1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail The Scam: Regal Coin! on: September 16, 2017, 11:38:05 AM
Alright maybe I was wrong about your intention of posting and it might be hard to discriminate legitimate coins from scam coins but that's also the risk you take, I found that a bit of research goes a long way to showing if the project is for real or not. You should be cautious and rather safe than sorry. If you really don't know but still think its a good project you also have the option to wait for it to get listed on exchanges. I might sound a bit biased but I haven't really had any problems investing in ICO's or discerning scams from legit projects.

There isn't any regulation so you should expect people to abuse this.

It's also advisable to see who else is talking about it and what they think.

Alright thanks for the explenations!
1343  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: September 16, 2017, 11:27:54 AM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.

Yeah there are pretty old dated conspiracy theory's about a cashless, fully electronic society that will be EMP'd to throw humanity back to the stone-age and then the one's who planned this will have acces to all old resources, books/gold/silver, remaining infrastructure and will be the only's able to afford a militia to rule with an iron fist.
While the rest of us dumbs down in the struggle of survival.
1344  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: September 16, 2017, 11:18:18 AM
I agree honestly, given that you burn most of your money anyway on fruitless things and there's lower risk involved since you shouldn't be in debt yet.
The potential of making it large outweighs any risk of going broke (personal opinion)

Electra gone from aprox 800 usd to 0.000015 usd in 3 months - also it went from 20 USD to 830 USD in 1 day on the 10th of july to the 11th of july about 2-3 weeks later it died.

1347  Other / Meta / Re: New spam: Steemit Links on: September 16, 2017, 10:40:57 AM
I wrote a couple of articles on steemit but unfortunately it didn't get any attention Sad

It does seem like a place with a lot of low quality content and a lot of spam.
But you can't expect much when you give a blog to anyone with a keyboard..
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail The Scam: Regal Coin! on: September 16, 2017, 10:07:54 AM
So you bought into their scam and are now mad at crypto.
Decided to make this thread and project your own emotions onto the rest of the envoirment.
I don't feel greedy at all nor led by it.

If you do experience this then you should really take some time-out and not invest to become super duper rich but invest to learn. You may become wiser falling on your ass but you don't learn anything untill you get up.
1349  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What will you do if you know someone that is part of the LBGT community? on: September 16, 2017, 09:52:44 AM
It isn't an issue but like being part in any community, I would advice against potential dangers, untoughtfull decisions or extremity's.
I don't have anything against LGBT but there are points where I think some people cross that invisible line such as transgender pregnancy's. I get that you want a child but I think you should consider the impact such a thing has on the child's life and I doubt/wonder if that actually happens. Also I do really think a child needs a father/mother balance, love isn't the only thing they need.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: cannot send my ARDR on: September 16, 2017, 09:41:35 AM
Looks like after starting this topic a wonder happened and possible answer popped in my head  Roll Eyes

I need NXT.

But how much should I buy per ARDR to send?Where to calculate?

There shouldn't be a NXT /ARDR ratio but much more like ERC20 a fixed amount and quantity (more or less NXT) decides the speed of transaction.

There is also another address within the wallet that has 3 btc that i am hoping to recover.  I will give the person who produces the successful password 0.5 in addition to the address above, but I guess youll have to trust me on following through.

Crack this wallet and feel free to take the money, but please message me the password! Or post it here

I forgot the password i used back in 2013 and im dying to figure it out so i can take funds from the other addresses in the wallet.  I really don't remember anything about the password but it wasnt very long

Also, does anyone have any time approximations for bruteforcing according to password length? Such as

5 char = xx min
6 char = xx min
7 char = xx min
and so on.  doesnt have to be exact in any sense im just trying to wrap my mind around how long it would take (assuming gpu acceleration)

Mods, if this is in the wrong subforum feel free to move it!

Here coindesk featured an article on him, I believe his name is Dave and runs a wallet recovery service for cases much like yourself: https://walletrecoveryservices.com/

Goodluck and let me know if this was any help to you!
1352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advise on listing ETH tokens on exchanges on: September 16, 2017, 08:58:42 AM
As the title suggests, is there any free way or at least less costly way for an altcoin (ERC20 Token) to be listed on any small exchanges (with MORE VOLUME than ETHERDELTA)? If the answer is yes to my question, can you guys please tell me which exchange(s) and how much does it cost for them to list.
What about liqui? The volume is better than Etherdelta i think also that exchange have many ERC20 Token listed there.

