921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading gambling in another form? on: September 24, 2022, 09:24:36 PM
Gambling is betting something valuable on an uncertainty outcome right? Isn't this the same with Trading?/i mean even pro traders said out of 10 trades you can lose 4 and win 6, is this not a form of gambling? I had this argument with few of my friends that are traders some hours ago and I will like to here from you all what hou think about this.
Trading is not like gambling . gambling is totally different thing . trading is like a stock business . you can buy and sell a coin or product digitally . here one trader can get profit or loss some. but gambling is a bad Addiction and this is done by betting on something.  There are two aspects here.  A person will either win and win a sum of money.  Otherwise he loses his bet and loses all his funds
Yes I agree with what you said that there is a clear difference between trading and gambling,
gambling is more dominated by luck but for trading it requires knowledge and skills,
Gambling will not make us rich and will only make us lose, sometimes profit
Trading also depend on luck some time. but it is normally depend in knowledge and good skill. and for gambling skill & knowledge also help to win. but must of the time it depend in luck

Gambling can also make someone rich but need a better luck . and trading can make someone rich to poor . it also can happen but we can't say gambling and trading is same. Two are different things and both have risk
^I don't know if this is right, but for me, trading is trading, you cannot be called gambling, and gambling is gambling you cannot call them trading. They always have different functions. It is a dump if you go in trading without knowledge right? You cannot be called gambling if you don't have knowledge of trading, or if you are based on luck. However, gambling is purely based on luck, and skills are required but the majority is luck.
People need to understand that trading is not an easy way to make money.

922  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a game you would like to see in an online crypto casino? on: September 24, 2022, 09:18:37 PM
-  Maybe if I want to see a game in crypto gambling it is the Tong-its game, because now it can be downloaded on any mobile device whether Android or IOS. But in crypto gambling, you will not see this.

This is a gambling game known in the Philippines that is loved by most Filipinos. This game has been around for a long time and recently when the pandemic started if I'm not mistaken they went through digital or virtual games. Hopefully, in the future, a crypto gambling will adopt this and for sure many Filipinos will be happy when it happens.
^ As I know there is.
But it is not directly supported by cryptocurrency, you need to convert your cryptocurrency to its own coins and then convert it to fiat or crypto when you wanted to withdraw. Tong-its is a very popular game in Asian countries, every card game is very exciting to play including poker, tong-its and pusoy which are very common, and I am also looking forward to this. But I will not agree if this is only on Andriod or IOS app only, it should be on a website that we know is more secure to play than the app.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top mistakes of newbies in crypto on: September 24, 2022, 09:12:53 PM

3. unrealistic expectations

Don't get manipulated by profits you see online. 100k profits on a  trading account or a sport car.  you will never achieve that with your $1000 account. understand that and be real with you.

This is indeed one of the most relevant now, because in fact nowadays especially for beginners sometimes always make the thought that Crypto is the most instant way to earn money and obviously in this case it is actually a mistake because with this kind of hope it indirectly encourages them on the brink because they are always on the lookout for something instant like shitcoins that expect pumps and hype. They think this is the right move but in fact they have been trapped in a false hope.
^Probably they thought that trading in crypto is easy to make money, just execute buy and sell but if fact, they did not know how to predict correctly the market. False hope would be the main problem of the newbie especially when they heard about profit, they don't know the whole mechanics of how it will work, they don't know the right process or in a technical way, and they don't have an idea of how in trading makes money.
Probably that is the reason most them becomes a victim of a pyramid scheme or any double money scheme that give sweet promise to them to double their money in just a matter of time.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 24, 2022, 09:05:21 PM
During the time I gambled a little, I was not afraid to keep my deposit in the casino wallet. This is primarily due to the fact that the casino had a good reputation and my balance was not significant, not to mention the winnings. If I could hit a big jackpot, I would prefer to withdraw all the prize money to a personal address. Not because from that moment on, faith in the reputation of that online casino has drastically shaken, but because crypto can only be called your own if you alone have access to it. In general, the same is true with any money.
^That is definitely right, even how big or small it is not ideal to leave our money/crypto on any gambling platform because even though how reputable they are, the time comes or it can be easily shaken when the time comes they will ruin their reputation. I rarely leave money in gambling casinos even though below $50 because I know that I don't know when I gamble again. I know there are some gambling casino that will automatically lock or delete your account of you are not active in 3 months.
925  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 24, 2022, 08:57:18 PM
~snip~
<...>
For starters, why claim to be a "no-KYC" casino when you can actually request KYC verification from any player at any time? Second, who gives you the legal right to collect any user personal information? What is your company? Where are you registered? Which jurisdiction?

