1761  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is the support zone ? on: April 13, 2023, 07:46:42 PM
Support is an explanation of the point to which when the price returns, it rests for some time and then rises again. Think of it as a safe house for the price, and it is unlikely to fall below it.

So, when the price reaches the support area, the possibility that the price will decrease is small, and it is the period of the beginning of the rise again.
As for the reason for naming it as a region, which is because it is impossible to determine the price with a specific number, but rather the price range of this range, the price is the support area.

The current support range is from 26k to 28k.

1762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can keep me more active here? on: April 13, 2023, 07:35:35 PM
You almost have all the keys to being an important member here, and all you lack is motivation.
What are the things that motivate you?
This incentive differs from one person to another. Some have their motivation:

  • Funds: You can create a topic in services board or join signature campaigns.
  • Reputation: Give free tips and participate in free campaigns.
  • Friends: There are a lot of friendships that can be made here.
  • Other incentives: Unfortunately, the forum tends to hide identity, as other incentives such as acquaintance, dating and animation do not exist here.

Find your motivation and you will stay.

1763  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where next for Bitcoin: $20K or $50K? on: April 12, 2023, 02:44:45 PM
How long do we need to confirm one of these two directions, closing Sunday, a week or a month?
I see that the lack of continuity of the increase, meaning that we did not witness 32k, indicates the end of the bullish trend, and therefore either maintaining the current level or returning to the nearest long-term resistance level, which is 26k, and thus confirming the bear market for the next 6 months, so that we will remain in the range between 25k to 32k.
1764  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: (announced) WATERPROOF CRYPTO WALLET CASE for Ledger Nano and Trezor Hardware St on: April 12, 2023, 02:16:00 PM
Ugly???.. As long as it serves it purpose I'm good with it and moreover it's not something you carry around to impress someone. It's just a protective covering for the ledger.
Not only is it ugly, but it also attracts attention. It is true that you do not want to impress others with it, but make it more difficult to notice, especially to thieves or even your friends who may easily recognize it when they come to your house.
Add to this the increase in size, which makes it difficult to hide it, and it is not possible to put more than one hardware wallet inside it.
1765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does loss of BTC affects total amount of BTC in total supply. on: April 11, 2023, 03:31:54 PM
This question was asked in the early days, and fortunately satoshi himself answered it:

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more.  Think of it as a donation to everyone.

So, the lost coins are a donation that makes the rest of the coins more valuable, just as a single bitcoin can be divided into 100,000,000 SAT, and therefore there is enough satoshi for every human being in the universe.
1766  Economy / Economics / Re: Advises 'Get Rid of Your US Dollars Now (Economist Peter Schiff) on: April 11, 2023, 03:15:17 PM
Since when do we consider the words of Peter Schiff as words from a sane person, let alone take them as a reference for making economic decisions such as stopping accepting the dollar.

This guy is a Bitcoin hater and a gold enthusiast (because he has gold related investments) and yet the gold hasn't stagnated ever since he called people to buy gold.

Don't take anything this man says seriously.

It is true that countries are starting to get rid of the dollar, but even the worst pessimists do not expect the dollar to collapse within 5 years.
1767  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [LIST] Exchanges which let you create multiple deposit addresses on: April 11, 2023, 02:57:17 PM
This list really needs to be updated and most of the information is no longer valid, to my knowledge I have corrected this information:

Sr.No. Exchange - Allows the creation of more than 1 address?
6. OkexNo - One address per user  Changed to OKX and allows you to generate up to 10 new addresses for each account.
7. FTXNo - One address per user   scam
12. LocalBitcoinsYes - Can generate new addresses shut down
13. PaxfulYes - Can generate new addresses shut down

I did not use others, but I think that there have been changes.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how do miner picks transactions for candidate block on: April 11, 2023, 02:45:50 PM
can they pick any valid transactions with significantly low fee? if they can, how all these things work? is it manually adding a list of transactions? or automatically?

If the transaction is valid, they can do it manually, even if it does not follow the standard, but as mentioned above, the fees are the ones that govern and can be paid privately away from the transaction fees.

I remember a similar case: ~1 BTC Bounty

Quote
Poolin.com has mined the transaction: https://explorer.poolin.com/tx/fd02fd81790a05ea2ab07bbcf5cdcb2cfd21f3f5676a5c0e8f7f5ca2ac75e694

if anyone else has any issues with a transaction please reach out to me for help.

For those who want details.

Quote
that is really messed up! every single documentation that i have ever seen has always said "it must not be compressed or it will not be mined". now i went back and checked the out, they are all are ambiguous about it!
take BIP143 for example:
https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0143.mediawiki#restrictions-on-public-key-type
Quote
As a default policy, only compressed public keys are accepted in P2WPKH and P2WSH. Each public key passed to a sigop inside version 0 witness program must be a compressed key: the first byte MUST be either 0x02 or 0x03, and the size MUST be 33 bytes. Transactions that break this rule will not be relayed or mined by default.
1769  Other / Meta / Re: Making new messages more obvious (SMF patch) on: April 11, 2023, 02:09:08 PM
Sounds like a nice addition, is there to make that "white dot" Blinking like this?

