1541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Eth flip BTC and why this is good? on: November 08, 2021, 06:15:06 PM
I saw someone claiming that if ETH will do 2x, it can flip the BTC. Well yes, if you look at CMC, BTC market cap seems to be bigger than ETH market cap by 2.17 times. And of course BTC will probably get more and more expensive if the overall crypto market will be rising.

However, I've just noticed that for the last 7 days, BTC if up 1.14% whereas ETH is up 9.27%. So ETH seems to be rising faster.

Now the question is, why in which way, this is good for ETH holders? I don't seem to understand this, why people getting excited by the chance that ETH can flip BTC?

If Bitcoin stood still, Ethereum might have a chance to jump over in the coming months. So theoretically there is such a possibility. However, there is probably no doubt that if the bull run starts, the price of Bitcoin will go up first, and after price of Ethereum. So ETH will just chase BTC.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking To Invest $50-$100 In New Projects Any Ideas? on: November 08, 2021, 05:19:43 PM
Hello everyone and hope everyone is doing well. I am currently looking to invest in some new projects in the sum of 50-100 dollars. If you have any new or exciting projects you would like to share with us here, please post and let us know. Until next time take care.

After Mark Zuckerberg's last statement about cryptocurrencies, all Virtual Reality projects started skyrocketing. I think that after DeFi and NFT it may be another trend on the market, so I think it would be good to look for something among projects such as OVR.

There are renewal charges and having an license is costly task and there are lot of other implications that needs to be fulfilled but most of the casino first of all go for license as players search for the details before joining any casino like us.So at this time Curacao license is the most famous and somewhat cheap at this time so you will find most of the casino operating under the same license. But after that they can turn out to be scam also so make sure you play over legit casinos only.

A license gives more credibility to the site but it is absolutely no guarantee that they will not scam you. It also works in the other way: an unlicensed casino can still have a very good reputation, but it takes some time to build reputation. I am always carefull with newly launched casinos even when they have a license.
Take advantage of the credibility and authenticity that licensing offers. There are certain standards operators must meet in order to run a casino gambling site. Since the gambling industry is highly regulated, licenses are required. As there are the majority of online casinos, I always choose to play at one of those that have a reputation to reduce the risk.

As for the Curacao license, as far as I know you don't have to comply with any regulations. There are specialized companies that do everything for you there (they set up a company, rent an office, servers and apply for a license), you don't even have to move from your chair. So the only thing that really gives a license is that someone has the money to buy it. If you think that this somehow makes the casino more credible, then that's your matter.
1544  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: November 08, 2021, 02:46:32 PM
To be honest, I believe for a huge casino platform such as stake.com, they wouldn't perform KYC requirements to its users who play at hundreds of dollar range for each session.

Some users reported that there is the personal information needed before anything else. It means slowly but surely, we can now expect that KYC will be implemented at most casinos not just on Stake.
Perhaps those users are high rollers? Thats why the casino asked for some personal information to those users in the first place. As a small gambler like me who play with tens of dollar as starting balances, I have never faced such kind of thing.

Unfortunately, governments in many countries are pushing hard to regulate cryptocurrency casinos. One of the requirements is absolute KYC verification of all users. If the casino wants to operate legally in a given country, it will have to adapt or move to a country where such regulations do not yet exist.

We can expect that soon most cryptocurrency casinos will simply have to require KYC verification from all users.
1545  Economy / Services / Re: Which bank in Europe accept cryptocurrency and want to work with crypto on: November 08, 2021, 02:13:01 PM
Hello everybody,
I am working on a project hat involves cryptocurrency. I am willing to ask if you are aware the banks in which country are willing to open an IBAN account to a company connected with crypto. I am asking about countries in Europe.
Thank you
Best Regards

I think this list can help you find out more about the crypto friendly banks market in Europe:

I'm not sure how up-to-date this list is, but I think it's best to verify it yourself.
1546  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do spectators now know better? on: November 08, 2021, 01:51:28 PM
I understand that getting a professional knowledge in coaching introduces an individual to aspects of a sport not known by all, but oftentimes i have witnessed individuals (spectators) of a sport, due to extreme love for a sport become masters of a sport so much that it seems almost like they now know the sport better than some coaches.

