Not worth as much as ya thought huh?
1743  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL is Assembling 400 (not 300) Units a Day! on: August 02, 2013, 02:06:40 PM
not exactly 400 ...

http://ow.ly/i/2LIWm

I see ~120 priority boxes taped up and sitting on a dock. BFL could've easily taken a pic every single day since July 4, 2012, Full Production Day, depicting 100-400 boxes on the dock. Do they not realize how far showing such images would have carried them? They wouldn't even need to pay out one satoshi for advertising to garner more sales if they did such unless, of course, this was their biggest day ever in shipping, and Jody snapped that pic prior to having to change her underwear.

Give or take 5, there are 134 boxes in this picture.

1744  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ships a whole month of Little Singles in 2 days on: August 02, 2013, 01:52:34 PM
https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/

yes, i know there were less Little Singles ordered than pretty much anything else. The first month may only represent a hundred or so miners, but that is just the current consensus guess. If this rate could be maintained (an unlikely stretch) then a unit ordered today would be delivered by the end of the month.

Not trying to be a shill here, but any time someone actually delivers substantial hashing power it is certainly news worthy. That is somewhere around 2.5 Th/s plug and play ready about to come online in the next few days.

To ship a month of LS in a day they needed only ship less than 100, so what's the big deal.
Ship a months worth of SINGLES in a day or two and we will be impressed.

Bottom line, still shipping less than 100 units a day, today they did little singles. Big deal

They don't have enough resources (people, parts) to do anything in volume.
1745  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Usb block erupter discount coupons for sale (0.3 Btc/pc) on: August 02, 2013, 01:33:02 AM
You misread I said 0.4   Undecided

My point is if I can but 10 from Canary for BTC5.0 with freight, the coupon deal is not really worth the effort
1746  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs shipping 300 units a day on: August 01, 2013, 02:11:54 PM

Josh just announced that all pre-orders will be shipped out within 29 days.

If true, definitivelly best news today.
Lol, do you think  Phinnaeus Gage is a teller of truth?

Well Phinnaeus (I think) got that info from a post where Josh said he expected the backlog to be cleared by the end of August or something like that.

EDIT: He says it here: https://forums.butterflylabs.com/pre-sales-questions/3611-buttefly-company-still-work-not-3.html#post44788

From Josh:

Yes, I still expect us to be through the back orders by the end of August.

This is physically impossible and will never happen.

Won't happen by the end of September either.

They are currently shipping no more than 75 units a day
1747  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] USB Block Erupter! Lowest price value! on: August 01, 2013, 12:24:06 AM
If you are in the U.S. I will take 12 @ BTC0.33
1748  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Usb block erupter discount coupons for sale (0.3 Btc/pc) on: July 31, 2013, 11:31:44 PM

By my math, your coupons (at 0.3btc) afford me a 0.0655 discount on what I can pay cash for from someone who has a reputation.

I can buy 10 from Canary for BTC0.50 each

Am I figuring this wrong?

Im not sure how you figured out number "0,0655" but ... my one coupon = 1 Usb miner, that means 1 usb miner for 0.3 Btc

And yes you can buy from someone who has reputaion...your choice ....

Sorry I am even more confused now.

I give you BTC0.3 and you give me a coupon or a Block Eruptor?

If you don't give me a B.E. than I have to pay another BTC0.1 for a B.E.? Making my total cost BTC0.4

Leawood KS Police already have a file opened.

Contact this person who is heading up the investigation:

JohnF@leawood.org

Det. John Freeman   (913) 642-5555 X209

But what laws could they have violated in local jurisdiction?  Eliminate all crimes against person (which corporations cannot engage in) from local jurisdiction, and you're pretty much left with traffic, substance abuse, and property code violations.

Things like wire fraud are federal in scope; securities law violations are possibly state, but never local.

Goodness you folks are so naive.

Local law enforcement does the investigation,
they can turn it over to the State Bureau of Investigation  (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kansas_Bureau_of_Investigation)
or turn it over to the FBI

It has to start somewhere.

1757  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: @Yifu/Bitsyncom please dont hold back the chip shipment because of b3 miners... on: July 30, 2013, 04:24:30 PM
Who has his cell phone number.

I am pretty sure I can get his attention.

After a while you are just a chump.  Question is when is that? 12 weeks? 14 weeks?  4 months?

Now that we are approaching 4 months from my chips order date I am starting to feel like a chump for sure. I trusted Avalon, and with every day that goes by I feel more snd more like my trust was misplaced.  I made the best mining investment I could in late April, and even that turned out to be a dud.

Truth is that the best investment from now on might be to buy and hold coins only. Too many people rushed into mining at once after our 3 month gold rush. Mining became over invested when the price peaked early 2013 and before mining power could come online fast enough to compensate.

Nobody knew the chips would be delayed back in April. It seemed like shipping could happen within 9 weeks at that time. They are just chips. Chips that they made before already.

--------------------------

None of this negates the fact that if you show up in china with a lawsuit over this you will get more laughs then results. What a waste of time and money. The fact that I realize this does not make me a doormat. It make me practical. I have no power to enforce Avalons shipping dates and the sooner I realize that and move on the better. I need to focus my energy on things I have control over now.

I believe your buddy Yifu is in NY

I love how you guys post here like they are going to respond.

Don't any of you know a lawyer who can send these guys a certified letter and start the process?

It's really very simple, they took your money and now you need to get their attention.

Just need someone to step up.

He holds all the cards and I know that sending him something from a lawyer won't help speed him up, only slow him down.

You sir are a doormat.

He holds all the cards??  You paid, he did not deliver. Its not about "oh maybe someday he will send me what I paid for"  After a while you are just a chump.  Question is when is that? 12 weeks? 14 weeks?  4 months?
