1041  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CLOUDBET - stay away from these scammers on: August 03, 2018, 02:20:50 PM
@4x4et This has nothing to do with a desire for your personal details, we simply need to confirm your identity through KYC if you want the withdrawal processed without the rollover requirements to comply with anti AML laws. All KYC checks are handled by our teams privately, information will be held by Cloudbet and never submitted to any external parties.

We also comply with all data removal requests should you wish to take that option when after the checks and withdrawal are processed.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

@4x4et I can understand your frustration at the situation, but spamming will not help resolve anything.

I issued you a bonus doubling your deposit as a goodwill gesture when we were unable to bend the rules to allow instant withdrawal with no rollover. Ive explained that this is due to AML laws that we must comply with. The options are to either play through the rollover, or to submit the required documents for KYC verification.

If you wish to proceed with KYC please let myself or our support teams know and I'll push them to process everything as a priority so we can cash you out asap.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

@4x4et I've just sat down with our senior payment team members and unfortunately there are only two options available - either play through the rollover to enable withdrawals, or supply us with KYC documents in order to verify identity in order to process the withdrawal.

I was pushing to issue the payment without rollover or KYC, but to comply with anti-money laundering laws we have to verify ID in cases where no bets have been made.

What I have been able to do is assign you 0.0027 BTC as bonus credit into your account to bring your balance up to the original $40 required for the bet you wanted to place.

I know it's not ideal and I would have much preferred to issue the payment instantly, but unfortunately we have to remain rigid on these rules to comply with AML laws.

I'm really sorry I wasn't able to resolve this issue in a more positive manner for you, if you have any questions please let me know.

@4x4et I've responded on the scam accusation thread but thought i'd update here too.

As I thought the initial withdrawal request was rejected due to the rollover requirement. I have escalated the ticket to the heads of our payment teams as only senior employees can process manual withdrawals that bypass our usual requirements.

I'm hoping this will be solved within the next few hours, but as usual I will check back and keep pushing to ensure it's processed asap.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
1050  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CLOUDBET - stay away from these scammers on: August 03, 2018, 09:02:16 AM
Hi all,

Background:

The player deposited $20 then realised the line that they wanted to bet on was set to a $40 minimum.

(This is unusual as our minimum stakes on sportsbook lines are usually 0.001, so i'm investigating this with our sportsbook teams as a separate issue.)

The player understandably then wanted to withdraw the deposited funds, but was blocked because of the x1 rollover requirement on deposits.

I believe that in this case due to the circumstances the rollover requirement should be waived to allow a withdrawal, so I have escalated the issue to our payment teams - only senior employees are able to process manual payments that bypass our usual rules.

I'm going to continue to chase this issue for you to ensure your payment is processed as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

1051  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: August 02, 2018, 10:37:49 AM
@4x4et I've just spoken to our support teams directly to explain the situation and ask that your payment is processed as a priority as soon as possible. I'll check back in a few hours to see if this has been processed and escalate the issue if not. I don't want to see our players kept waiting for payments, especially when the reason for the withdrawal is our minimum stakes.

We do have our minimum stakes up in our T&Cs where they are stated as being 0.001, but it says in some cases the minimum might be higher.

@LTU_btc Thanks for the supporting info, I definitely want to find out the reason for the difference in minimum stakes as it should be fairly standard across the board. I'll keep a close eye on any investigations and post in the forums here with any updates I receive.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

1052  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: August 02, 2018, 10:15:00 AM
@4x4et Almost every casino and sportsbook requires a rollover and ours is one of the lowest in the industry at just x1, but since you were not able to place the bet you wanted due to the higher minimum stake I think it would be unfair to enforce it in your case, and will be pushing to waive it and process your payment immediately.

I know our minimum bets are usually much lower, which is why I want our teams to investigate and give me an explanation that I can pass on to you.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
1053  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: August 02, 2018, 09:42:30 AM
@4x4et Thanks for the info, I was asking which events you were trying to bet on so I could check the minimum stakes and have them investigated if they are too high, not to accuse you of anything. I can see the Europa League is indeed higher than the others, so I'll try and get that corrected asap.

I've recieved your Cloudbet nickname, and I'll pass it on to our support teams and ask for your payment to be processed as a priority. Like most sportsbook and casino operators there is usually a rollover requirement on deposits before withdrawal, but I'll see if there is anything we can do to waive it in this case.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet
1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - bitcoin sportsbook and casino | BEST NFL and EPL odds anywhere! on: August 02, 2018, 09:20:55 AM
@Mozefog Your account is currently under investigation, and our support teams have let me know they will contact you directly when that is concluded.

@4x4et Our minimum bets for soccer should definitely not be $40 - I've just checked myself on our Premier League lines and this wasn't the case:

If you let me know the matches you were trying to bet on I can have our teams investigate to see if there is some error with the minimum stakes on specific leagues.

Has your withdrawal been processed? If not please PM me your Cloudbet nickname and I'll investigate the delay for you.

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

@vd309 The x30 rollover only applies to casino rather than sportsbook, but thank you for pointing it out - I'll ask our team to edit the Birthday Bash T&Cs to make them more clear  Smiley

Outside of this promotion our usual rollover is just x1.

Thanks very much,

Celebrate the birthday of Bitcoin Cash with free credit at Cloudbet!

On August 1st 2018 bitcoin cash will be one year old, and Cloudbet are marking this historic event with another promotion to reward fans of the fork!

Last year Cloudbet made history by becoming the first online sportsbook and casino to honour the Bitcoin Fork, crediting players who had deposited bitcoin before the 1st August with free BCH to match their current BTC balance, and cementing our position as the true home of player-focused crypto betting.

Over the past year we have continued to support bitcoin cash, accepting the fledgling cryptocurrency for all bets across our sportsbook and casino services, and adding BCH to all of our existing welcome bonuses and promotional schemes.

With the global crypto community growing in leaps and bounds over the past year we wanted to do something a bit special to celebrate this year’s anniversary, so we are giving our bitcoin cash customers another boost:

On August 1st 2018, for 24 hours only, we’ll exclusively match any deposit of bitcoin cash, directly into your Cloudbet account!

Getting involved is easy - simply visit your Cloudbet account dashboard and click to opt in to the bonus!

You’ll be able to use the bonus bitcoin cash just as you would with any other deposit - roll the dice in our online casino, or bet big on your favourite sporting events live in-play at our extensive crypto sportsbook. Not yet signed up to Cloudbet? It takes less than 2 minutes to create an account and you’ll still receive your original deposit bonus!

Full terms and Conditions can be found here

Have a great week!