Whenever a game is going on say football, you always hear such individuals question the coach's line up and tactics, you hear questions like -

-Why is he (the coach)  not playing player xyz?
-why did he (the coach) use player xyz instead of players zyx?
-why is he (that is the coach) using this formation instead the other one? and so on.

-Is there a possibility that spectators of a sport like you and i with no professional training can develop a better understanding of a sport than some professional coaches of some teams?

People watching football and loving their team have a lot of knowledge about the players and possibly some inside information about their predispositions. Unfortunately, such people will never be able to become professional coaches.
A professional coach must not only have general knowledge, but also a great deal of knowledge of tactics, organization, psychology, even anatomy and much more..

And stop trying to push us publicly here – it was an additional reason we were rushing our checks before to try and ensure a good experience -> there's nothing for you to exploit here anymore.

Unfortunately, there are many players who dishonestly try to bypass the casino system.
I'm glad you found the bug and fixed it, although it's surprising you haven't seen it for half a year.

I noticed your Pirates Scratch game Smiley About 10 years ago I managed to hit the jackpot on a slot with this design. I will try to repeat it in your casino! Wink

I think when a cryptocurrency casino is created by someone outside the crypto industry, that person doesn't realize the potential of Bitcointalk. Certainly, other forms of marketing are also good and bring results. However, probably all of us who have been here for a long time know that good marketing on Bitcointalk is enough to be successful in the cryptocurrency market. Hopefully the Riobet casino owner will understand it as well.

I think mu_enrico explained well in terms of blacklisted and banned countries. Some countries are banned due to legal restrictions while other countries are only restricted by some game providers. Using a VPN may be a way to circumvent these limitations. However, it is always a good idea to read the Terms and Conditions carefully and act accordingly.

True, that explains a lot, but it is still unclear why users from countries that are blacklisted by game providers (Indonesia for example) can not play with fiat on other games..(?) I think it should be explained more clearly so that no one has any doubts.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: JP Morgan believes Bitcoin is Overpriced on: November 05, 2021, 10:23:08 PM
JP Morgan analysts say bitcoin's most probable price outcome is to never hit 100k as it is terribly overpriced.  JPMorgan Chase & Co. strategists recently released a report where they mention that Bitcoins's price is overpriced and for it to hit the 100k mark it would need to have volatility decreased. They point out that Bitcoin is now being traded above 60k but the true price for Bitcoin should be $35k.

What do you guys think about this?

Grin  It's a never ending story with JP Morgan.. They always sell fake news. I have been observing their predictions for several years. Actually, since they first said something about Bitcoin, it was obviously negative predictions, just like it is now. In 90% of them they are opposite to what happens next.
If JP Morgan says Bitcoin will never reach $100k, at this point I am 100% sure that $100k will be achieved and it will happen quite soon.

Site is down now.....strange, i receive 1.2 mbtc yesterday and now game over?

Do they have social media pages such as twitter or facebook?
I just tried to check it but it is still down "403 Forbidden", at least you have received your withdrawal although there are still some people waiting for their withdrawal.
Lets see and wait for the next hours or days, if the site is not coming back online, it would be a bad sign.

Before I had "403" error, but now it show me "500" error. I'm not sure what the difference is between this two errors, but it certainly doesn't look good.

From social media channels I only found Twitter and it's almost empty .. the only tweet is from April:

https://twitter.com/betop_gg

There is only one promotional video on YouTube that was also posted a few months ago:

Unfortunately no one is participating for the 1st week, I'm sure it is due to the blocked countries and most members here who like to participate in such similar contest are blocked.
The 2nd week contest is up and running, I guess the result will be the same as the 1st week.
Allslotclub really need to change the terms about the blocked countries, otherwise the promotion they have in this forum wont work.

Hi panjul07,

Thank you for this feedback. We are looking into working on this  Smiley

I hope that you will be able to improve the situation with restrictions and that the list of allowed countries will increase.

In the meantime, I would like to ask if you tolerate the use of VPN in case of problems with access from some country, or such a user will be banned?

