Guru BitcoinGirl.Club you mind sharing your picks for the next round?  Tongue Look at that big jump hell yeah

If RCB loses today, they will once again reduce their chances of qualifying into the next round, if they lose they will have to win at least 3 matches out of the next 4 that they will play, on the other hand, if MI loses today battle would be quite fierce for the 4th spot as it would become pretty easy for RCB to qualify ahead. We'll then have 4 teams, KKR, PBKS, MI, and RR competing for the 4th spot with neck-to-neck competition, if this happens even a team with 14 points could possibly qualify once again. From the form in phase 2, my bet for the 4th spot will be on KKR.
Mumbai Indian is in real mess, i don't remember the last time when they were struggling this badly. Every batter except openers shitting everywhere. Ishan,SKY,Pollard and Hardik struggling really bad in second leg. Ishan, Sky and hardik are in Indian T-20 squad lol. Cries  Grin Grin

Both of you especially BitcoinGirl.Club did extremely well in this round so you guys are allowed to show some attitude  Grin . Point table is changed completly and it could change again as we have 16 more game to go.

I feel this IPL is going to effect Indian WC squad. They already announced the Squad but this shouldn't surprise anyone if some players gets some heat due to their performance or may be fitness.

Another important update.

BCCI also gave green light to next domestic season. Hope everything goes well, fingers crossed.

- Starts on 28 Sep 2021 and run till 2 April 2022
- Bio bubble setup in 25 cities, Partnering with Apollo hospitals.
- 13 tournaments with 1054 domestic matches in the 2021-22 season  Shocked  Roll Eyes (Previous seasons had more games but this is still very big considering pandemic)
- Irani Trophy (Series between Ranji Winner and Rest of India), Duleep Trophy are excluded.

https://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/119175/bcci-to-conduct-13-tournaments-1054-domestic-games-in-2021-22-season

So we will have the 4-day competition after a gap of three years? If I was not wrong, the Ranji trophy was last played in 2019. Now they are not taking the COVID situation that seriously, because almost everyone is either fully or partially vaccinated and even in case someone is infected the chances are that it will not result in hospitalization. Given the lax attitude towards quarantine and other preventive measures, I am not sure whether bio-bubbles are practical for thousands of players. Who is going to make sure that there is no breach?
Yeah, 2020-21 season got cancelled due to covid.

Vaccination drive is going okay, cases are going down and they can't afford to cancel another season so can understand their POV. Well they are partnering with the hospitals and hotels for a reason but I agree that monitoring the large pool of players could be daunting task, let's see. Would be great if they can avoid Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra venues, although i know its not going to happen specially with Maharashtra case.

Oh boy

What a match!! Low scoring game are really fun to watch for sure. Didn't had any hope from the Punjab after their batters put on very bad show but damn their bowlers pulled out the game nicely.

Quite surprising that franchise still showing faith in Mr Jadhav, in ideal world he should pay money to the franchise to get selected in the squad.  Grin

County cricket also struggling, pitches there are ridiculously favors the fast bowlers that's why you see 4 days match gets done and dusted in just 2 days regularly.
If they could make the same pitches for international cricket that would be great, the game now a days favors the batsman and they need to be bowler friendly as well just to test the players and which county matches are you talking about that ends in a couple of days. I am not a big fan of watching all the matches but i am curious to know which matches are bowler friendly as i would like to see those matches.
English County cricket

Pitch was way too much seam friendly that 2-3 match got over under 2 days at the exactly same time. These pitches attracted some attention and fair amount of backlace when England's team got bowled out in 1 session at lord's against the Indian team and failed to bat whole day during the 4th Oval Test.

Argument was England batters don't have mindset to bat longer because of such system and obviously can't face spin as they hardly face any spinner in County, also English seamers-batters are not equipped for flat pitches. One commentator said that we can't play spin in India, we can't play on flat pitch and their seamers bullying us at our own backyard.

We need to check his picks.
BitcoinGirl.Club is on to something. He won 5 out of 6 game in this round, Bravo!!! and couple of game were upsets, i'm not winning anything so his picks are my new base template for the next 4 games (this round only).  Tongue

This tells the complete story.

