1621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still do business with them? on: May 11, 2023, 03:58:59 AM
Bittrex informed her customers to withdraw their funds before April 30th and even those who didn't would still be able to get their funds back in full.

April 30 of which year this year or next year?
For the platform to go bankrupt means to file for bankruptcy according to Chapter 11 of the US Companies Law https://www.uscourts.gov/services-forms/bankruptcy/bankruptcy-basics/chapter-11-bankruptcy-basics , something that did not happen in Bittrex case.

Bittrex US (not Bittrex Global)  is the one who stopped working, in which SEC does a lot of work to dry up crypto exchanges and therefore closing the .US is logical.

we ignore COVID-19, the cost of living, price fluctuations, inflation rates and the difficulty in obtaining loans effect.
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New trend PEPE ? Seems many projects Launching with PEPE Names. on: May 10, 2023, 02:02:48 PM
For me, it is nothing more than a pumping/dumping coin and a new trend to steal the money of beginners who invest in something new for nothing but that the name is new and everyone is talking about it.

I am almost certain that the percentage of investment in a currency will increase if it changes its name with every trend and pays a lot in promotional campaigns. No one thinks about the code, future development, or the real interest.

The names are different, the goal is the same. MEME PEPE KEKE ZEZE ....

I suffer from the same problem in my phone, and the reason for this is that modern phones try to preserve the battery for the longest time, and therefore most of the active applications are closed periodically due to power restrictions.
Go to your device settings and exclude the application from the "Power Saving" option, or whatever option appears to you.

There is another option, which is to choose to receive notifications by e-mail. Almost the e-mail application comes by default, with the exception of energy saving restrictions, and its notifications work well.
1624  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is buying merit parmited on: May 10, 2023, 01:07:43 PM
Let's say you buy merits, you need a lot of it to rank-up, signature campaigns are looking for a minimum effort in the quality of posts to get paid, if you don't make that effort, buying merit points won't change anything.

It is a scam because other users get tired of creating high-quality posts while you get for merits for free are therefore merit is not a commodity to be bought or sold.

You will not be banned for buying/selling merits but may get negative trust and many will ignore your posts.

Scam. They delay payments and are predatory, Many other Crypto casninos let you withdraw and perform KYC quickly. I never even successfully ever withdrew any money from them

Sorry for your loss, but try to give us more data about them, and with a little pressure, you may be able to recover part of your money from these scammers. What is the name of the account in the forum that offered them?
1626  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Chipmixer, blender.io fake mixer is still active on the internet. Avoid google🔎 on: May 10, 2023, 12:51:11 AM
Is reporting to Google sufficient to solve this problem, or is communication with the judicial authorities that confiscated the site the fastest? Those scammers are stupid because they are trying to scam people with services that have suspicions of money laundering, and therefore lawsuits may move against them, including phishing links.

I advise anyone to stay away from these links because they may be managed in one way or another by the government.

You are speaking in general, which may contain a significant lack of specific ability or previous experience.
Ask the skills that you can provide in detail such as what files or data you are talking about, and what kind of modifications you can do.
Adding your portfolio with the recent things you did would be amazing.

If you accept payment in bitcoins, here is suitable, otherwise move your topic to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0 board.
Make all things public, you will find some people do not prefer to communicate on Telegram until after the start of the deal here.
1628  Economy / Speculation / Re: $35,000-$37,000 for Bitcoin in 2023 as my peaking barrier, is breakout feasible? on: May 10, 2023, 12:22:05 AM
The instinct works perfectly when trading is long-term, but when the particular month, date, or moment of buying or selling comes, then fear and greed will rule. I remember that I did not think that the price would exceed $50,000, but when the price exceeded that amount, instead of selling, greed began to increase in me, and in the end I sold at a price of $37,000.

Place orders early and do not open the platform when the price increases sharply or decreases sharply, because you will regret these decisions.

Do you guys believe it would surpass $35k-37k this year?

All options are available, but the price is still $37,000 in the third and fourth quarters of this year.
Bitcoin on exchanges hits lowest ratio so 6 month later and price will bump.
1629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: tips for profitable investment in bitcoin on: May 06, 2023, 02:08:59 AM
Investing is an activity that you deal with from experiences and investment decisions more than reading books. It is like riding a bicycle. You can read hundreds of books, but a quarter of an hour of learning, error and repetition will teach you a lot.
All you need is not to invest more than you can lose, to learn before you start investing, to stop greed, to set a clear plan for your investment, and to reduce your ambitions for quick profit.
1630  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Mississippi & Missouri lawmakers propose laws protecting bitcoin mining on: May 06, 2023, 02:03:15 AM
Montana Senate Passes Bill Protecting Crypto Miners

The Montana State Senate passed a bill on Thursday protecting crypto miners from a range of possible actions against the industry.

http://laws.leg.mt.gov/legprd/LAW0210W$BSIV.ActionQuery?P_BILL_NO1=0178&P_BLTP_BILL_TYP_CD=SB&Z_ACTION=Find&P_SESS=20231

Quote
The legislation also takes power from local governments, preventing them from moving against at-home mining or retroactively using zoning laws to shut down active operations. "These protections, along with clarifying tax law in relation to digital assets when used as payment, will plant a flag in Montana that sends a message that we are open to embracing the digital asset mining industry," Montana Senator Daniel Zolnikov (R) told CoinDesk.

The new law might possibly upend a 2020 Missoula County zoning ordinance that required all bitcoin miners to buy or build renewable energy assets equivalent to their energy consumption.

"Missoula County has no position on this bill, and we're not concerned it will affect our regulations," said a representative for the county.

almost. We now have four states that have approved bitcoin mining, and one state has banned it.

