Too many expressions were being shared here hehe. Just wait for the Game 3 results.

I don't want this too much speculation that Ginebra is nothing now just because they lose in Game 1. The Dragons are tough, what do others think of this team? Bettor to watch what would be their strategy now that the Dragons were able to expose their weakness.

In Game 2, only Brownlee established good scoring. If they still lose the next game despite locals also having good numbers, then that's what I call a problem.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 11:00:24 PM
I'm a sports betting enthusiast for a long but at the same time, playing also in casino games. The amount I'm risking at both is just the same.

No specific reason why even as a sports bettor, still playing at casino games. Gambling is gambling in the first place.

I do suggest OP check Stake.com.

But just curious here, if OP is doing sports betting for a long, where did he place his bets? Maybe, not have much experience in crypto-bookies yet?
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 31, 2022, 11:55:13 PM
And we indeed have to know our own limits, so we don't use excess money to play gambling.

The reality is, users will really end up depositing more of their extra money in able to reach the eligibility requirements for the said promotions.

I don't see what's the point of having an interest in joining promotions if they don't have the expectation that will really end up doing several deposits.

Setting limits is fine but might not be followed properly if aiming for getting the rewards on bonuses or promotions.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 31, 2022, 11:51:05 PM
I can relate to this kind of experience because sometimes, when I am winning too much, I often increase my bet size which is out of my norm because normally I only play with minimal bet sized.

I have that kind of habit too when winning big since no pain, no gain lol.

In that particular situation, I'm setting up a limit depending on how much I win.

For example, if winning $200 on a big win, either via a bonus game, buy-in, or related features, I will risk $100 to lose after that. If the risked amount got busted, regardless of what my emotion is telling me to do so, I will try to follow my set limit as possible as I can.

I'm now used to doing that.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 31, 2022, 11:39:26 PM
Hesitation is always part of gambling, it's normal. After the game 1 win of the Ginebra, we thought that they will just easily win the series because non only they beat the Bay Area in game 1 but they also beat them during the regular season, so it's 2-0, but after game 2, we are now losing our faith on Ginebra because they are outplayed in game 2, come on guys, it's just one game, the series is still tied.

Seriously? Who are these people? Maybe just a wild guess?

I do bet on Ginebra to win the series but I didn't end up in a thought that Ginebra winning Game 1 will make the series an easy win for them. That was a crappy reference and basis if there are people who really think that.

And losing faith in Ginebra after losing in Game 2? Even let's say that I'm unable to bet on Ginebra in this series, I just found it nonsense that after the Dragons were able to dominate Ginebra in Game 2, that's already an automatic win for the Dragons to win the series.

Let's just watch how the game goes.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 31, 2022, 11:33:17 PM
I think Nash would have been fine along with the Nets if they just gave them some time.

I have to agree with this but the Nets are under pressure as they really need to consider what's the best thing to do that will benefit the whole team.

If only they can keep Nash and Durant at the same time, things will go smoothly. A personal problem between them that is not exactly mentioned and surely no solutions to solve that not unless there is someone that needed to be let go.

Moving forward, seems the Nets are now slowly seeing the results of their decision. Hope to keep it that way.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 31, 2022, 11:07:44 PM

I already said this many times before here, I don't consider my gambling activity as "just" for fun. People think that losing money on gambling is just fine because their argument will be, they are just having fun. They don't realize that those loss amounts in total, in the long run, are now getting bigger and bigger, and still, it's still fun. There's no fun in losing money.

Isn't it even more fun if we will able to maintain our consistency in winning?

We risk money on gambling to expect winnings and not just to have fun. But I respect their views if they really see gambling that way.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing the big multipliers in soccer on: December 29, 2022, 07:30:15 PM
If he lost, not so bad with his pocket as he is not betting big.
But if he won, that's a good sum amount of money. So he will be lucky in case he got those right.
One win from those bets, will already give him his initial funds. But if it parlay, I am guessing he will lose it.
Well, we know if the odds are high, usually, the bookies are right. But who knows they may be wrong also.
Usually, I don't chase big multipliers because most of the time, you will lose on this bet.

Only "if". That high odds obviously have an associated low chance of happening.

If we do that regularly and hope for that expectation, you won't notice that the small bets you are placing are now big in total.

It's good to bet on the underdog (I sometimes do this at basketball matches) but at least don't just be attracted blindly and easily to the high odds. As much as possible, make sure that our chosen underdogs do really have a good chance to turn the table upside down.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 29, 2022, 07:23:54 PM
I am not aware of this service. What bookies or website offer this kind of service? I do not need this kind of service yet because I am still very much in control of my gambling habits. But, just in case I ever need one, I would like to know where to avail.

