I think its quite difficult to get some ground in the social media business. I'm not entirely sure what they're up to but I can see from their homepage that they have free and paid content. There's a massive amount of movies you can watch for free, plus I don't really see anyone watching something on LBRY that they can on youtube.
I just briefly gazed their website but it doesn't look very interesting or appealing to me.

Hello,
I am currently running an electrum wallet and honestly the fee's are trough the roof. For an average transaction speed I'm looking at about 12 dollars, which is insane.
Are there wallets with lower fees?
Fees suggested by wallets are all estimates based on their algorithms, the current capacity of the mem pool and your speed preferences. Most of the time, no matter what a wallet suggests, you can decrease the fees and have it go through in the next few blocks. This works well on the weekends as well, when the number of transactions is typically lower. In short, all wallets will suggest fees, but none tell you what to pay. If the fee is high in one wallet, and lower in the other, it is only because they are suggesting lower fees based on the current transaction fees being paid at that moment. If you are not in a huge rush to receive the funds, put a lower transaction fee and it should go through within the next day or so at the most. I know this is not optimal but Bitcoin is getting blasted with high transactions right now. Hm Electrum wallet doesn't have an option for me to put my own fee in, the lowest it goes is 8 dollars which is still massive in my opinion. If you can adjust the fee's any other way than the slidebar/scroll can you tell me how? |

Beste forummers,
Ik lees al een tijdje mee op Bitcointalk om jullie vragen en ervaringen te lezen. Erg interessant!
Inmiddels heb ik een account bij Poloniex en BL3P. Ik wil daar graag met een klein bedrag een beetje spelen om te zien of ik dat kan vermeerderen. Het probleem is dat ik daar nog de ballen verstand van heb. Het principe, lager inkopen en hoger verkopen dat begrijp ik maar dan heb ik het ook wel gehad.
De eerste vraag die bij mij op komt voor ik hier aan ga beginnen is hoe dit eigenlijk werkt. Ik koop voor Bitcoins een Altcoin waarvan ik denk dat die munt gaat stijgen. Maar de Bitcoin vliegt ook omhoog en omlaag. Moet ik de koers van de Bitcoin dan ook in de gaten houden als ik de Altcoin wil verkopen? Of loopt de Altcoin koersstijging / daling altijd synchroon met de BTC koers?
Nu ik mijn vraag terug lees snap ik het zelf al niet meer. Wat ik bedoel te zeggen is dat als een Altcoin bv 10% stijgt en ik verkoop het weer dan krijg ik er Bitcoin voor terug. Maar als de Bitcoin op dat moment skyhigh is dan kan het zomaar zijn dat ik dan minder terug krijg dan wat ik heb ingelegd.
Nou ja zeg... ik heb nog wat te leren;)

Ik reken zelf in sats, vond dollars erg onhandig omdat Bitcoin constant stijgt en daalt en mijn prioriteit (omdat ik zelf met kleine bedragen handel) naar bitcoin gaat. Als ik een coin koop voor 100 sat en bitcoin stijgt met 100 en die coin is ineens 95 sat ofzo dan heb ik als het ware wel hetzelfde geld in fiat maar in Bitcoin ben ik er niet op vooruit gegaan. Had ik net zo goed me geld in Bitcoin kunnen laten en dan had ik die coin ook nog eens goedkoper in BTC kunnen kopen. Maar goed ik verwacht dan ook dat 1 BTC in de toekomst nog wel eens flink wat waard kan zijn, dus ik verzamel liever Bitcoin. Ik zie het niet graag dat ik in USD erop vooruit ben maar in Sats erop achteruit. Het is wel handig om kaarten te leren lezen. Heeft mij wel ontzettend geholpen, had NOG niet echte fouten gemaakt maar kaarten lezen helpt wel erg veel met het bepalen van een goed instap- en uitstapmoment. In principe als je altcoin in USD waarde gelijk blijft en bitcoin stijgt krijg je minder sats terug maar die sats zijn wel gestegen in waarde. Over het algemeen is bitcoin handel toch wel het meest rendabel, altcoins zijn te afhankelijk van bitcoin prijzen. Maar ik benadruk dat instap- en uitstapmoment het belangrijkst is en dan maakt het opzich niet zoveel uit of je bitcoin of altcoins koopt. |

Ik ben niet paranoïde ofzo maar... zou de TS met zo'n actie er iets aan hebben dat ie bij een bestelling van een willekeurige gebruiker met een Nickname ook zijn/haar echte naam en adres heeft?
Ja hoor, genoeg plekken waar je daarmee terecht kunt. Niets ernstigs maar wel een heleboel spam/nieuwsbrieven en post waar je HELEMAAAL niet op te wachten zit. Plus natuurlijk telefoontjes als je geregistreerd staat in het telefoonboek. Hoe meer informatie des te serieuzer het ook wel word. Met een mobiel nummer bijvoorbeeld kun je verwachten dood gegooid te worden met aanbiedingen. |

Je kunt ze ook gewoon vasthouden, je kunt er steeds meer mee: staatsburgerschap kopen, huizen, vakanties, noem maar op.
Bitcoin word niet erkend als legitiem valuta, dus ik weet niet zo goed hoe de regelgeving er naar kijkt als je ze ruilt voor de bovengenoemde goederen en luxe-producten.

