Springfield Loaded Micro-Compact 1911 (loaded package comes with a lightweight frame, adjustable trigger, match grade barrel, and night sights)
This is a pretty nice gun. My b/f has the EMP version of it, which is basically the same thing but in 9 mike mike (I learned that from Transformers 3 Tongue)

Lol, I might have the wrong FoodSt4mp though.  Kind of strange though that this one is also former armed forces if I do have the wrong one.

Honeypot.
Wait, I'm confused.  Which scenario is correct:

1. Some unknown guy set up that American Revolution site and Facebook pretending to be Brett Backman (with an AKA of FooDSt4mP), ostensibly with incorrect info about Brett.  But then you hacked that site and created a payments@modernamericanrevolution.net (or whatever it was) and made yourself a Paypal account with it... which is kind of risky since the unknown guy who owns that site could just do a "Forgot my password" on Paypal and instantly have access to your account.

2. You (as in FooDSt4mP here the Bitcoin forums) set up that American Revolution site and Facebook using a false alias of Brett Backman (aka FooDSt4mP) to throw people off the trail of your real identity, which would explain how you have access to that Email account used for Paypal.

It's too early in the morning to wrap my head around this plot.

What is this 3% patch for phatk?
1525  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 475+ Mhash/s 5870 - Voltage mod and overclock on: July 10, 2011, 12:54:53 AM
That's the same voltage that AMD GPU Clock Tool sets the GPU to any time you move it off stock clock settings.  I just got one of those $190 HIS 5870s from NewEgg and it seems pretty stable at 1050.  Anything over that it starts getting a little shaky though.  1050 is good for around 460MH/s but I scaled it back to 1030MHz for stability.

step one, break into the ati distribution center...
Only to find it completely out of stock of 6990s Tongue

Weird, I can hit Deepbit.net ok in my browser, but none of my workers can establish a connection Sad

1529  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining rigs "after Bitcoin" on: July 09, 2011, 06:53:24 PM
I bought two 6950s (unlocked to 6970) and one 6970 lightning. When mining dies, well, eventually BC3 is coming so I don't really care. I will be happy if I can mine until November and hopefully pay off these three new GPUs that I bought.

If not, still a win-win situation for me.

 Grin
I suck at FPS games, but I'm still going to try BC3. It looks AMAZING from the Youtube previews I've seen!!!

I got a question regarding the Difficulty History section (and please forgive me if this has already been answered before).  Why do some difficulty numbers have negative numbers next to them when they're clearly higher than the preceding number?
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value At The End Of 2011? on: July 08, 2011, 10:02:18 PM
hope you're right.  wouldn't bet on it though.   i'm seeing $20  maybe september or october.  (if we're lucky )

On the bright side, that means a fairly flat difficulty rise due to natural growth, which means you'll get more mileage out of your mining hardware!
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value At The End Of 2011? on: July 08, 2011, 08:11:32 PM
Price changes are not significantly influenced by difficulty changes. However, difficulty changes are significantly influenced by price changes.

If price followed difficulty, then we could all make ourselves rich merely by agreeing to increase difficulty tomorrow by 10,000,000x. Think what the price would be!!!

Except that difficulty isn't determined by agreement.

Given the popular idea that difficulty follows price, I think that in order to estimate the BTC value at the end of the year, we must first extrapolate the difficulty at the end of the year and determine what price a Bitcoin would have to be to support it.
1534  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5830's, what mh/s are you getting? on: July 08, 2011, 03:46:18 AM
318MH/s OC'd at 1020/355MHz.  Aggression=12 Worksize=256 phatk and some other settings that I can't remember.

I can push it to 1050/355MHz and hit a solid 325-327MH/s but it sometimes locks after a few hours, which to me isn't worth the 7-9 extra MH/s.
1535  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: the most powerful mining rig ever contrived on: July 08, 2011, 03:38:01 AM
For a little less that 70k USD I have come up with a way to make a mining farm that has 15 machines and outputs a little over 1th/s. mmmmmmmmm godlike.

...and it can almost run Crysis.

So i wait for weeks, i finally am at the right place at the right time for the nowinstock notification where I get my order in for 2 6990's seconds from getting the notification. Credit card charged, packaged sent. I open the box and BOOM: 2 6970s in the box. Called newegg. Nothing they can do but say sorry and give me a refund. Sucks!
WTF, you paid close to $1500 for two 6970s???  That sux Sad
1538  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5870 in stock at newegg on: July 07, 2011, 10:58:41 PM
OMFG 3 different models of 5870 are now available!  Including a reference board!!  I LOVE the looks of a reference board!!!
1539  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5870 in stock at newegg on: July 07, 2011, 10:47:31 PM
I'm not sure if this is a really good value though.  You can get similar hashing performance (and better gaming performance) from a 6950 for $3 more and you can buy those all day long.  I think the 5870 still edges it out for power draw though.
1540  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 5870 in stock at newegg on: July 07, 2011, 10:20:54 PM
Good find!  Already bought a diff version yday!
