I am sorry for derailing the topic -skip-
Yeah, it sure is off-topic. Anyhow, I don't have issues with you holding an OCI card And I honestly don't care about the benefits you get from the Canadian Government, I am not here to debate which Government is offering better perks. I just wanted to make clear that your claim is false regarding dual-citizenship. That's why I keep reiterating that the Indian Constitution doesn't allow dual-citizenship. -snip- what rights are you talking about -snip-
You can find the privileges and restrictions for OCI here

^ The Day Night match between India and Bangladesh is also going to be a one-sided match irrespective of the toss. However, the match between NZ vs ENG is going to be exciting. I'm still confused about which team to pick for the mutual bet. All are welcome to join

Cash dealings are very risky in my opinion. Cash dealings are largely carried out by non-taxpayers and currency counterfeiters. If the buyer is a non-taxpayer, then there is not much of a problem except for the loss of revenue for the Government. But if the buyer is a currency counterfeiter, then the seller is in big trouble. Even though there are ways to identify counterfeit notes, it's hard to identify each and every note. Hence, I would suggest avoiding cash transactions and use bank transfers.

Tbh, I don't give a shit regarding the images posted in the forum, I tend to ignore them if they are not necessary. Regardless, these graphics are completely unnecessary and users should avoid posting them when they are not necessary. Anything that is beyond necessary is bad, either it be a huge wall of text or overuse of graphics.

You mixing up the terms citizenship and residency. Indian Constitution doesn't allow dual-citizenship. But you can have residency anywhere in the world. Just because you are residing/ having a residency in a country doesn't mean that you are a citizen of that country. Many Billionaires have residency in several countries, which doesn't affect their citizenship in anyway.
There is an option called Overseas Citizen of India and i hold dual citizenship and having two passports, i migrated to Canada and i am having Indian and Canadian passport and citizenship, so the idea of it is not possible is not entirely true, but according to constitutional rights i am not an Indian citizen as i am not able to cast a vote but i have life long multiple entry visa to India, so technically i might not be Indian but i can do everything i was doing earlier and i can settle back to India and still earn the Canadian pension and perks . Once again, the Indian Constitution doesn't allow dual citizenship. If you are a citizen of India, you can vote, but in your case, you can't. The same goes for People of Indian Origin (PIO). While a PIO can't stay here indefinitely, an OCI can stay indefinitely in India. But an OCI cannot claim the rights of an Indian citizen. An OCI status acknowledges that you are an Indian by giving you residential rights but it doesn't acknowledge you as a citizen because you are Overseas citizen.

Looks like the CLI binaries available at getmonero.org has been compromised and the users are advised to check the integrity of the binaries they download. Some users noticed the hash of the binaries they downloaded did not match the expected one: https://github.com/monero-project/monero/issues/6151It appears the box has been indeed compromised and different CLI binaries served for 35 minutes. Downloads are now served from a safe fallback source. Always check the integrity of the binaries you download! If you downloaded binaries in the last 24h, and did not check the integrity of the files, do it immediately. If the hashes do not match, do NOT run what you downloaded. If you have already run them, transfer the funds out of all wallets that you opened with the (probably malicious) executables immediately, using a safe version of the Monero wallet (the one online as we speak is safe -- but check the hashes). More information will be posted as several people are currently investigating to get to the bottom of this. Correct hashes are available here (check the signature): https://web.getmonero.org/downloads/hashes.txtsource: https://amp.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/dyfozs/security_warning_cli_binaries_available_on/