Is er ook zo'n iemand die vorige maand zijn baan heeft opgegeven om aan een boel ponzi's mee te doen. Liet die zijn ''passieve'' ''inkomens'' ''bronnen'' zien. 3 daarvan waren al gestopt en ervandoor gegaan met investeerders geld. En iedereen moedigde die jongen ook nog aan en zeiden dat die echt ''geslaagd'' is in het leven.
Probleem vaak met die ponzi's is dat je geld krijgt anderen er in te sleuren en die beloningen zijn best wel hoog. En dan kan je wel zeggen 't is een ponzi, maar zolang zij zien dat ze geld krijgen (die ze vaak gewoon weer terugpompen in die ponzi) zeggen ze ''ja maar zoveel en zoveel geld al verdient en jij dan!?''
Ja goed, je weet zelf waar je aan begint, beste manier om mensen van scams te laten leren is door ze gewoon zelf verantwoordelijk te stellen want dan proeven ze wel een keer hoe bitter het kan zijn. Doen ze op veel games ook, i.p.v. super hard te gaan optreden en moderaten, gewoon mensen zelf (waarvan het toch al duidelijk is dat het oplichting is) laten ervaren dat het oplichting is. Nu weten ze dat ook wel maar ja.. gokje wagen toch? Daarna blijven ze er ook wel van weg wanneer ze een keer een flinke hap verloren hebben.
Kun je nog wat vraagtekens bij zetten, maar het werkt wel.

If you have the public address of your wallet, then yes you can. Perhaps it is a good idea to send a small amount from Bittrex first, before sending your main transaction. That way you can check if it arrives in your wallet.
Good point. Thanks! You can also switch to lite client, it doesn't download the blockchain. I would not recommend sending NXT before the sync has finished. But I'm also a technewb so.. |

I mean, is there an exact list of rules that could guarantee that someone who follows them will surely not become a victim of another ICO scam. Of course there are obvious rules like event participation, reputation of team members among ather prifessionals, approve by well-known advisors. But potential scammers also know all these criteria and know what to fake exactly.
Is there a 'blockchain way' to create an algorithm, scheme or set of conditions allowing to recognise and ban scammers? Not government laws way which also good for the market in my opinion.
Would be appreciate a link to an old thread, perhaps I just didn't find it.
There's no guarrantee but you can reduce the chances of being scammed. Such as investing in an ICO with a working prototype. In my opinion I think its ridiculous when a team wants to launch an ICO and still has to complete working on a prototype. Investing huge amounts into projects that haven't got anything to show for yet doesn't really incentivize them to work on it. |

Do not try to spread the false rumors. Some people may misunderstand it. But we need to speak clearly. There are always pennies removed from bittrex. But I'm sure it was a form of market filtering, which did not meet their standards, so it was deleted. That is inevitable. Well Bittrex is a USA based exchange and it had to remove certain coins in order of the SEC> Draco,Bitshares and some other. SEC also aims to make more moves like this in the future and threatens with banning the exchanges as a whole to crash bitcoin so it may never recover (yeah goodluck..). I won't take it serious(even if they do as they say) most likely you will just get cheap btc from it.. there are plenty of countries looking to accept crypto. It isn't a secret that the world is riddled in debt, Japan one of the countries with the most debt fully embraces crypto (smart move) and I suspect their high debt to be a part of it. The only people that like the monetary system are people with allot of money, bankers and governments like the federal because they can keep pumping their military. All they will ever accomplish is some panic selling. |

Can't find anything on this team related to Flik. Couldn't find the rappers LinkedIn, did find the LinkedIn of Ray Felton with 0 mentioning of FliK.
Ray Galllippi also shows 0 affiliation on linkedin to FliK.
Also their site doesn't feature a linkedin button. I wouldn't invest anything in this untill they show more than a cheap site and some concepts..
No dev team to be found aswell.. huge lack of information. Also what concers me is that the summary for each individual has been copy+pasted from wikipedia.
Compare it.. ain't hard to find.

They massively failed in participation of theier ICO, lots of people didn`t receive the tokens automatically, so they have to do it manually... So I ask myself if a company couldn`t do such a simple thing, will they really reach some massive success in the future?  They didn't make use of smartcontracts because lots of people send money from exchanges (which they indeed did) and they could not account for all the bonusses trough smart contracts. Everyone received their coins so I really don't see the point. |
