Morning all, I've just updated the sheet.

If the Patriots win then almost everyone will be going through, if the Rams win I'm not going to have many entries for the next round1  Grin

Rams predictors, do you have some kind of cheeky inside knowledge, or are you taking a punt on the underdog?  Wink

Hey Ronnie,

Can you provide the player with the logs that show the evidence he was “Using VPN”
I know for a fact he is in France and traveling abroad.

Thanks

@AGD815 - No problem, I'll pass on the request to our support teams for them to contact the account owner with an update.

Also, if they paid you your money but blocked your account afterwards basically saying "you played here long enough and here is your money but don't comeback because of jurisdiction problems" that would have been fine as well. However keeping your money and than telling you not to make a scene or they will call the cops on you literally means "we do not want to be a casino anymore please let everyone know we are scamming people".

@raven7886 - As I mentioned a few times above, when we discover a player has deliberately bypassed our systems to create an account from a restricted territory then we allow them to withdraw their initial deposit before closing the account. The player above has already withdrawn much more than they have deposited at Cloudbet in total, so they are actually 'up' on us despite being caught out recently.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Hello "Ronnie",

Nice of you to finally show up!
You must have not read my post. I will repeat, just for you: I am a dual citizen currently TRAVELING THE WORLD. I provided scambet with TWO sets of Passports to prove that, and was still denied by winnings.
I have now had two news outlets reach out to me and will proceed with full stories and interviews about what has happened here, as well as doing my own press release thru my own company (look it up, you have all my information). I will further direct them to 4 people who have so far reached out to me via DM and will cover their costs to do the same.

Cheers, should be a fun 2019 for scambet, I'll make sure of it.

@youngamericandream - Apologies that my response was a little bit delayed, I wanted to be sure of the facts before responding.

I've spoken to our security teams and they have confirmed that you were unable to provide documents to prove residence in a non-restricted territory, and unless this can be provided our stance will not change despite your promise of a negative PR campaign. We can't allow players to bypass our restrictions then back down when threatened, otherwise we would have a swathe of players from the UK and US doing the same.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

If i good understand only people who won first round can bet in round 2 ?

@Grab - Yes indeed, but anyone knocked out in Round 1 should PM me to claim their free spins!

On that note I've sent out free spins to those who have already PMed me your Cloudbet nicknames. I did run into a slight problem though, in that our game provider won't let me give free spins to players from certain countries (seemingly Croatia and some Eastern European territories). For those affected i've issued a casino bonus instead, hope that's ok!

If you are still on the fence about Round 2, don't forget to check out our Superbowl Betting Guide for insights on who to pick!  Wink

Thanks,

Afternoon all,

I'm just working through this weeks entries and updating the spreadsheet.

I've only received 18 Cloudbet nicknames from the first round of knockouts so far, but I'll start sending out the free spins now.

If anyone is interested in betting on this weekend's Superbowl action, we have all the usual lines with low margins, plus over 320 specials that cover everything from total missed field goals to the coin flip! We are also offering some of the highest stakes for Superbowl crypto betting, up to 20 BTC!  Cheesy

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
646  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: January 29, 2019, 12:13:59 PM
Morning all,

@AGD815 - I've just spoken to the teams that were handling the investigation into your friend's account.

Our investigation concluded that a VPN was being used to bypass our territory restrictions, and there has been no information provided by the account owner that confirms the claims of travelling in France. Records show them logging in from a number of different countries, all within minutes of each other, which only solidifies the case for VPN usage, which is strictly prohibited in our terms and conditions.

In situations like this our policy is to allow the player to withdraw all deposited funds, and then close the account. Due to the fact that we are unable to allow players from restricted territories to place bets, the results of any bets made will be void.

The player in question has withdrawn their deposited funds, and as such our teams now consider the matter closed. If the player wishes to take things further to Ask Gamblers or our license providers then we will be happy to provide the relevant information to back up our findings, and are confident in the outcome.

I can understand that this isn't what you were hoping to hear, and I'm really sorry for the stress this has caused you as an affiliate.

@youngamericandream - We don't allow players from the US to access our services, and this information is clearly visible on our site, and on the review sites such as Ask Gamblers that we host pages on.

You claim that you didn't know about this until after KYC was requested, however you shouldn't have been able to create an account from a restricted territory without knowingly bypassing our checks.

@cruso - As mentioned above, we don't keep deposits when players have found to have bypassed our security checks to register from a restricted territory. When they are found we return the deposit and close the account.

