921  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Master the Art of Crypto Trading: Support Our Education and Invest in Knowledge on: August 24, 2023, 06:48:06 AM
I already spent money for my courses. If I had an opportunity I could expand this course for free. I have already spent lots of money to create this content. If you want to double your community in BITCOINTALK or if you want to help people to understand cryptomarket you can donate.
I understand that it costs money to make great lessons, but it doesn't really paint a good picture for you if you're asking for donations like this. Maybe you can start a Patreon while you create content and offer exclusive benefits to your patrons. Alternatively, you can translate or use English as your lesson language instead. At the end of the day though, you should be aware that making educational content through Udemy needs time and resources if you want to make it profitable, such as spending some money on marketing through other means (creating YouTube videos, etc).
922  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: The economy can make mining unprofitable. on: August 24, 2023, 06:36:35 AM
I am not sure what do you mean by the mining can be affected by the country's economy where I am mining?
I suggest you reread OP's post and others' posts since most of them can easily answer your question. You are also mixing Bitcoin and Bitcoin mining activity. Honestly, I'm quite confused about your position since your last sentence seems to imply that you know mining can be unprofitable if the cost and profitability are not friendly to miners.
923  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Looking for a bitcoin lottery miner on: August 24, 2023, 06:25:49 AM
Though HeatBit is considering the average price of three years, I highly doubt we have profits. We do not know the future of Bitcoin. It's volatility can either bless you or take everything away from you.
I remember seeing a thread about it in the past. Not that old so you can visit that thread and see other people's comments about the product. I guess you can argue that it is one of the lottery miner products, although from their advertisement they don't seem to think that way. You should not expect consistent profit from a product like this, stick to the old and tested ASIC or other mining rigs if that's what you're looking for imo.
924  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Sultanate of Oman towards regulating the crypto-assets sector. on: August 24, 2023, 06:03:32 AM
In an article published by the local omanobserver on August 13, it was announced that a mining center was opened in Salalah Governorate, with a value of 135 million Omani Riyals, equivalent to 370 million US dollars.
It is interesting that they use the word data center and cryptocurrency mining center even though the explanations are mostly centered around mining operations. Do they have a plan to extend the activities, or does this mean they offer other services outside of mining activity? Not sure if a legal issue is the reason since even the ministry is present there.
925  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe's First Bitcoin ETF on: August 24, 2023, 05:44:08 AM
Well, it's true that it'll only be accessible by a select few but with the media coverage and popularity it's gaining, it's retail availability could extend, right?
I don't think publicity is going to affect availability that much for products like this. It is not impossible of course, but most considerations are usually related to the product itself (volatility, risk exposure, etc). Retail is probably not the main target for a product like this anyway.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you go about realizing gains? If you opt not to, what is your reason? on: August 23, 2023, 08:02:13 AM
So, you might think that your portfolio is doubled now and its the best time to book profit or at least the investment but believe me that's the biggest mistake one could ever do.
I don't really think that is a mistake. From my experience, there is nothing wrong with securing some profits, especially after a bull cycle because the next run the price of your coins is likely going to plummet. I think believing that you'll eventually make profits when BTC hit $100k or something is way worse than having multiple plans along the way.
927  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining researchers claim new tech ups winning hash chance by 260% on: August 23, 2023, 07:14:37 AM
probably because their method doesn't work if the difficulty level is the current difficulty maybe it only works if the difficulty is really low. otherwise why mention it? but i doubt they have anything useful at all after all of this...
It can also mean that they can't reproduce the current difficulty level in their labs due to various reasons. Probably for legal reasons if they don't plan to scam their future customers to avoid excessive expectations. That being said, it doesn't discount that they just pull out the numbers from their ass since nobody can really verify how they test their so-called mining methodology. CMIIW.
928  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Introducing SuperTrend AI: Your Ultimate Trading Companion on: August 23, 2023, 07:06:45 AM
