961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Plan to Make the Most of Your Bitcoin Investment Before the Halving? on: November 08, 2023, 10:34:02 PM
The only plan I have right now is to continue DCA while the market is still giving us opportunities to accumulate more bitcoin before bitcoin halving takes place. Bitcoin price might eventually continue to surge high when bitcoin halving is over and that going back to its low price might be hard anymore. That's why by never stopping from doing DCA, at least little by little my bitcoin portfolio will be filled in through spending an amount that I can still afford to lose.

While others have resorted into investing in altcoins as well to maximize their investment profits, but for me I only trust bitcoin so instead of adding some altcoins or shitcoins into my portfolio, most probably I'll just have to deal and lessen the risk through sticking to bitcoin as my crypto investment.
962  Economy / Economics / Re: Are You Sticking to Your Plan or Has Life Made You Pause or Modify It? on: November 08, 2023, 09:58:33 PM
We often advise newcomers asking about successful Bitcoin investment strategies to have a well-structured plan and stick to it no matter what. Nevertheless if there is anything I have learned is that in bitcoin investment it  is rarely a linear journey. And despite our best intentions and meticulous planning, unforeseen circumstances can disrupt our initial plans. For the community I want to know, has your investment plan always unfolded as expected or have unexpected events caused you to pause or modify your plan? Despite our best efforts there are instances where sticking rigorously to a plan becomes challenging due to the unpredictable nature of life.
Well, with such a volatile and unpredictable investment like bitcoin, changes are more fixed than sticking to your well-structured plan. No matter how you try to pursue the success of your investment by following your original plan, there are always instances that have turned into challenges that will try to ruin your investment plan and that you are left with no choice than to change or reverse so as not to harm your total investment.

While this is not a good option for majority but sometimes its also healthy to change your investment plan at some point because by taking a little risk, you are going to free yourself from market panicking, and instead you can stick to your long -term investment goal as how you imagined it from the start. At the end of the day, modifying your original plan is still not a bad thing if its the only way so you can achieve your original goal in your investment.
963  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 08, 2023, 08:52:41 PM
Financial freedom's description varies per person. Someone might say that it's financial freedom when they can eat everything they want and don't have to be problematic with their bills.

The others could say that it is all about having all the material things that they never have. And the rest will just say it's all about having like lots of money that you can't imagine.

What I've learned from the others about being financially free is that, they can do everything and they all have the time to do things that they want to do while earning passively.
Despite of the different interpretation about financial freedom, at the end of the day the only thing certain about it is that we need financial freedom so we don't have to face financial problems at the present and most especially in the future. That's why we need not to settle less but learn to maximize opportunities so we can achieve financial freedom in the end. We need not to limit saving our own money not only from our salary alone but as much as possible from our investments that are giving us bigger interest and profits compared to the salary we earn from 8-hour day working.

And lastly, we need to build financial freedom not because we want to satisfy our own self but because we need to give our children the bright future they deserve. That is the reason why a lot of us are working day and night not to let us feel that we are highly capable to earn a living but as parents its our obligation to do it so we can provide the needs and wants of our family without bothering other people asking some help.
964  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 07, 2023, 11:58:39 PM
Six AI chatbots forecast bitcoin to reach $45k by December 31 2023. From the  article the test was first carried out June this year which it was predicted that the price will get to $45k by the end of the 2023 year, and on the 3rd of this month of November 2023 another query test was carried out using 6 different AI chatbots to inquire what the price of bitcoin could be by end of the year and they all gave predictions that points to $45k at most. And the most intriguing thing about this which caught my attention is that it was same price prediction range it gave sometime June this year when the first test was conducted.

