I agree / It does look awesome ! In fact I think it is time to get into trading now ! Smooth interface ! ever heard about look&feel? this is hurting my eyes... Same opinion. I'm not at all fan of a black background. Seems unprofessional. The small animation between pages (this scroll up/down) is not necessary at all and breaks the website smoothness. An exchange must be functionnal, not bling bling. When you list the balances, the white font on a blue table on a dark background really hurt eyes. The icons on the top are too small. then trade at cryptsy you bootstrap hugging conformist i think it looks awesome.

If you have to give away coins to get votes I just don't get it.
Coin giveaway's are good for promotion but the fact that visitors to this forum would take what to me is nothing more than a cheap bribe & if this actually produces real results ??
The alt coin world is so full of fast buck freddies.
Shame on you all for this.

Honestly when he said I missed my own pre mine i almost believe him. I guess if I ever get really board I can look at the blockchain to see if it is true.

Fairbrix was shut down by Lee A long time ago. I guess it's like litecoin. Doesn't have true innovation (although litecoin was the first scrypt coin). But there's nothing that stops his coin from being really successful
Litecoin was the third scrypt coin, after Tenebrix and Fairbrix (both of which are still running, I think.) -MarkM-

Long term ?
Ok i solomined early 5 blocks & sold them for OVER 1 btc, easiest btc I ever made.
This coin was designed as a way to catch attention & has major backing behind it in btc.
Buy orders of 15+ btc , oh and it was on an exchange a few days after it launched !
Imagine that.
Let's see what happens down the road in case you are naive.
|
|
|
All this means is that Cryptsy adds coins it knows or believes it will make a profit on.
They are an exchange.
They make money on fees.
They probably don't care about long term success of cryptocurrency or alt coins that are well designed.
If they did there would be different coins added to the exchange and many that were added (some recently and some a long time ago) would not have ever been listed.
This does not make them bad guys after all they run a business.
If you launch a coin and want it on any exchanges you better be prepared to have a lot of btc ready to buy and sell your own coin. Making a coin that is unique, different, or a clone that is well designed to avoid problems other clones have had means nothing.
It means nothing to almost 99% of the membership in this forum if they cannot see an angle to enrich themselves.
If any cat coin deserves some attention it is Naanayam Coin , one out a lot longer, with a blockchain 250,000 tall.
I personally feel no coin should be added to an exchange for at least 60 days to see how it runs.
But a womans opinion or coin means ZERO in these male dominated forums.

The forum has become 'cluttered' to the point I find it difficult to sift through 'much' junk.
Giveaways certainly need their own area.
Technical or advanced items related to mining , gpu adjustments, would be a welcome addition.
Probably a separate section for new people how to solomine, set up conf file, build a rig ect...
Would a thread ONLY for pools be possible ?
Annother idea would be an option to see the ANN thread of each coin pinned in chronogical order ? As long as ALL coins alive and dead are included this can go on a wish list.
I agree some type of 'reorganization' is necessary.
Any reorganization would be welcome at this point.
(example I see an IX coin give away , i cannot get working nodes for the wallet so I know there must be a third thread other than the orig. & giveaway with the addnodes ect but I can't find it !! I don't care about missing the handout if the coin is alive and not just being stored cold, at vircurex & cryptsy I would like to have the necessary info)
I don't know the best way to do it to make everyone happy but there must be an answer.

Thank you for support ! I will add to list of pools ! We just launched our new Cinnamon Coin pool:cin.poolofpools.comCome check it out! Proportional payouts, one account that works to mine our other coins ( poolofpools.com), friendly customer service, stable servers. (p.s. to the OP: you might want to clean up your list of pools, several of them are no longer there. if you wanted to add us to the list, that'd be great!)

I think your comments below about 'right out of the playbook' are good advice. If just 10% of people who regularly visit these forums were not trying to enrich themselves and focused on how to make alternative cryptocurrency successful the world could be a much better place someday. Look I am not trying to bash just to bash but NXT seems to have a lot of similarities between solidcoin/microcash/MCxnow
Proprietary exchanges, devs/stakeholders owning the majority of coins, large coin holders being rewarded more then small coin holders. It is right out of the Realsolid play book.
All of these things are red flags that I ignored with Realsolid and MCXnow. I don't want to see anyone get scammed like I did.

The bantering on this page is sad and funny at the same time.
Some of us consider cryptocurrency a serious subject that can make the world a better place.
There is room for humor in all things but carrying on like little children only dilutes the seriousness & importance of these forums.
Also a coin with a distribution model like this AND a large premine is not what I consider a strategy for any long term success.
I support cryptocurrency when it is done right.
While I do not say I have the 'right' to define what is done right or wrong I think a coins actual long term success or failure is the barometer which is determined by people like me in the community who consider cryptocurrency a serious subject.

Sorry this whole thread is too long to read the entire thing.
Are there working nodes ?
Last few times I tried anything with this i could not get the blockchain.
Without it are people just keeping their coins on Cryptsy & Vircurex ??

Sorry for double post I just reread your post and see you tried the -g 1 trick allready. Run the check for corrupteddisk but it is probably not the fix. Your issue is a driver conflict most likely. Manually removing them is a pain in the ass & I would have to look it up how to do correctly.
BlueDragon the developer of Blake Coin gave you the best answer.
