321  Economy / Invites & Accounts / [WTB] Audible.com account on: November 09, 2017, 07:15:50 AM
I am currently on the lookout for an Audible account. I have never seen anyone selling these in the forums so I am well aware that I might not be able to get them at a better price than what is offered by Audible themselves here in the forums, but if anyone knows of a way to get an account (a somewhat discounted one) other than the free trial then that would be great. I would also like to know if there are ways to get around the free trial so that it can be done more than once or possibly just make it work by switching payment methods (it seems that there might be something like this in the system).
322  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 【Bitcoin Debit Card UQUID】 Best Bitcoin and Altcoins debit card | 0% Fee Deposit on: November 09, 2017, 06:18:48 AM
Which card issuer do they use?

They used to use Wavecrest before the entire rework of their card system and before the news about Wavecrest restricting a bunch of countries came out. Ever since they have promised to make deals with other providers but I know nothing about how that turned out. I assume that Wavecrest is still to be used for customers in the European Union, albeit some people here have said that they have yet to hear anything from UQUID even inside the EU. Honestly, you should probably look elsewhere at the moment if you are looking for a card.
I'm in the EU and nothing, just a million broken promises. I'm not sure that uquid could ever back from this... even if they wanted to.

I honestly don't see who would be investing in their ICO at this point. They went from having my support to not having a bit of my faith. It seems like there have already been up to 16K of investments into their ICO, which is honestly kind of mindblowing considering they completely lack a working product at this point. They quite literally let it fall apart. I would not be surprised if the number shown in their ICO page was actually made up and purposed to deceive other people into investing into it, which unfortunately is probably going to work.
323  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: November 08, 2017, 11:37:24 PM
I was about to have a look at the site, but are forwarded with a warning message from my browser that the connection isn't secured. Firefox says that chipmixer.com uses an invalid security certificate, which is expired currently? It needs some urgency because it may distract some people thinking it's unsafe to use this site.

I cannot reproduce this problem... Everything seems ok to me.
It seems chipmixer is using a letsencrypt certificate, if i'm not mistaking, those ones have to be renewed every 3 months...

I just tried accessing the site, but it seems to not be working at all, whether that is through a secure connection or through a regular one. The site does properly redirect to the HTTPS port 443, but I just keep getting a 504 timeout when I try to access it.

I am assuming this is temporary and that maybe the certificate is being renewed right now, albeit as you said, you had no such problem. Perhaps it is competitors DDoSing the site again, but hopefully it will all be back up soon. I do not know if the Tor link is working, but if they both connect to the same server then it is probably down as well.

Edit: It seems to be back up!
324  Economy / Services / Re: Amazon Digital Refund! on: November 08, 2017, 07:52:00 AM
This is not only wrong, but also illegal. You are defrauding Amazon. I've tagged OP, and will tag anyone who participates in stuff like this.
I'm just offering a service if you agree you did not receive your product and that you deserve to get a compensation.
As Amazon TOS states they have no liability on digital items I can assure you it isn't against their ToS.

Are you sure this is legal and legit? We don't want anything that affects Amazon's TOS.
Yes! I'm just offering a service if you agree you did not receive your product and that you deserve to get a compensation.
Can I take the vouch offer?
Yes, add me on skype or discord

It is true that OP does not specify that this is specifically for fraud purposes such as illegitimate refunds where a refund is not rightly deserved for business redressing purposes, but this still sounds very fishy. I do not believe it violates the forum guidelines as it is not explicitly an illegal act. That being said, Amazon does not actually do any refunds on any digital items that I know of which leads me to believe that OP is going to be doing some sort of social engineering to get this to work, but of course, I am not sure about this. I just advise anyone interested to be careful: consequences might end up affecting your Amazon account.
325  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-07] Bitcoin has no future because of its anonymity on: November 08, 2017, 07:45:02 AM
Another banker attacking bitcoin because they are losing more customers knowing that people are more inclined to invest into something that they can have rate of return significantly huge than the banks do. It may be effective before spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt to bitcoin holders but the investors and traders knew better this time that is why even if they have been successful in making its price drop drastically months ago, they can't do it this time. Jamie Dimon's ulterior motive in spreading FUD to buy bitcoin lower have been exposed that's why this time now, banker's words have no effect to the community.

