Not marked it is luck of the draw. And they are hard to test. Once on board you will have hard time removing them. It is possible to make a test socket with springs but it would be expansive and hard...
I'm okay with that, luck of the draw it is then. Its a shame the chips are of such an inferior quality but that is par for the course. They do sell FPGA sockets, binning the chips would be good for everyone

No, they should sit on Gen2 until every motherflucking Avalon Gen1 device is delivered by Terrahash, BKK and everyone else who bought chips and then wait one more month
|
|

may i ask why there are only samples arriving and what have you ordered to get these samples? i'am not involved exactly in avalon hardware...
30 chips per account ordering in excess of 10,000 chips (not per 10,000 chips), and because some disgruntled forum members grew a pair, quit being pussies, and laid the smack down on Bitsyncom to stop being evasive, or be held accountable. Who actually did that? I'd like the details and perhaps send him a token of my appreciation.

wow the difference between the tools and style of the first video vs. the second is crazy. Thanks for the links btw I actually learned a lot

Rightio, I've purchased 100 of each resistor for each 0.05v increase (they were 0.8 cents each, I couldn't resist ) I've purchased 3 of each 2mhz step of the crystals. Hot my hot air soldering station in the mail. So I'm nearly ready to get modding! Ditto. Just waiting on hot air kit and some teeny tiny 1.5mm and 1mm hot air gun nozzles for the rework. If you bought one of the ebay cheapo kits like i did, you're gonna need smaller nozzle tips. After watching one or two vids on youtube, i'm now an instant expert.....haha. How 'bout some links to those Youtube videos so wez canz all b smartz?

Who's deploying then? The network hashrate seems to be going up in lockstep with the amount of hashrate we are shipping out, give or take a slight deviation.
It's like High School, show your work (math) or you get no credit.

But honestly, whatever is in the backlog will never make ROI. It is a write-off folks. BFL had their window of opportunity but it has long since closed. Wonder if they are going to come out with Gen2 plans (and perhaps upgrade orders that have been in the queue for over 6 months) or just close up shop.
Someone doesn't understand how bitcoin mining works... Someone doesn't understand how supply chain and fulfillment works otherwise you would not have predicted the end of September to clear 421 days of backlog in the remaining 33 working days (you don't work on weekends right) that you have between now and the end of September. Here you are again making open ended statements without the next sentence.

BUMP! Anyone in Illinois? I'll sell to you at the rate of 0.39 BTC and minimum order of 5 pieces! Best value so far
Why Illinois is that where you are located? This is where I knew something was fishy. He said he was in Chicago, but your tracking info for this package came from Vermont. Once he didn't reply, I was out. Also I made him a low ball offer of .33 each via PM and he responded positively in about 30 seconds.

It's not that bad, it's just changing R1 and the crystal. The stock crystals needed to be removed anyway and they're quite a pain to unsolder for the first time, now I've got leaded solder on there when the new crystals arrive they'll be much easier to swap out and hopefully with the extra cooling I can get them to run at twice the speed they do now. Right now I'm running them with extra heatsinking and fan cooling.
Twice 360Mh??

Seems like a lot of effort for 0.027Mh increase

Prove it, get them to send you a single sample chip. I'll bet they can't deliver. May also notice the thieves on Alibaba are also selling 60gh BFL singles and Block Erupters for $168

Well if there are 800k chips held up in customs then someone needs to go there instead of Amsterdam, and get the chips released.
Bring a bag of Yen and pay off who you have to dumb ass.
