The race to get to the 4th position on the point table might get decided today. The first match today will be played between Pakistan and Newzealand. It is a must win match for Pakistan. The next match will be played between Australia and England, a must win match for Australia.
If Pakistan loses today then they will be out of the contention to play the semifinals. If Australia win today then they will remain in the same spot with 10 points. Same goes for New Zealand as they need to win today. England winning or losing the match against Australia won't make any difference as they are already at the bottom of the point table.

Also, I won't read much into domestic performances atm. Pitches are becoming a joke there and every random batter is just feasting on these pitches. There are reports of PCB didn't even pay salary to the national team so it's no surprise to anyone that they are not giving priority to domestic setup

 Srilanka again got defeated by the Indian team in the same manner as they did in the Asia Cup. Srilanka was able to only score 55 runs yesterday and in the Asia Cup finals, they were able to score 50 runs. Mohammed Shami again got a fifer in the match and after playing 3 matches in the World Cup he has now claimed 14 wickets with the best bowling figure by any other bowler in the World Cup. Next match, India will be playing against the South African team. It would be an important match for the South African team more than India. Today the Netherlands will be playing against Afghanistan, as per my understanding Afghans are the favorite to win today. If they win they would then go above Pakistan in the points table.  These three are the best Indian bowlers that have been produced to date. Srilanka again lost against India and scored 55 runs because of these three guys. Mohammad Shami is again getting a fifer in three matches he has taken 14 wickets, if he continues in the same manner then he might be the most successful bowler and highest wicket-taker in the World Cup. Kohli missed out on his 49th century again, he again got out playing a loose shot. Shubhman Gill gained his form back and would have scored his first century in the World Cup but an excellent ball by Madhushanka got him out. With another game and another win by team India, they remain undefeated in the tournament. They are now a team that would be hard to defeat in the World Cup, in a way they are now invincible. |

An interesting competition was happening when both SKY and Iyer were batting together. We all know they both and Ishan Kishan are competing to get into the 4th position and for now, Iyer is winning as SKY got out while trying a pull shot. That is why a batter like SKY needs to understand the difference between a T20 format and an ODI format. Playing careless shots does work in T20, but not in ODI or Test cricket. While batting in the T20 format a batter's objective is to score as many runs as they can in 20 overs whereas in a 50-over match, you would need to have patience and the ability to find an odd ball to hit a boundary.
Yes, it was good to see both these guys competing against each other. In the end Iyer did a good job, hoping he continues to do the same in the semifinals. Another match which is one sided, India won't have any issues in winning the game today. Some stupid quoted my reply on the thread moderated by elevates. They said India alreat has 12 points they have already secured thier semifinal position. The problem here is too much information but a mule mind to deduce it. If they know what calculation means they would understand pointing towards some illeterates. |

Semifinals Qualification ScenarioThe top 4 teams according to current point tables are India, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. How many wins do each of them need to confirm their semifinal spot. - India needs only 1 win out of their 3 matches.
- South Africa need two wins to guarantee their spot out of three matches.
- New Zealand need to win all the three matches to confirm their spot.
- Australia too has to win all the three matches to confirm their spot. If they lose any game then they will have to rely on other results and NRR.
I can confirm that India will be able to secure their spot in the next game, which is against Srilanka. Which three will be the next to confirm their spot? Any guesses? India will win today against the weaker Srilanka side to confirm their semifinal. The Kiwis after their lost yesterday would now depend on NRR and have to win all thier matches. Let me add the qualification scenario of Pakistan. They have to win all thier games. The do need to work on the NRR for that they have win thier next match by a margin of minimum 83 runs and within 35 overs depending whether they bat first or bowl first. India needs to win today against Srilanka to confirm their spot in the semifinals. Hardik Pandya won't be able to play due to his injury. I don't think the team management would make any changes to the existing team. Shreyas Iyer need to score big today otherwise he won't be given a chance in the next. Already there are two more players eyeing for the fourth position. After Hardi joins the team after today's game there would be some changes in the team.
Looking at the current form of Indian team I don't think it will be easy for the Srilankan team. They are in the 7th place on the points table. If they lose today then would be the second team be out of the World Cup.

Going by the stats the New Zealand team has won more matches than the South African team in 50 overs matches while playing against each other. This time the South African team is very different they have played an outstanding game of cricket. Except for the one match against the Netherlands where they lost. I am expecting the South African side to win today against the Kiwis. The betting odds do favor the South African team by a small margin, then also I feel they would make a big impact on the points table today. If the Kiwis get defeated then Australia would go up the rank on the point table.

What the heck happened to Bangladesh today? They had a poor start but the middle order was able to gain some momentum. Next a few wickets are lost and the whole batting collapses. It is evident from the way Bangladesh has been playing in the World Cup is that they forgot how a 50 overs match work. They are already pathetic with five days game and now 50 overs match.
The bowling is much worse now, Alland Donald has not been able to get their seamers to the point where they were effective. They were far much better before he came in as a bowling coach. Next time they would end up in a similar fashion like West Indies have ended.

It is very hard to predict where Bitcoin will reach in the next bull run. Looking back how it went after halving one thing I am sure is that it will break it's previous ATH of $69k. I feel that the next stop would be $100k. It is my prediction looking at the current scenario wherein a minimum of one ETF would get approved. That will start the bull run l, hopefully next year. Then by 2025 it should take a big leap which will lead it to my price point or more.
