941  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: March 02, 2018, 07:37:05 AM
What do you think are the effects of btc in your country? Because in my country it thus not affect the economy of ours. Share yours.

Bitcoin should be totally adopted into the mainstream first before it can cause effects on economy. Many governments have no plans to make bitcoin as a legal tender or being use as a part of their monetary system because of its decentralized structure. Here in my country, bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are under the regulation of exchanges and use only for online transactions. The number of businesses and users of cryptocurrencies here are not yet significant so the effects is still minimal.
942  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the Bull Market Return in 2018? What's Your Prediction? on: March 01, 2018, 12:50:18 PM
There are already a sign of steady gains in the cryptocurrency markets after a period of dips or correction and this price accumulation encounters only some minor corrections. Some crypto analysts speculated that the market started to show bullish sentiment once again and they are optimistic that the bull market sentiment will continue. Most of the predictions are based on speculation and no one can exactly know if this bullish sentiment is prelude to the anticipated bullrun in the second half of this year.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: March 01, 2018, 03:36:22 AM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?

Investing on a bitcoin is very good idea but risky. Bitcoin's volatility and rapid fluctuation should be considered before investing it for the use of your children in the future. This includes the safety of the kind of storage you will going to use for storing the bitcoin for long time until your children grows up. Aside from bitcoin, I would also consider buying some other top cryptocurrencies like ethereum for my children because of their ability to grow for long term. There are still many good cryptocurrencies that have the potential for higher growth in the future and they are suitable to store for your children.
944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: March 01, 2018, 03:14:39 AM
Bitcoin price crash is nothing new because there were many crashes that already happened in the past. Bitcoin worst crash happened last 2013 and 2017, it downed by 87% and 59% respectively and in this crashes, bitcoin is proclaimed dead by many of its critics. Bitcoin regularly comes back to life after this worst crashes and manage to regain its bullishness later. I believe bitcoin will remain to be the top cryptocurrency for more years and can always manage to comeback despite of many challenges it will face.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: March 01, 2018, 01:16:58 AM
There are many cryptocurrencies that worth-investing and all you need is to know them first if they have the the potential to grow in the future. I believe many of this potential currencies will continue to make a significant growth in the coming years. These solid cryptocurrencies are all good to put in a long term hold and you have only to wait for their price to become more profitable in the future.
946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC or ETH? on: March 01, 2018, 12:55:58 AM
Ethereum and litecoin are two of the most promising cryptocurrecnies and both prices have experienced significant growth recently. In this two coins, I still prefer ethereum because of its big growth potential in the future and its price has grown in value quicker than litecoin. Ethereum draw much interests from wider crypocurrency community than litecoin because of smart contracts feature. It is also one of the most traded cryprocurrencies in the world with more than a million transactions taking place in some days.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: February 28, 2018, 12:17:47 PM
It's good to hear that bitcoin interest in the Philippines continues to grow. There are already a significant number of of bitcoin users in the Philippines and their Central Bank is also reported to make some measures to legalize the cryptocurrency in this Southeast Asian countries. Movement towards proper legalization comes after much consideration, monitoring and consultation with their Central Bank.
948  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: February 27, 2018, 02:49:19 AM
Starting a business with earnings from bitcoin is a good idea and that is one of the things I want to do when I already saved enough bitcoin. There are many kind of business that don't require much funds to start and all you have to do is research first and find the business that is best suited to you. Starting a business have also a risk so it is better to learn how to manage your business properly to avoid some problems that you might encounter in the future.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a true Cryptocurrency? on: February 27, 2018, 12:48:12 AM
I guess that the question should be what is a cryptocurrency, so here we go, what makes something a crypto or not a crypto?