I can understand there is an ongoing debate in the crypto gambling world about KYC, and when it's appropriate to request information. We prefer to allow players the freedom to create an account to gamble anonymously (as long as they are not from any restricted territories) because we know that privacy is important to our customers, and only request information when flags have been raised - usually as the result of suspicious activity or confirmed VPN usage.

That being said, I will pass on the posts from some of the players here regarding the need for KYC during signup to our product manager and security teams, and ask that they take this into account when reviewing our policies in the future. Obviously I can't make any promises from my position but I can see there is a need for a debate to be had around this issue.

As usual I'm happy to answer any questions I can regarding the issues above.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

I've updated the spreadsheet.

Morning all,

@AGD815 - Thanks for the additional detail, I thought the situation was resolved when the withdrawal went through so I'm catching up now.

I'm not part of the support team so unfortunately I can't check the emails they receive or access players accounts, but I'll ask them to pass on the information with an update on the issue from their end.

Now obviously I can't comment on this situation in particular until I'm up to speed, but we have had a couple of similar instances in the past:

The issue boiled down to the fact that we couldn't verify that the player was from a non-restricted territory with the identification provided. As we are not allowed to accept bets from players from restricted territories, all bets were void and we returned the initial deposit before closing the account.

I've just checked twitter and received some more information from the player in question which I'm hoping might help move things forward, so I'll update with any information I'm allowed to share ASAP.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

Morning all, and welcome to the new entrants!  Grin

Holy crap @Trofo @Ronnie... Leyton Orient was MY team all those years ago too, playing on manager (I unfortunately played the defunct FIFA Manager) too but this was way, way long ago... before 2008 anyway! I don't remember anything about them now besides their crest, and I think I only chose them for their unique name. Seriously, brings back memories!

@buwaytress - Glad to know our little club has some fans, even if it's just on manager games! Cheesy We lost out on a place in the Championship on penalties a few years ago, then went into free fall when the crazy Italian owner took over. Slowly climbing our way back up now from the National League (I hope!)

Is it for just the 90 minutes or 90 plus any potential injury time? Does the FA cup games go into extra time / penalties? A draw might be impossible if so.

@guybrushthreepwood - 90 + injury time. This is the first leg of the FA cup so it shouldn't go into extra time + penalties, if it does then I have definitely screwed up somewhere with my match research!  Tongue

@AGD815 - Thanks for getting in touch, I've responded to your message on our main Cloudbet thread in the 'Gambling' section.

@veleten - Glad to hear it, it's always nice to know the Free Spins are paying out our competition winners!  Cheesy

I've updated the spreadsheet with the new entries, hoping we can hit 100 by tomorrow but that might be a bit of a stretch at this point!

Thanks, and have a great day!

Morning all,

@AGD815 - Thanks for getting in touch, and thanks for the referral! I can't share too many details about an account that isn't yours, but I've just spoken to our support teams and your friend's documents are in the queue for verification. Our teams will be in touch with your friend directly via email as soon as the checks have been completed.

Edit: Just got an update - the withdrawal should have been processed. Apologies again for the delay!

@4x4et - You know i'm only kidding about you and GP being the same person, I know we disagree on almost everything, but you certainly have a much stronger understanding of the English language than can be seen with GP's affiliate spam  Wink

@Bet365 Account Seller - Please take your account selling spam elsewhere, thanks.

Evening all,

Just noticed this old thread pop up in my search for mentions! For future reference you can find our main Cloudbet thread here

@Ranger773 - I've checked and it seems your withdrawal has been processed. Apologies for the delay, and enjoy your winnings!

@freedomgo - Thanks for being helpful!

@romero121 - Thanks very much for the feedback! I've passed your message on to our sportsbook teams, I know they are very keen to add additional cricket lines and specials this year, so hopefully this will give them some more ammunition to push for changes further up the chain.

Have a great day!

I'd go with Cloudbet, but i'm obviously a little bit biased  Wink

We currently offer a 100 first deposit bonus of up to 5 BTC for new players!

We also have the highest limits, low minimum stakes, and some of the best margins on certain sports. We also just introduced live streaming in our sportsbook! (Check out the list of sports here), all you need is an active balance to watch the streams - no bets required!  Cheesy

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, you get to have me as your community manager! (I know, huge selling point right?!  Tongue)

Have a great day, and whoever you choose, please bet responsibly!

