Dear BCT community!

Please accept our apologies for our absence on this thread, we've been hard at work rolling out some really cool new features on-site.

We've added a dedicated tab for Live Casino games and we've just launched the Cloudbet Arcade. You'll also see that we have added some new currencies to the site. You can now choose between 9 different coins.

@elonf; After taking a quick glance at your communication with our support staff, I can see that you spoke to a member of the team and they sorted it out for your over chat. It's always best to get in touch with our support team first and give chance for them to be able to present a solution.

We'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone warm wishes over this festive period. We'll see you in 2021 for a bigger and better year in so many ways!

All the best,
Team Cloudbet

I am using a Hong Kong VPN and it doesn't let me even join or sign up, is there restriction around Hong Kong? I am trying to have just free play on the crash game and by the way it has a nice UI.

Hi romelmabini,

Thank you for your interest in the Arcade!

Unfortunately, we do not accept players based in Hong Kong. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more information.

Cheers,

I have not been able to review the games very well, I have gone through some but the interface seems to me to be very slow, I do not know if something is slowing down the platform, but the games take a long time to start.

Hi LUCKYMCFLY,

I'm sorry to hear that, can you tell us more about the issues you are experiencing? It will be very helpful if you can let us know which interface you are having issues with (game, page, or function etc.)

Let us know and we will see what we can do for you!

Best,
Team Cloudbet

Thank you for your attention and your prompt response, it is especially in the Casino games, Hi-LO, Pinko, Keno, the truth is still the HI-LO one, I reloaded it and it does not happen yet to play.

Hi LUCKYMCFLY,

Thank you for your feedback. We are now looking into any potential issues with loading times - while this may be an isolated case, we want to make sure we provide the best gaming experience to all of our players!

Cheers,
Team Cloudbet

Another good feature that you have added here, I will try this one and I will give my genuine feedback with regards to this feature. I will just hoping that I will not encounter some problems in using this new feature which is crypto arcade.

You have 8 games that were added but what I am curious with is that, how can we check the fairness of the game? It is stated that it is a provably fair crypto games but it will be better if you can drop some details that we can check the fairness of every game that you have added here.

Hi kamadazje,

Thank you for your support and feedback! We published a provably fair guide with instructions to verify the fairness of all outcomes in our Crypto Arcade games. All you need is the game outcome (the SHA 512 hash) and a SHA 512 Hash calculator - like this one!

Let me briefly explain what the SHA512 hash is all about in provably fair.

Essentially, each round result is generated by four independent participants, the game operator and first three bettors of the round. At the start of each round, the operator generates a SHA256 sever seed and it is made available to the public. The client seeds are generated by the first three players in the round to place a bet. In order words, the first three players in a round to place a bet are also responsible, in part, for the result of the game (this means you can be in part responsible in generating the game outcome!). When the game starts, the server seed is combined with the client seeds to generate a SHA512 hash and the results is derived from the SHA512 hash.

Hope this helps you!

Cheers,
Team Cloudbet

A couple of advices, if I may:

-Since this is the English speaking part of the forum, I'd put the English part of the post first, and then maybe, the Spanish one.

-Don't never ever use machine translations. At first I thought you had had some typos, but no sane person would translate the [ES] (refering to the language) as [ESTÁ] (and there's plenty more strange stuff). You will be reported and the thread/post will be deleted. So please, take this post as the first kind warning; because there won't be a next one.

That being said, Good luck with the promo!

Hi there, much of the evolution of the site has been driven by community feedback and we very much appreciate yours. We have a Spanish campaign manager and we will continue to work to improve our service and offerings. Thank you!

Cheers,

Dear Bitcointalk community,

We would like to provide a bit of transparency on the status of the 2020 US Election payouts. Due to the uncertainty in the US political scene, payouts have been partial as with many other sportsbooks. We will provide another update once we receive the greenlight to make the payout. Make sure you follow this thread for further updates.