AI or not, some experts have also collectively looked at the market, the price chart of Bitcoin, and made their prediction that Bitcoin was going to hit $40k towards the end of the year. Those AIs are also using information from the past price history of Bitcoin to make their predictions. The fact that those AI predicted $45k doesn't mean it's very accurate; it's still speculation, just like humans have always speculated. Nothing special. The AI is not speaking with a guarantee that Bitcoin must get to $45k before December 31. When we speculate about prices, it sometimes doesn't work like that because the market is not in our control. The same is applicable to AI; they don't control the market.
Whether the prediction is made through AI or not, one thing is certain, all are just speculations and are not guaranteed accurate as long as the market remains to be uncontrollable. That's why bitcoin price hitting the amount of $45k will remain a wild guess until the year ends, unless if bitcoin price follow its direction and eventually reach a new all time high, even exceeding to $45k.

However, its normal to see highly positive predictions when the market is very bullish, and that AI predictions are not an excuse to it as they only predict the future price based on how the current position of bitcoin in the market. Same with crypto influencers, they only predict based on their personal views and understanding on the current position of the market.
965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you cope with those around you not believing in you for choosing Bitcoin? on: November 07, 2023, 10:56:56 PM
Pretty much self explanatory.  How do you do it?

Here is my way.  I mostly pushed away and pulled out of relationships with people who seem to stand against my beliefs.  Instead of convincing them I just moved on.  I found that a lot of those who do not believe in my choice of investment and think I will fail are the same people who never listen.  Know it alls who rather put you down and disregard your feelings with no logical reasoning.  Sometimes it feels like they envy you or some thing.

I believe this is a healthy way of handling your environment.  Keep negativity outside your bubble.  Only keep close to you people who give you the ambition and optimism to continue.  Not sure how many of you believe in this.  But manifesting negativity has always brought negative outcome in my life.  Surrounding myself by positive thoughts and positive people has brought a strong source of light all the time.
You don't have to stay with people who don't actually understand your stands and beliefs in life. Instead, be with people who will nurture you and help you to achieve your goals in life. While bitcoin investment can be a lot promising for those who actually know and understand its potentials, but for people who are actually at the opposition, convincing them to take on your side is not your obligation and will not really work in the long. So just learn to live without them, focus on your bitcoin investment because that will bring you success that you have been waiting for. Be with people who can give you tips and advices on bitcoin, and stay with people and who can actually celebrate with you when your investment has already paid off.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes to watch out for on: November 07, 2023, 10:39:32 PM
I am happy that there are tips and attempts to make things easier for beginners, but some of these tips will not be of value without you trying trading, as it is easy to say to a person, “I control his feelings,” but when trading comes, unless you have trading experience, you will end up forgetting this advice, and it is also It is difficult for beginners to find such topics. Therefore, it is better to avoid creating more of such topic.
These tips can be quite helpful if you are a beginner trader but experience is still the best teacher as you won't understand these basic tips if you are currently not experiencing real trading. That is why for you to overcome some common mistakes in trading, you need to trade more and the more you commit mistakes, the more lessons you will learn. While losing can discourage traders from trading more, but know that its the best option for you to become a pro trader and be a successful trader in the long run.

Tips can be forgotten when you are already in live trading, but if you have the knowledge and skills obtained through consistent trading, no matter how forgetful you are, those skills will always be your edge in trading that will always play a vital part in your trading success.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 07, 2023, 08:42:00 PM
It will reach $40,000 for sure and will also follow a quick drop off to $32k which will act as support this time, instead of any resistance, so, in short, yes, Bitcoin is going to hold the Target prices and soon it will be breaking the previous All-Time High, right after Bitcoin Halving in 2024. If you have money available, you should focus on buying Bitcoin and HODLing as these prices will never be available again in the future.
I am really optimistic that hitting the target price of $40k before this year ends is very possible as the price would even exceed it and continue to skyrocket and reach its new all time high. We are now on the last quarter of the year so expect that this season is more bullish compared to its previous months, that even history may prove it. However, that does not mean that bitcoin will never experience a price decline anymore, of course it's always possible due to market volatility but even so, it will definitely recover again and return to its original bullish price.

