481  Economy / Digital goods / Re: How I Make $1000/day on: September 12, 2017, 04:53:53 AM
I see people here repeatedly commenting on how ridiculous OP's claim is. *Yes,* it is ridiculous. You cannot simply sell a method to earn $1000 a day for $15, that's a given. The problem is by commenting over and over again on his thread, all you are doing is giving him more attention. This is most likely a scam, and the last thing it needs is more people clicking on it. I hope that after my post (which should not even have been necessary in the first place) we can let this thread die. The OP is not even bothering to bump it himself anymore.  Undecided

with regard to October 15th WaveCrest holdings stop Bitcoin debit cards....

What about Mastercard? its also affected? anyone knows some about that?

There some MC bitcoin debits cards....

advcash Mcard issued WaveCrest

yes, i know... so?
Recent events had it so services using WaveCrest had to restrict services to EU only due to new policies. See:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2120076.0

I can confirm this. I used to have an account with them quite a bit back when they were just starting out. They used to be much more relaxed with following international card-related policies and the American KYC regulations, which allowed me to get a card with ease. Now it is even impossible for me to access their website. They block access from IPs outside the European Union so that they don't have to deal with any legal complications that may arise from knowingly or unknowningly offering service to someone in a restricted region.

what i mean.... its not VISA. thats te point....
its Mastercard... no one name Mastercard on the list of blocked cards. The policy will be the same? someone is sure of that?

Oh, I see what you mean. No, I don't see why whether it's Visa or MasterCard would make the situation any different. Regulation is on the side of the government and their legislation, not on the side of the merchants. They are not the ones deciding to implement KYC laws that make it harder for people to do financial transactions. In fact, regulations such as that hurt card companies which in turn sell less and process less transactions as a result of the regulations imposed by the governments. That being said, I do believe some of it is necessary, albeit that's a completely different topic.

484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Accounting Software on: September 11, 2017, 05:40:25 PM
I think it is not necessary, the moment you are earning profits is only when you sell coins for fiat. You need only that final price and the bills of your mining costs.

Actually, whether and how Bitcoin is taxed (or not) depends on how you are classifying it in your accounting system. If you classify it as an asset or capital, it might not have to pay taxes until you actually convert them into a  fiat currency, at which point they would be considered capital gains. Otherwise, if you account for it as a currency, you would have to pay taxes like you would with any other currency. If you pay sales tax for items you sell in fiat, for example, you would have to do the same for a transaction done with Bitcoin if you consider it a currency for accounting purposes. There is more than one way to do it, and I would be surprised to find out that there aren't many more than the ones I described, as I am not an accountant myself but have done basic accounting in the past.
485  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: September 11, 2017, 01:58:38 AM
Is there a Virtual debit card that can be in the US?  This is very annoying to fill out information and find out you can't make virtual card in the USA.  I even google it.   They even allow you to make an account in the USA

I tried SatoshiTango, SpectroCoin, and Shakepay.

 SatoshiTango = need ID  Cool

SpectroCoin
= cool  Wink

Shakepay = min deposit $20  Huh + network fee bitpay 0.000389BTC  Undecided

I am still not fully sure about SpectroCoin. I recently posted in one of their threads about whether their card fee would stack up through different payment periods regardless of whether the card had any balance in it or not. In the website it claims that it does not and that it will only take money out of the card if the card has any balance inside it. The support team, however, said otherwise. In their thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577176.msg21641997#msg21641997) I asked about it and they said that it stacks up and is deducted according to the amount of months that it has been used, regardless of whether they are active or not. It seems to contradict my experience and I am therefore waiting on clarification on their part. They are also in the quarantine section of the OP here, but I asked about what the reason for that was and nobody seems to have answered to me, so I remain unsure about that one. Please share any experience you might have had.
486  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-07] US Lawmakers Seek Tax Exemption for Bitcoin Transactions Below $600 on: September 10, 2017, 05:06:00 AM
This is good news, I hope that it continues through without a problem.  I am thinking that 4th quarter 2017 and most of 2018 will have a lot of regulatory action and definitely more discussion within world governments.  At least the US is not talking about bans.

