From https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5067231.msg47868086#msg47868086There is no "official" in a decentralized project. And Togo is one of BiblePay's most loyal users. Rob, don't spread FUD that it's "risky" to use this thread, when he posted all information correctly, all links go where they should, I checked. It's actually more "risky" to use your thread where you don't update it for months and a new user could go to an old link, see old information and generally get dizzy from the jumbled mess the post is. inblue: please check your attitude, I don't think it is bad to have an "official" thread (look at any other coin/project on BCT)... I do agree the main post should be maintained regularly(honestly I have not looked at it in a while), and we can have that discussion. But lets keep this thread more positive. I'm more concerned with user/information dilution. If you see old/outdated stuff can you post that here? We(community managers) will address it with Rob to get the main post updated.

No - its not OK. This is still our official forum. We could ask that the thread is taken down unless its marked non-official, or supporter. For now, I just posted there that its not official. This is why we eventually need a continuity plan, DAO based (not 501c3 based) that organizes our 'organization level' assets, to prevent one user from going rogue and making biblepay into something it wasnt intended (like Non-Christian for example). For now, I mentioned a while back I would share control (with our website keys for example) with a few trusted people to create seeds for this next org - I originally said when we reach approx $20 million market cap but I have been adjusting that early based on west coast consultants and Dev continuity requirements. The important thing to know for now is I am the founder, and I created biblepay, and I control the official web site and own the domain. I can still officially say where our official forum is until this new DAO org with assets is created. This forum is our official forum for new exposure. Forum.biblepay.org is our official forum. It is necessary to work with me as Founder until all measures of continuity are addressed. We are working on something, very very promising right now, and we really need to come together as a community. I still manage development resources, talk to devs, and create releases. You cant possibly expect to have a fractured community with a Social Media campaign that is not in alignment with what our devs are doing and our next release. A divided house will fall. Please come together and support me, and as I said on the reddit thread I promise to be nice and malleable. I apologize for coming across in a harsh way to anyone. I agree with this, we cannot spread our current limited resources more .. I am eager to see a DAO, but I don't want to lose track of what we have accomplished thus far. Where there are humans we will always have trouble... unfortunately What we need to focus on is why we are here. We have some hiccups but our mission is clear, Represent Christ!

I've been working on some back-end support tools. I'll post this one out there for now, I may move it elsewhere but so far it's been my go-to for supporting users here. https://forum.biblepay.org/tools/podcstatus.phpThis is an all-in-one checkup script, use your CPID or Rosetta payment address to find (almost) everything you want to know about your PODC Status. Includes: -Update history -Payment History -Previous Payment Status Errors highlighted -Update issues (below minumum, or missed updates) -Stake issues / estimated payout percent. -Team issues It's a bit ugly still, I would appreciate feedback, things to add/change etc.

all is OK,when all 3 explorers is broken? ill go setup BBP explorer tonight Sounds good, Togo is looking at issues on explorer.biblepay.org it keeps re-scanning blocks, I think he's down to a 10 block lag I'm working on something else, but it's not ready yet.

Hi, I see you didn't send PODC updates for 3 days - from 08 Nov till 11 Nov... that's probably reason you havent received payment. I think the next superblock it will be OK.
Thanks, may i ask where did you check that? sound little weird in the debug window you can run "exec utxoreport <cpid>" In your list it looks like you got 2 podc payments, but no updates posted in between

I prefer places that define what a "core" is...
If they count hyperthreaded cores they are essentially worthless
Otherwise a "core' of a 2.0ghz old xeon is a lot different than a core on a newer xeon gold.

I could add the sig, but this is the only thread I even look in so seems like preaching to the choir I like the idea of putting the different level sig's in the main post, do you mind marking them up togo? Should check out some of the other sections of Bitcointalk! (Can also get more chances to gain merit!) Renamed my signatures to Member and Full Member, sadly cant test the upper ranks, Im not sure of a good low rank design, curious what people come up with! Thanks! And who has time to go roaming?

Guys, Rob has been paying attention and created a poll for removing the team requirement. https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=299.0I added an option for "Yes, but add a payout penalty to Non Team BiblePay users (if this is chosen, a second poll will be made)" If you need to register, I will be watching for pending user requests.

Please work with me here, I'm not perfect by a long shot
I'm surprised, I don't know why you felt that my post was a personal attack on your character. It honestly wasn't, not by any stretch. I was suggesting what I think is good for bringing more new members to the project. Nah I didn't take it personally, just begging I think as we mature it will become more important to have an official community outside of BCT, I agree many users may come from here, but if we want to become a legitimate source, it is important to have our own "community" I would argue, that having an active community on the Official forums would show potential investors more than what goes on in this thread. It would serve a few purposes: -Activity would be an indicator of adoption -Support activities could be better and more independently managed, and search would be more meaningful. -Spreading discussions into multiple topics helps to "focus in" on a specific item, and responses can be directed. Just my thoughts, I am open to others.

inblue holy true forum.biblepay is dead ... we can delete it ... its totally unecessary new users needs this thread and why Robert mentioned what kind of thread we will be using I don't agree, it may be dead currently but come on over and start a discussion We can make this into a true community, but only if we work together.

If we want to debate the merits of blacklist/no blacklist I think the better place to do that is the "official forums" https://forum.biblepay.orgSomeone start a topic and we can talk over the pros/cons. This discussion should be moved over to the official forums, as to not muddy this thread, and will help organize the thoughts.
I disagree. This thread needs to be posted to as often as possible. Here is why: probably around 90% of people who stumbled upon BiblePay did so by finding this thread on this forum. The other 10% are masternode sites, airdrop, etc. Rob has also directed traffic to the BBP forum a lot of times and most of the time it's completely legitimate, when there is a need for some really in-depth discussion or a proposal thread etc. And I am all for that, for the BBP forum to have more posts as well, it's good for community buildup and so on. But I think we should never steer away from this thread, because this is how people find BiblePay. Think about it, someone new can't possibly go to forum.biblepay.org as their first touch with BiblePay. It's for people already in the game who know the link, have an account etc. (While I'm at it, I think accounts should not have to be manually verified by the admin, just put a recaptcha and it's fine). This thread is how we stand out from others, I follow a lot of threads and much higher market cap coins don't have nearly as much posts as we do, therefore we gain free exposure this way, and it shows how active of a community we are. So I think we should not move just about any discussion to the "invisible" forum, or else what would happen is that only the old members would be active on the BBP forum, this thread would be less active and therefore less findable, which would lead to lowering the member count, as some old members would slowly leave over time and not enough new ones would come. The BBP forum should definitely be more content rich than this thread, but it's sort of a level 2 for newcomers, to discover and dig through after they could find us in the first place. Perhaps the categories should be more open than I have said for discussion here. But "sensitive", or opinionated in-depth discussions should be taken elsewhere; which is why I suggested forum.biblepay.org .... We want, and need the right kind of exposure, not discourse and infighting as has gone on in the past. Also, if we are talking longer term direction of the coin, and you want your thoughts to be considered after the page has lapsed you could have better exposure in a directed discussion. Please work with me here, I'm not perfect by a long shot, but we're working towards a more productive community. edit: will be fixing the registration process soon... have had another project i've been working on.

I wont block-censor-delete unless they violate the community guidelines Follow-Up, Rob e-mailed me saying the current discussions on this topic violated his guidelines (primarily because they violated investor perception). My thoughts: I will reiterate This discussion should be moved over to the official forums, as to not muddy this thread, and will help organize the thoughts. Let's work to keep this thread more for informational/support/investor updates. I do appreciate all your input, I don't expect anything on this topic will change in the immediate future.