Did you really get that transfer yesterday?
Can you tell when you requested that withdrawal?

In my opinion, it doesn't matter if the cryptocurrency bookmaker have license or not, but it seems that in this case no license = greater risk.

Hopefully these are just temporary technical problems and everyone will get their withdrawals.

There seems to be something I do not understand from these statements. In one, there is information that people from black listed countries can play using crypto, and in the other statement is info, that they cannot register at all.
What does it mean in your ToS that a country is black listed?

Where did you see the information that people from blacklisted countries can play using crypto? Blacklisted means that players from that entity or country are prohibited from using their services, as the law requires. Like all people, the companies that manage the online gambling must abide by local laws and regulations.

From this statement, I understood that users from black listed countries such as Indonesia cannot play for fiat, but can play for crypto:

btw, the new design UI is more interesting than the classic design.

I read the terms and conditions and it says my country "Indonesia" is on the blacklist territories, will those who register from countries that are in the blacklist territories cannot WD or DEPO?

Hello, we can not process fiat currencies payments from blacklisted countries, however we accept crypto players from Indonesia  Smiley

However, from this statement, I understood that no one from the black listed countries cant register:

Hello! We updated the blacklisted countries just recently, so right now it is impossible to play from Australia, Afghanistan, Great Britain, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Curaçao, Myanmar, Netherlands, North Korea, Syria, USA. Players won't be able to register from ip based in these countries, besides we check it during verification process.

That's why I ask how it looks exactly in the rules..

I guess my assumptions regarding the blacklisted countries were wrong. would you mind further elaborating on what the blacklisted countries meant? besides not being able to process the local currencies of the black-listed countries what else should we know?

anyway, if you have the funds I suggest getting a copper membership to at least better present your announcement thread with images. having a copper membership allows newbies to be able to post images.
if you need more information check this thread Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images

1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas' current use of BTC on: November 03, 2021, 09:57:52 PM
I love Andreas Antonopoulos. Having said this, he recently said something in one episode of his podcast that surprised me. He was talking about living on Bitcoin and he said that he HODLs his BTC and basically spends only USD. He gets paid in all different fiat, and he spends this fiat for his daily life. When he can, he buys more BTC and HODL.

While I understand that many of us HODL, isn't this just wrong for the future of BTC. First, Satoshi created BTC as a currency. It is intended to be spent. Second, if everyone HODL and nobody spends BTC, isn't this becoming just a pyramid scheme?

We cannot talk about a financial pyramid (scheme) because no one has guaranteed profits. We all know that this is a free market and anything can happen there. After all, Andreas will also start trading Bitcoin normally on the market. He will just do it after a longer time than most of HODLers.

1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: June 14, 2021, 11:35:42 AM
Happy Friday, gamblers Smiley

Some time ago, last October, I asked you if BTC price increase has affected your gameplay somehow. Back then, it wasn't a problem for most of the users who replied.

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino

Bitcoin is still a very convenient cryptocurrency to play.
In my opinion, it all depends on how much money someone is playing.
For big players, Bitcoin will definitely remain the most reliable and easy.
However, I think that due to the low transaction fees for smaller players, Litecoin is much better.

BTC transaction fee is very cheap if you are not gambling with a penny. I only gambled using a small amount of money and I don't find bitcoin transaction fee now high, the average in the past few weeks is only $1 below, so it's very affordable and transaction could still confirm faster.

In fact, transaction fees are now going to normal as the number of transactions has decreased overall. During the bull run transaction fees increased even to several dollars. Compared to Litecoin, where the transaction fee is a few cents, it is a huge difference.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big companies finally had enough of the excessive tax on: June 14, 2021, 09:36:32 AM
Those taxes aren't that a lot for these people because as you have said, they are big businesses and I don't think that it's worth supporting them because they are making money out of us people of the working class, remember to not patronize these people because they only care because you make them money. I think taxation to these companies are a good thing.

The fact that gambling companies earn is normal.
Everyone who wants to play decides what he want to do with his money.
In my opinion, taxes should be lower because that would simply make casinos take less to cover their own costs and gambling would have a higher probability of winning.
