definitely, I've seen plenty of ICO not raise enough money because of the lack of advertising. it's a shame, many good teams and projects went down. Datum is quite hard to understand by casual investor. I'm hoping that there will be more ELI5 videos about this platform |

i think they focus on japan by now but correct me if i am wrong If the first contracts will be signed with Japan, this does not mean that they will work all the time in this region. I think there will be an expansion of the GATCOIN activity, but this will take time I hope they will also offer their service in Europe and America because I think these would be big markets for a product like GATCOIN. The bots don't use news, but more things like technical analysis i believe. I think that the main attention will be paid to what would make such bots that would simplify the trade. now we can only guess by what principle they will work - it will be important how much they will be profitable And I wonder how the bot will work. In the crypto-currency market, the rules of technical analysis don't apply, it is a wild west. You're wrong. Why there is a very big gap between the soft cap and the hard cap?

the soft cap needed to be reached in order to develop and advertise the coin a little more leading up to the ICO. The hard cap doesn't need to be reached, they're just aiming for that amount as a best case scenario. I know their meaning. But my question was if you can conduct your business with 5.000 eth, i can understand that you can do some additions with extra eth. But extra 148.000 eth? I wonder what will change with that 148.000eth ? It's marketing spending and how fast we can move to become the number one marketplace and establish such a market share advantage that Datum is the dominant player. How many Ebay's exist today? Not many, usually there is one marketplace that dominates a market, 2 or 3 smaller ones, and all others are niche players mostly too small to survive long term. As far as i understand they wont be hiring anyone. Any user can be a manager as long as he invests some money and is able to convince investors to trust him with their money by providing a successful trading history with profitable investments. I understand same. Anyone wants to risk at least his 1.000$ can be a manager. And if they make a good trade profits, investors would jump to his boat. 1000$ isn't that much for a professional investor. Banks charge them more so this 1k bucks is like a steal for potential trader |

Im a bit curious about their alpha, can the team please do a SOMA walkthrough on the app for us who dont have an Iphone. thanks We'll have to wait for some feedbacks from iPhones users. Hope there will be enough to really test the application. I dont know why they are waiting with android version. I know they said for now they will present just iOS one but i think they should invest some time to release a version for everyone else also. It will boost the ICO investments for sure. Same here, more people are owning an Android phone. It will be released and I really hope it will be fast because I'm very curious. Is there anyone with an iOS who has tested this? the dev's really need to get on this and have a video presentation up of this alpha. it's good for promoting the project. probably while there is no presentation because it is necessary to recheck everything before launching, to eliminate all bugs and so on. I think this is the right decision But its already the second version of alpha so i would think they already fixed most of the bugs. It doesnt really take much time to take a video of your phone and scroll trough the platform just to give us a sense how the graphic interface looks. Which risk here by trading bots? can anyone explaine me?
Well the risk is bad coded bot which would bring bad results, or a mass adoption of which would bring bad results, or the incapacity of the bot to react in time to particular important news. They will really have to focus on bug hunting to eliminate all mistakes in the code before the full release. No one wants to loose money because of a bug in the code. I would still be careful in the beginning and double check every parameter. The big risk in my mind is if some smart traders know how the bot work and manipulate the pattern. They will take money from those lazy people who leave their bots working alone. So changing strategies (DAFs) is needed, and also development which will happen for sure. I don't think that it's easy to track how a bot works, it takes a lot of time and the bot changes the tactics of trade. I think devs will be aware of this problem and will think of all possible scenarios of manipulation. I don't think it is an issue devs would probably think of. There is too many big players on the market and too many movements. You can't just single out a bot and presume its actions. Seriously, manipulating trading bots is almost impossible. If you want to manipulate whole market then you only need to trigger stop losses... |
