461  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: No BS, No Flufff Straight Up Simple Ponzi Game on: May 29, 2015, 03:20:21 PM
Site got shutting down due to violation of Hostinger' ToS.
Why you were using a free domain? No money by your side admin? That's not good... But I really appreciate your honesty  Cheesy
I hope you are going to refund the people left in queue, somehow  Roll Eyes
Next time purchase an offshore domain through Bitcoin for only $15 (a year btw)  Cool

It got shut down already?  That didn't last long.  Too bad I was going to invest 10 bitcoins and get rich!

Someone should make a statistical analysis of these things and find the average time of TMA (Take the Money and Run!)

Anyone want to place bet on how long until he takes the money and runs?  I give it 3 more days.  What do you all think?
463  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [+20 Payments] Send BTC & get 130% back INSTANTLY. (Min:0.001B) Payment Proof on: May 29, 2015, 03:08:17 PM
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah fairly sure this guy is running something similar to those Doubling Money scams you used to see on RuneScape...oh man lol that's brilliant, haven't seen one of those in a long time. They just return the increased piles of cash earlier and the moment someone gives them something worth taking they'll run off. Use caution, please.

So in other words it will be fine until someone gives a large donation?  OK then everyone just make very small inputs of satoshis.  Of course then it isn't really worth it.  So this is pretty much a straight up scam Tongue
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spreading BTC acceptance in Russia with… digital billboards? on: May 29, 2015, 04:37:59 AM
How many of those 28.7 million people actually use cryptocurrency.
Because many have heard about it, but how many use it?

From the Mt Gox loss data, it is clear that some 4% to 5% of the users were from Russia (with many more from the other CIS nations such as Ukraine, Belarus and Georgia). Since Russians prefer to use BTC-e, when compared to the other exchanges, I believe that some 10% to 15% of all the Bitcoin users in the world are from Russia. In absolute numbers, that represents 100,000 to 150,000 people.

10-15% is significant.  It makes sense then why the Russian government would make it illegal there if it is becoming so popular.  I think by banning it they are risking the Streisand effect big time.
465  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Market Is Stalling - BTC Users Looks Like Small Group Of Favourite Beer Fans on: May 29, 2015, 04:35:23 AM
I am a little confused by what the OP is even saying.  I think its FUD but I'm not 100% sure.  Guess I need to learn how to speak cat.  Anyway GO BITCOIN!

Isn't it a little early for Halloween boys?
467  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What Tax Do you pay when exchanging Bitcoin ? on: May 29, 2015, 04:23:52 AM
The tax laws are pretty confusing, but I believe if you purchase something with bitcoin, you are supposed to count the value of the item purchased as if you had sold bitcoin for the worth of said item.

Crap, that would be horrible.  And it would be double taxation.  At least for me since I bought my coin with money that I already paid taxes on.  Such a scheme would have a chilling effect on legit coin transactions.  Now that I think about it classifying it as property is a pretty ridiculous thing to do.  It is like being on a barter system.  When is the last time you bought a latte with shares of microsoft or a pair of shoes?  Ridiculous.
468  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠♠Professional Soccer Picks! /+84 units in May/ Balkan leagues♠♠ on: May 29, 2015, 04:18:37 AM
Just give me a chance. If you don't like it, don't read it. Simple as that.
its hard to believe a man that has negative trust and is a newbie all in all, though its just my opinion

Check all keys sellers. check this trust. This guy VOD gave it to me even I don't know who is he, he should get banned, never had any deals with him

I find VOD to be trustworthy.  In other words I trust him more than you.  Or blah blah blah if you prefer.
469  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: {SPECIAL OFFER} Bitlife.pw | Get 10% Profit instantly | Limited Offer on: May 29, 2015, 04:15:52 AM
Yeah crazy, that is what I was getting at.  I was challenging the OP to explain how such returns are possible.  Not the math of 10% but how the money is generated.  I love money but these guys never answer this question.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reminder: Lawsky promised Bitlicense by the end of May "at the latest" on: May 29, 2015, 03:55:17 AM
I hope its not regulated any time soon.  His regulation seems like a scheme for lawyers to make money.  How would they even regulate it?  Lets say I hire someone to wash my car or cook me dinner, and pay in bitcoins directly to his wallet.  How can they even track that?  Sure they can look at the blockchain and track things that way.  But imagine if millions of people are doing this.  How could they possible do it?
471  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: What Tax Do you pay when exchanging Bitcoin ? on: May 29, 2015, 03:50:36 AM
At least its capita gains which are taxed at a lower rate for many people.  I agree that you should not ask for tax advice.  It get so complicated that you are better off hiring a professional.

These rules apply even if you are buying ice cream. Make sure you have your tax professional on speed-dial on your phone so he can record every time you spend your bitcoin.

