I thought this was just a concept, not something with time already invested..
If it is a spork, I thought you can manage the setting as a parameter. Code can exist without it being activated. That's my understanding anyway... Yeah, but if the proposal has a chance to not pass... The dev time for this "feature" shouldn't be mixed in with any other dev pay.

Thanks t-Mike..
For those who have felt censored this is a more open forum.
this is not an "OFFICIAL" thread, but it's started/run by folks who care about the coin and having real discussions that cannot take place in the official thread.

My vultr account got disabled - still not sure why, I'm looking into it. In the meantime, that put my explorer down; so if you are trying to get to https://explorebiblepay.com - my apologies. Hopefully I'll get it resolved soon. I was doing some digging through transactions on there earlier today, hope I didn't cause any trouble

I am just lost in general. I guess there is a lot that I need to look up. Thanks
This is basically saying for Rosetta/WCG you won't need to be in the "Biblepay" team.

Although I generally feel this is a good post in most respects, I want to offer the assertion that the "1% gain in boinc participation" should not necessarily be considered way too high in our estimations. I would say that in most PR campaigns that would be a true statement. However, in this case for all intents and purposes we are basically inviting users who are already paid up on the hardware and paid on the electricity to come to BIBLEPAY for only the cost of the UTXO (which is considered their asset - they get to keep it - so its not a capital expense to them). So on the grounds that they can tinker with a new novelty item (Those that were resistant to crypto) this might be the kicker that gets them started, I would argue over a year, it is possible to gain 20% of the boinc users (IE 10,000).
This campaign is sort of an experiment, to see if we can become a seed in order to become a household name later. Im looking at this as the difference between biblepays stagnation (requiring us to really think out of the box to grow), or possibly gaining a massive amount of PR and growing through this experience. This appears to me to be the Holy Grail opportunity for growth at this time for the PODC side- especially since we already do that so well. We are great cancer miners, and great at WCG.
I do not believe the long term effect of additional boinc users is a price dump! They can only dump the coins once while value buyers buy them once, at that point once the emission is emitted, our total supply is stable. Another words, I view 10,000 miners with 10,000 exchange accounts as much less volatile and more stable for our price than 1,000 miners (over the long term - 1 year out+).
Anyway, I will roll with this either way, as I said I am for no double dipping and nice team stats, but I lean towards Growth at this time and feel with our blacklist feature we can prevent double dipping and make our own stats report.
I'm more concerned with those smaller folks. It's taken me a quite a while to get to where i'm at stake-wise.. I worry flooding the market with others and "instant-on" RAC will help short-term price IF they join up. I would like to see a rate limit on the outsiders.. If your in team BBP you get 100%, other teams you get 10% of your RAC (or something similar). This is how Byteball does it (and also may help them to come over and start staking with less of an up-front investiment)

i know but if somebody is staking long time 10m + daily mined coins every day so then this account is most probably not selling and if someone have 10m and now is staking only 3m more days, then coins should be somewhere else, most probably on some exchange
There are many "whales" that could easily be dumping this volume. There are also many folks POBH mining and not staking or doing much PODC.

We're finally getting some volume... Downside is it's pushing the price lower, not the impact I was hoping C-CEX was going to give

Almost every masternode coin is exactly at the same market situation: no buy orders, no money. This is not a BBP only problem.
We must keep on working and make a difference when the tide turns.
I would say most alt coins are in similar situation.. except for the odd pump/dump like DOGE just had The massive sell orders for BBP Prevent such a thing happening here.

I think it's funny we're trying to get more miners when mining isn't even profitable now.
Fair point..

Yes, I think you should investigate it - since your a dev and we're all busy.
I have not seen good documentation on how/where the superblock contracts are executed.. I don't mind looking if I have a starting place. For the unbanked, where are the updates to the blockchain posted, is this hosted through pool.biblepay?

Anyone else miss an unbanked payment last night?
I missed it also. Rob: Any idea why this happens, it is infrequent but this is the 2nd time i'm aware of that unbanked payments were missed? No. Do you not think it's worth investigating?

And we haven't brought out our most important person yet: God. Remember God is the true answer to lifes problems and he wants us to put our burdens on him. I think we should organize a fast for this problem (when two or more are gathered in his name - miracles happen). A BiblePay fast for a recovery of our stability for the continuance of our orphan base.
I say we do the fast, and wait on the proposal until after. Show God we have faith he will make happen what he wants to, and make sure we're not reacting to the pressures of this world.

When is C-CEX coming back from vacation? I'm curious if that will help the price any..

This is just an idea, depending on how well IPFS works. I see burst coin uses proof of capacity, but they currently store empty data on the hard drives, correct? No real docs yet.
You are correct, Burst has it's own POW, the calculation is done up-front and the rest is just reading files for mining solutions. STORJ is actually a decenteralized file store (loosely, the payments/services are still through a centralized entity.)

I'm tired of these advertising/spam one-liners. you like to respond to them all lol
I just want the newbie to know there is no such document for a cryptocurrency. newbie that just happens to shill an ICO in their signature line? seems odd to me

It is important for me to know that the project that interests me is safe. What steps should we take to obtain a legal opinion that BiblePay is safe?
Please post the legal document you refer to for Bitcoin. I'm tired of these advertising/spam one-liners. you like to respond to them all lol

MIP, he is spamming to get his signature advertisement into the thread...
You can check the post history of bitcointalk accounts, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1001285;sa=showPostsClick the user's profile and click "Show the last posts of this person" at the bottom this account has probably been sold and exchanged hands, original posts were in Russian, and this account is probably paid to have that signature and paid to make X posts a day, youll find these accounts posting one line sentences into lots of ANN threads Yep... I keep reporting them as spam
