so a coin from out of nowhere is 'asset backed' ---- the releases are getting old......
who would ever ?

i offer my vote of support for the coin and thanks to those who sent me coins for building a second wallet,
I am not part of the development team but I see so few projects launched 'fairly' I feel I can support this coin.

has anyone ever offered what Michael Corleone offered the senator in the Godfather part 2?

is it possible that someone can post specifics on how to compile this either for win or linux, ive looked through your docs and it's kind of confusing what is used for what, also is there a type of 'test net' for anyone to run tests on, a few of your pages on github have warnings listed about loss of btc for testing....ect....

if you think the alt coin scene is dying and bitcoin is the only game in town you are not really paying attention, prime coin was never intended for anything more than a short term 'wealth' creation scheme that i must admit even I was hoodwinked under i don't have time to write papers, articles or convince other people of the reality around them yoiu can follow me on twitter and pick up a few tid bits but few of my tweets are about coins i run things honestly but I don't have time to give lessons to others sorry

deadsea, are you looking to make a paper wallet just to experiment only for yourself or one that can function for everyone Well, I was hoping at least in a paper wallet....
Just an info: since some here are getting ready to buy very cheap ixc , Cex.io exchange has planned to add ixc/usd in a few weeks. Once the fiat exchange comes out from beta testing, we should see an increased volume on Cex.

I am going to let it play. I want to see what happens when the coins are mined out.
Eventually I may update iX to 9.2 , now after more study I am pretty confident I can pull it off. Aux pow and all.
Since others involved with the coin mining seem to be in no hurry to state what their plans are or to bring out other updates that were to be complete a long time ago I am in no hurry to code updates or fix known issues in the present code.
I am not in this for the money or the coins, just the lulz.

a gui vs command line wallet is something for the long term if this is going to appeal to a wider audience.
personally i think the focus on mining and research of the source for now is where I would focus efforts.

nice to hear progress ---- i will be watching & waiting
|
|
|
thanks, cool , i forked your repo ill check it out probably this weekend should have some time
|
|

where / when will updated source code be available for this change., i don't see any recent commits on github now ?
if coded to take place at a certain block with 'honesty' why not release source so people can build wallets to be ready for the change ?

Note the blockchain is actually moving quite stable now. There are other ways to correct this client but i put it aside for a week or so after the last fix i had coded up worked so well on test net and failed on main net. Oh well another learning experiene. Will just take a bit more time to code and I am busy researching 2 other important topics now, since the network is stable I am letting the nodes run, many connections so the proof of stake is carrying it. In retrospect I will admit life would be a lot easier now if a different codebase had been selected when this coin was cloned. I have learned so much since then , not everything yet , but no time machines to go back and change what was done in the past.

for btc i would say avoid all ! (unless you have a time machine)
|
|
|
just like that , ok will do, thanks

this kind of thing goes on just about every day now , no (if true, i know nothing about this)

I am starting to take a serious look at this algo but that cannot happen until the playing field is level.
If the guy who made the miner kept it a secret and just mined , like other things with other coins have gone down in the past he would have been better off but he wants a piece of everyone's action.
Developers deserve compensation for thier work , but equal to what they develop.
The rest is for the community.
I would urge those who have gpu miners to make the code open source for the good of all.
I think the fame you will get and respect and potential for future work will far outweigh your current strategy.
Please consider this.
