Can a Chrome (pure, installed with drag-and-drop in chrome://extensions, not with tampermonkey) user check if it works now? It works for me but we never know.

Yep it works

Great
Pass sent btw
2402  Other / Meta / Re: +1 script on: August 04, 2013, 01:03:01 PM
Any body wants to add something?

How about having a built-in feature that does exactly the same thing ?  Grin

More seriously, I've always been reluctant to those GreaseMonkey or equivalent scripts, for one, because they require me to whitelist them in all my script blocking addons, which is not really a pain, but it's not a matter of 1 click either.

Other reason is that code can be tricky to read, sometimes, which is not the case here, and I trust you 100% anyway.

On a final note, if it's widely adopted, are you confident your ws and database will scale up?

Cause I actually really like the fact there is an alternative trust list on which theymos have no control upon at all.

Care to send a password to me, too, please ? Smiley

Edit : to clear up the question about scaling up... What I meant is more like "is this just a proof of concept, or are you intending to maintain it till this forum dies ?"

I don't really like those scripts either, it was indeed a PoC when I started it.
Now that people use it and tend to think it may be useful I'll code it more seriously (the fact that you can't even set your own pass let you imagine the energy I originally put in the login part Grin ).
I think the current hosting can scale up quite more. But I'm ok to buy a 'real' hosting and to spend enough time on the script if this becomes decently used.

And pass sent

Anyone know which alt currencies are the most widely distributed and held by the public?

If you were to start a business accepting cryptocurrencies, which would you support?

BTC, LTC, and what else?

Also is there another cryptocoin list like the one at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=134179.0

BTC >> LTC >> *
2408  Other / Meta / Re: Return to where you were when last read a topic. on: August 03, 2013, 04:36:28 PM
I knew about that but sometimes I accidentally the 'new' button and click on the main thread link instead, and that makes the forum forget your last read post
That makes me wonder, wouldn't that be better to make the main link point to the last read post as well instead of page 1?
Because page 1 can still be reached with its specific link and I think that people would prefer that behaviour
(Is it clear?)

Thanks jackjack for sending through the password.  For some reason I do not see the plus and minus symbols, but I see "undefined" instead, i.e. jackjack [+5] [undefined undefined]

I am using the latest version of Chrome (28.0.1500.95 m).  I had to manually install (i.e. drag and drop onto extensions settings page) since my version of Chrome only allows direct installs from the Chrome Web Store.  I have updated my password and tried adjusting the settings, so not sure what I am doing wrong.

Edit:  Just noticed when I click "undefined" I get a message in the corner of the browser saying "Error: Bad password".  I have tried updating my password and still no luck, could you please reset or confirm my password via PM.  Thanks.

Looks like you have the same problem as RichG.
I didn't notice it because I used Tampermonkey but I can reproduce it now.
Hope I'll find the problem soon.

Todo:
  • Make it work in Chrome
  • Make votes cancellable
  • Enable partial quotes
  • Print BTCUSD
  • PM export

Any body wants to add something?

Ok I need some help deciding, so many choices

Who get's exterminated first

Spots, Gil, DGC, Vlad2Vlad coin???

How about GLD? Anyone even still use FTC or PXC?

Need input

and Baritus, your lame ass "code change" just made it easier LOL....

~BCX~

You will never be able to kill ORB (bwwahhhhahaha); the devs tell us there is an invisible 29.5M share that you would never be able to touch even in 31M years of mining!!!

WTF ORB?

I wonder if I exterminate GLD if Microguy will make a funeral video?

~BCX~

He will make a video about how this didn't happen and how it made GLD even better
And a new one about how the first one doesn't contradict itself
2416  Other / Meta / Re: +1 script on: August 02, 2013, 08:34:35 PM
This is sweet! Can you PM me a pass too. I'd like to see it in action.

Also, Python 3 broke backwards compatibility so are you ever planning on updating your pywallet for python 3? I screwed myself by updating to 3 and I don't want to go back because I mostly just make things for myself. I didn't realize that Twisted doesn't work and neither does your pywallet (which I loved btw).
Sent.

About pywallet, not soon.
I will re-code from scratch and this will allow interesting things like Python3 support, no dependency needed, same features for CL/GUI/WUI, a Qt GUI, etc.
The problem is that I am on another project which takes much of my time and will continue to do so for several weeks, so until then I'm afraid I can't help you.

Did you check the possibility of installing both 2 and 3? If you have constraints that exclude such a possibility we can continue to talk about this in the pywallet thread. I can also try to see if there are many py3-incompatible commands in pywallet.
2417  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: August 02, 2013, 06:12:37 PM

Just got a PM from some newbie telling what a wonderful human Vlad2Vlad is.

Can someone vouch for Vlad2Vlad being a really decent human?

~BCX~

Take a coffee and read that: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=256460.0
The point is he's not a scammer and he actually gave some money on some occasions
He's just either really stupid or really trolly (not sure a troll would give any money to people though)
Either way he is entertaining AND Nuggets is already dead anyway, so I see no point in destroying it
2418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Scripts to predict superblocks JKC,SXC,DMD,ELP,GDC,GIL,LKY,NUG,PHS,SPT,STR on: August 02, 2013, 05:54:52 PM
Maybe a better baby step is to create new *coin rpc command:

getnextblockreward

entirely possible to do for:  CDC, DMD, ELP, GDC, GIL, JNK, LKY, NUG, PHS, RED, SPT, STR, SXC

I wonder if any of the devs of those coins would be interested in adding such a command to the official clients?
This would require them to actually know how to code
2419  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: August 02, 2013, 05:52:34 PM
GLD
They divided the reward by 20 and keep saying this will add value to future investors

Also, seeing Microguy shitting his pants will be priceless
