942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: January 09, 2020, 04:37:34 AM
i never estimate my losses because i know it will only turn me down, what i am concern mostly is the amount i won and that brings me positive feelings.

i know a man that writing in all his gambling activities, from losses and winnings and he tells me that it made him sick sometimes checking how much he losses while the amount of winning is very little compared to others.

If you have money and inspite of losing in gambling you are fine with it then no issue else very vital to keep a track of both profits and losses and understand that is it really worth losing the money in gambling considering if you play big bets and losses are in thousands. If those are very small amount then no worries about it.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: January 08, 2020, 11:28:59 AM
I think it's quite naive to make them compete one against another because both have their flaws and cons as well. Fiat is so much adopted that we really can't just replace it given that many people are still uneducated on the uses and applications of crypto, lack gadgets and tools to store or buy crypto and much of world lies under poverty line.

Well both as such cannot be compared because of various reasons but if I have to choose one considering the future would be going with crypto beacuse it is going to chance the lot of dynamics in coming time and way things are going digital it is going to make lots of impact .
944  Economy / Speculation / Re: Return of the bull? on: January 08, 2020, 11:26:32 AM
It was funny how it was $6000 before the new year and now it above $8000.
Some people speculate it is the call of an incoming war on the horizon. But I just cant validate this being the reason why.
It was a sudden spike in a week just about the same time this happened. So it could be a correlation but I just dont see it.

The rise seems to happen due to the war tension between Iran and US and due to which many other Fiat currencies have also risen. The prices will continue to rise till the issues does not get resolve compeletely and settle down peacefully .

Yesterday’s match was delighted to watch where England was batting for a win and SA was playing for a draw and did well but just in the end England was little better than SA and finally got the win which would be a moral boosted for the upcoming matches .
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 08, 2020, 06:36:13 AM
India would be happy the way the team composite of new and senior players have performed and also the bowlers did an fantastic job of picking the wickets at regular interval . I think now more couple of youngsters could be given a chance in final T20 match as India lead by 1-0
947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2020, 04:16:31 PM
Restricting srilanka to just 140 runs is a fantastic job by the bowlers. All of them bowled very well. Not to forget Shardul thakur. He got three wicket in one over. It is a one sided match now.

It was supposed to be a one sided match, and it is turning out to be one. So no surprises there. As I have pointed out many times, the gap between the big 3 teams and the other teams are widening. The gap has grown to such a level that the smaller teams are not even able to give meaningful fight against big teams such as India and Australia.

India has started well though both the openers are back in pavilion and and now India just require another 53 in 46 balls and have 8 wickets in hand . It should be an easy chase unless India loses some quick wickets now and end up in a troubled zone .
948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 07, 2020, 11:36:56 AM
It just depends where you are talking about it and who are you talking to with it. It is indeed a danger if your are speaking it out loud in public places, especially those places you aren't that familiar. It will be really fun to talk about it with those who can relate.

This is true if experienced shared with right people can help them to learn and understand also. Beacuse not if spoken in public places can lead to bad experiences and better to be avoided . Also if their is any particular way where it helps to win to others is also beneficial.

Oh well, ICC pitching the idea of 4 day tests. They do have some solid points behind this though, let's see how international community (Cricketers) reacts on it in coming days.

ICC to consider mandatory four-day Tests

Follow back on 4 day tests, this time statements coming from ECB and they seem to be agree to this idea.

Main points from their perspective
1. Yes, its controversial but it might help with "complex scheduling" and "player workloads"-
2. Free time -30/40 days a year-
3. Buzzword -Lets face it Test cricket is dying-

England and Wales Cricket Board 'cautiously' supports four-day Tests

Follow back....
Recently Jos Buttler gave mixed statement on 4 day tests but one important reaction coming from Indian captain Virat kohli and he's rooting for 5 day tests without any diplomatic statement.

Quote
"Four-day Tests? Look, I'm not a fan of [it]," Kohli said on the eve of the T20I series opener between India and Sri Lanka in Guwahati. "I think the intent will not be right then because then you will speak of three-day Tests, where do you end? Then you speak of Test cricket disappearing. I don't endorse that at all.

'Four-day Tests? I don't endorse that at all' - Virat Kohli
"I don't think that's fair to the purest format of the game - how cricket started initially and five-day Test matches was the highest of tests you can have at the international level. According to me, it shouldn't be altered."

South Africa vs England

Nightwatch " Maharaj" gone. Faf needs to play captain's inning now. Its seems lost cause but I wish they fight back a bit and drag game into final session.

139/3 ...
164/4 as Faf is also gone England on target South Africa under serious pressure good from England.

Malan is the key and difference  between winnand draw of England team . England have to remove Malan quickly and almost match isnon their side of they can take lower order batsman out quickly else match will end up in a draw .
950  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: January 07, 2020, 07:28:04 AM
If people enter the market from the normal economic order, they have to do very good research. Because many things cannot be reversed in the blockchain economy. It's a high-security system. However, errors are very difficult to compensate. There are scammers who want to use this situation. Do good research before sending money to a place.

Also enetering the market when the prices are rocket high and selling when the its low or just due to panic situation selling is another reason where people end up in a loss and become poorer . One should be buying on falls and selling when you achieve your goals or at highs .