Most especially that we are anticipating big events for bitcoin in the next possible months so we can really speculate that bitcoin at the moment mark its bullish start and this will continue as long as there are positive factors in the market that continue to affect bitcoin price positively.
968  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 07, 2023, 01:56:57 PM
I don’t think that financial stability should still follow an age pattern as to when it’s going to take place. Because for me, we all have different mindset when it comes to our finances, while some have started early building their financial independence because the opportunities for them also come earlier, while others enjoy their singlehood first and live life as free as a bird and when they get married, that’s when they think to start building their financial stability because they already have a family to provide with.

For me, the earlier the better. That way, you can achieve your dreams and aspirations in life while you are still capable to sustain it and continue to live life to the fullest. Than to see yourself gaining financial stability at your late age wherein you are not that sustainable anymore and only have few years left to enjoy your life to the fullest.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fund for Bitcoin promotion on: November 07, 2023, 12:47:10 PM
Is there some group which collects funds for Bitcoin promotion? If some group like this can create advertisements for Bitcoin, more people can become aware. Such mediums should be targeted which have reach on audience that is still not familiar with crypto.
I have seen different individuals that are into bitcoin promotion, but the problem is their main goal is not to introduce bitcoin as a currency but to scam people and make them believe that bitcoin is a get quick rich thing. That is why instead of promoting bitcoin as a good alternative to fiat, people jump into conclusion that bitcoin is nothing but a Ponzi scheme. So for me, there’s no need for any group or individual person to promote bitcoin.

However, it’s a different story if you are into crypto or bitcoin business. It’s expected that you should promote bitcoin in order to attract investors to buy or sell bitcoin, or consider your crypto exchange as a legit and reliable one to make their transactions with.
970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the best advice or should I just let him on: November 06, 2023, 05:53:24 PM
Giving him some piece of advice will not make him feel bad as long as you do it not on an offensive way. Just tell him that he might be losing a lot from gambling and that his health might be affected in the end. While we know that gambling is part of entertainment, but if you know you are heading into gambling addiction, you are not only putting your money into waste but you are also putting your own emotional and mental state into danger. So never gamble more than you can afford to lose, and always see to it that when you gamble, never expect for huge profits but face the fact that when you gamble, you are going to lose your money. While it’s okay to lose, but only lose the amount that you will never regret in the end.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice for new comers on: November 06, 2023, 05:30:00 PM
What advice do you have for newcomers diving into the world of crypto gambling? Any lessons you learned the hard way that you'd like to share?
Always gamble for fun. There is no guarantee to win in gambling, so never take it seriously but gamble for entertainment purposes only. And when you gamble, never bet using your credit card but stick to your spare cash that you can easily afford to lose, that way gambling addiction will be avoided. Set your own betting amount and time limit, so you can minimize the amount you spend and the amount you are losing. And lastly, when you gamble, be open for losses and expect that most of the time you will lose than make profits. Never chase for your losses, but accept them and understand that to gamble is to lose.
972  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Must Read: Scams disguised as premium signal groups/channel on: November 05, 2023, 09:59:14 PM
Here are some basic questions we need to ask ourselves:
1. If they can help you earn so much profit they would already be ultra rich and wouldn't be spamming your inbox to join their paid group
2. Why don't they share the daily report or weekly to check their accuracy percentage
3. Why don't they make it free even on trail basis so that users can get a first hand experience and join
Signal providers are scammers and nothing more that we can call them. They only care about their pockets and not the signal they give to people. If they give signal and the person trade with it and the person lose, they are not concerned or bothered but happy because of the money the person paid them for giving him the signal. They are just fake as they are and nothing more good than to avoid them.
Anything that ask for money without proven to be effective yet is an initial sign of scam. Even if you are making profits the moment you start, that will never create any guarantee that you'll never gonna be scam anymore. It's a well designed trick by these people and once people fall on their trap, then they will continue to take advantage of our funds until we end up pocket empty.

