I've been using the 1.999 beta wallet since it was released and I must say it looks very promising. I haven't had any trouble connecting to the network. I also tried to solo mine for a couple of hours and I got the impression it worked fine. Didn't had any luck finding blocks though.
But there's was one odd thing. I was sending some coins in quite rapid succession, like every 10 seconds or so, and sometimes the sent coins appeared as unconfirmed (sent without any confirmations yet) and moved from unconfirmed to my balance for as long as they didn't have any confirmations yet. As a result I could sent more coins then I owned, because for a sort while they were promoted to my balance. These transactions, with the 'false' coins weren't accepted by the network so eventually it doesn't go wrong but my wallet was having troubles afterwards. I repaired it, reloaded the blockchain, actually I don't recall what exactly I did but at some point all problems were gone.
I hope this makes any sense, and maybe contributes a bit in further improving the wallet, which seems a lot of work, so respect!
Good bug find. I'll see what I can find out. Edit: I think this is ok. Not sure exactly what you did, but I kept sending the same block of coins to myself. Before I got any confirmations. and eventually they all went through. Since you are sending to yourself these won't go to unconfirmed. Let me know if I have the scenario correct. |

Weird. I just tried it with Win 7 built in, and win rar. Both give me an error. Maybe something during the download, not sure. But I tried it from 2 computers as well. |

I used this link and everything works fine. Not for me You still need to rename/delete your txleveldb directory, as it has become corrupted. Then startup version 1.4.0.1 |

Tranz the wallet is working great so far, thanks for you hard work. Do you have any plans for multi-wallet functionality for CAP?
Likely not. That is one feature I will only add to HBN. Perhaps later once it is finalized in BTC I may revisit it. |

I do see that zip for 1.4.0.1 is bad. We'll have to get that one replaced. You can try this one. http://www.fileswap.com/dl/SnNNULZqH/But really there should be no need. It should sync in 5-10 hours. If you are having other issues, we need more information. Like logs files or screen shots. What is wrong with it? I am about to create a newer version and don't want to make the same mistake twice. I think the zip file was just bad. It wouldn't unzip for me. What did you use to create the .zip? 7zip w/ BZip2 compression. Same as for the previous files I uploaded Can you still unzip that file if you download it? |

Ghostlander has been very helpful to the Crypto community. He has saved 2 coins from sure demise. PXC and ORB. Both of which had big issues with permine and other problems, none of which were of his doing. Don't be so hasty to judge. You may miss out on a opportunity.

200% POS well after the fact  as bad as ninja mining  It will be well over 60 days notice, hardly stealth. I personally didn't own a single CAP until after I started posting in this thread. Those who do not want to participate can sell at a nice gain. And those that do, are still able to buy fairly cheap.. Also look at the inteview with Sunny King. Even he is realizing 1% is just not enough. Doubt he will go 200%, but this is not PPC!  Seriously changing any reward whether it be pow, pos, on the fly defeats the whole point of a trustless system., either its done innocently (out of stupidity) or its a scam....the way its promoted in the header......well I posed this to the community, and I left it to them. It responded with almost resounding yes. I think the market has also made it clear this direction it wants to go. Obviously but do you think they made the decision based on whats good for the coin/cryptos or simple greed? hey everyone do you want 200% interest or not  .......... I think both for sure. |

I will be sure to update the header with information about the fork. I posed this to the community, and I left it to them. It responded with almost resounding yes. I think the market has also made it clear this direction it wants to go. The old network before the fork will still be out there. People are very free to PoW and PoS on that fork for ever. But I will have no part in that. As there is very little reason to buy/save/use "that" coin, when the main PoS coins does just about the same thing. Thanks for your opinion. Tranz how exactly will the fork work? Will aged blocks from before the fork have the new rate applied to them, or only blocks with block time after the fork?
All blocks eligible for stake, will receive the new maturity time and reward at time of fork. |

You will need to manually add a few peers until the new wallet is ready. Look back a few pages. |
