1301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Finals. on: February 06, 2022, 09:22:33 PM
It's already 80 minutes and the score is still 0-0. Despite the fact that I sympathize with the Egyptian team, I think that Senegal will be the winner ot that match.
I have to admit that the strengths are so evenly distributed that I was afraid to bet on either team.

At the moment, the most likely outcome of the match is a draw (in regular time). Senegal is still the favourite, but if things go on like this, we will see another lottery in the form of a penalty shoot-out.

6,25 - 1,16 - 15,00

It's sad if that happens. Yesterday's match was much brighter and despite the lottery hardly anyone is dissatisfied if they watched the game.

Already 113 minutes, and the fight is still very even. All indications are that the winner will be determined in the penalty shootout.
The statistics show that Senegal is doing better in this match, but unfortunately it looks like it will be luck that will decide who will be the winner.

senegal - egypt

who is betting that senegal will win the game?

who is betting that egypt will win the game?

I personally am more in favor of egypt winning this game

-snip-
/edit: Final Score: 5:2 Bayer Leverkusen, wtf!  Shocked
Dortmund had bad times when Haaland isn't with the team but they were able to win previously... Now getting 5 games was another bad story! Bayern is now leading with 9 points = 3 games in advance from 13 games left Roll Eyes

At the moment Bayern's point advantage is really huge. Of course, anything can happen (I think more about the Covid19 problems) but it seems that the winner of this season will be determined much earlier than the ending.

If Haaland leaves Dortmund and Lewandowski stays in Bayern, the advantage could be even greater next season.
1304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 04, 2022, 10:03:35 AM
For the todays game between Hertha Berlin and Bochum i dont know how to place my bet , normaly i would say Bochum!
But this kind of matches its possible that Berlin win at home but i will guess i will go with Bochum.
Dont know if that last Weekend break have brought some performance boost for the teams.
Bochum looks like is a bit better in my opinion.

It is true that predicting the winner of this match is not easy, because both teams present a very similar level of play. However, as for today, I am more willing to the fact that it is Hertha Berlin who will be the winner of this match. Of course, it is easiest to bet on a draw, but I think the Berliners at home will be better team.
1305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io -Welcome to a new crypto friendly casino!!! on: February 03, 2022, 11:37:45 PM
Live casino, may have been around for a while now but just got in here in the forum recently and one of the habits I have noticed in the admin is that they are constantly active in answering questions and clarifying things, I will say a big welcome to them as the journey just started for them on the forum and hoping to see more promotions in the future such as running a signature campaign.

If you are expecting promotions then you should also know that Livecasino focus on live games meaning that whatever is offered is always related to live games
which live game is not suitable for all users including me but for the signature campaign it's a good idea to be recognized faster.

If you don't like live games, simple don't play them. After all, it is obvious that if a casino is focused on live games, this is what bonuses will be about. I really like playing BlackJack and can't wait for the weekend to try Livecasino.io platform.

Signature Campaign, as always is very welcome, because thats for sure the best promotion on Bitcointalk.
1306  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pragmatic play slots not available in my region on: February 03, 2022, 11:19:28 PM
I think as to why the casino doesn't offer slots or any other less profitable games, the answer is very simple. After all, the casino wants to win as much as possible and not let others win. On the other hand, I don't think it is about the type of slots, because probably the probability of winning on each of the slots is the same. I think it's just design that we like more or less.
Then why there are regions where slots is available? I thought casino do not want players to win big but i think they are selective for a more valid reason and not because of the reason your talking about because players can use VPN to bypass the restriction and play the slots games that are unavailable to them.

Not all slots are the same but every slots can differ with each other, starting from their design and to the probability of winning. The natural luck of the player can also play a vital role if he will win or no matter what kind of slots he choose. It is not only about the design on why people pick slots but like I said earlier, other features of slots can get involved as well.

Of course, slots differ not only in design, but also in the type of bonuses, additional games and probably with many more details. It is obviously a matter of luck for one player to hit the jackpot and the other to lose everything, but I am convinced that in the long run, the probability of winning or losing is very similar or even the same for all slots.

Has anyone been getting this message when trying to set up a 1xbit account?

I have never received such a message. The only thing that comes to mind is that you have chosen some cryptocurrency where deposits are currently not available.
Alternatively, try opening 1xbit using one of mirrors. Here list of some options: https://alternative.bet/mirror/1xbit.php
1308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why people keep "investing" money in shit/memecoins? Genuine question. on: January 31, 2022, 11:34:41 PM
Of course, this is due to their desire to obtain great wealth in a short time. This isn’t only limited to beginners but the majority of investors who are running after the quick profit. That is why it is always preferable to choose the classic coins that are widely popular and have been in the market for a long time and have actual use that you can search for them in CMC.

What you described can be briefly described with the pump & dump project. The creators do not care for the project to develop, but to quickly raise the price as high as possible and then sell it. The mechanisms are similar to the ponzi scheme, however it works very differently.
1309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is at the most oversold level on: January 31, 2022, 11:12:33 PM
The assessment that the market is oversold comes from technical analysis, which has no long-term use in the cryptocurrency market. I agree that some psychological behaviors coincide with the patterns of technical analysis in the short term, but when it comes to the current situation on the cryptocurrency market, I am sure that none of the predictions will come true. Unless it's done the day, or two before.
1310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB to $1k? on: January 31, 2022, 10:20:16 PM
I look forward to the day when BNB will be 1k. I do not find it right that BNB, which has a valuable platform like Binance, is crawling at 400 dollars. It will soon be pumping into BNB.