That's the reason why I don't easily go for paid signal groups or channels, because if their intention is really to help us and make us profitable, they won't be asking money in the first place. It just proves that whether we lose or gain profits, what is important is that they have already gained money from us.
973  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did you think will happen to Bitcoin before January? on: November 05, 2023, 09:27:45 PM
In general, November, December and January are some of the best months for investing. Besides, the upcoming bitcoin ETF and halving means that there are really a lot of green flags and I don't know why to sell now. in my opinion it's best to hold now until the ETF releases. Untill the official news, in my opinion we will see green months. The day of the announcement will be a day of a short pump and then months of profit-taking for those who are now buying, so it will certainly be a good place to open short or at least realize some of the profits from currently held positions.
The last quarter of the year are obviously the best months of the year since bitcoin will experience more positive position in the market compared to the other months. However, this will also greatly depend on the factors that may affect the market and bitcoin. And since we are expecting two big events early by next year, then most probably we will witness a price correction that will set bitcoin price into another level, or maybe a short price decline before the massive price increase sets to happen.

All these will remain assumptions until proven when we cross the bridge by that time.  So let's just wait and see.
974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what if bitcoin becomes inferior on: November 05, 2023, 08:59:26 PM
A better technology than Bitcoin could emerge. What should we do if someone gives us a better system than bitcoin as a gift and leaves? It performs better than Bitcoin, and it even has the perfect decentralization of Bitcoin, which we value highly. Bitcoin was created in 2009, and now it's 2023. Cars made in 2009 cannot be better than cars made in 2023 or later. What if someone with as much genius and passion as Satoshi is creating a system better than Bitcoin?
You've raised a very good question and honestly I've never thought about this before. Just as you pointed out, the world is evolving everyday, technology is constantly been improved and newer products are developed as we've seen with automobiles, television, aeroplanes etc. However, since Bitcoin came into limelight there have been many cryptocurrencies that have sprang up, claiming to outperform Bitcoin. Most of them have disappear into thin air while some of them are in life support fighting for their dear life. So what I can tell you is that Bitcoin is here to stay and there's really not going to be any altcoin that will outperform Bitcoin.
I am always open to the thought that bitcoin might gonna be replaced in its position in the long run, and that there's nothing constant but change. But seeing the type pf coins that have been rising in the market, I guess bitcoin has nothing to worry because these new type of coins are nothing compared to bitcoin. Most of them are just too good to be true projects that are obviously formed from the image of bitcoin but fail to prove their worth and validity in the long run and just vanish like thin air. So what we can expect from them are just nothing but an illusion to outperform bitcoin.

Bitcoin might be outdated in the long run when compared with these new high potential coins but as long as the market demand is high, bitcoin will always remain on top of other cryptocurrencies.
975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting online courses? on: November 05, 2023, 04:02:36 PM
I just came across another topic about how to start betting on sports, and as I was reading and researching, I came across something that suggests considering taking online courses on sports betting

I have not heard of something like that and even if it exist, what is the possibility that after such course there is a guarantee winning?

If they promise a win, that's when you should doubt their intention because there's no surefire way to win in sports betting. We all take chances, and no one can control our results except ourselves. Some say it's all luck, but you can actually learn to get better over time. Yes, that's the mindset of a serious bettor - aiming for long-term success.

People who believe that online courses guarantee a win don't truly understand what gambling is about.

In gambling, there's always a risk of losing, and that alone removes the word "guarantee."
976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: November 05, 2023, 03:51:14 PM
The Suns have lost three games in a row, and they want to stop that streak against the Pistons. What are your thoughts on this? Is it still a good idea to bet on the Suns, even though they've been struggling? We can't be certain if Booker will play, so Durant might have to step up again.

It's interesting that the point spread changed. It started at -5.5 in favor of the Suns, and now it's down to -2. I'm not sure why it moved, but let's hope it doesn't mean Durant will be resting.
977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: November 05, 2023, 12:13:11 PM
Are you watching the game now? It seems like TNT is really feeling the loss of Pogoy and Mikey Williams, as they are currently trailing. Though I can say it's a close game now, since Castro isn't playing well, I think their import will be tired in the second half. I thought the high spread was overvalued, but there's a big chance that Magnolia will win this game and cover the spread. Anyway, I think I'm going to place a live bet after the first half since there's currently no live betting on my sportsbook.