I would also think that accept newbie is not a great idea. It is too easy to create an alt account. If they are from Twitter, you could ask for their nick there.

@vit05 - Thanks for your input! Based on feedback from yourself and others I'll definitely include this in the rules for the next competition, I'm just not keen on changing the T&Cs for this one half way through the first round.

I've just had a look at the spreadsheet (you can view here) and the current numbers are:

Man Utd: 16
Arsenal: 9
Draw: 7

Looks like confidence in the Red Devils is high off the back of their run of good form!  Grin

Sup sportsfans!

Looks like the competition is heating up! Glad to see some familiar faces near the top of the leaderboard  Wink

It's been a while since I checked in on the thread, so I thought I'd say hi (hallo!) and let you know about a smaller predictor comp I've just launched over in games and rounds:

Cloudbet's #Cloud9 Competition

Correctly predict the result of one sporting event each week to move up the ranks and reach Cloud 9!

Entry is free and there's a 0.47 BTC prize pool split between nine rounds.

This week's event is Arsenal vs Manchester United in the English FA Cup

Head over to the Competition Thread now to make your prediction before this week's deadline at 19:00 UTC on Friday 25th January.

While I'm here, our blog team puts out a weekly article on their predictions for the biggest games that week, which might also be interesting for fans of soccer betting.

The matches covered this week include Arsenal v Man Utd, Atletico Madrid v Getafe, Milan v Napoli, and more - read up here!

That's all for now, so have a great day!

Don't have a clue about "real" Leyton Orient but it was my most successful Championship Manager job in the history. A long time ago, when I was an CM addict (and had free time) Leyton was the team that finally cured me Smiley I managed to bring them all the way to Premiership and win two consecutive Champions Leagues with them. After that the game just didn't have any challenges left.

And tomorrow I will write a 3 pages essay on "Why is Ronnie so awesome?" I propose that you make it part of the rules and demand everyone to quote parts of it whenever entering Cloudbet contests.

@Trofo - I can only dream of that kind of success for Orient, I'll just be happy if we can make it back into the football league this season! I used to love Champ Man, I'm running a Orient team on the 17/18 version of Football manager but I'm stuck in league one at the moment. I'll have to hit you up for some tips  Wink

Hmm, I can understand how confusing it would be, maybe a rule like :

if(forum.rank < newbie)
   if(twitter.followers < 1000)
      bootFromCompetition();

Because I personally think this opens up room for abuse, one person would only need about 6 accounts to make it into cloud 3 with one of them. But I know it's a hard job to filter them, soo.. your competition your rules Cheesy

@KingZee - I am just happy we have people who are providing great feedback on the rules, it makes things much easier when it comes to reviewing and planning for future competitions!  Cheesy

Your suggestion could be a good idea for future comps, perhaps something like "Requires a BCT account over 7 days old OR post your first message with a link to a valid twitter account". I'll have a think about it and get back to you!

For all those still sitting on the fence (or wanting to change their prediction before the deadline Tongue) our blog team have just published an article on the biggest games this weekend, which includes a breakdown of the Arsenal vs Man Utd game, and their pick for a winner: Check it out here.

I'm going to send round a message to forum members who have participated in our previous predictor comps this afternoon, I'm hoping to get to at least 100 entrants before the deadline!  Wink

Have a great day all!

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
660  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: January 23, 2019, 10:54:59 AM

why you and game protect you have -64 in trust ?

cause some DT members are being paid to promote them, so they give red trust to everybody revealing Cloudbet's true face

anyway that  doesn't matter to me, half of this forum are scammers (and big game scammers, not for small bucks) - set my trust to only me, i don't even see that (their opinion is worthless)

any decent forum would ban Cloudbet after at least 50 scam reports

Bitcointalk is corrupt as hell

@4x4et - Come on now, the only person that has given you red trust that's in any way related to Cloudbet would be Hhampuz, who gave you red trust after you spammed his Cloudbet bounty campaign thread. The rest of the your negative trust seems to originate from your actions as a seller, and the arguments you have had with other forum members.

@Get-Paid.com - DT = Default trust, people who are well known and trusted to review the actions of others on the forums. When they leave a trust feedback it shows at the top of a persons 'trust' page on their profile. Non DT members can also leave feedback, but it goes under the 'untrusted feedback' tab and needs to be expanded to view (basically it's given less 'weight' as a review than if it came from a DT member).

The threads @KingZee helpfully linked should help cadd more details to my rough explanation  Smiley

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