Is that how they are interpreting it?  So if I buy something with coin its taxed?  How is that capital gains?  I am not being a smartass I just want to understand the tax structure of it.

And thanks for the link Studio, I will have to read through that for sure.  Too bad there isn't a one line summary though.
472  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bernie Sanders' Dark Age Economics (Bitcoin mentioned in National Review) on: May 29, 2015, 03:21:27 AM
Sanders is a socialist Senator and running against Hillary as the true lefty alternative to her and NR is a site for neocon type republicans that do not necessarily like Rand Paul so I doubt they'd take Bitcoin serious coming from the likes of Sanders. Fine by me cause I hope they all miss out on what Bitcoin can do for the world.

Nice summary Cheesy  I hope hilary loses, actuall bush too.  I don't like these families taking over control of the government.  I refuse to believe that these are the two best candidates.  Cmon people!
473  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Launching] NEW POKER ROOM !! No Deposit $1 Bonus GOODFOLD.COM on: May 29, 2015, 03:12:56 AM
Interesting.  So it looks like the minimum bet is $.01?  That could be fun, you could play holdem all day at that price Smiley

The site looks nice, best of luck!
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Make 20x profit in 30 minutes on: May 29, 2015, 03:11:10 AM
This sounds interesting.  I didn't know you could buy options on the price of bitcoins.  I am a little fuzzy on how this stuff works, so could you please provide a detailed explanation of how this works?  Because I have to be honest it sounds like a scam.  That much money in that little time is impossible.

Also what is the lowest you can use to gamble on there  Tongue
475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are you a Poker Troll? Take this simple Quiz! on: May 28, 2015, 04:36:35 PM
1.   After felting in a tournament, do you hang around the room bad-mouthing the play of the remaining players, the very ones who crushed your soul and sent you packing?
2.   Do you regularly find yourself borrowing mom’s credit card after a particularly bad run?
3.   Do you find that many of your opponents seem to have some odd familiarity with your mother?
4.   Have your friends and opponents given you an affectionate nickname, such as ‘ass clown’ ?
5.   Do you spend hours churning freerolls on second-tier btc poker sites, extolling your phenomenal poker skills and experience?
6.   Were you directed to this quiz by your poker opponents?
7.   Do you regularly find yourself whining to poker site admin about other players?
8.   Do you feel an overwhelming need to refute, denigrate, or otherwise dismiss the results of this quiz?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to three or more of the questions above, you are a Poker Troll or, more affectionately, Ass Clown.

Now you know.

1 no
2 no
3 no
4 no
5 no
6 no
7 no
8 yes

Ha!  Awesome quiz dude lol.  I guess the results are not fair because I hardly ever play poker, but you make me want to play it more often.
476  Economy / Gambling / Re: MasterCard Helps Expand Bitcoin Gambling Market on: May 28, 2015, 04:31:10 PM
I think that sooner or later big corporations will wholeheartedly embrace bitcoins.  The reason is that coins allow for creative accounting and tax evasion beyond what is already available to big companies.  At least in theory.
477  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠♠Professional Soccer Picks! /+84 units in May/ Balkan leagues♠♠ on: May 28, 2015, 04:26:57 PM
Awesome, thanks for posting free picks.  This will be a thread to watch for sure.  How much will you charge for the service?  Would you want a % of bets or a flat fee?  If your accuracy is good then paying a fee would be well worth it.  Cheers!

I am not banned from google so I was able to find this link.  If you need more I can search again, there are plenty of resources.  You could also try Bing if you are feeling adventurous.  Stay away for Yahoo though.  They are always trying to install a toolbar on me.
479  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New Hardware June 2015? on: May 27, 2015, 09:15:23 PM
They are talks of smaller asic chips in the makings. However I do not think will be any time until  SEP, OCT until new untis are in production and even then it is going to be a losing battle as money loaded company's will no doubt swap out old tech with new and just cause a new spike and increase in diff. The days of Avlaon first coming out mass production and then antminers coming out with a much more robust product cheaper and kicking out a lot more hash even now with them with energy cost import taxes will not make RIO back unless  got free energy or really cheap energy to run them daily.

I am just curious, what do you base Sep/Oct on?  Do you know someone/something or is it just a hunch?  From what I understand no one really knows when the next batch is coming out but I keep hearing anything from June to December.  I keep looking for legit information but so far all I have found is pure speculation.
480  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-05-26] CoinDesk: Accenture: UK Government Should Regulate Bitcoin Wallets on: May 27, 2015, 09:04:29 PM
There is no need to code a wallet. It's open source and freely available. A wallet is just some math you can run even on a spreadsheet.

Thanks.  TBH I am not a coder at all and I have little idea how some things work behind the curtain.  I always appreciate it when someone takes the time to explain things.