Thank you for your continued support and patience.

Best wishes,

Dear Community,

Election Day is upon us. We're grateful for everyone's contribution in the run up to the big day.

Ever wondered how the odds for the US Election are formed? The Cloudbet Blog provides insights on the many factors that bookmakers use to form their odds - and see which candidate has attracted over 80% of the action at Cloudbet.

As the Election enters its final stretch, our number crunchers provide a final update ahead of Election Day, analysing the probability as suggested by Cloudbet betting markets of victory in key swing states like Florida, North Carolina, Arizona and Pennsylvania - the battleground of choice for both candidates come Tuesday.

Best of luck,
Team Cloudbet
93  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: October 23, 2020, 02:26:19 PM
A good debate, and it's not over yet...

As President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden met for a second and final debate, here are a few thoughts post-debate:

A win for moderator Kristen Welker.
While most - including Chris Wallace - seem to agree Welker did a sterling job, there's bound to be the odd dissenter, with Bill O'Reilly popping up to note: "Ms. Welker is now talking about the minimum wage. Why? That is a state issue."

Trump: Windmills cause cancer, they kill birds.
The most comprehensive and statistically sound estimates show that bird deaths from turbine collisions are between 140,000 and 500,000 birds per year.
Source: US Fish and Wildlife Service

We couldn’t find any clear stats on the number of cancer cases caused by windmills.

Biden: Get rid of the oil industry
Polls showed pre-debate Texas, though still in the Republican camp, looking like it was becoming more competitive for the Democrats - will that change now that Biden practically admitted that he wants to get rid of the oil industry? Will Texas now move to a solid Red state? - in line with the position that Cloudbet markets are showing,

Fact check: Joe Biden did express his opposition against fracking at least once. Mentioned this in the Democratic debate on July 31, 2019:

BASH: “Thank you, Mr. Vice President. Just to clarify, would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?”

BIDEN: “No, we would -- we would work it out. We would make sure it's eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those, either -- any fossil fuel."

BIDEN: “I never said I oppose fracking.”
TRUMP: “You said it on tape.”
BIDEN: “I didn't... show the tape, put it on your website.”
TRUMP: “I will put it on.”

https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1319466667676749824

The Trump office responded with a compilation to demonstrate Biden’s opposition to fracking.

Polls follow the money
An Opinium Research/Guardian poll suggests that some 55% of in-person voters intend to vote for Trump while 42% intend to vote for Biden, but where is the money going?

UK Investor Magazine referenced Cloudbet as 85% of Bitcoin bets have been in favour of Trump victory.

Are Bitcoin bettors hedging their bets, or do they truly believe that President Trump will retain the presidency?

Share your thoughts on the final debate.

Dear Community,

Thank you for your support on this US Election thread.

Cloudbet's Electoral College map has seen some tug-of-war action in swing states as we head into the last debate and the business end of the 2020 US Presidential Election campaign.

Our latest look at the betting markets comes before Nashville’s Last Chance Saloon - read about changes we’ve seen in the winner and state market lines, in the days since both candidates held their town halls on October 15.

Hi Peep's,

Cloudbet pulled a serious fast one on me.  They were processing my cashouts and withdrawals, they knew I was a winning bettor and I was up on them.  They waited until I deposited again and they froze my account and gave me a KYC.  I am a US resident but I have been living in mexico during the virus, I sent them in my permanent residence documents bla bla, they said it proves that I was a USA resident and that they are entitled to keep the last deposits/cashout.

There's more to the story.  I had like $30k in the account at one point during that day and they had mis-graded Benoit Paire retire in 2nd set.  it gave me an extra $3k but I was puzzled but didn' quite realize it was actually a mis-grade, just figured they might have different rules for retires or something weird.  I was confused.  Anyways they froze the account and told me I didn't tell them about the mis-grade so all bets after that would be void which is bullsh**.  So they pull that one on me where they do a mis-grade and then all bets are void if I don't lose.  Then they tell me since I had a USA IP at one point and I have a residence in USA which is my more permanent residence since I don't really have utility bills here in Mexico as I am moving from place to place bla bla bla.

