so What are the exact rules for POS.. like how many days minimum to let wallet stay open.... when do i need to re-open my wallet if i dont actually use it in 1 month... (cant imagine that... but still...)

What are the exact terms? Wink (in human language pls  Cheesy)
ttack a very expensive proposition as they’d likely have to try to purchase coins from owners who don’t intend to exchange their stake.

POS from exchanges:
The decision as to who receives POS coins when held in an exchange’s wallet is entirely up to the individual exchange. There have been reports of exchanges stating that POS coins will go to the owner of the coins, which exchange this was and validity of this information is currently unknown.

Exchanges that give the owner of the coins the stake:
List of confirmed exchanges……..

Exchanges don't do this because there is no good way to identify whose coins minted the block and how to assign them to the minter. That is why with PoS coins its best to withdraw and hold or the exchange gets the stake.

If you don't see the transaction in the chain it was not sent.

I'm addicted to this coin. I can't believe it's not popular.

What gives? People go ape over the dumbest coins. This one is awesome, no premine, and awesome.

So the reason your withdraw got cut in half is if the wallet hangs on a withdraw it will shrink your withdraw down to a point it will send and refund the remainder. WDC wallet doesn't like the large withdraws. Not sure how that equates to stealing your coins.

In fact for the guys saying your coins are stolen.....Why is it you never contact us about this supposed theft? It's FUD. Some folks rant on and on about this but refuse to run their own numbers. I can provide anyone their running balances easy task. You will always get your coins there is no grand conspiracy we unlike others actually have regulatory requirements. Auditors etc.

Now I get that waiting 36 hours for a lost deployment can be painful we think that time is unacceptable ourselves. We want our ticket times at an hour and are working to get there. To contrast however your bank will likely take weeks or months..... Got it its Crypto its gotta be fast we agree working on getting there.

Oh, I did contact you BitJohn. In fact, it took your support team OVER 30 DAYS to respond to my problem. During that time I attempted several times to reach the helpdesk. I even spoke to you personally on IRC and you said you'd get back to me.. you didn't. During that time, everyday, I was being screwed over more and more. In the end, you refused to take responsibility for a bug in YOUR system after it bought coins, on credit, without my authorization. I logged the ticket so you can fix it, instead you used the slow timing of your support desk to your advantage and now you are HOLDING my coin. You have stolen the coin from me, because you're not giving it to me. How is that so hard to understand?

Your exchange suddenly put my BTC account into a negative balance by buying a bunch of extra coins for me, why did you do that? You admitted it's a bug, why aren't you giving me my coins back?

Stop behaving like criminals.

OK I will bite PM me the details again maybe you slipped through the cracks. Like I said I deal with 170,000 people its possible I missed you. As far as the exchange buying coins for you if it overbought why didn't you sell them back? Did you just hold the extra hoping the price would go up? Without seeing your account I don't have enough info.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is... on: February 10, 2014, 05:19:05 AM
Well, guess that confirms to me they dont do them in order received but by whichever is more important, not even a response to mine in a day and a half

Did you classify your issue in the proper section with all relevant information? I have stated many times different categories had different levels of support. A general ticket will not get seen as fast as a 2FA or a deposit issue for instance. Putting a ticket in the wrong category or putting in a ticket with just " where are my coins" will delay you significantly.

Want fast support include all the information and don't wright a novel. TXid is a must if your claiming a missing deposit for instance coin type is a good one to include as well. But literally many tickets are simply "Where are my coins?" Without included what coin and what transaction this will take longer to solve.

To clarify my going on Vacation MCXnow did a 500 BTC share offering then went offline for months.... causing the shares to drop to almost nothing. I got no issues with the exchange but its obvious there is an attempt to spread FUD on the forums.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is... on: February 10, 2014, 02:55:22 AM
Has Cryptsy ever just shut down the exchange and went on vacation with your money?
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy is trying to break me.. on: February 10, 2014, 02:53:41 AM
I mean were a public facing company with a hard address you can drive to. We have been around nearly a year now and have 170,000 users. Seems like the same 10-20 guys spamming this stuff over and over. Most of the team is available to help anyone who has an issue. Is it hard to get a hold of me sometimes? Sure there are 170,000 of you and one of me same goes for Mullick and Horus. Our support team is getting pretty efficient we just recently hired 4 more agents. I would bet we have a larger support staff than any other exchange.

Does that mean there might not be a guy or two slipped through the cracks? Sure it definitely could happen its something I worry about all the time. IF you really think we dont care your way off base and since I got your attention. Paul recently did this interview worth a listen.

813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which coins have proof of stake? on: February 09, 2014, 10:29:53 AM
Interestingly CAP's was excluded as several of the coins mentioned in fact most were forked from CAP's

815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CASH] - you better get it NOW!! on: February 05, 2014, 04:14:41 PM
We don't get paid for coins!!!! Cmon man we list like every one why would you pay for that lol. Talk to some other joints they for sure take bribes to add coins we consider the potential volume and uniqueness of a coin.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT TRUST CRYPTSY on: February 05, 2014, 09:30:52 AM
Did you have 2FA enabled? Did you download malware onto your computer compromising your machine? Did you PM me for help?

If you play in crypto you will likely get a virus at some point or another. If you do not utilize Two Factor Authentication you are not secure enough

Email 2FA is not enough. I highly recommend using Authy.

Ah i see, your the one operating cryptsy, like stated above it might be a premature assumption.
I'm just devastated too wake up to something like this.

Premature? Then why are you jumping to conclusions like this and trying to push everyone else away from them? Seriously, you're taking the completely WRONG path here.

Well seeing the forums i'm definitely not the only one who got fucked over last night, so yes, for now i would suggest people to stay away from them.

But sure, give me a suggestion. What path should i take?
Scan for malware with several antivirus programs.

Evaluate any software you have downloaded the past few weeks. To include wallets trading software attachments etc.

Then change your passwords. Making sure to use a different password on every site you use. Cant really do this first as they would have them again.

USE TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION so they cannot do this to you.

Contact someone rather than trying to panic folks......

818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people create new alt coins? on: February 05, 2014, 08:16:12 AM
Not sure how many times I can get this out there but Cryptsy was spawned from a mining pool that was requested by the miners there. It was created to prevent the old days of over the counter trading scams. Cryptsy pretty much adds every coin that has any demand or potential.

As far as ORB we stopped trading it way back due to its large premine it traded on other exchanges for months and months. We added it back due to strong demand.

The great thing about Cryptsy is you DO NOT have to buy the coins you do not like you can even hide them.

Many Altcoins have VERY fair releases I used to take a big stand for this but the reality is traders don't seem to care they want to trade the coin they want when they want.