Yes, in USA though the government is not openly encouraging the people to buy/own/use Bitcoin there are some lawmakers who are aware of the great potentials posed by cryptocurrency and they are working some rules and regulations to define and redefine the game. I am hoping that eventually USA would partner with Japan in leading the cryptocurrency world as we should start to disconnect from China (now the source of many bad news). We still have many things to thanks America for.

I also like the fact that the US government is loyal to bitcoin and does not prohibit it.
This will enable bitcoin to develop in this country

Ehhh, I would not quite say that the government is loyal to Bitcoin. Sure, they don't prohibit it or ban it, but that is mostly because it would likely bring attention to it and because of the repercussions that passing a banning law against something as basic as a cryptocurrency would bring. In the government's eyes, Bitcoin is something they can quite literally not control like the dollar. They can't create any of it or devalue it like they can do with the dollar and therefore cannot create value if they need to. It is basically a digital version of gold in their eyes. On the bright side, once Bitcoin does become popular, it will be impossible to stop it or any sidechain that may develop and a small amount of regulation through taxation and exemptions will be what keeps them from breaking down, as you can see from this piece of news.
487  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: September 09, 2017, 06:45:13 AM
Uquid is launching an ICO. As far as I know, they're the only company with previous experience on bitcoin debit cards to launch an ICO. More here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2161156
As I know cryptopay is running ICO at current time https://ico.cryptopay.me/#about

I would not recommend taking part in these ICOs. While I have personally had a good experience with UQUID, I am not sure that participating in an ICO would be beneficial for those buying into the token, as it would probably end up with the company wrongly estimating what is needed to complete certain parts of the project as it has already happened with many other ICOs in the past. What is most likely to happen is that the funds will be misappropriated or will run out before the promised features are released to the public.
488  Economy / Services / Re: PLEX Media Server | $6/month | FULLHD TV Shows/Movies/Porn Streaming on: September 08, 2017, 04:44:10 PM
This actually sounds like a quite good idea, as long as you don't get caught doing it. It is basically a Netflix/Hulu except with much more diverse content from different platforms and only having to pay a smaller amount for all of it. I assume a decent number of these shows and movies you have gotten through alternate means such as torrenting or stream ripping (which I don't really mind). While I have no need for such service, I do need to warn you and anyone interested in using this service that if this gets much too popular, it can start attracting DMCAs which could end up in the server being forced to be taken down. As long as this is kept private, it should not really be an issue, but it is still important to keep in mind what kind of service this is and what it entails.
489  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] SPECTROCOIN.COM Bitcoin Exchange, Wallet, Debit Card and Merchant solution on: September 08, 2017, 04:31:38 PM

to SpectroCoin_support

you plane add options exchange BTC to EXMO code,
inside accounts ?

and

If I don't use the card for 3 months, the balance is $0.00

Once replenishing the balance to card, you take only this month $1 ?
or for all 3 months + new month $3 + $1 = $4 ?

The money will be deducted for all unpaid months.

Hold on, I was just lurking here and came into your thread almost on accident. I have a card with you that I did not use for a while but it also did not have any balance in it since the terms said that no money would be deducted from the card for the monthly fee if the fee was zero. Now by reading this I understand that I will be deducted for all those months at which my balance was at zero. Is this correct? If so, then why wouldn't an individual customer just get rid of that card and buy a new one, since it would already be a smaller price? I just don't quite see the sense in it unless there is something obvious that I am missing or if I am misunderstanding what you mean by money being deducted for all unpaid months. Thanks.

If I do not use the card for 10 months,
once replenished by $15, the balance will be $5?
fee $10, is it true? SpectroCoin_support, confirm pls.

Yes, that is true.