Another person is in charge of contacting liqui but they did not reply to any email since June which is disappointing to say the least. Even if they don't want to list, they should at the very least reply.

Coinexchange responded if you want I can forward you the e-mail. Send me a PM with the designated e-mail you would like to receive it to.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Advise on listing ETH tokens on exchanges on: September 16, 2017, 02:02:06 AM
I know of one exchange that offers a free way to put up a coin and that is Yobit. Now Yobit is a crappy exchange imo but a free listing that cant hurt. Just gotta get a bunch of people

to submit it for you under add coin to show that there is a community.

https://yobit.net/en/addcoin/

Not sure if there any others, that is the one concrete website that I know does list for free (eventually).

Is there any other Yobit? What do u mean by eventually because the information on the website suggests that free is not guaranteed and it sounded like there is only < 50% chance of them listing the coin?

You can try coinexchange.io it is also a small exchange, I don't know if you could get it on for free but it's sure worth a shot since they aren't big and therefore need to list more quality coins. You can also have a look on coinmarketcap under the tab markets. It will show you all the platforms of exchange.

Thanks for replying but I cant seem to find the page where there is a form to request for adding of new coins. It would be great if u have the link to the page:)

I've send them an e-mail regarding the matter but it can take up to 24 hours for them to respond (sometimes a bit longer). I think your best go is to start preparing a pitch and hit them with an e-mail
1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unikrn ICO Question on: September 16, 2017, 01:45:51 AM
Will they give us the coins we buy right away or will we have to wait until the end of the ICO to get the coins?

You will have to ask them that yourself, I don't know and I doubt anyone on this forum knows.
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Where Are My Coins? on: September 16, 2017, 01:42:06 AM
I'm new to ICOs. I've bought into about 8 now and some release the coins right away, others I have to wait until the end of the ICO to get my coins, and ICOs I have to wait several weeks after the end of the ICO to get my coins (so they say).

Can someone please explain why they do that? Why not just give everyone the coins they buy right away, like some ICOs? And why does it take weeks after the end of an ICO to send coins? I don't get it.

ICO's have different systems and use different blockchains for distribution and storage. They might do it manually which takes some time or they might have certain bonus actions that consumes time for them to keep track of everything.
There can be a variety of reasons. If you're unsure or are expecting overdue coins then best is to contact them trough slack, e-mail or telegraph. Maybe they have a discord channel. Go pay them a visit and request for an admin and ask him/her to sort it out!
1356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jesus Coin on: September 16, 2017, 01:38:40 AM
Put a little jesuscoin in your wallets to protect them from sinfull transactions!

Even the most useless coins fit somewhere, I saw dogecoins being used as a tipping method for streamers and so on. Jesus coin will find it's place to serve the bigger purpose of crypto. Who knows, maybe the vatican will make it an official coin selling all their gold for Jesuscoins?
1357  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unikrn ICO Question on: September 16, 2017, 01:30:28 AM
I received an e-mail saying that they will anounce any upcoming sale in 2-3 weeks.

1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy -Updated- on: September 16, 2017, 01:04:31 AM
Phew. Wish I could get my own hands on Tether now selling at this price. This climb back was definitely on the cards, just didn't think it would happen so soon and so drastically. It'll of course not hold, and of course that let down will also be temporarily, hence my wish to have gotten some USDT. From the rather muted response on this forum and other channels, I'm guessing a lot of you silent holders managed to top-up your holdings today. We're all smug now, aren't we?

I did forecast a downtrend for september but I'm quite suprised by the timing still aswell, secretly I hoped this downtrend would have lasted untill the 22nd ish. My budget did not allow me to go hold some eth or btc but I did manage to get some ICO's cheap so I'm rather happy with the result.

Don't think this is a crash though, because it isn't. The price is going to rise back up. This FUD is a temporary facade created by 3rd party interests seeking only their own benefit at the expense of the crypto community.

Well in official terms it is a crash, when stocks fall with 20% or more its referred to as a crash, though since this far too common in this envoirment I think 40-50% could be referred to as a crash.

I just made a deal with these guys, honest, straightforward and amazing !

Yeah I figured it was you, makes sense since you we're first. Congratulations on the pay day.
