Because in your wallet the private keys are encrypted with your passphrase So when you generate a private key, bitcoin-qt needs the passphrase so that it can write it (after encrypting it with the passphrase) in the wallet

She's a newbie and apparently her settings were such that she was not prompted to decrease the balance by 0.0005 0.0001
I have found some threads on this subject where posters state that the transaction will eventually time out if sent through the blockchain.info wallet with the amount being redisplayed at the sending address. Is this true?
Likely Or it will get included

Pywallet will find every single private key it can find even the deleted wallet is corrupted

Hi, when I spotted the 'about us' on Asic-technologies.com mentioned they were from Edinburgh, I didn't hesitate in paying them 1btc for a 3gh/s unit. It did not arrive, they replied, but there is a big [confirmed scam] thread here, I'm going a bit crazy - I was going to buy around 9gh/s of equipment tomorrow :/ help, please! I can see my bitcoin's progress through blockchain on Monday, is there any chance of recovering it, please, assuming I have been scammed?
If scammed no way to get the coins back Except if you discover the guy behind that

Sorry guys, I changed the name of the extension in the settings. It was bto-plusone, it's now BitcoinTalk++. I can't understand why changing the name makes chrome and tampermonkey install both... It's kinda stupid IMO.
So, uninstall bto-plusone and it should be ok

Yeah this one looks like a troll You'd better post links to description of bitcoin and ignore him

Yeah, I fixed the thing and didn't check it worked afterwards Should be ok now

I can't, I'm much more aggressive than you, I would have insulted them long ago... Thanks for explaining Bitcoin with calm Maybe it would be worth to keep track of these threads/articles where misinformations are spread so that one of us can go there and explain bitcoin while others can watch This way we can give advices without interfering the discussion (which would look like an invasion...)