If you feel the questions have already been answered, please direct me to the post in which they were discussed. I would really appreciate it.
^ I also wanted to know regarding this matter, it is very important if OP gives these details so that users of this gambling casino will lessen their doubt regarding the KYC. Because it will probably be possible a loophole when they saw a NO-KYC but when they withdraw it will ask KYC, it seems very frustrating if that will be on my side. Op just answer this question publicly so that you will know if your gambling casino is worth entrusting our fund not to become a scam.

927  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB (Looking for) sportsbook sportsbetting script on: September 23, 2022, 10:23:09 PM
If you start a casino buying a script is dangerous ca be many holes on this people can hack your site and steal all bitcoins.
^ This is very true, I would prefer to hire a legitimate developer than buy a ready-made Sportsbetting script.
There are many scenarios here where those who bought gambling script becomes suspected of copy-pasting into other gambling casinos become their reputation were ruined. Think about the future when your gambling casino becomes popular, there are too many possible troubles that you probably encounter if you will force yourself to buy gambling casino script.
928  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy bitcoin on: September 23, 2022, 10:05:40 PM
Hey guys,
So I know this is common question but where is a good place to buy a large amount of bitcoin with no to little fees.
Be careful about any private messages you get after this, either claiming to be vendors or referring you to a website you can buy or someone else. It is a scam. Follow strictly wherever you are referred to here on the thread by trusted high ranking forum members and not in you inbox. 50k is not an amount you want to loose.
^ It should always be in a legitimate exchange and in a decentralized exchange.
BISQ and HODL HODL are the best P2P exchange if you want to buy crypto for privacy purposes, it is a direct transaction between seller and buyer that has the same purpose of anonymity. That is right, 50k is a huge amount but I suggest purchasing on that exchange little by little so that it will easily move your orders. It is now possible if there is an exchange that there is no fee, that is how they generate profit through their fee, it is better if you care about your privacy.
929  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or Technical Analyst. Which one are you? on: September 23, 2022, 09:54:57 PM
There are people who have made a fortune trading Bitcoin with technical analysis, sir. Just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's not working for others.
TA works, probably if it’s not working you just miss something or better yet try to combine it with the FA.
Fundamental and Technical analysis are both ok, this can be a good combination for you to be more successful. Many traders failed not because of TA but simply because of their emotion and being irresponsible. We can’t always win in trading and the only way to increase the chance of making profit is by doing your own analysis every time you trade or invest, don’t think for an easy money just be consistent.
^Definitely right, technical analysis, and fundamental analysis are both good for analyzing the market sentiments. If you will combine these two different analyses it could gather more accurate predictions of the market price. So there is no need to choose which one of them is the best because both are very useful in trading what you need. Some traders prefer to have more than one reference in analysis so that they can predict with have an accurate result.
However, all of these are just a tool in trading, it always remains unpredictable on the side of the crypto market.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: September 23, 2022, 09:36:23 PM
It is important to never ever confuse a token with something even remotely similar to a stock share or any legal instrument conferring property. Tokens are pretty much unregulated and they carry a million pages long disclaimer which can usually be summed up in: you are giving your money but you have not rights, particularly you have no right to complaint no matter what I decide to do.
^ It seems that you have a point but in my mind still have this question, how do you determine them as a good investment, by a reputable name?
But in a new gambling company that has a token to invest, that is not a good investment at all, it should be already a very popular and reputable name like freebitco.in that investors on token never doubt. However, investing in tokens is very risky, and there is no assurance of having profit.
931  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Microstrategy purchased again 301BTC. Is this a sign? on: September 22, 2022, 10:19:25 PM
They always buy bitcoin every time it dips, and that's not even guarantee that the Bitcoin's price will go deeper, maybe it is the other way around, it'll pump but not an indicator of a continuous bull market. The biggest advice is that always trade with precautions, don't get easily baited by FUDs and just sell your coins because of having a panic.

