It is good news that the Philippine Government is open on cryptocurrency. Hope knowledge on cryptocurrency will be thought to the people that are less fortunate.

This could be another leap towards the future. If bitcoins will now be used as a form of legal tender it will become even more popular and can now be used legally for transactions. This could create more market for bitcoins and thus making it more profitable.

That is seems to be a good decision to the government. In fact, your country have been supporting bitcoin because they wanted to help their people to become rich. Bitcoin in the Philippines is very popular and people are attracted to the high price of Bitcoin.

That's very positive to hear government officials in pursuit of bitcoins as well as its regulation. This would positively help to streamline the activities of bitcoins and also increase the demand for bitcoins

I don't know if it's a good thing or not. Since the philippines is a very corrupt country, people will always think of an idea to tax people in everything they do so they can accumulate it for themselves. I know a bitcoin machine in makati in which they accept ltc, eth and bitcoin.

That's a good news for all Filipinos that using bitcoin. Maybe the government realize bitcoin will support poor people here in the Philippines. It can help every citizen improve and lift their lives from poverty, especially the number of bitcoin user here are large. Today, there are two virtual currency exchangers registered with the BSP and several more are under evaluation.

There are lots of crypto miners, bitcoin investors and traders in the Philippines. Most of them are quitting their day job in exchange of day trading and mining cryptos. Some of them make it as a part time job.

When bitcoin hit $20k last year the hype of crypto in the Philppines rises. Many newbies wanted to invest in bitcoin and altcoins. Some joined ICOs. Some profited and others were scammed.

The Philippine government can't stop or abolish bitcoin or crypto cos it helps a lot of Filipinos and specially it has lots of "TAXES"!!

So its a win win situation between the people and the government.

Thumbs up to Philippines for embracing this very promising technology!

You know, it makes me feel jealous when I see the other countries has legalized bitcoin, while in my country haven't seen at all that government will regulate/legalize bitcoin as an alternative currency which's validated to buy anything.
But in another sides, I'm very happy to knowing that, hopefully it can be take utilized well and will advance for the Philippines country as well as its citizens become more modern peoples and reduce the unemployment rate also can be multiply the rich people. Smiley

Philippines is starting to regulate bitcoin in the country. Some establishement are starting to accept bitcoin as payment. Bitcoin was acknowledge by the people when it began to spread via news. I read an article that the government of the Philippines is starting to investigate the investing and trading system, just to secure the safety of the investors.

Bitcoin is the best way to invest in recent years, as shown by the exchange rates. Currently in the Philippines, electronic money is not accepted by banks. Since they are not material values. But time does not stand still and everything changes. The Philippine government plans to equate cryptocurrency to securities and issue licenses to banks for their use. Some companies already accept transfers in cryptocurrencies. This method is considered to be faster and cheaper.Cryptocurrency is a more effective way to attract capital.

Good news for the Filipinos, it will be their stepping stone to success. There's a lot of people don't need to work abroad if the investors will come to the Philippines. Hopefully this would also eliminate the corruption.

That’s a welcome development when the government start to recognizes crypto currency and even sponsored seminar  about regulation. The regulation is only implies to the operator to the currency changer so that they will be protected againts unscropolous users that would take advantage of being anonymous and decentralized.
I
Philippines is a developing country. Good news for the entire bitcoin community, this development proves that bitcoin is really making remarkable role in the innovation and economic development of a country. Such introduction and recognition might ignite a wider coverage and larger market cap for the cryptocurrency community worldwide.

It's good to hear that bitcoin interest in the Philippines continues to grow. There are already a significant number of of bitcoin users in the Philippines and their Central Bank is also reported to make some measures to legalize the cryptocurrency in this Southeast Asian countries. Movement towards proper legalization comes after much consideration, monitoring and consultation with their Central Bank.

That's great news!  Let's hope to see more blockchain application in all industries in the future.  Things like this open up an opportunity for cryptocurrency to continue to exist and remove the doubt of it popping like a bubble as some predicted or hoped.