Not all cryptocurrencies are decentralized, some of them are centralized like ripple. Ripple is still classified as cryptocurrency, but the way it was developed and operates are different from other cryptocurrencies. It is built upon the idea of distributed ledger which requires parties to participate in validating transactions rather than any singular and centralized authority. So ripple is more centralized cryptocurrency in a decentralized space.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP - 10$ THIS YEAR! on: February 26, 2018, 12:15:28 PM
I think the best price could ripple reach for this year is $5, half of what is predicted. But if the banks adopted Ripple technology as payment processing system replacing the SWIFT system, it price might go up and even surpass the $10. Ripple is a highly potential cryptocurrency that is set to disrupt the banking industry with its own promises of speed, scalability and low transaction cost.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: February 26, 2018, 07:23:29 AM
You can't eliminate banks but they will evolve instead and became part of that so called cashless society. Think about blockchain technology, which is a distributed database that made the cryptocurrencies possible, it is the technology that is more likely to have the greatest impact on managing and transferring money to the very concept of national currency. Many banks will later adopt or use the blockchain technology to improve their services and this adoption will revolutionize the whole banking industry the coming years.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: February 26, 2018, 03:54:22 AM
Many coins particularly the altcoins have the potential to become the future of the cryptocurrencies because they had better features than bitcoin. They are cheaper alternatives because of their transaction speed and lower fees. Those high potential coins have also advanced technology like a 3 second transaction speed. Some of the coins that has a good future are Ethereum, Litecoin, IOTA, Cardano, ARK and Steem
953  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: February 26, 2018, 03:19:18 AM
A lot of people has invested or bought bitcoins including those who uses banks for their savings. Bitcoin is becoming the people's currency because many are preferred to invest in it than in the banks. It has also the potential to become a new currency that can possibly replace any national currency in the future and it can't even controlled by governments and big banks. This is the reason why banks want to limit the cryptocurrency potential because they are really threatened by its popularity.
954  Economy / Economics / Re: is there any economic effect for the country or bitcoin users on: February 24, 2018, 01:45:54 AM
now there are some countries that began to issue a ban on the use of bitcoin, is there any influence on the country and of course its users in economic value?

The effect would be minimal because bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not yet fully use in many countries around the world. The use of bitcoin in business and financial sectors are still low because it is not yet fully adopted in mainstream. The most affected are the individual users and investors of bitcoin but they are only comprised of small segment in the society to make an effect on economy.
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology and healthcare on: February 24, 2018, 01:25:27 AM
It is time for blockchain technology to be use also in healthcare and a big opportunity is waiting for its implementation. There are already healthcare providers in some countries particularly the US that utilizes blockchain technology for better health services and delivery. The disruptive technology can be use in medical records for pharmaceutical supply chain, payment distributions and decentralized medical networks. It can surely revolutionize health care system because it has many useful applications.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should i do after buying bitcoin on: February 24, 2018, 12:00:02 AM
Try holding the bitcoin for some months and wait it to grow before taking profit. It is  better to put bitcoin in a long term hold than selling it once its price go up slightly. Avoid panic selling when the price go down because it only ordinary for bitcoin to undergo a correction. Don't easily believe in some news that are just spreading FUD, research them first.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: February 23, 2018, 11:51:30 PM
Both bitcoin and ethereum are profitable and have all the ability to reach many all-time highs like what the two coins shown in their past growth performance. The only difference is their price, bitcoin is much higher than the ethereum and is more profitable if you put it in long term hold. Ethereum price, on other hand, is much cheaper and affordable to buy. I'm holding both bitcoin and ethereum because I believe that this two cryptocurrencies are still the most profitable to hold in the years to come.
958  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: February 23, 2018, 04:45:37 AM
Getting rich with bitcoin is possible but it is full of risks. There are already a number of people that became millionaires by investing during the bitcoin's early years. Presently, many people are trying to make gains in bitcoin by investing a big amount of money and hoping to get rich quickly. Investing in bitcoin today is no longer the same because it is more risky and there is a high degree of unpredictability in the market.
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think this year will be Red? on: February 23, 2018, 04:08:54 AM

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

There will be a mixed of both red and green because there are some months of bullish uptrend and mild corrections. This negative and positive growth is a normal part of cryptocurrency and it is one of the reasons of having profits. When dip or corrections happen, this is the right time to buy cryptocurrencies because of their lower price. In buying the dip, you don't have to wait longer for your coin to grow unlike others who brought their coins during high price.
960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stabilizes? on: February 23, 2018, 03:32:20 AM
As of now bitcoin prices never stabilizes because it fluctuates rapidly and it is the most volatile currency. If the volatility period of bitcoin is over, then it will become stable. Bitcoin price's high volatility is a result of uncontrolled speculation brought by both positive and negative factors. One possibility of controlling the price volatility of bitcoin is to put it under regulatory authority but that might not be possible because it is decentralized nature.
