2501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 30, 2013, 10:51:42 PM
Ok, here's the official launch of Nuggets.  Let's see how the  VGB protocol reacts when coded within a coin.

This is how it reacts. I found the first ever minted Nuggets (NUG) VGB block on July 30th, 2013 at 3:52PM MDT.

First of all I'd like to thank my parents, without whom this would never have happened. I'd also like to thank Vlad, Without his vision for Nuggets this would not have been possible. I'd also like to thank my lord & saviour Jesus Christ.

I'm offering this first VGB block up to a crypto currency collector for the sum of 1 BTC. I'll sell the whole wallet for 5 BTC, which contains 300,000 giveaway NUGs, 6,666 bounty NUGs, and 70 mined blocks, one of which is the historic first VGB block.

1 BTC?
It's worth at least 9001 BTC you noob

Welcome back to 2011

HOLY FUCKING SHIT

2504  Other / Off-topic / Re: jackjack's profile picture on: July 30, 2013, 09:35:09 PM

I think we can connect the second one with a certain social point existing in certain countries.
I think it's actually a spoof on a semi-popular piece depicting an octopus or squid (don't remember) in almost exactly the same position, in almost the same style. I'll look it up later when back home. You can bet on that.

ETA: I know what I'm thinking of, and sure it exists, but I've gone through a lot of octopus and squid porn, unable to find it. Soz.

You seem to be a pretty normal person
2505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 30, 2013, 06:32:47 PM
Uhhhmmmm Vlad, You do release that you tried to release a coin called "Nuggets - The miners coin" And you don't even understand what mining does/why it's important. Seems pretty backwards to me.
Yeah it's pretty strange
2506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: July 30, 2013, 05:25:28 PM
Incorrect, programmers can be bought from India for /10th the price and or course they'll pay Americsn programmers their $70K, that's not big money.

With programmers, you get what you pay for. (Surely you've learned that very recently!)

Are there some fields in which you can pay shit but can receive a decent work?
2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NUG] - Nugget Bounty Thread on: July 30, 2013, 05:20:31 PM
And we are now in VGB land!   Please keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times.

Any nodes?
Those from markm don't exist anymore

markm lost the nuggie feeling, I think.

I only know 2 nodes still accepting connections:

addnode=198.199.121.22
addnode=2.11.56.240
Thanks

Surely he is a scammer.
He claimed the golden bounty then went away. Jesus, punish him for not helping our holy blocks.

Possible to mine only bonus blocks? Why would anybody mine the blocks in between?
I proposed to take into account the current block hash but no support so far

To appease the noodly appendage, I made sure to include an empty section entitled "Coins that seed with Current Block Hash:" in the readme of https://github.com/superblocks/superblocks/

May you be touched

2511  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pywallet: manage your wallets/addresses/keys/tx's on: July 30, 2013, 12:41:10 PM
Yes it's kinda exciting!
The problem is that the system is emulated and sadly not fully coded so I can't be sure of anything. It seems pretty straight forward so far.
I'll contact slush soon to address this.

2.1.0 pushed btw
2512  Other / Meta / Re: +1 script on: July 30, 2013, 10:51:27 AM
Yes, everyone with the script see the +1s
Only members can vote after asking me their password

I'm the only one voting for now so don't expect many people having something else than a 0
2513  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pywallet: manage your wallets/addresses/keys/tx's on: July 29, 2013, 08:45:42 PM
I guess everything's ok, the official 2.1.0 with working watchonly-cloning and recoveries will be pushed soon.

Also, great news I received a great piece of work

2516  Other / Meta / BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.96 on: July 29, 2013, 05:47:23 PM
BitcoinTalk++ is a user script that brings some new features the original bitcointalk.org doesn't have.
It is open source so I advise you to check the source if you have any doubt about it.

It used to be hosted on userscript.org, so the changelog had to be retrieved. You can find a ugly version of it at http://btpp.jampa.eu/changelog

For bug reporting or feature suggestion please use the bug tracker: http://btpp.jampa.eu/bugs

BT++ includes:
Quote
Configuration for nearly all the features
Up/downvote people (requires a BT++ password)
See the total score of people
Like/dislike posts
A chat
A Bitcoin ticker, using your own source/currency
Hide threads
Add your own CSS file
Display the real target domain next to each link (helps against phishing)
Link to threads links directly to the last read post
Auto-format Bitcoin addresses and txids
New "upload image" button in the reply form
Auto-refresh current page

How to get your password

In order to vote and chat, you will need a password : you can get it there.
If you don't have enough activity you'll have to send me a PM so that I activate your link.
New users who don't contribute positively to the forum (only posting in giveaways, begging, trolling, etc) won't likely be whitelisted.

How to install it

XPI file coming soon
Looks like it's impossible to transform a userscript into a XPI for Firefox Mobile 23 (last version)
Please tell me if you have any information about this matter

Android
You can't install extensions on Chrome: https://developers.google.com/chrome/mobile/docs/faq
There's a browser named Tampermonkey on the Google Play but it's still in beta (scripts work well, but poor interface)
ViolentMonkey broken for me, please wait until I solve that Additionally you can use Opera:
 - Install Opera Mobile labs built with extensions
 - Install Violent Monkey for Opera
 - Go to https://github.com/jackjack-jj/btpp/raw/master/btpp.user.js and copy all the text
 - Click on the Violent Monkey icon under the URL, click on the arrow, then on the first button