1631  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: crypto stuck on gmail on: May 06, 2023, 01:53:38 AM
my privatekey logins to crypto is encrypted with a pgp message on my gmail,I forgot the password and was retarded enough to put some random email / phone number as recovery and ended up being locked out of the account for years now im wondering if anyone serious can point my in the right direction? Already tried the online form 100s of times but is there any real help I can get from google without sending upfront payments to random scammers.
As long as the device on which you created the account and the user IP you know, there is a chance, albeit small, of recovering your account.
Stop sending more messages to Google and try to remember more information, if this was years ago, your chance will be less.

I do not think that what you are looking for is legal, as hacking your private email is considered an illegal act, and therefore you need to search in the dark internet sites, and you will not find a reliable account that enables you to do so, so do not enjoy the scammers and waste your money.
1632  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing and trading in crypto: can make you or mar you. on: May 06, 2023, 01:19:50 AM
The problem does not lie here with the asset you invest in, but with emotional investment based on the experiences of friends or from the Internet and dreams of quick profit. I remember at the beginning of the 2000s there was a fever in investing in stocks, everyone wanted to buy stocks and the bubble burst, then real estate and now cryptocurrencies.

These people will get out of the market and cryptocurrencies will continue to grow, just as it happened with stocks and real estate and this will happen again with all investment assets.

Understanding this scheme is what will determine whether you will return home by bus or in a luxury car.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 2 questions that bother me on: May 06, 2023, 01:03:39 AM
1/ Who determines the price of a token at launch?
For example, the SUI token cost a few cents in pre-sale and was listed at almost $1.50 on the Binance listing

The currency team estimates the listing price, which is often low. After the listing is completed, the people who got the price before listing will try to sell their currencies here. The required liquidity will determine the price of token. If there is more demand than supply, the price will increase and vice versa.

manipulation can happen here where the currency team or anyone, with amounts such as a million dollars, can pump the price of the currency and thus create a false demand that brings more people out of greed, and suddenly you lose all your money.

2/ In your experience, is it a good idea to buy a chip the second it is listed for a profit?
It's the worst time for you to buy because it's when the whales move in to make their greedy instincts go up and you lose a lot.

If you got that token for free or because you performed a service such as participating in the bounty, then sell half of it after listing and the second half after 3 days, otherwise do not invest.

1634  Economy / Reputation / Re: What's your own 'Bitcoin and Me story' on: May 06, 2023, 12:47:03 AM
Do we all need a Bitcoin and Me story? Hal Finney was an exceptional figure like Steve Hawking, he believed in the value of Bitcoin, and tried to develop it from the first days where the rich or material motives were not the main driver.

Most of us are ordinary people, we lived ordinary lives, and we only got to know Bitcoin when it became valuable after 2013, so the percentage of those who deserve to write a Bitcoin and Me story is less than 0.05% of the total active members currently.
1635  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A nob in trading needs help on: May 06, 2023, 12:34:08 AM
You asked a big and basic question and you will find many answers, but Google and YouTube will teach you a lot if you search well.
So reading books like Mastering Bitcoin, Rich Man and Poor Man, Richest Man in Babylon, Think and Get Rich or watching audio clips about them will give you basic knowledge.
Then you can start learning the basics of technical analysis, including how to trade.
All of this requires that you have a job and extra cash.
1636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't give you instant 100 percent profits on: May 05, 2023, 02:05:57 AM
If you want to get a quick profit, be prepared to bear a quick loss, and this matter is not related to bitcoin, but to any investment that you think will make you rich overnight.

Wealth is linked to how you think, if you do not change your old ideas and your consumer relationship with money, you will most likely lose those currencies after a short period, no matter how much money you will collect. Even if you have a bitcoin, you will lose it fast. Evidence for what I am trying to say is that most of the people who won the lottery lost it within 5 years.

1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FED raises fund rate and Signal possible paused on: May 05, 2023, 01:40:06 AM
The shock was when the Federal Reserve decided to start raising interest rates and stop previous policies, and from that date all interest-raising decisions have a limited or even positive impact on the markets because they are under expectations.
Therefore, if the increase was not by 25 basis points and it was at a greater rate, we would have seen a correction and vice versa if there was no increase or stability of the current interest as it is.
1638  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] SUI's Fake Airdrop Website.... on: May 05, 2023, 01:02:14 AM
Thank you for sharing this warning, it seems that the scammer is in a hurry to catch up with the trend, as the site was created on 2/5.
I hope that there will be a feature in the browser that shows you the date of creation and update of the site, which will be useful in identifying phishing sites and giving notices early.
1639  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to use Bull Flag Chart Pattern? on: May 05, 2023, 12:45:10 AM
This strategy is a little old and is only valid if used with Fibonacci correction.

The problem also lies in identifying a strong trend, which is the point that will be set with Fibonacci correction and the stop loss order to determine whether it is appropriate to close the deal and reduce the loss or continue in the upward trend.

During the last year, I noticed that Bitcoin suddenly changed the upward trend, and then it is not followed by correction periods, which gives a false signal that there is a nearby green candle, perhaps the reason is that we are in a long-term downward curve.
1640  Other / Meta / Re: Can one use UI to correct grammatical errors? on: May 05, 2023, 12:18:39 AM
it is AI not UI Smiley, I was wonder what you are trying to say..

Look, because there is no rule, so as long as the text is from your ideas, there is no objection to using any tool to make it better.
If you ask me then, it is better to write and try to learn and develop your English skills rather than relying on third-party applications. A little mistake is always acceptable. If Those AI applications and in cooperation with each other they will be able to analyze your life and relying on it will not be a problem.