I am not fully sure what you mean by what you said here, but I take it that you are of the opinion that the "something" that you are referring to has a "rate of return significantly huge than the banks do" is Bitcoin? If so, then you are technically right, but your reasoning is flawed. Bitcoin by itself is not a replacement for investing in order to grow your wealth. What it sounds like you are suggesting is that people with money in funds should have it in Bitcoin instead. This is a terrible idea because of how volatile Bitcoin is and how its value is not guaranteed to go up. It is simply a risky investment. It is a great idea to have it as part of your diversified portfolio, but all modesty rules should be followed in this regard. Investing in Bitcoin (or anything, really) is not immediately going to make you wealthier.
326  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [MSDN INVITES] Free Microsoft licence keys + $150 Azure credits/month (VPS) on: November 08, 2017, 05:38:38 AM
As the poster before me kind of hinted, getting invites is now a bad idea. Ever since the changes to MSDN and how accounts and invites work, buying invites even with escrow is a very bad idea because the owner of the admin account has full access to not only revoking, but also reallocating invites from one person to another. The way it used to be was safer because the sellers would have no net gain from revoking invites as they would simply just lose them, but now they can instead just scam as many people as they would like. I am not claiming that OP is a scammer, but just mentioning the possibility that he could be and making others aware that this is not at all like it used to be before the changes.
327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase in a nutshell on: November 07, 2017, 09:04:44 AM
I have been using Coinbase for a while and currently have them connected to my Shift Card. I believe they get much more hate on these forums than they deserve and I feel like a good part of it is because of how closely they follow government regulations. Sure, that might be against some people's ideals, but the service works and I have never had any issue with them myself. Small typos like the one shown in the OP do make you question the quality of the services they may provide, but my experience with them offsets that for me. I honestly don't know of any better alternative for my current situation to exchange Bitcoin and fiat, and although I don't keep a significant amount of funds with them, I have never experienced any random loss of Bitcoin/USD from my wallet.
328  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] Ecoweb Hosting - Advanced Account valid for 2 years | SSD, Unlimited, SSL on: November 07, 2017, 06:24:11 AM
I'm confused by your offer. Is there a limit on webspace and/or bandwidth?

You say...

With unlimited webspace and bandwidth as well as unlimited domains, this account will satisfy the most demanding internet user.
Other than webspace and bandwidth, everything else — databases, subdomains, e-mail addresses — is unlimited.

So you are basically contradicting yourself in those 2 sentences. Regardless, without more details it is simply impossible to gauge this offer against other web providers. If I understand correctly, you are also just reselling an already existing account and do not actually have any sort of relation to the web host itself, correct?

...............................................Honestly, you should probably look elsewhere at the moment if you are looking for a card.

Do you have an idea where to look? even others stopped both virtual and plastic cards to countries outside EU, since 11/25/2016 and it was not related to crypto currencies.

That would depend on many factors. Personally, I have had success with Shift, but that one is only available for U.S. residents. Where are you located and how much personally identifying information are you willing to provide? The range of providers that have cards that require no KYC information is now really small. For most you have to at least provide personal information such as name and personal identifying numbers such as the American Social Security Number. On top of that, if you need higher limits on your transactions you will need to provide photo identification to most providers as well.

Edit: Fixed quote
330  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] MSDN Invites on: November 06, 2017, 06:03:44 AM
Hey, I was in the market for one of these a few years back, specifically for the Azure subscription that came with it in order to obtain all of the developer privileges, but not for code reselling or such that other people here do. The bottom line now is that ever since Microsoft changed their subscription model, obtaining invites is way too risky. People with the admin account have full control of whether they would like to change or revoke invites previously sent out (as they are now allowed to do that unlike before) and you can keep thinking you are fine and have not been scammed until the owner finds someone else to "sell" the invite to, at which time you would lose your own access. Either change platforms or get an MSDN admin account instead. It will save you a great deal of trouble.
331  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-06] Blockchain On Rage In Business Schools on: November 06, 2017, 05:54:43 AM
I did take some finance classes at my university this past summer and Bitcoin was brought up occasionally as a must in portfolio diversification. Our professor mentioned how many investors and some big companies already have invested in Bitcoin even if they have not yet publicized it. For organizations themselves, you can usually check on their retained assets in their public financial/insider information which they usually publish once each quarter. That being said, it is important to understand the risks involved in these investments and that Bitcoin's value fluctuates much more than other more stable assets out there in the market.

very few actvity for 1000++  members, why not make it paid to post forum? so you can encourage more activity

Absolutely not. That would only encourage spam like is the case with signature campaigns here with managers who do not check on their posters' posts for quality assurance. Recently this practice has become better where only a few campaign managers do not seem to care about post quality, but I know of a couple of campaigns which scream spam at me.

I agree that there needs to be an incentive for people to migrate or at least use both forums actively, but I do not think that payment for posting should be it. Perhaps a more niche topic that is not covered well in this forum could serve better or maybe a better trust system? Regardless, as it stands right now, I doubt it will be growing at a good pace.
334  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-04] ‘Im Open’ to Bitcoin: Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein on: November 05, 2017, 06:26:36 AM
So here is what I am seeing way too often around not only these forums, but also the Bitcoin subreddit: We have constant news of people who may have previously been against Bitcoin starting to embrace Bitcoin and people in the comments always bashing them repeatedly for it. Truth is, from their point of view, Bitcoin was (and technically still is, like most other assets) a completely speculative asset. There is no backing for it and no significantly stable perceived value in it. Now that more people are starting to notice it, its value becomes more apparent and more appreciated by investors. It would be crazy to think that these big investors such as Sachs would brush it aside when it gets this big. It should come as no surprise to anyone that people can change opinions on the matter. What constructive value can we get other than that from these sort of articles, anyway? I don't see anything useful in this thread's replies other than some of the most recent ones.
335  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Google Drive Unlimited 2$/Account .edu new fresh on: November 05, 2017, 04:20:59 AM
I received an account for the new domain and can confirm that it works. Again, I cannot say anything about the longetivity of it just yet but the account was fresh new and has unlimited storage plus it is from an organization that is different from the original domain that previously got the account suspended by the admin. I will post back if anytging changes; I will be checking back on it regularly.
336  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex Disabled Accounts - did your account get disabled? on: November 04, 2017, 07:04:41 AM
I got disabled in US. Although I am not a citizen of US, but I live in US right now.