NZ poor show of game continues and this time it was more worst than even the first innings. Getting out in less than 50 overs of a test match itself shows how much difference exists between both the teams and the results itself clear it up as OZ triumph by 279 runs and Marnus for his fabulous batting and double century was man of the match.
952  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 07, 2020, 05:58:25 AM
Today 2nd T20 between India vs SL will happen as their is no forecast of rain and weather looks good for the match to happen. Now both the matches remaining have suddenly became more vital for both the teams to win either to win the series win both or to draw win atleast one.
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 06, 2020, 04:17:05 PM
Seriously? The South Africans are playing too defensively, having made 51 runs from 140 balls so far during the 2nd wicket partnership. They are not going to win, if the scoring rate is less than 2 runs per over. Because English bowlers are talented enough to get the wickets, at some point of time. You can't expect Malan/Hamza to survive against the British bowlers for an infinite amount of time.
It does not matter if they are winning the match or not as it is a huge task to chase a score 438 runs and it is not even easy to defend the next few sessions let alone draw the match as it needs to have incredible patience and composure to play for a long time and they have lost their second wicket and if they are able to bat till tomorrow afternoon session that would be a surprise for me.

Now the only thing people would be interested is to find out that will England bowl some magical spells tomorrow to pick some quick wickets and win the test and level the series . SA can just draw it unless they play some attacking shots  and pace up innings .
954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: January 06, 2020, 11:40:52 AM
If we are alone in life and nothing we know to spend in to, gambling could make us happy for a while, but it cannot escape the fact that having people around is what will make us truly happy and contented in life and gambling would just be factors on it.

Gambling could be just part of life and not life this if people understand many things will get resolve by its own means. Play to enjoy and have fun this will make everyone happy and less of stress too even if you lose some as you are playing for fun and not exactly for money .
955  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 06, 2020, 11:36:57 AM
IMO its safe to say, South Africa about to lose the game and series should be tied 1-1 very soon. anything above 300 looks pretty much winning target to me and i have my doubts if Proteas batsmen have any calibre to chase down target in the 4th inning.

@Royse Am i allowed to switch team?  Grin

Sibley , root and Stokes innnings have changed the game for England as now England is in comfortable position as they lead by 437 runs and 2 wickets left . Most likely either England won’t he match or ends in the draw match from this point .
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Excessive confidence in cryptocurrency trading. on: January 06, 2020, 06:26:11 AM
A trader over confidence relies on his strategy which the trader feels is a profitable one of course their is no holy Grail anywhere, why some traders enters any trades with full confidence in that they are trading with a small percentage of their total portfolio ie trading with the amount of money they can afford to lose coupled with a sound money management coupled with a working strategy which is profitable in a long run.

Every trader is unique in their own style and the strategy which they want to adopt it . Only thing is that people should not get carried away during panic situation and end up selling just beacuse others are selling it and also one should be confident and not overconfident in doing trading .

The game has been called off  Undecided
Wasted the time checking for updates. Should have sticked to the SA vs ENG test match, missed the wicket balls while checking for the updates.
Glad that the match is called off as i already made a bet and i do not want to see a reduced match with my bet live and now i got the amount refunded.
The next  match is on 7th and hopefully weather will not interfere in that match, whats the real climate right now in India, never thought it is rainy season as this is winter in most countries.

All the fans , audiences who were present in such large number in stadium all were sad as they could not see the macho for which they had came . Rain really spoilt the game as it was going to be a nice T20 contest between the two teams .

It has interesting match between India vs SriLanka because SriLanka team played match against India very long time ago but the weather spoil the match anyway my bets has been refunded.

There is a very huge expectation on this match, but at last, the match has been abandoned due to rain. Over very long time Srilanka is playing with India and it is going to be exciting in the coming match, In this T20 format, India has a very strong team which we have to wait and see how far they will deliver in the coming match.

If just considering the current form and strength of both the team it seems that India has better chance of winning the match against the SL. It will be interesting to see how does SL play and give competition to team like India who is playing well in all formats.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 06, 2020, 05:10:13 AM
At the end of third day England leading by 264 runs with 6 wickets in hand and Sibley on crease with 85 runs look like its end of test for South Africa and England on driving seat for winning second test and level of series just 70 to 80 runs could be enough for England as fourth inning never been easy for any team to survive with 325+ runs.

If they could make 264 for the loss of 4 wickets, then they will make another 200-250 with the loss of the remaining six wickets. In the first innings they had a lead of 46 runs, so the target for South Africa will be in the range of 500-550, which is going to be impossible to achieve. But this series have been full of twists and turns and if South Africa can get the remaining England wickets for another 30-35 runs, then the target will be within the achievable range and they will have a go at it.

BTW, Australia looks comfortably placed in their match against New Zealand. The Kiwi bowlers are not offering any sort of resistance and Warner have made his 24th test century. Labuschagne is currently on 57, and I won't be surprised if he also hits another century. Matt Henry and William Somerville are looking completely clueless and surprisingly Neil Wagner isn't being used much (another injury?). This is going to be one of the most one-sided test match between the two sides.

Unbelievable start for the second innings of NZ. In first innings they lost first wicket at 68 and now they are already 5 wickets down for score of just 44 runs. NZ still require 372 runs to win the match which does not look to happen and OZ winning this match easily again.

England is turning the table in this test match as they have just lost 2 wickets in 2nd innings for a score of 163 runs and already have a total lead now of 209 runs. England may have around 400 runs lead and batting fourth on this track would put SA under pressure and to chase the score would be more difficult.