Long story short they just pulled all the angles in the "book" to take my $15,000 67 BCH and I need help to get it back I am trying everything.  Someone offered to start a site too, he was very kind to do that at https://cloudbetscams.com detailing the situation.

So basically they got me to deposit as a winning account and started pulling a few maneuvers to make sure I didn't leave with the money.

They are a scamming book finding all the angles to take a winning account's money.  They got me to deposit because they were cashing me out, and they knew they were going to keep my deposits.  I'm really upset for a week now since it happened to put it lightly.  To me this money is life changing, it's a lot and it would change my life, and I deposited it, didn't even win it.  The lifetime of the account i was up at cloudbet but doesn't mean i don't lose it back at other sites.  I needed that money I was on a losing streak and i fired basically the last of my coin and they kept all of it on the last cashout freezing $15,000.

Help.

I can provide more info soon but thought I'd just run down the details.

Hi all -

Firstly, please accept our apologies for the delay in response and thank you to all - especially the senior members of the community - for your patience while we collated all of the relevant facts so that we could respond extremely accurately.

A comment on @efxes's case from Cloudbet.

1. Cloudbet does not accept players from USA. If USA players attempt to create an account, they see a clear message that their jurisdiction is prohibited.

2. If a player is found to be circumventing our automated checks and connects from a prohibited jurisdiction (such as USA), their account is immediately frozen pending an investigation. In this case, the player in question knowingly and deliberately circumvented our location checks, and was discovered and confirmed to be located in USA. They provided both ID and address proof from USA and also repeatedly attempted to login from USA IP addresses.

That the player is located in the USA is without doubt, and we prohibit all players from USA. That they knowingly and deliberately circumvented our country checks is also without doubt.

3. In accordance with our T&Cs, in these situations we reserve the right to void all bets and return their account balance, up to the sum of their deposits. Furthermore, we reserve the right to confiscate funds in certain cases (such as repeat offenders). We did not confiscate any funds in this case, but instead voided all bets.

4. In this particular case, the customer has already withdrawn more than the sum of their deposits and accordingly we consider the matter closed. If the player offers their consent, we can gladly share transaction hashes of all relevant transactions.

5. Additionally, the player is sharing information and making claims in public web forums (such as this one) that they know to be untrue. For example, the player claims they have provided us with address proof outside of the USA which is untrue. The player has also made other untrue claims - such as the size of their deposits.

6. We continue to have a duty of privacy to the player, so cannot publish information we have that directly contradicts their claims without the player's explicit consent. We can, however, share this with our regulator, or an arbiter with the player's consent. Additionally, if the player would like to consent to us sharing this information with select senior members of the community, we would be happy to do so.

7. If the player wishes to continue their claim, we strongly encourage the player to take their case to either Curacao eGaming or AskGamblers.com, either of whom will act as an arbiter. We agree to be bound by any ruling they make in this case.

Fellow members - we know the player is creating a lot of noise about this case, and we treat every claim of this nature seriously, but in this situation, the player knowingly tried to circumvent our rules, was caught, has already withdrawn more than their deposit, and is providing false information in public. We ask for the community's support to dismiss these false claims by the player.

Thanks

Team Cloudbet

Hi everyone, we'd like to address the case of efxes.

Our Player Safety Team performed a standard verification check on the account after noticing several failed logins from the USA.

Our authentication log reveals that the player attempted to authenticate from the USA followed by several other European cities within minutes - this clearly goes against his claim that he is living in and playing from Mexico.

Whilst the player complied and supplied an identity document and proof of address, he failed to submit documents that support his claims of residing in Mexico. We consequently closed the account after confirming a clear breach of our terms and licensing agreement.

We ensured that the player received the total sum of their deposit back and consequently consider this case to be closed.