What was the IP address of the place where you registered from?

Furthermore, have you logged in from any place other than the U.S. to this same account? I believe that the location detection could work on either registration location or on the most recent location, albeit maybe it does work on citizenship country. However, I doubt this is the case as Bittrex does not actually have any way of knowing what your citizenship country is if you are not verified anyway, leading me to think that at one point you must have logged in from elsewhere which might have raised a flag for needing further verification. This is just a guess, though.
Common cases why bittrex do  blocked or disabled accounts because of using VPN which a friend of mine did experience such thing that his bittrex account has been blocked and he tried out what happened and asking regarding any violations that he possibly commit until the support did make some reply stating that it is being logged in on different country which they did disable the account for security purpose. He just remember that he did able to logged-in using VPN which he do explain on them and activate his account back.

Ah, so that could potentially be the underlying cause between some of the account suspensions. But then more importantly for those affected, I take it that your friend was able to talk them into re-enabling his account without requiring any verification? If so, then that is very good news for those with suspended accounts seeking to get them re-enabled while still maintaining their privacy/anonymity and not having to send over their identification documents to a party that they don't necessarily trust. Of course, just trying to get ahold of their customer service in and of itself is a pretty good idea regardless. Good luck to those affected.
337  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: November 04, 2017, 04:57:03 AM
Are you guys still working in upgrading to SegWit? I found this thread of yours from August but I see that the addresses generated are still non-SegWit ones.

I don't see much of a point in this since people are still working with non SegWit addresses, so the benefit isn't really there if ChipMixer does happen to roll it out. I can only see this being a viable option when people on a large scale are transacting with SegWit addresses, and as long as that isn't the case, it's not much of a useful addition. SegWit has been active on Litecoin for quite a while now, and a lot transactions there are still non SegWit, which basically means that people and services haven't yet taken the effort to actually utilize SegWit to the full.

If I remember correctly, the actual usage average a few days ago was somewhere around 15% and going down for whatever reason. Personally, I don't even know which wallets support the feature and which don't. Regardless, the number of transactions performed from ChipMixer addresses may be negligible to the total amount required for SegWit to significantly decrease transaction sizes, but if enough places were to adopt this feature, it would help the network significantly. If ChipMixer were to adopt this they could set an example, albeit it would certainly not have a direct effect on transaction fees.
338  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Google Drive Unlimited 2$/Account ac.id new fresh on: November 04, 2017, 04:42:58 AM
Since I received a vouch copy I have the responsibility of being completely transparent to anyone who may come across this thread and be interested in this product. I was contacted by OP about my account having been deleted by the system administrator in charge and was provided with a new account at no extra charge. This, however, means that any data which may have been in my account could have been lost. That puts its original longetivity since the time that I got the original account at some time around 3 weeks, which is not that good. Take this as you may, however. The true value perceived depends on the buyer. OP has been more than helpful the entire time.
thanks mate,, i am very sorry, i never get like this problem, my account get deleted, but i have change the account that get deleted by admin of univrsity, this is first time as long as i sell google drive account. i hope always give the best for my buyers Smiley

You should provide a few more details for transparency to others. It would help boost sales.

For example, was what happened to my account the same that happened to other accounts or was it only my account individually? How can you prevent this from happening in the future? Answering these questions can provide security for anyone trying to buy an account.
dont worry, i am not seeling ac.id again, i sell for smccd.edu, because ac.id before has not been save Smiley

Sounds good. For the record, the one that I have is ac.id, so I cannot vouch for smccd.edu. I will post any updates regarding what happens to the ac.id account, but I can make no guarantees as to the longetivity of the smccd.edu ones. I just wanted to put the disclaimer out there before anybody complains about anything that could happen with the other one. Feel free to change this if you like by sending me a PM with information for that one (or not, up to you). I will update regardless.

At first I thought that you had locket yourself out but it seems like you simply lost the actual wallet file instead. In this case, you are most likely out of luck. Because of the way SSDs work, unlike with HDDs, it is extremely unlikely that you will be getting your file back through any recovery peograms. Since it's 7 BTC that we are talking about, I obviously think you should still try it out, but don't get your hopes up. The best thing you can do is use another computer to prevent writing over the SSD data where the file binary might still be, but I am not familiar with how APFS works and it is possible that it might have already gotten written over/shredded.