In the sense that the color changes from white to red and white, and this will be easier to attract the attention of the eye.

off-topic question? Is it possible to send private messages using third-party applications without the need to do it manually by accessing the forum?
I know you can post with Python code, but does it apply to messages?

1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking the biggest limit since match price push on: April 11, 2023, 05:03:12 AM
Am I the only one who believes that breaking the barrier is nothing but temporary speculation, and we will return to 28,000 levels within the next 48 hours?
There does not seem to be enough momentum to make the price move far above that level, as evidenced by the fact that we did not break $31,000 quickly, although there is no support level here.

The positive news is that the psychological barrier has been broken, even if the price rebounded, so 30K will not be a problem and will be the level of resistance for the coming years.

We get CPI number in a few days. which determines what fed will do.
Is there any correlation between CPI and Bitcoin? Or only because influence the FED decisions?
1772  Economy / Exchanges / Re: many CEXs faces strongest regulatory pressure, will you use CEXs/CEXs/TEXs? on: April 11, 2023, 04:23:25 AM
Not add any friends to recover your private key, similar to current decentralized wallets. You must securely store your private key, as no one can help you recover it if lost.
Use account recovery (ERC-4337) by selecting trusted contacts during account creation, who participate in the recovery process

Your idea will be more convincing to us if you are talking about a deposit to a multi-signature wallet address. You choose the trusted parties so that you have the option that these parties be:
  • 2-of-3
  • 3-of-5
  • 3-of-7
  • 5-of-7
  • 4-of-9
  • 5-of-9

More or less thus giving a dynamic to the user, the only problem is ensuring how securely those private keys will be generated without a third party sharing them.

As for the idea of smart contracts and with all the bad reputation of bridges, I advise you to stay away from them, although I do not see how the privacy of users will be enhanced through them.

https://www.village-justice.com/articles/interdiction-chatgpt-italie,45811.html

1776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for feedback | I’ve launched CryptoYou, the cross-chain hybrid exchange on: April 10, 2023, 02:33:34 PM
Based on the definition provided here: the platform can confiscate, stop or freeze clients’ money if it violates European Union legislation? correct?
If so, the platform is centralized and not a hybrid, as you control who uses the platform and who does not.
How will you deal if the source of the currencies comes, for example, from mixing or gambling services? Will you allow that?

Quote
The CryptoYou service is only available to residents of the European Union and complies with European KYC and AML laws.

Does the user need to verify identity when using the platform, or will you ask him to do so if you suspect something? And why would he present it to you instead of using a centralized platform?
1777  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: (announced) WATERPROOF CRYPTO WALLET CASE for Ledger Nano and Trezor Hardware St on: April 10, 2023, 02:16:18 PM
The design looks ugly, and its strange shape and company logo are enough to confuse thieves. The device is very small, so why does it need a case of this size?
I did a quick search on dimensions and found:

While the dimensions of Trezor wallet is: Product Dimensions 4 x 3 x 1 cm; 12 grams
Therefore, two devices cannot be placed together, and the choice is bad for one device because of the lack of optimal use of space.

What would make a hacker try to hack centralized networks such as BSC? I think that money will be frozen and returned to the platform once the hack is confirmed?
The frequency of these attacks proves that all the mainframe bridges are either poorly programmed, or that the developers themselves are exploiting these vulnerabilities.

When the update has become famous and everyone is known about it, and it is not a fundamental update, I do not think that the price will increase sharply, meaning that it is a serious opportunity, but it is not a golden one that will make a difference in your investment portfolio, and for comparison, we can return to the data of ETH hardfork, according to which the transfer of Ethereum from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake.

1780  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession Highly Likely on: April 10, 2023, 11:33:03 AM

OPEC's recent oil production cuts are a real concern for the world economy. They do not seem to care about the crisis or recession of the world economy, what they want is to keep the oil price high to make a profit. In the long run, this will most likely cause inflation to rise again, and we will fall into an inevitable recession.

We cannot blame OPEC+ for the cuts in production because, however, oil prices did not increase significantly. The dollar is tied to the value of oil, and a drop in oil below $60 a barrel will harm the world more than an increase in prices.

If the price of oil drops sharply, it will not contribute to moving the economic wheel because what is happening now in terms of inflation is not directly related to oil prices, but rather the Federal Reserve’s policy of raising interest rates has harmed countries a lot, not to mention the problems from the year 2020.

Low prices mean a lack of future investments, which means that once the factories return to work with all their capacity, there will not be enough supply, and therefore the price of a barrel will easily rise to more than $150.