Do not worry! BNB is a very young project compared to Ethereum. ETH is 3 or 4 times longer on the market. Binance has achieved a huge market in a very short period of time. Now it will grow more slowly, but $1k price level will be reached sooner or later.
1311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🔺let's admit it, Bitcoin time is over, now DEFI Time 🔺 on: January 31, 2022, 09:40:49 PM
Then tell me why has BTC dominance risen relative to rest of the altcoins this bear market?

BTC is still the primary store of value in this space, don't get it twisted. It is just that DeFi is growing at an exponential rate, which is definitely fair enough given its utility.

I expect DeFi to grow but it's not the only thing in town. BTC is here to stay, so are NFTs, P2E, etc.

New technologies that appear on the market always grow very quickly at the beginning. This is what hype is characterized by. All new investors are looking for the fastest possible profit, which very often ends in an investment loss. Anyone who is on this market longer thinks exactly like you.
1312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: January 31, 2022, 09:07:00 PM
With as little as $200, it's best to take a chance and buy a little-known project on the market. If you invest in the top 20 coins from Coingecko you won't lose but you will earn very little. If you invest in a project that is now little known and cheap, you could end up earning huge amounts in a few years.
1313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why pancake performance is so terrible? on: January 31, 2022, 08:37:22 PM
Ok first of all l thought maybe i should give it some time to recover and it will show its power but damn this coin literally angers me. When bitcoin coin crashed it was like -22% and one of the worst affected cryptocurrency, I was like ok I will give it some time and it will recover with same speed bit no when bitcoin start recovering the other coins move up to double digit but this guy hardly moving at all. I still think it is one of best crypto coin in universe ok at least in Earth it has so many use cases like staking, ico and the team also burn coins from time to time. So what went so wrong is it its unlimited supply or something else? And another thing it is not just performing so terrible with this crash but was going down continuously even before that.

It looks like this is your first investment in the cryptocurrency market. Whenever the moment of the first losses comes, the investor is very dissatisfied. Don't worry about that, because nobody in this market made money quickly. As you gain experience and understand that drops in prices and increases are just happening, you will start to approach the situation much more calmly and start making money.
1314  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino behavior that turn you off on: January 31, 2022, 08:03:24 PM
Well, we all have experienced both the bad and the good, it all boiled down to the fact that casino reputation is only at stake when the don't follow the right part such as scam behavior, and again players are always advised to read the terms and conditions of any site before creating an account on them.

Caution must be taken whenever it comes to money. Registering at the casino comes with obligations, so it is very important to know the rules on which we are playing.
If I see that there are unclear rules in the rules then I rather avoid such a casino.
1315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Show a newbie the way on: January 30, 2022, 11:57:26 PM
Now that bear market is slowly taking over the market what can a newbie do to make money in a bear market? Staking is a bad idea in bear market I heard, even mining coins are not profitable in bear market too so what's the way forward?

In fact, for a person who is completely new to the cryptocurrency market, it is safest to just transfer funds to a stable coin and wait.
But if you want to earn money on the bear market, you can read, learn and try to trade "short".
Watch the movie "Big Short" - you should like it.  Wink
1316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The way things really are on: January 30, 2022, 11:40:01 PM
I can end up getting hated for this but it's the plain truth, if something is already popular then you've already missed the boat, don't believe the hype sell people shovels instead, I believe this is the way of the rich people, their perfect strategy that still looks like slavery to my eye

There is a lot of truth in what you wrote, but I have seen a few financial bubbles before and the truth is that when we are in the middle of a bubble, unfortunately we are not able to say what stage we are at. It may be that we think the hype is high, but we may really be at the very beginning of the bubble.

Counter Srike used to be my favorite game for a very long time, so I am still faithful to it even now. If I'm betting on esports, it's actually just CS:GO. However, I do not rule out that I will be interested in other esports soon.

1320  Economy / Gambling / Re: If your games aren't provably fair, stop claiming they are. on: January 30, 2022, 09:46:52 PM
Only problem here is that not all players have the technical skills or are technical enough to know which casinos are genuine with their claims and which aren't. I see the provably fair as a motto on almost all crypto casinos. Since I don't know how to verify those claims, I just end up sticking with casinos that has been proven to be provably fair and sticked with them.
A little research would do but as you said not everyone would catch-up what could be a provably fair if someone like us doesn't have any idea what or where to look for them. All we have to do is follow the reputable one that has a good reputation or if most people would recommend it to you. We really don't have any idea how to verify it so yes, sticking to the proven one is our only choice but could it really be a proven one if the above said that we can't verify it though if we do have the technical skills to verify it?

I think most casino users don't pay attention if casino is provably fair at all, because they don't even know what that means. Few people are able to verify whether a casino is provably fair, or whether it only claims it for marketing purposes. That's why there are communities like this on Bitcointalk. I think that part of review services also checks it honestly, so you can also confirm it there.