$500 to use the product, only buyable through Telegram, likely fake reviews from some randomly generated Telegram user. Yeah, no offense but your product looks like a scam as of now. There are tons of AI-powered trading platform nowadays that offers a free trial, free package, cheaper premium package, and so on. Even if you don't scam them, you're certainly overpriced and not worth the money for most users.
929  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trade on Binance via ChatGPT! on: August 23, 2023, 06:17:57 AM
I do not concur, it actually adds up more security vulnerabilities since we are already giving away our sensitive credentials to the third party API that means we are no longer in the control of our own account. Imagine on the broad level where a service who is providing the ChatGPT based trading and we have to connect our Binance or any trading channel with their servers.
I'm not sure you are disagreeing with me or the post that I quote. I do share the same belief that their system is risky, but they can't really change how exchange APIs work although it doesn't excuse them if they make sloppy mistakes like storing customers' databases on plain text. I've asked them how they would make sure the API keys don't get leaked either from their database or other means, but they've yet to answer.
930  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mixing on: August 23, 2023, 06:04:37 AM
What is more ironical about "clean" bitcoins, is that some exchanges consider bitcoins "tainted" after a recent mixing process.
You can just make a few hops (transactions) to other addresses you have, to make that mixing undetected by exchanges.
If I remember it correctly, somebody said their mixed coins were classified as tainted even though they already move them through some addresses. So some exchanges might trace back to more than just one past transaction to see if your coins are "bad" or not. Although if you use a mixer that doesn't really make it hard for exchanges to see that you use them is a bad idea to begin with.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pool.Game Open Beta Plan on: August 22, 2023, 08:53:44 AM
I tried to access your dapp site with a throwaway device and I can at least say that you're very aggressive in asking users to connect their wallets. The UI is also terrible with the fonts being too small, the default language being Chinese, and so on. Maybe you can fix those issues first before trying to promote your platform with AI-powered materials.
932  Economy / Reputation / Re: Say Something about your Bitcointalk Mentor. on: August 22, 2023, 07:47:04 AM
Jokes aside, I had one member who talked a lot with me in the past and suggested many things. He passed away a few years ago though, so we've never met or gotten in touch through other means. As for the rest of the forum-related activities, I'd say that I learned most of them on my own. Other than names like Hal or satoshi, it is hard to call others my "mentors" if you limit it to forum members.
933  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Trade on Binance via ChatGPT! on: August 22, 2023, 06:50:31 AM
using symbol whitelist, you can ensure that transactions are limited to your chosen coins. As for pump-dump activities, it's known that such activities often target low-volume coins. Avoiding these is within your control.
It doesn't remove the risk since hackers can still manipulate them as long as they have enough accounts. Basically, the critical problem is likely how secure your system is. To be fair, you can't change how most exchange APIs work, so the only thing you can improve is securing your customer info. I think you've yet to answer my question about this in the previous post, so it would be better if you can answer.
934  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Searching for New Crypto Debit Card on: August 22, 2023, 06:28:20 AM
And I'm thinking about giving any cheap one a try anytime soon, but only if shipping it down to my country Nigeria won't be expensive.
If you're just thinking of trying not because you need it for the long term, I'd suggest reading some reviews instead. Most of these things require KYC and I don't think giving up $5 for your details is worth it. You might want to check out privacy-focused debit cards, although most of them end up as a scam.
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: running bitcoin software second time. on: August 22, 2023, 05:53:32 AM
Not sure why you need to imagine it when what you describe already happened. So many people run Bitcoin software nowadays, or mine in many different mining rigs. What happen then? Basically more competition if you're talking about mining, and more decentralization if you're referring to nodes. If you want to know how the network split, maybe you should refer to hardfork and how it happened in the past.
936  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Bagaimana Cara Mewariskan Wallet/Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2023, 07:55:52 AM
937  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [DICARI] Nomor verifikasi india on: August 21, 2023, 07:32:34 AM

938  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst (WAJIB BACA) on: August 21, 2023, 07:24:10 AM

939  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Platform Exchanges Di Indonesia on: August 21, 2023, 06:52:53 AM

Who knows.
