981  Other / Meta / Re: How username turned into "Anonymous" in 2022? on: August 30, 2022, 11:46:55 PM
Why would theymos change either?
Whatever it is, only theymos know the reason.

But this comes up in my mind and guessing that it was made by request of @Royse777 that related to Project Covid-19, this thread was changed to Anonymous OP too which I'm sure they are the same original OP.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lost 10 BTC in between Feb and May on: August 30, 2022, 11:08:46 PM
I think this isn't an appropriate section, you may move this to Trading Discussion and also if you want to learn more discussion about the trading experience.

You've lost a huge amount of Bitcoin in your past experience, that is a huge amount for me.  Sorry for your loss but just think charge to the experience.
I advise you don't seek other people's financial advice, you should have your own research to find success in trading.

I don't know if this comes to your mind, how about holding Bitcoin alone in a long term would might be a perfect way of making a profit since it's very volatile.
983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Money but from where on: August 30, 2022, 10:56:34 PM
Possibly you're talking about how to trade and generate money but as was said above, trading isn't generating money, go and find a job and have a business that will surely generate money.  Trading isn't for everyone as well, it depends on your skills and knowledge if you lack all of these I may suggest you to find another way of making money, trading isn't meant for you.  You need to enhance your ability in trading before you'll do such stuff.

If you have the capital to invest, I would rather recommend you invest in Bitcoin in a long term, it's a perfect way of investing when you purchase in a DCA way.
984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: coin mixer service on: August 30, 2022, 10:44:31 PM
After tornado.cash been seized, do you guys still looking for a similar/same service vendor?
The recommended Ethereum mixer was tornado.cash and it's anticipated that there's still someone looking for privacy.
They still looking for a trusted, untraceable, and more protective service like tornado.cash.

Quote
I wonder if I may open this service but not sure of any potential risk there, anyone could advise?
Yes, you are.
But you need to build a reputation first and have a review campaign in your service, potentially you can start it here in the forum since we're a big crypto community here.  But since this is related to the altcoins service, you'll not use the service section upon publishing the review campaign.
985  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: August 29, 2022, 10:56:12 PM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑
I like your mindset and this must newbie do than thinking about profit.
Yes profit, because they only heard about the profit that could they get, they never think about how it will work.  Investing in crypto must know the entire process how it will work and how the technology works.  A zero-knowledge will usually fall as a victim to those scammers waiting for people like them,
greedy and naive which is easy to fool.

That's why it's pretty common that there's someone to ask here in the forum how to make money in crypto not how they will learn how crypto will work.
986  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 2022 low again? on: August 29, 2022, 10:47:05 PM
I'd favor indifferent because Bitcoin price is unpredictable and no one knows where it goes the movement.
But I still have positive faith in Bitcoin that will break the resistance and can create a new ATH by next year, there are 4 months left this year 2022 and I think that's not enough for the price to move up IMO, and that's my personal opinion.

However, ain't surprising seeing the market that there will be a new ATH soon because this was already proven and tested that Bitcoin will always surpass the bear market trend, brace yourself and get ready for that moment, the anticipated moment that possibly will happen.
987  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Roobet Scammed me for $2,000+ on: August 29, 2022, 10:34:04 PM
I've sent my account ID to Hhampuz because as I'm told he has connections with Roobet team

I have the email logs of the chat only, because I cannot check live chat anymore since they blocked me to even login to account now
That's a good action, I've seen a thread before Hhampuz helping to fix issues from the company he worked for.

The common problem of KYC casinos seems the same on this, it's always a problem with the KYC procedure.
Have you made sure that you've read already the Terms and Conditions?  Sometimes we didn't know that we violet the terms, there's a reason behind blocking the account but why they didn't inform you for that reason?

Have you already emailed them?

988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it right time to invest in Cardano? on: August 28, 2022, 11:59:42 PM
I never advise anyone to hold their altcoins in a long term except when they say they have a Bitcoin.
Cardano might be good but I think holding in a long term isn't a potential one.  I don't know what happens to them, it seems they dropped too much this year.  But it's up to you, you should the one who makes a decision and don't rely upon others and gather financial advice, do your own research is a must.

For long-term investment let's talk about it straightforwardly, I will rather go with Bitcoin than the altcoins.
989  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's The Actual Difference Between Cryptocurrency And Decentralized Finance on: August 28, 2022, 11:35:29 PM
  • Cryptocurrency -- a digital currency that could be an alternative to fiat currency
  • Decentralized Finance -- which is a decentralized service that can allow us to trade, lend or borrow cryptocurrency

Prof-of-stake (POS) and Prof-of-work (POW) are the main reason why DeFi were here and discovered which is the only selective cryptocurrency that has this blockchain network to validate transactions.

This gives you a little insight into how they work, for further information, do your own research to know more.
990  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can One Actually Do Crypto Trading As A Living? on: August 28, 2022, 11:21:04 PM
IMO, No.
Trading isn't an easy way of making money, it might that day it will lose them all.
I can't do trading to sustain my living, there's no stable source of income if you do that.  But if you've said, trading could be an additional way of making money then, I tend to agree.