I am feeling sad for Captain Kohli, I am not his die-hard fan but every person deserves a winning farewell especially when you haven't won this trophy throughout your career, but honestly, RCB in the second phase looks entirely different from the team in the first phase, Despite having such a powerful batting line up on paper all their star batsmen are struggling with their form including the captain himself, even today's 50 from VK went to vain due to slow Strike Rate towards death and absolutely zero support from the middle order, won't blame the bowlers for this because conditions in UAE are entirely different from conditions in India for bowlers.
One of the reason he's called Panuti. I feel for him too but only in ICC tourny because of my vested interest. Don't care much if he win or not in the IPL. His team can bounce back tho, they are still at 3rd place so their play off chances are better than bottom 5.

This tells the complete story. Mumbai Indians had the more or less same track data last night.

Things looking bad for the Royals because this is below par score at Sharjah and its very small ground. Koach & Co need to ball really tight spells.

Lord Thakur doing his sorcery , again n again and no one is there to stop him or ban him for life.  Tongue

If they continue winning then i think play off seems very much possible.
They are already in the top 4 currently. Their chances of qualifying are pretty high thanks to their NRR, but they need to keep winning couple more matches as you mentioned.
They were sitting at bottom 2 before second leg kicked in.

The pool sucks for me. So far was able to collect only 2 points. Whatever I pick turns out wrong for me :-D
Same story for everyone, grass is definitely greener on the other side. hehe

This one just came at the right time. So they are getting an increment from ₹35,000 per day to ₹60,000 (although limited to players who have represented the state in more than 40 matches). The BCCI should focus more on the domestic cricket. The quality is noway near the competitions in England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or West Indies. Right now a huge gap exists in the quality between the IPL and domestic cricket. One good initiative would be to introduce franchise system with the domestic teams as well.
I wouldn't say that quality is not there. You can easily find 8-10 quality teams who can beat any SENA country domestic team here in India 9 out of 10 times and able to put good show in SENA country against local teams. Even 3-4 local teams can give good scare to any touring team (intl), we have seen this in the past countless time.

County cricket also struggling, pitches there are ridiculously favors the fast bowlers that's why you see 4 days match gets done and dusted in just 2 days regularly.

V. Iyer is the boost that KKR needed in the second leg of this season. Whoever chose him needs to get a raise. KKR batting and bowling have improved a lot in recent matches.

Also, just checked the Superbru picks and was surprised to see that I am the only person who chose KKR over MI. I didn't get the margin point though since I didn't expect KKR to decimate MI in such a fabulous manner.
I am too busy these days, forget about picking a team I barely know who all are playing for the day, but I think I should try to pick for next 3-4 matches in one day so that I don't miss the chance to pick a team.

Talking about V.Iyer has batted like a legend, no one can say he was playing his debut match, secondly, Rahul Tripathi is playing as if he is angry with selectors for not even considering him in international cricket, KKR batting lineup now looks so good that They don't even need Morgan and Russel to make big impactful scores. 4 youngsters, Shubhman, Iyer, Rana, and Tripathi are enough to back the whole batting.
KKR had nothing to lose when 2nd leg started so their batters playing aggressively and one would say that team management also backing them, no matter if they lose the wicket or not.  If they continue winning then i think play off seems very much possible.

They didn't care about any bowler's reputation last night lol. Indian team need such young batters in T-20.

I forgot to pick today.  Roll Eyes
Default pick is RCB which is a loss which is why webtricks and bitcoingirl are the only winners though none of them predicted the correct margin.
Don't know if last game was upset or not but RCB did shit on their pants.

Random picks does not pay off LOL
I am yet to get my first point in this 2nd leg.
Dumb question but i ask anyway  Grin How does this random pick works in general, is there any automatic option available in superbru to pick team?

Or you pick your option manually?

Good video on old trafford test cancellation. It appears that players are saying enough is enough regarding their tight schedule and mental health.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_qk0Og-qoY

I understand that the players are not very comfortable with the tightened restrictions. Previously when the Indian team used to tour the SENA countries, they used to treat these tours as paid vacations. Usually they would bring their entire families along, and would spent most of the time in shopping and other activities. Due to the pandemic, these activities are not possible now. But that doesn't mean that the players are not enjoying. If that was the case, then how bio-bubble breach was reported on 3 times in the last six months?
All of you diverted the mental health and extremely tight schedule discussion to disciplinary behavior hehe