Here's their purchase history.
^Are they the largest BTC holders, right?
After this purchase, they owned 130k BTC and which is quite a huge amount worth billions of dollars.
This is what I worried about when big companies sell their BTC holding all at once, possibly the market would suffer and cannot recover quickly. Let us hope that someday they will not dump the market in just a day. However, this is a part of the good news that another company believed BTC.
932  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: September 22, 2022, 10:08:45 PM
If the bot uses does not make a script inserted with the game like makes the manipulation in the game there's nothing to worry about it but if there's some manipulation like injecting scripts I guess it quite gets trouble, if the bot is just used to make an auto clicker and bet I guess it is just okay because it does not make the game manipulated. Always check their Terms and condition and their FaQs to make sure it does not bring trouble if you would like to use one.
I think that is the first step people need to do, I suppose that some casinos will be fine with a bot that just lets you click faster but without a doubt all of them will be against any bot that may try to attempt to mess with their code or with the results themselves, many people do not take the time to read the TOS but in this case it is really important as no one wants to lose their casino account they have been building for months or even years just because they downloaded a bot from who knows where.
^ I have this question in my mind and since I did not a fan of this gambling bot I become curious.
How do we determine that the bot did not have the script injected? Because sometimes I am thinking about using a bot but I am always worried about their legitimacy. However, that is a good action while encountering a  new gambling casino, always read the ToS to stay away from troubles in the future and avoid violating their rules.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 22, 2022, 09:58:38 PM
~snip~

I only leave money on casino balance if it’s less than 1000$ or less but this is only applicable on casino that I used for more than a year.

What about you guys? Do you leave your balance in your casino balance or you withdraw immediately regardless of the reputation of the casino?
^ I choose regardless of the casino's reputation and it should have a business here like having a signature campaign promoted.
The reputation of the casino will always matter upon trusting funds, from deposit until you will withdraw it just make sure they can be entrusted gambling so that you will not worry about the possible scam. But I will not let my fund sleep ohn the gambling casino wallet, probably just 1-3 days on the gambling wallet, and withdraw if you are not consistently using them.
934  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: September 22, 2022, 09:47:42 PM
^That is a good catch.
When every time there is a new gambling casino introduced here in the forum we should always check the ToS not only what they post it here and claim they are a NO-KYC gambling casino. Probably now we begin to doubt this gambling casino and we hope that they give an explanation about this, it could be a loophole for the gamblers to become their fund stuck if they don't comply with KYC which is a very common strategy for those shady gambling casinos.
However, it will probably be a mistake too.
935  Economy / Gambling / Re: Will duelbits pay 20k bet? on: September 21, 2022, 10:57:39 PM
If someone bet high amount (20k)+ on this casino and win  like 2-5x time more his money.

would the casiino pay him or find excuse not to pay and ban his account?
^ Just make sure that you did not violate the ToS and you will be fine.
As long as it is a reputable casino they will never do shitty activities and I know they will not do that because they are here in the forum for how many years to build their reputation and it took how many years before they gained that and I don't think they will let this thing happen to ruin their reputation.
So probably, this will not happen.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch gambling problem and Sliker issue on: September 21, 2022, 10:45:18 PM
~snip~
I think they will monitor the progress. and if there are more similar cases popping up in the future, I'm sure Twitch will make policy updates to tighten the rules and prevent similar things from happening in the future. otherwise, eventually people will no longer have faith in Twitch as the leading platform.
^ Or it becomes worst instead we are waiting for progress many users of Twitch will switch to another platform because of this and I hope this will not happen to them. I don't have enough knowledge too on this platform but it seems they think that promoting gambling casinos that are based on house edge (unlike sportsbook and poker) can ruin their reputation. But let us wait for the result and we hope they are not ended up with a negative result.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 21, 2022, 09:48:27 PM
What do you guys think of this development?
According to the published article, the reason for the ban is due to backlash they(Twitch) received from influencers.