It might be good if you have a business first and then do trading, why do I say a business not a job?  Because when your business becomes stable, you don't need to spend too much time on it which means, you've more extra time for trading.  You can't rely upon a single source of income, it should always have an alternative.

However, making money in trading is possible but this is on a case-to-case basis and it depends on your skills.  Because for me, trading isn't meant for everyone.
991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you exchange Fiat for Crypto or Vice Versa? on: August 28, 2022, 11:10:35 PM
I earn both but it's rare to happen to exchange my fiat for crypto it's usually I trade my crypto into fiat just like what I've earned here.
For now, I admit I didn't save my Bitcoin, I always use this for my small business outside when I got a stable profit return on it that's might the time I will invest back my money into crypto.

That's normal for us that has expenses but always calculate how much we've spent and how much we've saved.
I learn not to let my money sleep in the bank for how many years, instead, used it as capital to generate profit that can sustain my daily needs.
992  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform on: August 27, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
Coinsbase.pro is good for a newbie like you because it has a simple interface that is easy to understand.
I've been Googling it but it seems Coinbase.pro has a 0% fee upon buying Bitcoin when you reside in the US or EU which I think you're on the right track.

You can try alternatively the signature I wore below.
You can calculate also the possible fees that you're going to pay.

Just a tip, don't store Bitcoin on an exchange, make sure you have full control over your Bitcoin, and transfer it to an external wallet like a hardware wallet.
993  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I Know this is scam but I don't know how they go about it. on: August 27, 2022, 11:38:15 PM
I've been done more active on social media, talking to stranger people usually this happen on Telegram and Twitter which is not ideal to entertain or give them time.  There's no one giving you free money over the internet so if there's someone who offers you an address to send a small amount and you'll receive back a large amount, that's a suspicious one.

But anyway, thank you for the awareness, greediness shouldn't be tolerated because usually, those who fall into the trap are the greedy ones.
I know this is not a new trick, and I've done this before when someone offers me to create an account on an exchange and he wanted me to withdraw his fund, I tried it, but when I attempt to withdraw it, boom! they ask me for a large fee.
994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto bounty hunter stolen crypto on: August 25, 2022, 01:58:16 PM
Sorry for your loss OP, I have a doubt that you won't recover your lost fund.
First of all, cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible which means you can't revoke them once it's confirmed and transferred to other wallets.

There are no such agencies that can revoke your lost Ethereum, but you can try to track them and know who is behind this scam.  But of course, another cost to pay because they aren't free.  Chainalysis.com will help and solve this if you want to track them down but this won't have a guarantee or better to move on and learned from those mistakes.

It always has an advantage if you're knowledgeable enough.
995  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible for a newbie to send merit? on: August 25, 2022, 01:40:46 PM
That's the problem when a user is too obsessed with getting merit just to rank up, instead of doing good they copypasted with someone else.
If you're a spammer, you'll always be a spammer and you won't improve.  Earning money isn't bad but the most important is the knowledge that we must obtain, I don't think why there are lazy people who can dare to steal other people's work and claim it on their own.

This forum isn't for you OP, enjoy your life outside and never come back, once you do, that's a ban evasion.

OP is now banned is no longer able to post in the forum.
Reported it.
996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: August 23, 2022, 11:56:53 PM
Considering one of Ethereum's killers is Solana.  There are too many of them who compete with Ethereum but I think IMO, Ethereum is still a unique one.
It's far from its other Ethereum using PoW while Solana uses PoH, though when it comes to fee, those Ethereum killers including Solana really have an advantage.

When it comes to investment, I think it would be the best if you'll choose them all, Solana has been proven that shows significant growth last year and it could be next year but I don't it will surpass Ethereum.  There's should be more technical innovation on Ethereum than these Ethereum killers which I believe.

998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is People buying Bitcoin ? BTC Market Forecast September - December 2022 on: August 23, 2022, 11:29:19 PM
Bitcoin Bear Market is ending soon you have still time to buy as many bitcoin you can afford to buy.
Can you show me your crystal ball?  It might we're the same.
But hey, just let you know the market movement is unpredictable same as Bitcoin price movement.

If you don't sure about the movement of the market price you can buy Bitcoin in a DCA way, this is a safe idea if you're afraid to be trapped in the bear market.  IMO, it seems there's no sign yet of the bull market and it could be next year still Bitcoin struggling to resist the price.
Speaking of the best time to buy Bitcoin, IMO, anytime you can buy as long as you never sell under the price where you purchase.
999  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Clipboard Virus on: August 23, 2022, 11:04:53 PM
Thanks for the awareness and the tips on how to remove this malware infection.
I have been years using my PC and my laptop but I have never encountered this clipboard malware infection, maybe I'm just being careful downloading unknown sources, especially those that are not safe to download.

However, to avoid this a simple action might be to check the address before sending if you copied the right address the 3 digits from the start and 3 digits at the end of the wallet address that you wanted to change, double or triple check would be better.
