Because I believe that this is a matchup between two close teams in strength these days. I think like this because of seeing Chelsea's inadequate performance in the recent times. However they have made a really good return by their Bournemouth game last. It was a completely one-sided game and an easy win. But we saw this from Liverpool as well. They won against the same opponent by an emormous goal difference also but they were still inconsistent later. Therefore we need to watch a few more games to be confident about something.

Reece James is arguably Chelsea best player this season, Mason mount has been average and this has contributed to our poor form recently. I think this game is the most  unpredictable match since the win can go both ways. I'm a Chelsea fans and I'll favour my club over another even when the odds are against us. I think Chelsea wins this and if Reece James was to be available for this game then we destroy them both home and away and mightn't even concede in both games.

I am pretty sure none of us would have wanted this sort of game in the RO16 stage, i mean this was last seasons CL final, we would have been happier if this game came in the later stages of the competition, but i guess it is what it is, it is just like the PSG v Bayern Munich game, these are big matches worthy of being a CL final, but we are going to experience them quite early in the competition.

Having said that, i don't think there's any chance in hell that the game is going to be boring or that fans will be disappointed with what they'd see, i am expecting a very open and entertaining game, the both sides are usually always interesting to watch, thus i am not expecting anything different in this game. Well i expect Real Madrid to come out victorious like they did in last seasons CL final.

Chelsea need to sign some players also to supplement the midfielder's you have Azpilicueta is one of Chelsea's most trusted defender even if he barely gets enough game time to play he hasn't caused an error leading to scoring Chelsea, him aging might be the reason his position was used to hurt Chelsea. Graham Potter should have used Chalobah for replacement of James, good game for Chelsea they will get another three points against Nothingham Forest next week.

Nunez is a talented player. But he is unable to adapt himself to the Liverpool team. Liverpool management had high expectations from Nunez. Nunez was brought in by Liverpool as a replacement for Sadio Mane. But he is not playing well. The coach should give Nunez his full support. I believe that with enough support from the coach and if Nunez is diligent, he can play well with Liverpool.

To be honest, right now I wouldn't say that Liverpool's chances are bigger than Real Madrid, because there are many reasons why I see it that way, one of them is their performance. But if they manage to improve the weaknesses they currently have, maybe my assessment will change as the improvements they make. They still have plenty of time before this match takes place, so there should be no reason for Liverpool not to prepare well and make the most of the time they have. They started their movement by buying several players, like Cody Gakpo for example, this is expected to improve their performance on the front lines, and their potential to bring in more players is still very wide open.

This match will be played on 16 February 2023, of course, before this match started both teams had brought in new players. Chelsea is working on strengthening the team and the transfer market will be used as best as possible to find quality players.

I think they will gain 3 more points against Nottingham Forrest. It was a good win for Chelsea. James' injury was bad.  They managed to win 2-0 with 2 goals they found early. After gaining 3 points in these matches, they will do their best to increase their ranking in the league. Losing points in these matches means a big problem. They should not lose points in these matches.

But on the other hand, if you look from the point of view of an unbiased fan, everyone is waiting for just such games. The match between Chelsea and Dortmund is a case of a sub top match. 2 teams that are just below the real top. Although Chelsea are closer, as they also won the CL a few years ago. For CL successes from Dortmund we have to go back longer, then they were really at the absolute top in Europe together with teams like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona. We don't see much of that team and type of football anymore. Jurgen Klopp then turned Dortmund into a fantastic team. I don't think Real Madrid will continue to dominate the Champions League this season like last season. Last season Madrid was able to perform consistently well thanks to Benzema's excellent performances. But Benzema is not in good form this season. And so I don't think Madrid will be able to continue to perform consistently well. I think Manchester City or PSG will be championing this season.

Nunez has become a failed striker for liverpool. There have been bunch of memes created by liverpudlians for him caused by he was always missing the golden opportunity to make the goal. gakpo has become a new bet for liverpool. We will see whether gakpo will become a successful transfer by liverpool or he will did nothing like nunez. This is gambling that has been taken by liverpool. It seems like that klopp didn't feel satisfied with the performance from nunez. glad to see that liverpool bought another striker.

It seems that until now indeed he failed to meet the target as a replacement for Mane. His fate is like Hazard in madrid, but he is indeed new to come and I think it still takes a lot of opportunities to be trusted. I once wrote, maybe Klopp could give him the option to lend him first. Then in January they can buy a replacement to accompany Moh Salah. To this day it is too short to decide Nunez's purchase failed because of the time not long in the EPL. First I thought he was going to compete with Haaland but I was wrong.

The problem is that Hazard stayed at Real even though he wasn't used, because he was getting paid insanely well. If Nunez trusts himself then the first thing he should do would be asking for a transfer. If he believes that he is a good player but lost in the system of Liverpool, he could leave for another team and he could show how great he is somewhere else.

This will result in either of two things, either he will show how great he is in another club and get paid more and long term instead of just a few years, or he will be terrible there as well and soon be forgotten. So, he has to make a decision, make what you can at Liverpool salary and then be bad, or take the risk for a higher pay.