Yes, it's tough to watch TNT trailing by a lot of points. They used to be a strong team, and it's surprising to see them losing by such a big difference. There's still the second half left, but if you believe they can make a comeback, TNT's moneyline might give you some appealing odds.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Oscar Duarte (December 2) on: November 05, 2023, 11:53:00 AM
Added to the undercard is Ohara Davies vs. Ismael Barroso.

I think I'll check out these boxers first because I'm not familiar with them. What I really want to see is the main event, as I'm looking forward to watching Ryan Garcia's comeback after his loss against Tank Davis. I'm sure he's had enough time to think and will be more motivated to train since he's experienced a loss. He's no longer undefeated, so it's like he's starting from scratch to prove himself to the world.

You should take a look at these boxers, especially Ohara Davies, who hasn't lost a fight since 2018. I believe he can easily defeat Ismael Barroso from Venezuela because Barroso is already quite old at 40 years, nearing retirement age.

A 40-year-old boxer, I guess I already know who would win. Even Pacman, who is one of the greatest, struggled when he reached that age and eventually retired from boxing. This guy Barroso is just an ordinary boxer, so I would not expect a lot from him. Besides, it's not the main attraction, though.

However, in case he loses, I guess that defeat against Davis might have really affected his confidence. The mental aspect could become a topic of discussion, maybe even an excuse.
Every boxer tends to have their reasons when they lose a fight. If Ryan Garcia didn't make excuses after his loss to Tank Davis, I doubt he'll come up with that kind of excuse now. The boxing community would probably not take it well if he can't accept defeat.

Looking at Oscar Duarte Jurado's record, it's quite impressive. He's known for knocking out his opponents, and that makes him a dangerous opponent for Garcia, especially considering that Garcia has been knocked out before.

Well, so this means we are going to see an exciting fight. If Ryan makes a successful comeback, we will probably see him fight a champion in the future. But for now, his only focus is on beating Duarte. Thanks for the video you shared, @coin-investor. It's good to know that Duarte has great confidence in winning this fight.
979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: November 05, 2023, 11:05:17 AM
The Lakers losing to the Magic is pretty embarrassing. They just aren’t a very good team this year. I feel bad for LeBron because he doesn’t have all that many games left but the players he’s being surrounded with are never going to win a title.
Losing by 19 points in just one game is really disappointing, and I'm starting to doubt if the Lakers can replicate their past success from last season. It's possible that letting go of Schroder was a mistake. From what I've seen, during the season when Schroder didn't play for the Lakers, they seemed to face some challenges.

The Suns are having an equally embarrassing year thus far. All the talk about them being the best shooting team ever, but they’re struggling against teams they should easily beat.
It's understandable as they aren't fully healthy yet, Durant alone could not carry this team anymore as he is already "OLD", the same with Lebron alone could the carry the Lakers.
980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Impact of bitcoin price speculations on individual bitcoin holding on: November 04, 2023, 11:35:35 PM
Is there any way to truly know the top? When people make comments about selling at the top and buying  at the bottom for a trending market, it always sound like complex to me because market can give several supposed tops within a short period.

No there's no way any individual can predict the top of the market for the price of Bitcoin and also there's no way to know the bottom of Bitcoin. My approach to buying Bitcoin is like how most individual buy which is to DCA but I don't let any information that doesn't correspond with what the charts are saying affect my decision to buy more Bitcoin or to sell. Any individual allowing what others are saying about the price of bitcoin affect them isn't ready to buy Bitcoin.

Alot of things are always said about bitcoin but they don't know what they're saying because they don't have any real backing. People always make predictions based on how they're feeling about the market but that doesn't mean that's how the market is going to move.
However, despite of the fact that no one holds the future price of bitcoin, there are still some reliable market speculators that based their predictions from their past experiences in the market. And for me, it’s something that we should also try to consider as history can bring much effect on the present and on the future even if at some point, history do not repeat itself.

At the end of the day, it’s still best to rely on our own market predictions and just do DCA everytime there is spare money to invest, most especially when the market is showing a bearish market price wherein we can maximize buying some coins at its perfect market entry.