Stake.com has that feature. https://stake.com/policies/self-exclusion

I remember there was a user here before that complained about it since he's still receiving email-related service or anything related to gambling that's not helping him to stay away from gambling.

I understand that technical problems should be solved by the site itself but is it really the thing to blame why the user is having a hard time staying away from gambling? For sure even just browsing social media, gambling-related ads are anywhere.

While there are platforms that help us to control our gambling activity, we should also do adjustments and help ourselves.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: December 29, 2022, 07:11:38 PM
I will personal advice against betting on matches that are already ongoing, not saying its bad though, but I don't just like betting on matches that are already in play, I have seen gamblers encounter system errors that lead them to loosing really big amount of money while they were betting on games that were live in play.

Isn't it just a mostly isolated case? I don't understand how the money will lose on system errors.

Not techy or an expert but as far as I know, if the bet didn't go through, no money will leave the user's balance.

However, expect that putting money on live betting does have a fast phase as odds changes frequently even for just a second. Especially for those doing parlays on the live bets, expect that some bets might not be properly placed because of the sudden change of odds or match being suspended in betting.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 29, 2022, 07:02:17 PM
^^ 4 fights per year might be too much for Casimero or any boxer, he is not getting any younger, so he needs to be selective on how he is going to fight next in his new division.

Kidding aside, not that 4 fights per year but as long as his camp is able to secure a fight with a tough opponent and boxer with a good rank, for sure Casimero will likely be eligible again to face a World Champion. Again, just do his best to always win his next fight to gain attention.

As far as recent reports are concerned, Casimero's camp is trying to make an attempt to fight former Mexican former two-division world champion, Luis Nery. Let's see how it will go. That's a good pick.

What I'm thinking before is that Inoue or Bob Arum might chose Casimero as Inoue's foe in his debut at 122 lbs. but I guess that won't be happening this time because speculations shows that the WBO super champion will go directly against Fulton.

Even with no plans on taking Fulton directly once Inoue moved up, still impossible for Bob Arum to consider Casimero, in its current state, as a better opponent for the so-called Japanese monster. Arum strongly believes that Inoue is untouchable and for him to consider Casimero, Quadro Alas should just shut down all his next opponents to make some noise.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where do you bet on wwe matches? on: December 29, 2022, 06:45:55 PM
I don't think there will be a casino that will add this because it looks like it can be rigged especially the winner can be arranged by the organizers of the WWE, I am also not interested in betting if it is added at the casino

I wouldn't consider calling it rigged because, in the first place, it's no secret that every match is scripted. They are not rigging it for intentional purposes nor attempting to gain the benefit from doing it. Somehow, There's even a progressing story there and that makes it an Entertainment show.

There's really no way for bookies to even consider adding bets on this event for an obvious reason.

There are other fighting sports that are legit as an official match and consider betting on those instead.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 29, 2022, 06:25:16 PM
Japeth is not consistent yet, has not seen a good him from him, it seemed like he was intimidated with the size of the Bay Area, unlike in the all Filipino cup where only JMF is the biggest defender he will have to beat. This is different, Bay Area is moving the ball very well, there in and out offense is clicking and Ginebra has not made the right adjustment in game 2.

As a veteran PBA player and played for Gilas against several countries already, Japeth Aguilar is surely not intimidated by the Bay Area Dragon's tallest players or anyone within a superstar level. It's really noticeable for him that since the start of this conference, his usual numbers and averages went down. He is really not making noise here in playoffs and it's just one time he did step up this playoff during the time Christian Standhardinger was thrown out of the game on their Game 4 bout in the Manila Clasico.

Maybe there are other reasons why Japeth is behaving like that since then.

A self-problem that he needs to overcome as Ginebra badly needs his usual performance and playing level.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2022, 06:12:48 PM
The Nets have been really impressive lately, and it looks like the new head coach is doing well, but I'm still skeptical about this team. The problem is that no one knows what will come to Irving's mind in the future. Don't get me wrong, Irving performs well at the moment, and he's a significant contributor to the Nets' wins. However, we should keep in mind that he did some irresponsible things before, and there is no guarantee he won't let his team down again.

Actually, there are 3 divas there that once being on a bad day, expect the whole team is affected.

However, if these 3, or even the original 2, will keep their self only focus on basketball and not anyone else, expect that they are a dangerous and serious threat to anyone. We already know the capability of Durant and Irving once they fully unleashed their best performance.

Nice to see that the Nets management somehow sees the team in quite good shape after those dramas and issues that hit them hard last season and during the off-season. If their winning consistency keeps up, it just shows all their players and relationships with staff and everyone in the organization are doing well.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running a casino during crypto crash on: December 29, 2022, 05:39:24 PM
but I don't know how the casinos can also make good money in times of inflation than doing the same pattern.