So recently I loaded $2 into my card after not having used it for somewhere around a year and I was able to completely use those funds to purchase items online without your platform having deducted anything from it even though it technically should have deducted over $10. Because of this, I am not sure of what your real policy is or what is going to be happening to my card. I have yet to be deducted any of those months' balance. In case you need to know, I did not use the card at all over that time; I had completely forgotten I even had it.

i dont see "access token" where is it?

http://www.xup.in/dl,57067413/uqqqq.PNG/

Just go to your card details where you have to enter your pin. When it shows up, you click on the details button next to your card. Afterwards, you will get a pop-up that looks like the following image:

The access token will then be shown to the right. I have cropped it out of this screenshot for obvious reasons.

thanks for your help. but that button isnt available in my login, maybe its because i m using a virtual card?

That can't be the reason why. I have always been using the virtual card, not a physical one, and I have been able to do that ever since UQUID announced that they were going to have to look for a new contract with the same or a different card issuer. If you are talking about the button then there is definitely something wrong, as I have always had that button ever since I bought my first debit card with UQUID. I feel like the real problem is that you are not quite able to find the right place to check your card details. It would be a very bizarre glitch for this to not show up for you.
492  Economy / Services / Re: Do you need Referrals? I have the ultimate guide how to get them! on: September 08, 2017, 06:01:00 AM
Even though you don't directly mention this, I am assuming this method is for sale rather than you just giving it away, correct? If so, you really should be elaborating on what this method entails and what is required from an individual before being able to execute this method. Also some sort of guarantee should be given rather than just hypotheticals. I would usually offer myself for a vouch, but given the nature of this product and how I have no real way of testing it out, I will pass on this. I would still like to know if anyone is able to make any decent money with this method by using it with different websites where referring people is required. Also, does this only work for bitcoin/crypto-related websites?

I can give out the information too, but that will cost more. I can't give guarantees, referral behavior is changing depending on the site you use, I can only give estimates based on the sites I have worked with.

Yes this method is profitable if you choose the right kind of website which I can tell if you send me your referral link. A referral should cost you no more than 10,000-20,000 satoshi, so if your referral earns you more than this in commissions, which should be easy, then you make money.

Doesnt have to be crypto only, but I have only tested it on crypto, I guess it would work with other sites too.

Are we talking about real referrals here or are we talking about botnets/spammers that could possibly get you banned in some, if not all crypto/referral sites? Also, does it have anything to do with marketing a page or setting up a website to do with indexing categories of websites with which referral links are used? I assume not considering that there is actually a price per referral, which still makes me question if these are actually bots we are talking about. These would be pretty much useless as you can already get them from other sources.

I have a friend using the Spectrocoin Bitcoin Debit Card that they seem to be offering for a cheap price withou need for ID verification and while looking at your post I realized that this one is posted under "Quarantine." What reason is there for this? I was considering SpectroCoin myself, so I would like to know what issues they have had that I could have if I do decide to get this card. The website and service look legit and it seems to be working fine right now.

This post really helps others mostly those who are still new in this forum. It teaches us new knowledge about bitcoin so that the margin of error in our tradings is lessen. Thanks to you bro well appreciated Smiley

What.
496  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 【Bitcoin Debit Card UQUID】 Best Bitcoin and Altcoins debit card | 0% Fee Deposit on: September 06, 2017, 12:07:07 PM
Seems to me our cards at UQUID will not working any more. their office message.

Quote
Dear valued customer, Due to our contract expiring with our current card issuer, Our card services will be temporarily unavailable until we can sort out a new contract or sign a new contract with a new card issuer (expected 2 to 3 weeks). In the mean time, all current cards that have been issued and loaded can still be used as normal. you can keep track and management of your card balance via : http://cardholderonline.com (your access token can find in "view card info") We do apologize for any inconvenience caused ! UQ Admin

can you guys login at https://card.mychoiceprofessional.com/wap/ and able to check your card balance there?

yes it works

it also works with wirex or any other card issued by mychoice ,( which most cryptocurrency cards are)

How are you using this site to log in? I press virtual card and it asks for my "token" - what is that?

same here, where do i see the token? its not in the card details.
Uquid support team need to give all information about this because its preventing me also from login and my card is also not working right now support is online on skype but away for long time hope they will do some better solution about this issue

Since I got no official response on the UQUID thread, I tried doing this myself. When you go to your account, click on the link that takes you to your list of cards. Once there, click on whichever card it is that you want to access or use. Click it for more details and then it might be necessary to click another button to show the full details of the card. One of the options says "Access Token". Copy the value in that field and then go to the website URL that they have posted in the notice that shows up in your account. After that, click on the Register/Activate button and create a new account by pasting in the token into the respective field. After that you should have access to all the transaction history and balance on your card.