Do you think backlash received from influencers is enough reason for Twitch to ban gambling streaming on their platform?
That’s enough reason to restrict those streamers because probably, this can ruin the reputation of the platform if they continue to allow it. Twitch should be more strict with this since this is gambling and we know how risky it is and many will expose to that, so if there’s any misinformation or spreading too much hype probably viewers will be affected by this.
^ The main reason could be abusing streamers that influence people through their bad streaming style.
Probably because streamers only care for the affiliate program to make money and not the content and probably that could be the reason for banning those gambling platforms there. I know it hurts anyone who relies on that platform, there are a lot of people who will get hurt especially those streamers, and also gambling casinos may reduce their target audience.
938  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.us social casino review- Play legally at Stake in US on: September 20, 2022, 10:37:20 PM
~snip~
If playing at Stake.us sounds interesting to you, you can check our detailed review: https://thecryptobonus.com/stake-us-sweepstakes/
^ I did not know that there is a US version of stake which is now the US gamblers did not worry about using a VPN because they can access stake without that VPN. The same on the exchange Binance.us, it is only for US users, but for sure due to that country being very strict, possibly the KYC verification also being very heavy on this, we know how the US was very strict when it comes to this kind of business. However, this is good news to gamblers that come from the US.
939  Economy / Gambling / Re: I beat Duelbits on: September 20, 2022, 10:23:39 PM
I think Op doesn't know that beating a huge casino site is not that easy. The result is just proof that he has won a good amount in betting but it doesn't mean that won over it. $300 is just nothing compared to big-time gamblers. You can look at the betting records and you will be shocked by the betting amount and winnings of big-time players.
Some gamblers claims to beat the site but in reality they cannot, because that profit can lose again if they choose to continue to play. Maybe OP is just leaving the site right away to secure the profit and that can be consider as winning but in the end, if they came back to gamble I’m sure he will fall on the trap of the gambling system again. Beating the site might be the top goal for many gamblers, but in reality it’s not easy even top gamblers will find a hard time for this.
^But I understand here the OP why creating this thread, he is claiming to beat the house but in fact, he is very happy with what he winning and probably he was happy on that amount thinking that he beat duelbits. Probably he was just very lucky at that time by believing GGG, but I know once we won the match our eagerness to place a bet in the next match will be there, and at that time we don't know if we will win or loss.
However, in the casino side, there is nothing to worry about because that gambling casino is trusted already here.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino Stake.com sued for $400 million on: September 17, 2022, 09:23:34 PM
snip

Seeing that legal battle what Stake currently facing on will make people doubt about their current condition since imagine if they lose to that case there's huge amount will be taken on their stash. And its valid concern for people since maybe this could be the reason on why stake will fall.

But let see how the case proceed and for sure many of curious people want to know the further developments happening to this.
400m is indeed a big amount but considering on how long and how profitable stake is in crypto space then i do believe that it wont be a reason for it to be closing down.
Yes,it might result on a big hit but wont be enough on wiping its existence on the market or would be closing down. They might affect big on their overall revenue but
if things comes back to normal then it would really be just easy as pie on recovering  those losses that they do have if ever Freeman would really win up
this case and getting that 400m.
^ It could be a big amount but I don't think it will affect the entire operation, Stake has been here for how many years and I think that is long enough for them to save a million dollars for their revenue. If there is no other way to settle the case I think to continue their business they need to pay that amount. However, I did not see any sign that because this Stake will fall, that is still a very small amount for them, they are a big company right and that has a very popular name kin the online gambling industry and I think they need to come up with this problem.