Just continuing their usual operation obviously. Enhancing and improving the marketing side in order attract more users.

Whatever the trend, be it worst or very worst, there are still people that will gamble no matter what.

This is now the task of casinos, to continue attracting these people that still gamble regardless of the economic situation and market trend. If the said casinos are able to gather more loyal users to their sites, they will surely withstand any economic condition even amid a crypto crash as their operations just continue smoothly.
936  Other / Off-topic / Re: Team USA will play in the Philippines for the FIBA WORLD CUP 2023 on: December 29, 2022, 05:30:33 PM
Price of entertainment is high but worth it if you are a die hard fan.

That's what others don't get it. The feeling is not mutual for those who just know basketball and for those die-hard fans. If others looked at the price of a ticket as pricey, then so be it but don't generalize that buying those tickets is somehow not practical.

As I said, we should even not talk about these average-salary concerns, etc. That was out of context. Tell that to a die-hard fan lol.

If others don't want to purchase a ticket for their own reasons, then just allow those other people instead who have the interest to buy tickets for their own reason too. During the time Vince Carter visit our University way back in my college days, I really got stunned seeing him. What's more, the level of excitement if there are lots of NBA Superstars at the same time in front of my eyes.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Using Bonus Buy or Not Using Bonus Buy? on: December 29, 2022, 05:22:16 PM
I have not tested this about buying the bond, but why do the probabilities increase if we buy this bond? Is there a type of leverage like in trading? I understand that the bonuses to be withdrawn is very difficult, almost impossible to do so, what I don't like sometimes is that these bonuses can be a double-edged sword, if you win you can't withdraw until you have a great wager and that is something that limits a lot, it means that a person has to be very close to playing, risking each time the way to win, so I don't know, I think that sometimes we play with our money without a bonus, if we lose we accept it, in Otherwise, it is likely that it will be withdrawn in its entirety without any conditions.

The bonus that is being discussed here is not the usual bonus where it needs a wagering requirement or sort.

The bonus game is a slot feature where users can buy directly the bonus feature of the game be it as a mini-game or in the form of free spins. In the bonus game, chances of getting big multipliers are possible, and if by luck, we can end up with a big win after the bonus game.

There's a risk though that sometimes, you will end up with only a few winnings compared to the amount you spend to buy the bonus.

Much worst, literally, no winning like a shortcut to losing when you do manual spin for let's say, a $50 overall amount with no good wins on the way.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 28, 2022, 07:51:35 PM

Who wants to ride me in local betting here in my place? Since the series got even, an additional Php 10,000 is being challenged against me by those Dragons bettors here. No way I will cover that whole amount but they are open up to Php 10,000.

If anyone wants to take a ride, you can ping me here. Smiley

With that 2 game series, we didn't see a close game yet. Since both teams now experience defeat by a large margin, I'm expecting adjustment over adjustment and that might result in a much tougher and close match next game.

The Dragons are able to limit Ginebra's local but failed to put Brownlee in a tough spot. He always remains consistent. The lack of support from the locals is the one that the Kings should address and I'm sure they are already aware of it.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: December 28, 2022, 07:45:00 PM
It is always good for a newbie gambler to try all this types of bettings so as to know the one that will be suit themselves and choose the best plan and strategies to use, this will help him understand the pattern the best and how to easily play through in that particular kind of betting, and it is always advisable as well to learn this betting types very well before using a large amount of money to gamble them since you're just a newbie by then on a learning ground, this are common mistakes that could be avoided in other to make betting in gambling enjoyable for beginners.

Not that newbies should try all that and find what suits them. It's not a usual strategy but rather a betting option.

Honestly, no need to engage in all those betting types and it's not necessary to know them all. If one feels like always sticking with Moneyline for example, then it is just fine to keep it that way in the long run. It doesn't that by knowing all of them, you can utilize your winnings. Games are unpredictable and "approaches are different depending on the sport".

This is really bad since they're not familiar and not know what's the condition of the bet to win.

I can't imagine who will put a bet on something they don't understand.

Betting on handicaps, total points, etc., and have no idea about that?

Maybe they just got those bets by a tip.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OneShot Golf on gambling casinos? on: December 28, 2022, 07:37:12 PM

Does this game have a feature for finding your preferred opponents?

If yes, then gambling with your friends is possible. A possible local tournament can be formed with this with a prize pool at stake.

Don't expect this game to be included in a gambling casino as this is not a usual casino game where users are betting against the house. If a game like that will be introduced in gambling, I'm expecting it to be released on its own platform and not alongside the usual casino games.
