I am not a developer so I don't know what the best way to do this is. Basically, I need someone to code or at least tell me how to implement an API that will allow me to pull data from a website automatically and have it update on excel. The way I have done this before for bitcoins price on coinmarketcap is by going to DATA- Webpage. However this API looks like it might be harder as it needs some code since it is a password protected webpage. I need help importing an API that I got from this site, into excel. So that Excel will be able to pull information off of the site and automatically update into my excel sheet. The site has a username and password and on the developer page it says I need to use HTTP Basic Auth.
I pasted the url I was given in Firefox and it gave me an error, so I am not sure what I am doing wrong. If anyone could help on this ASAP I would appreciate it.