As for the future, I hope they figure out a new contract soon, since I could not find any way currently to load the card or do much else other than check its balance or pay with it.

Edit: I just realized this *is* the UQUID thread. Still no official answer to my previous question, however.
497  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: September 06, 2017, 01:01:01 AM
Almost traders have already stored crypto and are still eager to exchange from fiat to crypto because the crypto market is on peak now.
Yes right now, anyone would love to have cryptos in their wallets than to keep fiat as everyone is expecting more profits from crypto.
An efficient way to exchange between fiat and crypto currency i have found so far is localbitcoins.com
You are very much right. I think everyone will be willing to go for crypto instead of fiat. Crypto currencies and especially Bitcoin is giving a lot of profit to its investors and its market price is increasing with higher rate as well. So everyone will be thinking of getting maximum benefit from it.

I do not actually think this is true. At least I don't think that anytime soon Bitcoin or any similar crypto-currency will be preferable to have for everyday transactions. Besides the usual obstacle of most places not accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, there is the safety issue (imagine how easy it would be to steal from people's wallets if they do not secure their phone) and the transaction fee issue (low value transactions still have to pay very high relative fees in order to be confirmed in the blockchain). I see the latter more easily solvable by a side-chain or a separate service that does not work on top of the blockchain. Imagine an Apple Pay that allows for transactions in Bitcoin value rather than through credit cards.
498  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 💳 Unlimited Private VCC 💳 + SMS Phone Numbers | ✔️ VOUCHED ✔️ on: September 06, 2017, 12:07:02 AM
As a clarification to anyone looking to buy this guide: Do note that while the VCC methods are legitimate, there is no mention of how to load them. The guide itself says that loading VCC cards is out of the scope of the guide. The main reason for you to obtain any of these VCCs would be in order to verify free trials such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or even commercial end-user sites such as Netflix or Amazon Prime. I would not recommend it if your main objective is to obtain a card that you can load using Bitcoin, as this is not covered at all. Otherwise a great guide.
499  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Dogecoin.co domain for sale on: September 05, 2017, 12:37:21 AM
You might have better luck offering this domain in the Auctions sub-forum under "Marketplace." This is often the place where bitcoin or crypto-related domains are sold since the bids are a more accurate measure of the domain's value. It has also become the place where most domain buyers look for domains to buy, since as the value goes up only those who are truly interested on using the domain (or believe they can sell it for an even bigger profit) lurk. You should also post other information related to the domain on your post to save potential buyers the clicks.
500  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Digital Ocean $50 Code - $2.50 BTC on: September 05, 2017, 12:29:08 AM
I have used DigitalOcean $50 codes before from the GitHub Education Pack as you say yours are from. The way I read your instructions, however, is that this code can be redeemed even on existing accounts. Am I correct in assuming this? If it can be redeemed on existing accounts, can it be redeemed in those accounts that have already had a promo code? All of my experience with DigitalOcean tells me that this is not the case, but ever since I left them I have not been following them for any changes to their policies.

No, you can't use this on existing accounts that have used the promo code from this promotion (Github)

Ah, I see. How about on accounts that have used a promo before but not this promo? For example, if the account used a referral code in the past but not a GitHub Education Pack code, would it work? In the past I have had it so that by sending in a support ticket explaining the situation I get the credit from the GitHub Education Pack on top of the credit from the referral code for a total of $60. Do you have any experience with this or have you heard or read about this working consistently?
